Video summary
The video begins with a giveaway announcement for a Nintendo Switch 2, requiring only a subscription to enter, before transitioning into a sponsorship segment for the rhythm game *Maestro*. Developed by Doublejack, this title allows players to act as an orchestra conductor using Joy-Con motion controls, featuring music from franchises like *Star Wars* and *Harry Potter* alongside classical composers. The host notes that while the game is easy to learn, it offers deep mastery potential, and a free demo is currently available for testing. Following this, the discussion shifts to *Castlevania: Belmont's Curse*, where Konami has confirmed a demo release for October 1st, 2026, with save data transfer capabilities across all platforms including Switch, PS5, Xbox, and PC. The host expresses relief that the full game will launch on October 15th simultaneously across all systems, ending previous concerns about staggered releases.
A significant portion of the video covers recent UK sales charts and rumors regarding upcoming titles. *Marvel's Wolverine* debuted at number one in the UK, pushing *Fire Emblem: Fortune Weave* to second place, while the Switch 2 version of *Lego Batman* climbed to third due to high Switch adoption rates. The host also highlights unusual footage of *Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire* appearing in high quality on Nintendo platforms, suggesting an official emulation might be imminent for a September or October release. Additionally, details from *Final Fantasy VII Rebirth* and its sequel reveal that developers are adding an optional feature to automatically raise character levels, catering to players who wish to skip open-world exploration and focus solely on the linear story without grinding.
The latter half of the video addresses delays and controversies surrounding *007 First Light* and *Splatoon 3: Raiders*. IO Interactive confirmed that the Switch 2 version of *007 First Light* is delayed until March 2027 to optimize performance, specifically implementing meshlet rendering and adjusting lighting for handheld mode legibility, though they managed to keep NPC counts intact. Meanwhile, a Famitsu interview clarified that *Splatoon 3: Raiders* will receive no further balance updates or DLC affecting gameplay, as it was designed as a complete standalone experience. The host defends this decision against online criticism, arguing that releasing finished games without mandatory downloadable content is a valid approach and that the community's expectation for endless expansion may inadvertently delay future main titles like *Splatoon 4*. The video concludes with behind-the-scenes updates on the host's audio equipment, explaining a switch to a new Sennheiser microphone to improve consistency in recording quality.

All right, everyone. We are giving away
a Nintendo Switch 2 right now. You can
enter through the link down in the pin
comment or the description. The only
requirement to even enter is just to be
subscribed to the YouTube channel
because it's a giveaway specifically for
our subscribers. Also, uh we are drawing
the winner on October 1st. I know we've
been doing this giveaway for quite some
time. I can't wait to get to its
conclusion, get someone really set up
and happy for this holiday season as we
get into our next giveaway. With that
out of the way, before we get into
anything else, I'm actually happy to say
that this video is proudly sponsored.
So, you know what, Nate? Yes, myself on
the other end of this edit. Throw it in
there. This video is sponsored by
Doublejack to let you guys know about a
brand new game on Switch and Switch 2
called Maestro. Maestro is a very easy
to learn but fairly hard to master
rhythm game that turns you into an
orchestra conductor. As someone who grew
up playing in concert bands, it's really
neat to be the one conducting the
orchestra instead of playing in it. The
game uses various motion controls with
the JoyCons and Joy-Con 2Os in order to
conduct an orchestra, including choirs.
It features a wide range of music from
Star Wars, Game of Thrones, The Lord of
the Rings, Harry Potter, and Attack on
Titan along with timeless classics from
Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner, Vivaldi, and
Duke Ellington. The best part is that a
free demo is out right now, so you can
try the game before you buy. If that's
not great enough for you, you don't even
have to have any direct knowledge of
music to play. While the Attack on Titan
music is DLC that's available right now
exclusively on Nintendo platforms, you
get Ashes of Fire from Attack on Titan
included with your game purchase. Get
Maestro today through the link in the
description or at least try out that
demo. Thanks again to DoubleJack for
sponsoring this video. All right, guys.
