Video summary
The speaker opens by addressing a severe crisis facing the anime reaction community, describing an ongoing campaign led by a group known as "Remove Your Media" that is systematically issuing copyright strikes against creators. He shares his personal experience of receiving three strikes overnight, one of which was for reacting to a commentary video rather than original footage, highlighting the absurdity and unfairness of the situation. The speaker notes that this entity, often associated with Eric Green, has been aggressive for over a decade, targeting not just reaction channels but also Etsy sellers and convention artists, effectively using the copyright system as a weapon to silence content creators regardless of fair use laws.
The video details the devastating impact on various high-profile reaction channels, including Call Joe Ed, Rice and Ginger, and others who have seen dozens of videos removed and accumulated numerous strikes within a short period. The speaker emphasizes that these attacks are not limited to specific anime like Bleach or Jujutsu Kaisen but extend to commentary videos and even video game trailers, suggesting a coordinated effort to shut down the entire genre of reaction content. He expresses deep frustration with YouTube's automated systems and lack of human oversight, noting that creators are living in constant anxiety, checking their phones and emails repeatedly for notifications that could lead to channel deletion within seven days.
Furthermore, the speaker argues against the notion that this is a legitimate copyright enforcement issue, pointing out that many strikes appear to be false claims designed to force creators into paywalls or silence them entirely. He criticizes the behavior of certain commenters who defend these strikes based on a misunderstanding of fair use, asserting that two decades of successful reaction content proves the practice is legal and protected. The speaker calls for unity among creators to support one another through Patreon and other means while urging viewers not to let fear dictate their consumption habits or to blame individual creators like himself for the broader industry-wide crackdown.
In conclusion, the speaker frames this as a fight for the survival of reaction content and the livelihoods of thousands of creators who have built careers on the platform over the last twenty years. He warns that without intervention, many channels may be permanently removed, potentially leading to a future where only paid content remains accessible to audiences. Despite the uncertainty and the aggressive tactics employed by the opposing group, he resolves to continue using his platform to speak out against what he views as an unjust attack on creative expression, hoping that the community can find a solution before the industry is completely dismantled.

The React apocalypse is upon us.
I'm going to try to keep this video
civil, respectful, and low. Not my loud
usual self. I'm going to keep this
professional. I want you to take a look
at this email right here that I got last
night. I got a copyright strike for
three videos. Two videos were related to
Oshino Co season 3. If you ask me, I
completely forgot about Oshino. That's
how long ago it was. Oshino Co is an
anime. I understand we get stried for
anime reactions. You know, sometimes the
companies don't want us to react to
their anime. Blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah. What I find funny is
this one right here. So, I watched a
redo of healer reaction. Now, you see a
title like that. What do you think? You
think I'm probably going to be watching
redo of Healer, right? Watch that first
video right there. Look at that first
video. What is that? CJ de Champ.
>> Okay, so boom. I got this big ass gizz.
This is what I reacted to and it got me
a copyright strike. So, I found that
hilarious that I got a strike for
reacting to a commentary video for an
anime. So, because there was an anime in
the title, it triggered whoever it is.
We know who it is. It triggered them to
then send a copyright strike my way.
Japan Creative Content Alliance LLC. Oh,
and what do you know? What's below that?
Removeyourmedia.com.
It's our good old friends over at the
[ __ ] Walmart. And if you don't get
that joke, remove your media. This is
their address. It's literally a Walmart.
Oh, and by the way, this is their phone
number. So, anyways, let's stop making
this about me. All right, it it's it's
part of a much larger picture, right?
Because last night, all of the reaction
channels were in Discord just talking
about this. We were getting hit after
hit after hit. Call Joe Ed anime uh uh
Rice and Ginger Flex Eyee Jay like name
after name after name. We were getting
hit after hit after hit. So let's start
with this one right here. Shout out to
Call by the way. How is it possible for
scammers to abuse your copyright system
to disagree? 63 VIDEOS SO FAR. TAKE IT
DOWN. 13 copyright strikes. That's EDP's
favorite number. So imagine looking at
this in real time. 60 videos were
removed. Imagine waking up to that, bro.
