Video summary
Scott Cawthon has officially confirmed that a new Five Nights at Freddy's collaboration is imminent, with overwhelming evidence suggesting that Freddy Fazbear and his animatronic friends will finally be joining the Fortnite universe. This exciting development comes after a viral teaser post from Scott Games, which reignited intense speculation among fans who had long desired this crossover. While there were earlier hints like the "Survive the Night" code name that turned out to be for a different game, the current context points directly to Fortnite. The timing aligns perfectly with Chapter 7 Season 4, Overwrite, a season dedicated entirely to video game characters and running through Fortnitemares, Fortnite's annual Halloween event known for featuring licensed horror IPs like Poppy Playtime. Given the massive success of previous collaborations such as Dead by Daylight and the high demand from vocal fans, it seems Scott Cawthon has finally decided to take the leap after years of hesitation regarding brand integrity.
Despite past comments where Scott stated he was not pursuing collaborations at that time, his stance has evolved significantly over the last few years. He has explained that while he remains careful to protect the unique atmosphere and identity of FNAF, he is now more open to partnerships that respect the source material's dark tone, citing Dead by Daylight as a successful example where the game mechanics matched the horror aesthetic. The video highlights that even within official spin-offs, the brand has experimented with various styles, but the key factor for a Fortnite partnership is ensuring the experience feels authentic. With Epic Games treating other beloved IPs like Alien and Poppy Playtime with great care, it appears Scott has seen how beneficial these collaborations can be and is ready to bring his iconic characters to the battle royale without compromising the gritty feel that fans expect.
The most concrete evidence supporting this theory lies within the Fortnite map itself, where a newly constructed building near Pac-Man Island bears a striking resemblance to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza from the recent movie. The structure features identical architectural details, including the sloping green roof, twin pillars, parking lot, and an interior layout with a central stage and dining area that mirrors the film's setting. Although currently under construction and lacking specific security office elements, the building is clearly intended to be developed into a dedicated FNAF point of interest. Fans speculate that this location could eventually host mini-boss fights, unlock mythic items upon defeat, or serve as a hub for animatronic sprites and sidekicks like Adventure Freddy, offering players a unique way to interact with the franchise within the game's ecosystem.
In conclusion, the convergence of Scott Cawthon's recent teasing, the thematic fit of the current Fortnite season, and the physical presence of a movie-accurate building on the map makes a FNAF x Fortnite collaboration almost certain. While the specific cosmetics remain a topic of debate, with fans hoping for animatronic skins, human characters from the movies, or perhaps even the Glamrocks band members, the potential for diverse content like back blings and interactive stages is vast. The hype surrounding this potential release has already driven Scott's latest tweet to become his most liked ever, signaling that the wait is finally over. As the season progresses and the new building gets further developed, players can expect a major event that will bring the world of Five Nights at Freddy's into the vibrant chaos of Fortnite, fulfilling years of fan requests and marking a historic moment for both franchises.

the details are pointing to Freddy and
the gang finally joining Fortnite. So,
if you're excited for this possible
Fortnite and FNAF collaboration, scroll
down, subscribe to the channel. I'm
going to be giving you guys all of the
details, the reasons why we think this
is going to be FNAF Fortnite and any
future teasers, of course, we're going
to be breaking down those as well. So,
make sure to subscribe to stay
up-to-date with everything going on with
FNAF. So, this is the official teaser
from Scott that we got recently. We got
it a couple days ago. I'm late cuz my
channel got deleted. Please subscribe. I
just got my channel back. But, this post
went absolutely viral. It is now the
most liked and most retweeted post by
FNAF Scott Games. And so, of course,
fans were theorizing like crazy. Oh my
gosh, what if it's Minecraft? What if
it's a Roblox game? A lot of people were
asking for Sonic Cross Worlds for some
reason. But, actually, Fortnite is the
most likely option and it's for a lot of
reasons. Fans have been asking for FNAF
in Fortnite for years and we've gotten a
ton of close calls in the past with
hints and teasers that we thought were
FNAF-related. And especially quite
recently, a couple weeks ago, because
there was the code name Survive the
Night found as a teaser for the upcoming
Fortnite season, which is of course
something you do in FNAF. Though, it is
also a lot of things that happen in
other games as well. And the Survive the
Night teaser actually turned out to be
for 99 Nights in the Forest, which
actually brings us to this newest
Fortnite season, Chapter 7 Season 4,
Overwrite, which is entirely themed to
video games and features some truly
iconic gaming characters. You got Sonic,
you got Pac-Man, Mega Man, Crash
Bandicoot, Spyro, Sora from Kingdom
Hearts, Joker from Persona, and even a
ton more gaming collabs on the way like
League of Legends. And it's also worth
noting that this video game season
that's happening right now will run
through Fortnitemares, which is
Fortnite's annual Halloween event that
introduces a ton of licensed horror
characters. And last year's
Fortnitemares had an absolutely stacked
lineup. You got Scooby-Doo, Ghostface,
Jason, Black Phone, Terrifier,
Wednesday. But I think most importantly,
it had a couple indie games as well with
Repo and Poppy Playtime. And I think it
drummed up a lot more hype and demand
for FNAF in Fortnite. And so I think
with this current season being video
game characters and Fortnitemares
running through it, this is just way too
good of an opportunity to pass up. I
know a lot of people are going to bring
up Scott's past comments on FNAF
collaborations. Actually, Scott said
FNAF is never coming to Fortnite, so
touche. Although, contrary to popular
belief, Scott has never said no to FNAF
in Fortnite. In 2021, Scott made a
Reddit post saying, "No collabs for now,
including Fortnite or Fall Guys,
focusing on solo FNAF projects this
year." And of course, in that comment,
he says "for now" and "focusing on FNAF
projects this year." So very clearly,
that statement is like of the times. It
doesn't reflect on current time, 5 years
later. Although, most recently, 2 years
ago in Dawko's interview, Scott makes it
clear that he is still being very
careful with collaborations to make sure
that FNAF still feels like FNAF and to
protect the brand integrity.