We have a bunch of stuff to get into
today and one of the things we're
talking about is actually Castlevania.
We have some good news that a demo is
going to be available fairly soon for
Castlevania Belmont's Curse, a game I've
already played at PAX West. Haven't put
a video out yet. They were supposed to
send me B-roll. I still don't have it.
So,
I don't know what to do with that video
because I got nothing I can even show
you guys. That being said, I had a lot
of fun with the demo. It was a lot of
fun. Uh, and the demo that you're
getting now may or may not be the same
demo I played. I don't know. So, is it
really a point to me to get that video
out at this point? Thanks. Thanks,
Konami. Do appreciate going hands- on
early. I don't like that we couldn't
record. And this is just a really weird
situation. Plus, there's no Switch 2
version of the game. It's only a Switch
One version. So, it's really blurry on
Switch 2. That wasn't addressed. I tried
asking in person, didn't really get an
answer. So, it is what it is. We'll talk
about that. Uh, next up, we have the UK
sales charts coming in, which includes
the debut of Wolverine for PlayStation 5
and Fire Emblem for Nintendo Switch 2.
So, we got to go over that. Uh Nintendo
or really the Pokemon Company posted a
clip from well Pokemon games and that's
not really surprising but this clip is
in such a high quality compared to the
original. It's clearly running via some
sort of unknown emulator which follows
up rumors we already had about certain
games releasing very soon on Nintendo
Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch. So we now
have some evidence for that. We got to
dive into that. Uh we have some more
stuff coming from Final Fantasy 7
Revelation. uh from Hamaguchi. And they
talked about obviously, you know, trying
to change up the system to make it a bit
more new player friendly, including
potentially like you always have to like
grind sometimes to level and progress.
They've putting an option in there to
make this easier and or completely
optional. I think this is good for
accessibility, but obviously people who
prefer it a certain way tend to get
really upset. I don't know really why,
cuz they're not taking away that way of
play. They're just adding a new way. But
I get it. There are some people that
just forever hate anything they consider
to be in easy mode. Uh we have some new
information from IO Interactive on 007
first life from Switch 2. Some of it
comes from TGS. Some of it comes from an
interview. So we got to talk about that.
Uh we actually have a in-person look and
I say in person, you guys are obviously
on the internet looking at this
digitally through me and I'm looking at
it digitally through them. But we have
some nonofficial
images. So, ones that people took of the
40th anniversary Switch 2 and the
Electric Ocarina because it was at TGS.
So, got a lot of uh photos of that that
that uh we can look at here. We have an
update on Splatoon Raiders, believe it
or not. And the update is actually about
there not being any future updates. This
is actually causing a really big stir
online with Splatoon Raiders in
particular, which I find really
interesting. We have to talk about that
and why people seem to be upset about it
for some odd reason. That's actually our
big story today because I'm a little
miffed and baffled that Nintendo is
doing something that most people used to
wildly consider to be a good thing and
now it's being chastised as a negative.
I think Nintendo's in a, you know, can't
win, can't lose or can never win
situation. I guess they can lose. It's a
lose-lose. It's weird. It's dumb. Maybe
the internet's just overreacting, which
is the most likely scenario. All right,
guys. Let's go ahead and get into our
first story. And this is about a new
demo for Castlevania. So, a demo of
Castlevania Belmont's Curse has been
officially announced. We're over at VGC
for this. So, the playable demo for the
game will release on October 1st, 2026,
the publisher confirmed. The demo will
be available on every format the full
game will be coming to. So, Switch,
PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and
PC, and will be a relatively small
download coming in between 3 to 6 GB
depending on the format and what
platform you're on. According to Konami,
players will be able to retain their
save data from the demo and transfer it
over to the full game once it's
released. I do think that's at least a
benefit here. You're basically playing
the beginning of the game early. I don't
mind that. Now, in order to do this, you
need to make sure that you're playing
the demo on the same platform, the same
account as you plan to use for the full
game. So, if you demo it on Switch, but
you're planning to buy it for PS5, your
save data does not transfer to PS5. All
right. The official release date is
October 15th, meaning you get about two
weeks early access to the beginning of
the game. Konami have previously stated
that this release date only applied to
the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions,
with the Switch version coming at a
later date. It has now changed this,
however, confirming all platforms,
including Switch, will get the game on
October 15th. So, there you guys go.
