Ndiaye To Manchester City | Richy Deal Off? | Balogun In Beto Out? | Everton Transfer Latest
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The transfer window is set to close tomorrow, bringing a flurry of activity as clubs finalize deals in the final hours. The most significant development involves Ilman Jai, who appears to be moving to Manchester City after an initial agreement with Tottenham fell through. Reports suggest the deal will involve approximately 65 million pounds, potentially including add-ons, which is higher than the 60 million originally expected by Spurs. While there was speculation about Arsenal's involvement, it seems Jai prefers leaving Everton over joining Tottenham, and a medical at Manchester City is scheduled for the morning. This departure marks a sad but inevitable chapter for the club, as Jai was always destined to leave, though the financial compensation will help offset the loss of a key player.
Meanwhile, the situation regarding Richard Allison remains uncertain and complicated by recent social media statements from the player himself. Allison has expressed frustration that his future decisions have been made by others rather than himself, hinting at unresolved issues with his return to Everton despite existing contracts with Tottenham. The narrative suggests that while some believed a reunion would be straightforward, Allison is demanding specific terms or compensation before agreeing to come back. Consequently, the likelihood of him joining Everton is currently up in the air, especially if Jai's move to Manchester City proceeds as planned, which might reduce the pressure on Spurs to sell immediately.
Other potential signings and departures are also shaping up for the deadline day. Jack Leish is expected to return to the club via a loan deal separate from the Jai transaction, though details are still emerging. On the incoming front, Balogun from Monaco has been linked with a fee around 40 million euros, although this figure may be an alternative option rather than a confirmed deal. Additionally, there are complications involving Kenny Tete and Andre Ratu, where Fulham's unwillingness to play a release clause or sanction issues have stalled the transfer, leaving Tete's future uncertain. Meanwhile, Beto is in Florence for his medical with Fiorentina, meaning Everton might need to secure two new players if both Beto and Jai leave, though the club may also look at other positions like left-back given Adam's loan move to Malaga.
As the deadline approaches, all parties are essentially playing a high-stakes game of poker, waiting for others to blink before making final moves. The host notes that while he is on holiday, the rest of the team will be live from 11:00 tomorrow morning until late into the night to cover breaking news and reactions in real-time. With the window closing at 11:00, fans can expect a busy day of updates as clubs push to complete deals before time runs out. Whether Everton secures new players for their vacant number ten, seven, or nine positions remains to be seen, but the channel will provide continuous coverage to ensure supporters are informed of every swing and roundabout in the final hours of the transfer window.

Welcome to Toffee TV. This is your
transfer update. It is 8:00
on the 31st. Transfer window obviously
shut tomorrow. In 3 hours time, Baz,
John, and James and a host of others
will be doing the 24hour live for
charity. I am not doing it. I am on
holiday. This is my holiday house that
I'm recording this from. But I thought
I'd jump on to give an update of where
we are at the moment. There is a there's
lots going on.
There is uh just seems to be a lot up in
the air at the moment and things are
moving all the time and think Baz did
one of these this morning and from where
he was this morning I think things will
have changed now. So let's get into what
we know exactly. Ilman and Jai, it looks
like he is now on his way to Manchester
City.
Um they had a deal in place
uh that has fallen through and uh they
have come back for Ilman and Jai. Um
it looks like it's going to be more
money than Spears were giving us. It
looks like it's going to be 65 million
pounds. Um, I don't know whether that's
65 all in one all in one go. Not all in
one go is in. We get all at once, but I
don't know whether that's add-ons or
whatever, but 65 million. Spurs were
supposed to be given 60. Um, and
obviously the Valison situation, which
we'll talk about in a moment.
So, it looks like he's going to
Manchester City. I think he's always I
don't think he was sold on going to
Spurs. I think he was just sold on
leaving Everton. um I talked that
Arsenal were gonna come in for him,
but now seems like well it looks like
he's going to Manchester City.
