Today we're taking a look at the Victor
Solomon Trophies Pack Air Force Ones and
we're going to be comparing these side
by side with the white pair. But first,
we got to unbox these and show you what
the whole experience is like. Oh yeah,
and if you didn't know by now, my name
is DJ and this is the DNA show. As you
can see from the box, you have your
shroud covered in the paisley print with
that metallic finish. Also, you have
that gold Victor Solomon logo with the
Nike swoosh in the center of the lid.
And the same thing on the side corners
and then on the back end, you have your
Nike Air branding. Now, peeling this
drawer open, you're going to see you
have your all over metallic gold finish
on the inside of the box. And then you
have each shoe individually wrapped in
paper and inside of these premium dust
bags. And you'll notice you have your
Victor Solomon logo embroidered in the
center of that. Even with the premium
pull strings, you have a nice lace lock
as well that matches with the shoes. And
this is actually a basketball, which is
really cool. And it's got Victor
Solomon's logo with the Nike swoosh. And
then pulling this open, you'll see the
details are literally all throughout
this entire drop. every single model,
every single color way. They did an
amazing job. Now, this right here, even
with the paper, you got that paisley
print all throughout, similar to what we
saw on the box. And then you'll see
there's actually white paper as well
with a second set of paper. And then
peeling that off, you got the shoe. Oh,
you got the shoe. Now, before we get to
breaking these bad boys down and going
over all the details and everything, you
know, we got to go over the history
first. If you've been paying attention
to the sneaker world this year, you
probably heard the name Victor Solomon.
But what makes his Nike collaboration so
special is that it didn't start with
sneakers. It actually started with art.
Born in the Boston area and having a
passion for basketball as a kid, Victor
Solomon then moved to Los Angeles and
built his reputation by transforming
basketball into fine art. His signature
style combines luxury materials like
stained glass, crystal, bronze, and gold
with iconic basketball imagery. Instead
of treating the game as just a sport, he
turned it into something you would
expect to see at a museum. His literally
balling series quickly caught attention
from collectors, athletes, and
eventually the NBA itself. In 2022,
Victor Solomon partnered with the NBA to
redesign several of the league's
trophies, including the Kobe Bryant
All-Star MVP trophy. He created a new
visual language that blended
craftsmanship with a perspective of
championship hardware. Fast forward to
2026, Nike gave Victor Salomon the
opportunity to bring the same trophy
inspired design language to sneakers.
His first trophy collaboration debuted
at NBA All-Star weekend out in Los
Angeles, and I had a chance to go to the
shoe palace drop and pick up all the
shoes and meet Victor Solomon. There was
only a thousand pairs of the shoes
releasing of each model and they had the
Air Force One, the Air Max 90, and the
iconic foam posit 1. Each shoe
represented a different part of Los
Angeles while incorporating premium
materials, metallic gold accents, chain
laces, and details inspired by
championship trophies. Then came chapter
2, WNBA All-Star Weekend. Victor Solomon
and Nike introduced the all black
version of the Trophies collection with
a darker color palette, but still giving
you the black hardware accents. With him
continuing this story with Nike, it
opens the door for his collaborations to
become a true design franchise. Victor
Solomon's journey has proved that great
collaborations aren't built overnight.
Years of creating meaningful art
eventually led to designing NBA
trophies. And from there, one of the
most unique Nike collaborations we've

the bottom of the shoe, classic to your
all black Air Force One. [laughter] You
got the black outsole there. [gasps]
Wrapping up to the midsole, same thing
here. all black with that with your
arrow branding on the back end of the
heel. Now, going to the upper, this
helps take it away from full all black
energy vibes, but it's still pretty
close. You got a mixture of two
different materials here. A premium
black leather around the front end on
the mud guard, the same thing around the
eye, and the back panel around the heel
covered in this embroidered stitch with
the paisley print on the side panel, the
vamp, and the back end around the heel
tab. Now, one cool hit that I love about
the Air Force One is it has this
multi-dimensional gold metallic swoosh
on the outside and inside of the foot.
And these also come standard with their
gold chain laces, similar to the other
models with the different backboards and
chain link nets from the past. Now, in
the center of the tongue, you're going
to see that same material like you see
on the vamp, but the top end of the
tongue, this is actually going to be
covered in that premium black leather.
And then you got your gold Nike Air
stitched there with your Air Force One
stitched on the back end of the tongue.
Now, the black pair is essentially
identical to the all-white pair. The
only difference is going to be the back
tab. Well, I guess same at the same
time. Technically, if it would have been
flip-flopped vice versa, this would be a
white back tab, but that kind of
wouldn't look good, but I feel like they
did a good job putting the black back
tab on here. I'm not mad at it, but
essentially everything else is the same
on both of these shoes. Now, similar to
the lace lock, like we saw on the dust
bag, you're going to get additional lace
locks here. And then also, you got your
premium flat laces and then the dubre is
that Victor Solomon branding in the
center of that with your gold tips. Now,
the big difference between these two,
like I was talking about, another small
detail is actually on the inside on the
sock liner. If you notice, you have your
all black sock liner here on the black
pair. And then you have your Victor
Solomon logo with the black patch and
the center heel. And then on the white
pair, you'll actually notice you have a
map of Los Angeles. So they use that
inspiration for this white package
during All-Star weekend and put that on
the insoles of all these shoes. And then
the part that is the same is going to be
that Victor Solomon logo in the center
of the heel. These are two shoes that
have been beautifully executed. They did
an amazing job on this drop. But the
question is, which one is better between
these two? because I like both for so
many different reasons. So, as you guys
know, I love to post a poll on my
Instagram story, share all the results
here on the channel, and see what the
people said. So, when it comes to the
white pair from All-Star Weekend, we had
72% of the people chose fire and 28% of
the people chose trash. And I completely
understand it. Again, the Air Force One,
a lot of people love it, but it's not
everybody's favorite shoe of all time
when it comes to the model. I get it.
And overall, they might be scared to
wear it because it might get dirty. I
could understand that, too. Now, when it
comes to the black colorway, 70% of the
people chose fire and 30% of the people
chose trash. Again, very solid, but I'm
not mad at it at all. But I'm also
interested to see, again, how do these
compare side by side? So, for this one,
52% of the people chose the white pair
and 48% of the people chose the black
pair. And honestly, I feel like that's
close to 50 50, but technically it's
not. So, I see where people are going
with it. The white pair might be just a
little bit cleaner, but that black pair,
they're going to look so good rocking
them a lot more often. So, I don't know.
It's I feel like it's a situational
thing. It might be dependent on that as
well. Either way, I'm happy to have both
in my collection. So, now that you guys