That's one of the biggest updates maybe
from this is just this note that, hey,
we're actually getting Castlevania.
We're getting all this stuff the same
day as everyone else. We've been wanting
this to be more of the case. It's
happening with this game. Hopefully,
this continues to be something that
happens with future Konami games that
are coming to Nintendo Switch, too. All
right, guys. We got to go ahead and get
to the UK charts, which include Fire
Emblem, Fortunes Weave, and Wolverine.
And it says, "Fight lights up the
podium, but it can't claw past Sony's
latest." So, both Nintendo and Sony got
in on the new release fund last week.
And with our latest look at the UK
charts now in, it's time to see which
came out on top. Alas, if the headline
wasn't enough of a giveaway, it was
Marvel's Wolverine that clawed its way
to victory and landed in the top spot
for its debut week. This put Fire Emblem
Fortune Weave was still came out of the
gate strong in second. And would you
look at that? The Switch 2 release has
bumped Lego, Batman, Legacy of the Dark
Knight back up to third. And then here's
the full top 40. And you're seeing
Wolverine at one, Final Fortunes at two.
Unfortunately, we don't get like exact
sales numbers from them. Uh we do get
breakdowns though, such as the fact that
Lego Batman, Legacy of the Dark Knight
popping up to three. It's literally
because 87% of those sales were on
Switch. So definitely the kind of boost
that people that were making Lego Batman
were hoping to see when it dropped on
Nintendo. Then you see Blood of the Dom
Walker at four, Mario Kart World at
five, Poptopia at six, Oniimi Musha, Way
of the Sword dropping from 1 to 7, where
you're still seeing the Switch at about
17 or seven, sorry, 17 7% of sales of
that one for last week, PlayStation 5
dominating for Oni Musha. Tamaci Life:
Living the Dream at 8, EA Sports FC at
26 at 9, and The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt
Game of the Year Edition at 10, which
again, people are probably trying to
pick up this stuff for dirt cheap while
they're on sale because again, you get a
free upgrade on the 29th to the
remastered version. So, look, if you
ever want to get into The Witcher 3 and
you don't own it, start looking for
those sales out there, whether it's
physical or digital, you can get the
boost either way. So, uh, yeah, that's
the list, guys. We're not going to go
over the full top 30 just because we
don't really have any numbers, so it's
just kind of like, oh, that's
interesting. Oh, that's interesting.
Again, you know what's also interesting?
Uh how about the fact that uh an
emulated version of Ruby and Sapphire is
being promoted by Nintendo. And uh it's
kind of weird. Actually, maybe more like
the Pokemon Company, but it's extremely
high quality, clearly emulated. We've
never seen it in this quality or
emulation on any official format from
Nintendo. Normally, you only see this
when you emulate it yourself. So, we
come in here and you can see the footage
here. We'll just blow it up so you can
see kind of how high quality this is.
Again, I know Pixel Game, you might
think, "Oh, this isn't that great."
Also, X compression, but it's just going
in a circle. It's just going in a
circle, but it's extremely high quality.
So, here's where uh Central Leaks notes.
The Pokemon official account has posted
a clip of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire
being played on an unknown emulator.
That's really interesting. But that are
not the only ones that are talking about
this. Obviously, uh as we go over here
where we see the Poke Times, the gun
says, "Hey, wait, Picochan." As we go
down, imagine if this was from a new PC
port. Is this footage from actual
hardware? Was the GBA this crisp? It's
looking cleaner than my nostalgia
filter. The color is way too vibrant.