I'm about to see my parents for the
first time in months today. Well, watch.
I'm going to be hugging my dad and I'm
going to see a notification on my phone.
100 videos removed, man. I'm going to be
hugging my dad for the first time in
months over here appealing a [ __ ]
copyright strike. 63 videos were
removed. And then he made this post
about 13 strikes, zero due diligence.
Your channel will be removed on
September 6. So, he can't even post
right now. Not on his main channel. And
I don't even think he could post on his
second channel because he got stried on
there, too. He got stried for a
commentary video for Kai Sonat because
it was all about Kaisen being a Naruto
larper. It was back when he tweeted
about Naruto and everybody was calling
him a larer and stuff. Call made a
commentary video on it and he got a
strike for it because of the keyword
Naruto. Now I guess the word is
copyrighted now. Most of his copyright
strikes weren't even reactions. There
were commentary videos. So, not only is
commentary getting you a copyright
strike, now I want you to hear this.
What Michelangelo the goat had to say
about this.
>> You're not going to believe this. The
video game
>> The video game got him a goddamn
copyright strike.
>> Bleach Rebirth of Souls character
trailer for new B.
>> And I know they wouldn't copyright
strike him because I was offered a
sponsorship for Bleach Rebirth of Souls.
I don't really play fighting games, so I
wasn't really into doing it. and I don't
want to make a video for it, guys. I'm
lazy. All right, I'm lazy. Even for the
bag, I get lazy sometimes. They want you
to make content about the game. They
want the anime channels to make content
about the game and spread the word of
the [ __ ] game. They want people to
watch the [ __ ] anime. So, it's all
[ __ ] It It's all fake. Viz Media
has nothing to do with this specific
thing because remove your media claims
to work up with Viz Media and
everything. This has nothing to do with
Viz Media. And this was 2024.
This was LIKE 30 YEARS AGO. Rice and
Jinger had to make this community post.
WE WERE HIT WITH 31 COPYRIGHT STRIKES ON
videos and currently fighting that
battle so our channel doesn't get
deleted. So, they can't even post a
video. Ron from Rice and Ginger was
going to make a big update video on his
channel talking about this [ __ ] Now, we
can't because they got 31 copyright
strikes. Speaking of CJ the Champ, he
was going to make a video on Yuaha.
He was going to make a video about him.
And look what happened. He's not going
to do it anymore because of the whole
copyright situation. Yeah, bro. Don't do
it because they copyright strike me for
reacting to one of your videos.
[laughter]
Yo, if I say what I'm thinking right now
about the guy that's copyrighting all of
us. Oh my god. Let's just say watch the
GTA 6 trailer. Look at that's that bro I
na right I now have eight copyright
strikes with 40 videos taken down at
random. You'll notice a lot of creators
being harassed this week. Oh yeah, ED
anime 83 videos taken down. 18 copyright
strikes. He went from 8 to 18, bro.
probably going to have 88 by the end of
the week. So, right now, your favorite
reaction channel if you're into anime
reactions. This isn't about Nicholas
Light. Okay, because I watched a
reaction video for Let me pull it up
real quick. So, we must have taken the
video down. I don't know. I don't see
it. But Joe, Freshest Anime made a video
about this whole situation, reacting to
my video talking about this. My whole
anime reactions are dead video. And his
comments were attacking me. They were
like, "Oh, why are we watching Nicholas
Light? Why are we watching Nicholas
Light? Nicholas Light? He's the devil.
He's Vultivart. Listen up, you piece of
[ __ ] garbage. This isn't about me.
