Natasha Denona CONCEALER Lip Collection...no, this isn't a joke.

[music] Concealer lips are back. At least according to Natasha Denona. Now, this was absolutely a collection for the millennials. We all remember the concealer lips of the 2000s, the early 2000s. I remember trying to get the look by literally putting concealer on my lips. And now here we are full circle with a concealer lip collection. [laughter] I honestly can't believe it. And I can't believe how interested I was in it. I'm not going to lie. I feel like we've been getting the same lip products, the same lip colors coming out over and over and over again. So, like anything different. And this looks like it's going to be different. I've been wanting some nudes. I want to see exactly how nude we're talking. So, I was lucky enough to receive the whole concealer lip collection in PR. I was going to buy it all anyways. So, the timing worked out with that. Uh, and in this collection, there are four My Dream lipsticks. It's that my dream collection formula. and four high gloss milky tinted gloss balms. And there's only four shades, so there's one of each formula. Now, this collection is a complete online exclusive limited edition collection, I'm sure, because the concept, let's be honest, it is a little bit out there. So, if you want it, you probably do have some time. But these aren't going to come into store, which is why I'm doing this video for you. Now, when I was watching some of Natasha Denona's videos on this, she of course started off with a smokey eye because what else would you pair concealer lips with? I used the new Natasha Denona I need a cool palette, of course. So, I will put the tutorial towards the end of this video. Let's talk lip liners to put underneath these products because if I were to just put them like raw on my lips, it wouldn't look good. It is not the early 2000s anymore. If you want to make concealer lips look good, you can. You need a lip liner. So, I pulled four ones that I thought would work really well with these shades. These are all the Natasha Denona lip crayons. So, number one, we have the shade Natasha, a nice neutral mauve from the I need a nude lip crayon line. This is Dana, which I might use. I think it's the most brown. And the undertones of these could completely change the way the lips look. Alana, a little bit more pinky. mauve. You know what? This one is a good one. This is Cleo. That's a good one to use, too. I think to keep everything balanced, I'm going to use the shade Dana just along the outskirts very lightly today. Some other recommendations that I have would be biscuit from Westminatilier, contour from Pat McGrath, what's the one from Charlotte Tilbury? Why am I blinking? Iconic nude from Charlotte Tilbury. That's another good one. And these would all look good with a really nice intense liner. I'm going to keep it soft though so it doesn't change the color too much so you can see how they truly look. So just a very lighting. Let's start off with the swatches. Now in the collection there are four lipsticks which are the My Dream Collection lipstick formula which are very very creamy. These are $29 each. And then for $28 each, they're the high gloss milky formulation. So, this is a new formula from Natasha Denona that launched this year. And I think these ones are a little bit more sheer. So, this is vanilla swirl. Has a nice light sweet scent to it. So, vanilla swirl I think has like a neutral pink tone to it. Here's the lip gloss. a little bit lighter and brighter. This is peach milk. Definitely much more concealer lippy with a peachy tone to it. Going to give a complete different effect. Peachy Milk lip gloss. This one seems like the most nude, like very KKW. This is soft serve. Ooh, I'm excited for this one. Extremely nude. And then lastly, we have Milky Way, which the tones of this. Sorry, my bonus here. So, I want to get good swatches. This is like a taupey mauve. Then, Milky Way gloss. Now, these are very, very nude. I don't know how these are going to look on a deeper complexion. I'm going to leave that up to the deeper skin creators, but you let me know your thoughts. First, I'm going to swatch the lip glosses alone just so you can see their pigmentation. And then I'm going to swatch the lipsticks and then layer the gloss over top so you can see the combo. So, I'll go in the order that I swatch these. Vanilla swirl high gloss first. Hey, these are pretty on their own. You do have to worry about them looking a little bit patchy because of the nature of the color. So, make sure they're spread evenly. But it has a nice tint of color. And this formula is very hydrating. And it's a little thick and sticky, but not in a way that's uncomfortable, just in a way that is going to help improve wear time. And then I really do notice with these that they are hydrating. Peach Milk High Gloss. What do you think? Do those two look different enough for you? I think this one's a little bit more flattering on me and my complexion if I was to wear it bare. Prettier than I thought on my own, but definitely think I'm going to prefer it with the lipstick. Soft serve, the nudest nude today. This is going to definitely be for the cool tone girls. Subtle difference from the others. And then Milky Way, our deepest option. You know, this one is also pulling quite gray on me. So again, cool