It's the Ruby Sapphire Switch version.
No doubt about it. I want to play
Pokemon Pixel again. This is someone's
footage before Omega Ruby came out. The
one they posted does seem more Switch
ESC. So yeah, guys, uh things are kind
of looking like this might be in fact
Ruby and Sapphire being emulated on
Switch or Switch 2. And this has been
reported by Special Nikki as a rumor out
there that these games are coming either
in September or October. We are in
September, almost getting towards
October. And now we're seeing actual
footage that looks like it's from that
supposed emulated version. So you guys
know they did what? Fire Red, Leaf
Green. Guy sold it to you 20 bucks a
pop. They're probably going to do the
same for Ruby and Sapphire. Uh so just
kind of something to pay attention to in
the back burner of your mind when you're
thinking about what's next for Pokemon.
Uh that appears to be what is coming
next. All right guys, let's go ahead and
dive into this story on Final Fantasy 7.
And Genki_jpn
uh took a quote from a interview here.
Says Naoki Hamaguchi says, "Final
Fantasy 7 Revelation will have an option
at a certain point in the game to
automatically raise your character's
level to the recommended level to
progress for those who only want to play
the story." He says he got a lot of
feedback from players only wanting to
play the main story in Rebirth and skip
the side content that they were
underleveled and struggled. He says he
wants players who want to skip the open
world experience to have a similar
linear storydriven experience to Final
Fantasy 7 remake. So they will include
an option that pops up at a certain
point asking do you want to
automatically raise the level to the
recommended level? He says, "Players
that don't want to explore the open
world and just want to play the main
story can select the option to
automatically adjust the level." I'm not
opposed to this. It is just an option
and there are people that don't like the
openw worldness of Rebirth and
Revelation and rather just focus on the
story. They just want to see the story
to the conclusion. I am not opposed to
story only modes. Call it baby mode.
Call it what you want, guys. People
should be allowed to play video games
their way. I do not fault the developer
if they don't include difficulty options
and they don't include something like
this because it's not part of their
creative vision. But clearly they know
that some people experience the story
and they think that that is actually an
important part of their creative vision
to the point that you can enjoy the game
just experiencing the story. So they
have decided to allow it. It is their
decision and if it's their decision, how
could I be mad about it guys? It's not
how I'm going to play the game. But, uh,
it can be how you play the game if you
so choose. And I don't think options are
a bad thing inherently, as long as it
doesn't ruin the original experience,
which this one obviously doesn't because
these are people choosing to not play
the game that way. All right, guys. We
have uh to get into some 007 first light
news. We're first going to go over to
Nintendo patents watch over on Blue Sky
who has some stuff from TGS. It says,
"At Tokyo Game Show, IO Interactive
answered questions on Resident Evil 007
first light for Switch 2. says, "Taking
time to optimize the switch two version
as note." People were mad about this
because it's delayed to next year. Says,
"Taking time to optimize the switch two
version such as using mesh lit
rendering. Meshlets will improve the
experience on other platforms, too." So,
again, this is an improvement. Again,
this like optimization for Switch 2
affecting other platforms. They're just
outright saying that's the case. Only
targeting 30 FPS with no higher FPS
mode. They did test 60 fps, but it
didn't work. I would have liked to see
if someone would have followed that up
asking if they tried testing it with
frame generation. Doesn't look like they
did. And it says no mouse input or
support. The QA ensures the UI
legibility in handheld mode. So good.
They did think about handheld mode
legibility. I was a bit worried about
that. Level of details is adjusted for
Switch 2, but player experience is not
is not compromised. They claim they
learned from the Switch 2 Hitman to
optimize the 007 port, such as handling
large numbers of NPC and light sources.