Apparently there's a medical in the
morning to go to Manchester City. So um
yeah, it's it's sad,
but I think we all knew that he was
leaving the football club. Um but it is
it is sad, but
there we go. So money coming in from
him. [snorts] So that that at the moment
looks like it's the only absolute
sort of concrete one
um in terms of a permanent deal.
So that is done. That is done. Um which
is sad. Very sad that we've lost a
really good player, but it is what it
is. Um, in terms of Richard Allison,
it was said earlier that Rich Allison
coming to Everton was not tied into in
Jai, but last night there was starting
to come a little bit of of rumors that
that uh
Allison coming to Everton wasn't
straightforward and and that's being
complicated today by the play himself
who has um gone on social media and
spoken about it. He said he's basically
he said after spend spending the last
few years I decided I would never again
decide my future for myself.
Um some of this might be lost in
translation by the way because it's
being translated. I think that means he
meant someone else doing that. I spent a
lot of time at a time and all of them
happened due to decisions made by other
people. press
um fight retaliation nothing scars me
I've gone through worse things credit he
says it says credits but it might be
credit me always make it clear at all
times that
a minute trip again translation to
another place would also be good for the
club if there is no grease there will
never be any oil like no oil when
everything here was falling apart and
would need me um therefore I hope that
you treat my situation with the same
respect you always have um spares and
for all the people who work with me
during the period. I just don't I just
don't want to decide for myself
if we agree if this is the interesting
part if we reach an agreement between
Spurs and Evan and going back to my team
of my heart. My intention was to return
to the place where I was very happy only
the negotiations were the way people
wanted and it won't be like that.
despite this turmoil, I have a contract
with Spurs and I will be available to
the club. So, I think what he's
basically saying is
other people are trying to do a deal for
him or other people have decided that it
was going to be very very
straightforward to him to come back to
Everton because um because they just
think, oh, well, it's Evan, he'll come
back and there'll be no issues
whatsoever. But I think what he's
basically saying, no, it's not that
easy. if you don't pay me what I deserve
or you know I haven't asked for a
contract uh to leave so therefore I'm
owed this amount of money. Um so we
don't know what's happening with
Charison. Obviously if goes to if goes
to Man City which it looks like then
there'll be less pressure for sort of
Spurs to sell anyway.
Um although it looks like they're
getting Modric from Chelsea.
He has got other deals in the in the in
the in the fire apparently. So So
Richson coming back to Everton at the
moment
is up in the air. It is absolutely up in
the air. So we've got no idea on that
one whatsoever at the moment. It's um
but the player has made that statement.
So we'll have to just see how that one
plays out
in the next um 24 hours or so. Um,
Jack Leish
again that's not tied into the Ini deal
and I think we are where we were with
Jack Leish anyway. I think whatever was
agreed on beforehand which was always
likely for him to come back on transfer
deadline day will probably happen no
matter what. Now um it'll probably be
separate from the entire deal and it'll
probably still be a loan. So
there's no real
there's nothing really being said about
that. I know apart from
apart from the fact that it's separate
um from the ini deal. So they're not
tied together. So but there's no other
real details of what of of of anything
at the moment on that. But I'm sure
that'll um become clearer
tomorrow. um
as obviously will the Ralison situation.
Um Balagan from Monaco. Um
again it was reported 18 million euros
but Monaco one hit more like 40 million
euros. Um
so at the moment there's nothing more on
that I don't think. I think that's where
it was in terms of like news coming out.
I think I don't know whether that was an
alternative as such to Richardson.
Um whether it was a if it was whether
Everton will only press the button on
one of them or whether they want whether
they can get both of them. We'll have to
wait and see. Um but I'm sure Everton
will be Everton with the money coming in
from the deal and having to sign a
player will um mean that'll
I'm sure something will happen tomorrow.
