really talk about that because Nintendo
just dropped two bombshells this
morning. And no, I'm not on camera. Not
camera ready. Got to get ready for PAX
and everything. But, uh guys, I can't
believe that we're talking about this.
Let's just get to what the actual news
is. So, first off, there is a Legend of
Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct on
September 8th, 2026. The official
information, I got this all off Nintendo
today before it was announced on X. It
says, "Tune in September 8th at 7:00
a.m. Pacific for a live stream Legend of
Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct 9.8.2026
presentation. The presentation will last
approximately 30 minutes." And if that
news wasn't exciting in and of itself,
how about this? Uh they also announced a
Direct happening on 9/9, a standard
general Nintendo Direct. So, it says,
"Tune in September 9th at 7:00 a.m.
Pacific for a live stream Nintendo
Direct 9.9.2026
presentation. It'll last approximately
45 minutes." So, we have a massive
45-minute Direct on the 9th. We have a
30-minute Zelda
like Direct happening on the second. It
looks like SwitchForce and others, you
know, while SwitchForce was off on the
dates, there definitely is a dual Direct
presentation happening next week. That
is insane. Nintendo doesn't do this.
They combined Mario and the general
Direct together last September. This
time, they're just going back-to-back
days of goodness to get us so damn hyped
for whatever the hell is going on. So,
oh my gosh, guys. I can't believe that
this is all real.
I'm having a hard time accepting that
this is real. We just talked about this
in a video yesterday, the possibility of
multiple events next week. And I got to
be honest, it felt very, very
far-fetched. I am keeping my voice down
a bit. It's early in the morning over
here. I don't want to wake a bunch of
people up. So, sorry. But,
oh my gosh, guys. I couldn't wait to get
this this video out to you.

Sunday, uh with a bunch of people in
person. And it's going to be wild. And
now we basically know what our topics
are. We're done. The topics are done. We

from PAX, but we have 2 hours to break
down what's happening at PAX and break
down this direct and Zelda craziness.
And by the way, yes, we will be live
streaming the Zelda direct from the
hotel
Tuesday morning. So, that's going to be
really fun. Hopefully, the stream goes
well. We're going to try to make the
Wi-Fi work as best as we can to make it
go well.
And besides that, obviously, I'll be
home. You know, I go home on the 8th, so
I will be home to live stream in direct
the very next day as well. And oh my
gosh, it sounds like I have a very, very
busy couple of weeks ahead here cuz I
have all my PAX content to make for you
guys this weekend. And now I got all
this Nintendo official announcements
happening next week to cover and
obviously get into all the news and all
this stuff that's going to happen from
there. And guys, 30 minutes for the
Zelda direct? That's almost as long as
the Nintendo direct itself. 30 minutes.
You know they're blowing out Ocarina of
Time. You know they got a whole bunch of
other stuff they want to show us since
they're doing it on its own. And then,
damn, a Nintendo direct.

just imagine this. By morning

they're announcing for Zelda stuff cuz
we might see 3D Mario
or Animal Crossing
or more.
We might see brand new IPs. We'll know
likely when the Dust Blows is coming
out.