Aside from development reasons, the
delay is also due to requests from
marketing, which is probably to avoid
Grand Theft Auto and I assume and they
assume as well, Ocarina of Time. Now,
that's not the only bit we have here
from IO Interactive. Uh, we have also
some stuff over here, uh, where some
compromises are inevitable. So, this is
a bit more detailed on some of that
stuff. So, it says, "Just last week, we
received perhaps the unsurprising news
that 007 First Light was going to be
delayed on Switch 2." Again, that summer
2026 window has been pushed to March
2027. And in light of the new release
date, developer IO Interactive has
spoken about its reasoning for the
rescheduling. In a new interview with
Inven Global, IO Interactive producer
Christina Vega clarifies that while
being delayed for a third time is
certainly disappointing news for fans,
this decision was also made for their
benefit. While this delay stemmed from
the team needing a brief breather after
an extended period of pushing the
development, combined with requests for
marketing and other various factors and
implementing a new meshet rendering
system. So switch two port is working is
work is the switch two porting work is
going very well. Recently while
preparing a presentation for gamescom we
compared footage we worked on back in
March with the results from the summer
and there was really so much progress.
So basically this is just following up
some of the story that we just heard
just with some exact quotes later on. It
says here that you know when we you know
first started working on it we
experimented with applying different
frame rates depending on the resolution.
We even tried seeing if we could run
cinematic scenes at a different frame
rate, but ultimately it didn't work
properly. Some compromises are
inevitable. However, the producer
clarifies that the team made those
choices in areas that aren't very
crucial to players. NPC and enemy
numbers have stayed the same on the
Switch 2 version. That's really
interesting. That's usually the first
thing people cut back. So, the team has
dropped the quality on select background
assets to keep things up and running. We
chose technical solutions instead of
radical compromises. It all makes sense
now, obviously, for that delay. And
guys, I'm not mad about the delay. I'd
rather the game be done right than
rushed out. But it does sound like part
of the delay, at least out of this year,
like maybe it wouldn't have made the
summer window instead might have been
more ready by like November. They also
mentioned marketing reasons, which means
avoiding GTA and avoiding Ocarina of
Time. So, I'm guessing the game will
probably done this year and ready to go.
They're pushing it till March to kind of
get away from GTA and Zelda since they
couldn't hit the summer deadline. That's
that's my takeaway. Now, some a couple
items coming this holiday season. One of
which you might even have pre-ordered.
we have now seen in person. So, here's a
gallery for uh what the Zelda Switch 2
and Electric Ocarina look like in
person, which is interesting. It's fun
with this stuff at TGS since Nintendo's
not at TGS and yet the special edition
console was there. I always find that
funny when that happens. Anyways,
Nintendo's going all out for its
upcoming Ocarine of Time release on the
5th of November. Remember, remember the
5th of November, but now remember it for
good reasons. Anyways, the big headliner
of course is the release of the 40th
anniversary theme Zelda console. It hit
shelves on October 29th, 2026. So, to go
down here, and this is OCD Switch 2
console right here. Uh, again, I don't
know what you really expected to see
here. It looks exactly like the photos,
except maybe a little worse because of
the glare on the case it's in. Again, in
person, probably looks way better than
the way a camera is going to capture it.
I always love to have like that tilt
Joy-Con look off the edge. I know they
have a stand for that. I think that's
that's really just a neat touch for
display purposes. Uh so there you go.
Obviously that looks really really
clean. That's a really nice shot of it
right there. They try to get the same
shot here. A little bit of glare, but
still you can see almost all of the
intricate details. Same here on the
front. And then there's the electric
ocarina, which some people were hoping
that like you would just touch each one
of those things and it would play notes,
but it turns out that actually each one
of those buttons is one of the songs
from the game. All 12 songs are on the
ocarina so you can use it while you play
the game. But it's not actually an
electric ocarina in so much that you are
uh touching those and they play notes
without you blowing in. It's just
literally press a button and it plays
that song. So guess memorizing which
button is which song will be the next
trick. Uh and there it is on a display
case which I think many people will do.