tone girls. Very pretty. I do think on myself, peach milk was probably the most flattering. I can see the subtle differences from shake to shade, but I definitely don't know that you'd need all of the lip glosses. Let's have some fun with the lipsticks now. Let's do vanilla swirl. And these are buildable colors, so you can get just a light touch or you build up the pigment. I don't know if you can see, but it does have a shiny finish. You see, you need that lip liner, but Vanilla Swirl lipstick, I love it, and it's perfect with the smokey eye. Okay, let's do vanilla swirl gloss over top, which is a bit lighter, but and these smell good by the way. They aren't chemically smelling like the first batch of these ever made. So fun. I love this. Peach Milk. This one has that more obvious peachy tone. If you have a warm undertone to your skin, I definitely think I like the first one, Vanilla Swirl, a little better than this. I liked the gloss individually on its own the best on me, but it's all about the lip liner. you pair it with. So, I had such a sheer layer down, but if I build up the intensity, could absolutely make this one work. But I am feeling vanilla swirl a little bit more. Soft serve is next. I'm excited to see this one cuz this is true concealer lip. So, it's the best way to utilize a color like this, by the way, is mixing it or putting it mostly just in the center of the lips. So, you It's beautiful with like a deeper color and then popping this right on top of the center of the lips. I only put on a little bit of this because it would definitely lean way too concealer lip looking if I did anything more and really dress this up with a lip liner as well. This one is intense. It is. I definitely needed that outer lip liner. Let's do some gloss. But what do you think? It did need a little bit of finger blending to make it look nice and even. If I had built this up too much, probably would have been too much. But with a smokey eye, you guys, concealer lips are back. All right, final color, Milky Way. See, it has a more taupey tone to it. kind of grayy grunge. So that's the lipstick. And then Milky Way gloss kind of gives a cement vibe. Definitely for a more grungy kind of look. I mean, obviously it goes with what I'm wearing today. Definitely not an everyday color for me, but so different. So fun than the colors that we've been getting. I am I'm loving this. I think it's so fun. Oh, and also the look for today, like I said, I did use the brand new I need a cool palette for Natasha Denona because this is kind of the ultimate smokey eye palette. So, it's perfect to go with these lipsticks. So, all I did today is I just took some of Cube and that was my crease shade. I blended that all over, kind of smoked it out a little bit, and then I went in with the shade Nimbus in the outer corner and I mixed it in with a little bit of Cove. So, I used this combo for the outer part of my crease. I kind of put it a little bit on the outer half of my eyelid as well, and just left that really well blended. And then I used shale, which is more of a satin shade, and I put that right in the middle of my eyelid because I knew I was going to have something much more shimmery on the inner part. So, I wanted it to be that bridge towards the matte outer corner. And then I went in with my finger. I applied Sterling. And that's what's all in the inner part of my eyelid. And then I just kind of lightly blended it out all over. I took a blending brush just to soften everything. And then for the lower lash line, I used a gray eyeliner and smoked that out. So that's what you're seeing first. And then to smoke it out, I used shale and just a tinge of cove. And that is what is lining my lower lash line. And it's been a while since I've done a good true smokey eye. And I'll be honest, an update on this palette. I haven't wanted to reach for it a lot just because it's very, very smokeoky. It's very cool. There haven't been a lot of opportunities on the daily that I've wanted to reach for this, but maybe with this concealer lip collection, I'm going to pick it up more because the formulas are beautiful. Don't get me wrong, it's just not a color. It's a vibe, right? I have to be in the mood for a really gray smokey eye, and today was perfect for that. And those are all of the new colors for the new concealer lip collection from Natasha Denona. I had a lot of fun with them, and I think they're very pretty. It's definitely a more modern take on the concealer lips, hence the different undertones to it, but the idea is there and I'm just excited. It's something different. It's different than the lip colors that we've been getting. I think the gloss formulas are nice. I prefer the main line of gloss colors since these are a little bit more sheer. I think maybe picking up one or two, but you probably don't need all four. As far as the lipsticks go, they're a beautiful creamy formula. And I'm not saying you need all four, but if you love like a nude concealer lip vibe, if you liked what you saw today, especially when you start pairing it with different lip liners and mixing and blending, I think that these lipsticks are going to be surprisingly versatile. I'm all for this. I think this is an amazingly fun collection. This is what I'm talking about. Natasha Denona, this is exactly the kind of collection she would do. It's fun.
