Nolan Wells Family Fight Back The Grand Jury Got It Wrong!

ons u she just got here from Washington DC. Christian Clark is renowned. Um she was the head of the civil rights division at the department of justice. Uh she is now the general counsel of the NAACP nationally. She is probably the the person who understands these types of investigations more than anybody else because she's led so many of them on the federal level. in her position as civil rights chair at DOJ. So, we are fortunate that her plane made it. So, you'll hear from her briefly and then we'll have the parents. Y'all, let's give a big round of applause for our hero, Attorney Kristen Clark. The NAACP is bringing the full breath of our resources to the next phase of this fight. We are not going anywhere. >> Wow, man. Nolan Wales, they've been cleared of all charges, but uh Ben Crump steps up to the plate as usual. He's not going down without a fight. The grand jury, they they done just cleared these boys and said the charges is dropped. OG, you there, >> right? Yeah. Okay. The the white grand jury, all white grand jury, a closed grand jury, found that it was no foul play and that it was an accidental death. But you haven't even found that in the corner's office. They haven't haven't determined how he died. So, Ben Chump talking about we got a renown >> Ben Chump or Ben Crump. >> Ben Chump. Uh yeah, we got a renowned uh attorney from uh Washington DC and she been on so many of these cases. So what Negro, you sitting there, you didn't let it go silent. All this is evidence. Everybody that got these tapes and stuff, you've been just like Steven on Jango sitting back calculating with white folks and let this happen. The grand jury has closed. It will be no further uh charges, no further investigating in the state of Mississippi. Uh Mississippi burning secondhand. So all of this getting and staging. What? He always gets on the media grandstanding, but he does no work. He ain't in the court appealing IT. HE'S NOT DOING ANY PAPERWORK. HE'S JUST LIKE SOME CIGAR store engine just there in the way. I hate I can't even stand his uh stepping fetching ass voice. >> Well, let me just let me let me let me get in there a little bit. Um what really happened uh today down there. >> Uh people stepping up, unifying because they feel hurt be behind what happened. You know, I got to be the voice of reason in this to really bring some clarity to what happened uh down there, man. uh after the fact of this whole thing, you know, falling through for him, it didn't it didn't happen. And and they was they was banking on that. I seen a hurt mother. I seen a hurt father. I seen a a hurt attorney who's been trying who's been down there month after month. All of the NAACP has stepped up. I don't see Al Sharpton yet, but I'm pretty sure he's been called and told what was going on. And it says Nolan Whales friend cleared by grand jury as their lawyers vowed to hold online accusers accountable. So therefore online accusers who came at him, get ready. You know, I thank God that I wasn't one of those guys who was pretty much just going directly at him. I was I'm a I'm a journalist. I I I basically balance out the equilibrium for things like this for for the culture because I know we have to work with these people even though we know a lot of stuff is is not right. But we have to we we we have to see the justice system through. Says after a Mississippi grand jury found that Nolan Wells death was consistent with drowning and turning up no evidence of crime or racial motive. Uh, an attorney for one of the men wrongly targeted online said his client intends to hold accusers accountable. Wales 19 disappeared July the 4th after taking a boat trip to Horn Island. A a barrier island along Mississippi GF coast with a group of friends searched crews combin uh come with the area for two days. They was all over through there trying to find out uh until a National Park Service ranger discovered his remains at the island northwest uh uh tip on July the 6th. Months later, a Jackson County, Mississippi grand jury returned no true bill in Wales death investigation, meaning no indictment or charges will be filed. And so this is very hardening when you see that the phone had issues. And they saying now that every that wasn't just his phone that came back without without the person. That was others. Now, was this playing that way? I don't know. Um I do feel like u we should have dug deeper into this. The justice system has failed us in this one. I I I Nolan man, Nolan Well would truly be missed and and I hate this for his family. OG and I know you got a lot to say. No, it's nothing that's nothing else to say because I mean uh y'all jigaboos just >> Well, first of all, first of all, who are you you're talking about? Jigaboos. Now you just like he didn't sent for this other uh imitation from Washington DC. He had a forensic expert coroner supposed to be from Wouldn't it been easier to fly somebody a man from Washington DC to Mississippi one day and let him sit at the autopsy while they did it right there then letting them carve up the body TAKE PIECES THAT THEY WANT AND THEN SEND THE BODY TO WASHINGTON DC. WHAT KIND OF DANG FOOL are you to do something like that? OG, you got to understand there's a process. Those people wasn't gonna just pack up and come