Uh for most the most case they'll
probably buy this and put it on display
in a case or behind them or on a shelf
somewhere. And that's the back of the
box for it showing uh how it can be
displayed. It shows a little thing
holding it up, all that stuff. So, uh
good stuff there, guys. Uh I think that
uh this looks Look, guys, to say I'm
excited for Zelda 40th anniversary is an
understatement. And I know I got to wait
till 2027 to buy most of this stuff, but
I don't really care. I'm so excited for
what's happening. And it's happening in
my lifetime. And that alone makes me,
like I've I've said many times, we're on
the timeline that best pleases me. and
I'm sorry if it doesn't please you. All
right, guys. We have a really big update
on Spatoon Raiders and it comes from a
developer interview. Uh, a lot of stuff
got asked and uh, look guys, we're not
getting we're not getting any DLC or
additional updates to Splatoon Raiders.
So, in the interview it says, "Do you
have any questions about DLC or updates
which have been a frequent topic of
discussion among readers?" So, that was
a fan submitted question for this
interview. This is a Famitsu interview
if you're wondering. So, this is a
Google translate and Ina says, "Unlike
the main series, which evolves the
gameplay through balance adjustments and
content additions, Raiders of the Lost
Ark, they they mean Splatoon Raiders. I
love how it like I laughed when I first
saw this translation error. I'm like,
"Oh my gosh, it's one of my favorite
movies, Raiders of the Lost Arc, but
that is not what it is. It's Splatoon
Raiders." Anyways, it was developed with
the goal of providing a complete
experience as is. I just Sorry, I can't
get over how wonky translating English
to or Japanese to English can be.
Anyways, therefore, we are not planning
any DLC or updates that affect game
balance. However, if a critical bug is
found, we will address it as needed. So,
no additional content affecting game
balance. They didn't necessarily say
there would be any additional content at
all, but it kind of seems like they're
not really looking into doing that at
all. Now, what's interesting in not
having new content come potentially
here, again, they're not saying there
won't necessarily be any, but nothing
for game balance and probably nothing
else, but there could be, is even if
there isn't, even if Spatoon Raiders is
a complete video game. I don't really
know how that's a problem, but the
internet kind of disagrees. You go in
here, this is just one example. You go
to Nintendo everything's post here says,
"Bro, game is so much potential for DLC
that expands it. Easy money. That's kind
of lame. I played this one and it's
super short. more content would be
great. Uh, this one thinks it's the
right move. Thank god they want Splatoon
4. Uh, you know, this kind of sucks. Was
hoping for new outfits at least. Kind of
needed more content after you do
everything. I don't think it doesn't
need DLC, but I'm the only one who
doesn't think it has the perfect amount
of content. Uh, yada yada yada. So, and
you're seeing this repeated ad nauseium
across the internet. I've seen it in
some videos already, guys. Nintendo uh
doesn't care what there could be. I want
to be very clear. there might be content
DLC on the way. They didn't say in the
interview that there wouldn't be. So, I
want to be clear about that. They only
said no balance updates. They didn't say
no content updates. But, I will note
that even if there isn't, there's
nothing wrong with Nintendo releasing
complete video games. Like, they didn't
have DLC for Tears of the Kingdom. Yeah,
maybe it felt weird after Breath of the
Wild, but they just released a complete
game. I don't I don't understand what's
wrong releasing complete games. There
was no DLC for Famcom Deceptive Club.
That was just a complete game. Yoshi and
the Mysterious Book likely no DLC.
That's just a complete video game. And
look, whether you like to admit it or
not, making content, drip feeding
content, making DLC will push back
development of something like Splatoon
4, which is what you really want. So, if
there is no DLC ever for this game, just
know it's because they moved on to
Splatoon 4 and the filler content was
Splatoon Raiders. I think we also have
to remember Spoon Raiders is a $50
digital, $60 um physical game, which by
the way is $10 less than Nintendo's
traditional MSRP on Switch 2. So
Nintendo is not treating this like it's
a $70 premium experience or even an $80
Fire Emblem experience. They're treating
this like, no, this is a side game. This
is not meant to replace Splatoon 3. And
look, we released it as a solo single
player experience for you to enjoy.
maybe similar to what Kirby Air Riders
as a multiplayer experience was last
year where Sakurai is like, "Yeah, we're
not making new content for this game."