This is about your channel. Your
favorite channel, Joe, over here. This
is about CC call. This is about
Michelangelo, Flexi Jay, Rice and
Ginger, your boy Roshi. This is about
all of us. Don't be a selfish piece of
[ __ ] over here making it about me just
because I'm controversial. Oh. Oh,
Nicholas Slight has a hot take. Nicholas
Slight hated bad animation and One Punch
Man. He's the devil. He's equal to EDP.
He He's equal to Dr. Disrespect. You
stupid stupid [ __ ] reaction
channels are at risk right now. We're
getting mass attacks by Remove Your
Media, the website that you see on the
screen right now. And the guy is
threatening us. He's literally
threatening us if you respond to his
email. Yes. He sends an email if your
appeal goes through. He pretty much
threatens you and says, "We're going to
take legal action against you. $100 to
$50,000." He copy and paste the same
[ __ ] message over and over again for
every single reaction channel. I can't
show the email because it shows a lot of
my personal information. A lot of
creators can't show the email because
when we appeal, our personal information
gets sent to them. So, the guy's using
my real name. The guy's using my phone
number, the county that I live in. He's
using all of my personal information
against me to try to scare me. But
little does he know, I have a team of
lawyers on standby if he chooses to [ __ ]
with me. Right now, it is Monday, August
31st, and I'm working with a bunch of
reaction channels. We're going to come
up with a solution to this real quick.
And let's just say we don't think that
he's going to be bothering us much
longer. Now, I know that sounds crazy,
but I can't really speak on what's about
to happen. You know, if you're a fan of
reaction content, like I said
previously, don't make this about me.
Don't be selfish. Don't go after
Nicholas Light TV because of who I am
and what I've said in the past. I'm over
here using my platform of 1 million plus
subscribers to not only talk about
what's happening to me, but what's
happening to all of these other
channels, no matter what size they are,
because this is [ __ ] wrong. What's
happening right now is wrong. And you
need somebody like me to take a stand on
this because of my gigantic platform.
Bleach is literally ending in two days
or in four episodes or whatever. And
reaction channels can't even share their
excitement. the reaction channels that
y'all give 100,000 200,000 views on, you
can't even watch our reactions unless
you go to Patreon and you pay for them.
Is this where we're headed now? We're
getting to the point where we have to
pay wall where we're going to have to
lock all of our content behind a payw
wall for anime reactions when anime
reactions have been on the platform for
10 plus [ __ ] years now for the ending
of Bleach. Bleach has never been touched
until now. The ending the the the the
very end. And now it's touched. You
know, if you go in their LinkedIn, you
go to people, you can see the three
employees right here. I'm not going to
show their names. One of them is
actually Eric Green. This is Eric Green.
I won't say the other two names. You
could look this up yourself, but these
are the three [ __ ] people to blame
right now. These are the people that are
going after our content to the point
where almost every reaction channel is
at risk right now. This [ __ ]
right here doesn't even want to show his
face. And by the way, the last thing I
want to say about this, there's still
stupid [ __ ] people on the internet in
my comment sections, in the comment
sections on anything related to
copyright strikes on anime reaction
content. There are still stupid
[ __ ] that say, "Well, what
you're doing I is copyrighted material."
That's not the point. He This company,
Remove Your Media, has no right to go
after us. Now, if his media, if they
wanted to go after us, and [ __ ] Kubo,
you know, the creator of Bleach, if they
wanted to come after us, that's one
thing. But this guy has no [ __ ] right
to come after us. And now listen, if he
was just going after Bleach reactions,
right? Like Bleach Thousandear Bloodbor
episode reactions and he was going after
each Thousand-Year Bloodbor reaction for
every single channel, then it would be
like, "Oh, may maybe Viz Media hired
them." But he's going after a Kaisen
commentary video. He's going after Redo
of Healer commentary video reaction that
I did. He's going after Michelangelo's
video reacting to Rebirth of Souls, a
Bleach game that came out years ago.