>> I'm very careful with collaborations
because I want to protect the brand and
I want to make sure that Five Nights at
Freddy's stays as Five Nights at
Freddy's. And there are some games where
even if I really enjoy the game, it just
doesn't feel like a
it doesn't feel like a good match. It
feels like a it feels like a mismatch.
The brand integrity is the most
important thing for me and keeping
everything feeling [music] like it
belongs. And so that's really been my
only
that's really been my only only
hesitancy.
I feel I feel like I am
branching out a little bit and I am a
little bit more open to those things
than maybe I was in the early years, but
I'm still very careful about it. We'll
just see we'll we'll see how things go.
>> And I think it's for that reason that he
picked Dead by Daylight for FNAF.
Especially when it comes to a character
like Springtrap who's super dark and
violent. The character already is pretty
bloody and gory, so putting him in Dead
by Daylight just makes sense. They also
added in a lot of FNAF's gameplay with
like jump scares and the security doors
and the cameras, which is actually a
very similar thing that they did with
Funko Fusion, another FNAF collab. They
made the FNAF level in Funko Fusion
match the atmosphere and gameplay of
FNAF, which shows that Scott is more
open to collabs, even if the overall
game itself is Funko Fusion, which
absolutely does not fit FNAF at all.
Although, if we're talking about brand
integrity, you're not even safe from
your own game, Scott. When in official
FNAF spin-off games, we have NSFW Island
and jiggle physics toy Chica and anime
Bonnie. Like, what are we doing here?
Even the American Dream Mall is a pretty
major FNAF collaboration, so again, does
seem like Scott is opening up more to
the possibility of other collabs. A
real-life pizzeria is something that
Scott would have never have done years
ago. If you recall the build-up to the
10th anniversary collab reveal, there
were so many people begging for
Fortnite. I'm sure that was a big like,
oh my gosh, there are so many people who
want this, cuz that was probably the
most vocal FNAF fans have ever been for
that collab. So, I think seeing all the
hype and reactions that day to the
possi- even just the possibility of FNAF
and Fortnite, and then also how
successful that collaboration was with
Dead by Daylight. The announcement was
Dead by Daylight's most liked tweet
ever. It set the record for the peak
player base on Steam when it released.
And even just the tease of another
collab, not even an announcement, is
again now Scott's most liked tweet of
all time. I really wouldn't be surprised
if over the past 2 years at least, Scott
has seen how much people want FNAF and
Fortnite, and with how open he is now to
more collabs. After seeing how
successful and beneficial it can be, and
also probably how Epic treats other IPs
like Poppy Playtime and Alien, IPs that
we know Scott loves to death. It feels
like he's finally bit the bullet on a
FNAF Fortnite collab, the golden scar
bullet. And so, not only did this collab
teaser just so happen to be posted on
the very first day of the new season,
there is also a major piece of evidence
on the brand new Fortnite map that I'd
say is pretty damn concrete evidence
that this collab is Fortnite. And so,
welcome to Fortnite. As you can see, we
got my buddy Miles Tails Prower. And so,
hopefully pretty soon, in a couple
months maybe, in this lobby you'll
actually be able to see Freddy and the
gang. And now, I said that there was
something on the new map that pretty
heavily implies that FNAF is coming to
Fortnite, so allow me to show you. Or
should I say, do you want the house
tour? So, if you're looking at the
Fortnite map right up here by the
Pac-Man Island is going to be this
building right here. We're actually
going to fly right over it. So, this
building right here is one of the main
reasons why a lot of people think the
collab is going to be Fortnite. Because
if you actually compare this building to
the building in the FNAF movie, it's
pretty damn identical. You got the
parking lot right out front, the two
pillars on each side of the building,
the green roof that slopes up into a bit
of a pointed top. Of course, you got the
main doorway right in the middle, and
then actually it gets even more crazy
once you go inside into this big open
area, maybe could be used as a dining
area, and also this stage right here. I
mean, come on, guys. The second you walk
in, you're in a big dining area, or at
least like a big open room right now,
and then there is a stage right dead
center.