down there. There was a reason why he done it. I don't think he would have done it if he didn't have to. >> More than likely, they needed they had their equipment up there and they didn't want to come down without their equipment. I don't know. But I think you're just saying that because you trying to make Ben Crump out to be this. He's not It's not all in his hands. He He's guiding and trying to understand what the people want. How do the parents want him to react to this thing? If you sit in front of the front line, you have to accept the responsibility. >> OG, there has been a lot of people, including Al Sharpen, that came down there that tried to make sense of this matter. Well, them two that came didn't show up for him either. the woman that came and did the the the thing with the with the recording and moving the voices when when she had found them on the boat when they had made the phone call when she started dealing with the sound. That was about it. >> They tried they tried to indict her AND TOLD HER WAS FALSIFIED. White America did everything they did just what Mississippi do. Just what Mississippi do. And they brought two of the jigaboos from America to clone this out and make sure it was where they wanted it. And for any any attorney worth his while would never have let that happen. They've been silent all until this. You still you have a grand jury that say was no foul play and you don't even know the cause of death. THAT'S JUST LIKE SAYING I'M MURDERED AND I don't know whether I GOT A GUNSHOT WOUND, a knife wound. You don't know. You don't know whether I was poisoned. But it was no foul play. But I've got a big gash in my head. OG, I I I I I think they couldn't win for losing. You wasn't about to let them uh uh uh grand jury witness says he slipped off the boat hours before the death. That's what they saying. >> The grand jury witness, a white man, >> says Nolan Well slipped off and fell off the boat hours before he died off of the Mississippi. According to the witness who testified before the grand jury that decided against filing criminal charges to relate the death, all of them was white OG. According to the documents file late last week, >> continue everybody on that grand jury was a pale face. >> A witness said under oath that they saw Nolan slip awkwardly off the side of the boat around 3:30 p.m. and 4th of July when he was at Horn Island. He slipped off the boat. >> Wait a minute. Wait a minute. First of all, stop right there. Did none of the witnesses, none of the kids on the boat say he slipped? How did the grand jury come up when he slipped off the boat and hit his head? That's not what was said on the 911 call. That's not what was said when they called about his phone. So, how amazingly we come up that he SLIPPED AND NOBODY SAW HIM SLIP AND FELL OFF THE BOOK. >> I agree with you 100%, OG. I I don't like this at all. I'm just reporting on it, man. So no, don't so don't try to protect Ben Chump. Ben Crime, I'm telling you now, he he he didn't know they were going to say that. He didn't probably know that witness the doc says that the witness could not say whether Nolan hit his head when he slipped. Though the witness did say Nolan got right back up and continued to socialize with people on the boat. >> I thought he slipped and fell off the boat. The docs also slate while the grand jury found no other evidence to explain the bruise on the back of Mr. Whales head of the suspect's bruising on the buttox of his on yeah the buttox and the shoulder. The grand jury uh cannot say with absolute certainty that this fall caused you know everything. Uh it says, "As you know, the grand jury has returned the decision of a no true bill, so no one has been indicted in connection with this case." Ben Crump, the attorney for Wells Family has slammed authorities for the decision, claiming the state of Mississippi, is attempting to close the chapter on Nolan Well death without getting to the truth. And I want to say this before I go any further. He slammed. Listen what it said. He slammed the authorities. He's trying to figure out how to, you know, make them stop doing what they doing in that city. He slammed the authorities. It says, >> has Has he has he did a a really mandamus to the federal court? Has he done a a uh um couple of rits? It's a couple of rips that he could he he's on the on the NEWS TALKING, BUT WHAT has he filed in the courts? >> I'll tell you what he done. Let me tell you what he done. Trump added in the same statement that he's unsatisfied with the lack of definitive explanation of for bruises. They don't have no no explanation for it. While Trump's unhappy with the grand jury's decision, Edward Andrew Paddock, an attorney from Nolan's friends, celebrating it, telling us, "We said it all along." Warren Hudson, Jax Patillo, and Morgan Seymour were always completely innocent. There was never any doubt. They are terrific people. That's what he said to do with being chump. What that got to do with Trump? Why are you quoting something putting his name on it that a white man is saying about three killers? >> Man, this [ __ ] is horrible, man. I don't like it. It's about those people if you believe they done something wrong and unjustifiable. >> They have done something wrong. YOU KNOW, WHY DO you keep trying to falsify? >> I'm asking what do we do?