Monaco apparently need to sell. they've
got other players that they want to
bring in as well. Um, and are
I think are sort of happy to sell as
long as they get a good deal. Now,
obviously everyone's playing everyone's
it, you know, everyone's playing poker,
aren't they? Because it's coming to the
last day. They're waiting for everyone
to blink. Um,
so it's obviously once Ever got the
money from Jai, then things might become
a little bit clearer. ever might will
have needed the sale of maybe push
forward on different things. Um Kenny
Tete does
there may be a wrinkle but this might
just be putting two and two together.
Um,
Fulham were bringing in or want to bring
in Andre Ratu Ratu from Rio Ver Valano.
Um,
but they're not willing to play the bio
clause which apparently
or or some there's something not right
with this deal. Put it that way. The
player is very unhappy that it hasn't
been sanctioned.
Whether that holds up Kenny Tete, I
don't know, but I'm just putting it out
there because he is the player they were
replacing him with and it's not done and
there's some kind of issue and the
player is unhappy that it hasn't been
signed off. So, just putting that out
there. Betto is in Florence to do his
medical for Florentina. So, that's
another one where that will probably be
waited to sign off on that when we've
got his replacement. Whether that's
Balagon, whether that's Richardson,
whether it's both cuz obviously if Betto
goes and Ninjago then really we should
be getting two in but Greish will be
seen as one of them. Will there be three
for two? Well, David Moyes said he
wanted more players. So you would you
would imagine that he would be looking
at it that way. Um one deal that has
been done is Adam's gone to Malaga. He's
gone on loan for the season to get game
time in. Um, and hopefully
that helps him uh get into the team or
start pushing for the team. That would
probably mean we need a backup, another
left back, but it doesn't look like
we're going for another left back at the
moment. So,
so there you go. At the moment, it looks
like
we're going to be very, very busy
tomorrow. Very, very busy. It's 11:00
deadline. Don't forget um we'll be I say
we, it won't be me. Um we'll be on all
day. Well, we'll be on from 11:00.
Again, I don't mean me personally. I
mean the channel will be on from 11:00.
Uh where all the lads will be covering
it for 24 hours. So, the idea of Baz at
10:30 tomorrow night um with about with
no sleep for two days will just be
incredible. Incredible. television, I
would say. Um, make sure you're
watching, but it'll be on during the
night as well, all night. So, if you
can't sleep or things break, that's
where they'll be breaking. You'll find
it out straight away. So, um, or
obviously if you're not in the UK, you
might be in America, you might be in
Asia, you might be wherever you are,
Australia, this will be perfect. You can
watch Basil through the night doing
whatever they're doing. Uh, breaking
news, playing quizzes, whatever it is.
make sure you are with us from 11:00
again, not me. Um,
so and whatever happens tomorrow, the
lads will be breaking it. The lads will
be on all day tomorrow. So, they'll be
breaking all the stories or having all
the reaction or whatever the swings and
roundabouts of the of the day are.
They'll be there. So, um,
yeah, I'm just double checking to see if
anything else is broke. Um,
yeah.
So, yeah. So, Ilam Jai
Ilman Jai apparently it's 60. Okay. So,
apparently Ilami just just got like
update right now. Ilman Jai is 60
million plus 5 million on add-ons. Um
player wants to move to City rather than
Tottenham because of and obviously City
have missed out on Kodi Gakpo. Jack Gish
is separate to Jai
but Villa might be interested as well
but he's obviously said he wants to sign
for Everton. Adam news gone to Malaga on
loan. Betto is in Florence. He's having
his medical. We've seen the videos of
that. Uh Richardson's
putting stuff on social media that he's
obviously not being treated the way he
wants to be treated and Balagan,
we'll find out tomorrow. Well, we we
will find out tomorrow what is going on.
So,
so it looks like the number 10's going
to be vacant. The number seven is still
vacant. The number nine is going to is
vacant. And uh we'll see what happens
tomorrow whether any of those numbers
uh get new players to wear them
tomorrow. And uh you'll find out on
Toffee TV. So make sure you check it
out. Nice one for
watching. I'm going to go back and enjoy
my holiday. Nice one. See you later.