This place is probably going to be
contested cuz a lot of people are
heading here to to check out FNAF in
Fortnite, by the way. Stay away from my
FNAF.
Yeah, so I will say the layout is not
identical to FNAF. Obviously, you got
the the outside, which looks Again, I'll
say I think spot-on to the FNAF movie.
You walk inside, big empty area, show
stage right up there. Over here would
normally be like the bathrooms and such,
but it's just like a work in progress
building, which I will say they do have
a while still until Fortnitemare, so I
think over the next several weeks, I
think we're going to see this building
get more and more developed into Freddy
Fazbear's. There's no real security
office, there's like a bunch of pizza
around, so it's obviously not one-to-one
with FNAF, but I mean, come on, guys.
Like this is this is pretty spot on. I
don't know. You got Freddy and the gang
up here. You can make him do some party
hips. It does bring up the question like
what kind of skins do you think we're
going to get? Oh, the storm is coming
in, but like here's the kitchen area.
Cuz I would assume one of the main
reasons why Scott wouldn't want FNAF in
Fortnite is because he maybe wouldn't
want like Freddy Fazbear holding a gun
or hitting the gritty, but also I do
think he knows that if we don't get
animatronic skins, I think Scott knows
the fans going to be pretty upset,
right? So like maybe we're going to get
like the humans from the movies. I know
Josh Hutcherson's a big Fortnite fan.
I'm sure he would love to have his own
skin in the game. You also can do so
much more with a collab. Like that
little stage that was up there, you can
totally have the animatronics just like
constantly doing a little show. Brand
new to Fortnite are like these sprites
right here that I just so happen to
find. So maybe we can get like some
Freddy animatronics as the sprites. You
can also have like a little sidekick.
Like how cute would it be to have like a
little mini Freddy, like Adventure
Freddy or Helpy running around with you?
Like obviously FNAF fans' number one
want are the animatronics as skins or
like some human characters as skins. You
could do the Glamrocks as well. I feel
like the Glamrocks fit kind of the style
and look of Fortnite better. I feel like
they'd fit more in than the classics.
Sometimes for like bigger
collaborations, Fortnite does like a
mini battle pass. So I think there's
absolutely going to be enough hype if
they want to do something like that and
have just a bunch of rewards and
cosmetics for FNAF. Also worth noting
that POI up here is a landmark. So it's
a little mini like point of interest. Oh
my god, no way. Gold shadow sprite. Yo,
this is this is crazy. Yeah, this little
landmark right here is like a dedicated
space on the map. So, you could have
like a dedicated FNAF point of interest
that has like a mini boss fight. And
when you defeat the boss, you get like a
super powerful like FNAF mythic item or
something. I did also see a few people
be like, "Oh, what if this little map
right here is just like Fortnite doing
their own version or like a parody of
FNAF?" I guess it's possible, but again,
I feel like with Scott teasing a brand
new collab the same day the season
drops, it's just way too much of a
coincidence. And also, I'm sure Epic
would get a lot of like pushback for
something like that instead of getting
the real deal. Although, that did just
happen recently with Minecraft, so who
knows? Maybe that's not past them.
Nice.
>> [laughter]
>> All right. Oops. Yeah, that's how I
feel. Anyways, sorry. I got too invested
in the Fortnite. But yeah, honestly, I
just really think that this collab is
going to be Fortnite. I think it's
finally time. I think Scott has seen the
hype for it. It just makes so much sense
with the gaming season running into Fort
Nightmares. The Scott Games Twitter
account literally teasing a brand new
collab the same day that Fortnite drops
this new season and the same day there's
a new building that looks pretty spot-on
to Freddy Fazbear's from the movie. Even
if it's not skins, which I do really
hope we get, I think there is a lot of
potential that you can do with more
cosmetics like back blings, sprites,
sidekicks, locations, boss fights, that
kind of stuff. But I'd love to know your
thoughts. Do you think we're finally
getting FNAF in Fortnite? What kind of
skins are you hoping to see in terms of
animatronics or humans? What kind of
cosmetics do you think we're going to
get? Want to thank you guys for letting
me yap so much about FNAF in Fortnite,
and I'll see you all on the flip side.
Goodbye.