And they've basically stuck to that.
They are not making DLC or any other
character additions or any track
editions or anything to, you know, to
Kirby Air Riders. It is a complete game.
And I think gamers are at this point
where we just aren't used to games being
done when they come out. is a foreign
concept for many people, especially in
the genre, the looter shooter genre that
this game exists in. It makes people be
like, "Well, all these other games do
that. This whole genre does it." And if
Nintendo's doing it, they're like,
"Yeah, well, good for them." Uh, also,
everyone was making a certain type of
FPS game at one point and then we made
Splatoon, so maybe we just want to do
things our own way. That's the way I'm
going to leave it. Of course, DLC might
still happen and of course I'll be happy
if it does. I'm just noting that even if
it doesn't, guys, what's wrong with
games being complete? I I It's weird.
It's a single player game that you can
do some co-op with, but it's intended as
a single player experience. I don't know
what the problem is. The end game is
nuts and crazy. People who think there's
not enough content just I don't think
are spending enough time in the endame.
That said, guys, I'm going to leave it
alone. Uh I personally haven't played
the game, so I'm just working off the
experience of others and the various
reviews I've read. So, I can't really
speak with much more authority than what
I have so far other than to just say I
disagree and I disagree based on
everyone I know and their experience
with it and the content that I've been
told is in this game. Can't say it from
personal experience though. So, maybe
once I play it myself, uh, my mind will
change on that because I know I'll be
playing it probably at some point this
holiday. My son wants it for Christmas,
so chances are I'll just borrow his copy
when he's not playing it. He's at school
or whatever. Uh, and I'll check it out.
All right, guys. Thank you so much for
tuning in. I understand a rubber jams
from Nintendo Prime.
Man, let me know. By the way, uh again,
I know I just asked this a handful of
videos. Let me know how the audio sounds
on this one if you like this. Uh I am
actually using a Sennheiser MK.
Sorry, I forgot the name for a second.
So, it's the Sennheiser and I believe
it's the MKH4
or 416. MKH460. This is a really
expensive uh boom style mic, but it's
one that's meant to be closer to you for
higher quality audio. So, it's actually
like right here. I I'm like touching it
right now while I'm not tapping it
literally, but it's like right off
camera. That's the way this mic is meant
to be used or to be a little bit closer.
Um I don't have to talk into it like
crazy like I do with this mic where you
have to be like eating the mic almost to
make it sound good. Um but also I wasn't
liking the wireless audio quality. I
know I made it decent in one video, but
then I couldn't remember the settings I
used in post- editing because the reason
that sounded okay to you guys is because
I did a lot of post- editing audio work
on it and when I went to make my second
video with it with the same microphone,
which is this one right here, uh, I
couldn't remember the settings on the
prior project and then I went back to
the settings on the prior project. I
copied them all. I brought it over to
the new project and I still couldn't
make this mic sound the same video to
video. So, when I have that level of
audio discrepancy uh between recordings,
it means this this is not reliable. This
is not me knocking the World Wireless
Goto. Uh the way I was using it is not
what this was technically intended for.
Also, I did update the firmware and all
that to make sure it's not like that
kind of issue. Uh, so look, I have a lot
of consistency with the Sure SM7B and
hopefully we have a lot of consistency
with this because I've had this mic for
I think about two and a half years now
and I've only used it for a single
video, which is crazy. I wanted my hand
movement back, but I literally already
have the equipment to get it back that
would have kept it, I think, high
quality. I haven't heard the audio to
this. My test recording sounded good. I
don't know. I'll catch you guys in the
next video.