This is far beyond what he has the right
to do. He has no rights. He's been doing
this for over 10 years. If you look up
Eric Green, there's literally a Google
Drive document. IT'S LIKE 20 PAGES LONG
talking about the history of Eric Green
and his history of attacking anime
content creators for the past 10 plus
years. Not even anime content creators,
even Etsy accounts, people at working at
conventions selling their art. He's been
going after them. His team of like 10
people. You go on Twitter, you can see
something from 2020 where somebody's
talking about CEO Eric Green, remove
your media LLC. Literally 5 years ago,
Etsy Eric Green took down most of my
shop and Etsy won't communicate with me
about getting my items back up. This
guy, Eric Green, and Remove Your Media,
they are relentless. I've said a lot of
crazy [ __ ] in the past 24 hours
privately about this guy and this team
right here, let's just say I want them
to burn in hell. You could be the stupid
ugly [ __ ] dweeb in my comments
section talking about fair use and
copyright strikes. You watch reaction
channels. You watch reaction content.
So, what does that make you? You're just
as much as a criminal as we are by your
own logic. At the end of the day,
reaction content has been a thing for
almost two decades. Why do you think
it's still a thing? Because it's fair
use. We have the right to do it. Why do
you think when we appeal these copyright
strikes and these demonetizations, it's
always in our favor and we always win?
It's because it's allowed. It's because
it's fair use. You could argue this all
day long. Your opinion doesn't [ __ ]
matter. You are factually incorrect.
My livelihood, all of these reaction
channels livelihood for the past almost
two decades proves you wrong. So if you
want to sit there [ __ ] whine and
complain because you're jealous that
reaction channels are making money off
of your hobby, cry to your [ __ ] wall
because it's the only thing that's
listening to you. We shouldn't have to
live in fear that at any moment now.
Like I was literally checking my phone
all day yesterday in not even in fear,
but just like anxiety of like, "Oh yeah,
my channel's going to be threatened. I'm
going to get like 4,000 copyright
strikes. All my content's going to be
removed." And that's what all of these
reaction channels were going through
last night. That's what we've been
dealing with over the past seven days
since the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle
strikes actually, which was over a month
ago. We've we're always checking our
phones, always checking our emails, our
YouTube dashboard to see if we're going
to get a [ __ ] strike. And that's not
right. And I mostly blame YouTube
because I was talking to my wife about
this last night, right? When it comes to
a copyright strike, I think it should be
sent to you and you have like 48 hours
or maybe seven days to respond and then
they decide if you get the strike or
not. We shouldn't all like automatically
get a goddamn copyright strike. Imagine
that. Imagine you have years and years
and years of content, years and years of
[ __ ] work on your platform and then
poof, it's gone. You just get an email.
Your channel subject to removal in seven
days because you got 75 false copyright
strikes by this piece of [ __ ] human
filth. Eric Green. I guess Eric Green's
watching me because of this [ __ ]
green screen behind me. Maybe that's
Eric Green. I'm pretty much talking to
the wall right now because YouTube's
never going to change right now. They're
going through a lawsuit or something or
somebody's filing a lawsuit against
YouTube because a lot of people are
losing their channels right now. Not
even just reaction channels, but just
channels in general. They're losing
their channels from AI. YouTube's using
AI. We already spoke to Patreon, every
single reaction channel, making sure
this guy doesn't go after go after our
Patreons like he did a few years ago. He
went after a bunch of reaction channels
on Patreon. They came together and they
stopped him. And we're doing the same
exact thing right now. But the only
thing is Patreon actually as humans that
care about their creators. YouTube
doesn't. YouTube has the same [ __ ]
since the beginning of [ __ ] time.
They don't have the respect to answer
us. They don't have the respect to give
us an email a word with them. You would
think me, I'm not even saying this
arrogantly, right? You would expect a
channel with 1 million plus subscribers
like Nicholas Light TV to somewhat get
an answer from a human. I get the same
[ __ ] treatment as a channel with five
subscribers, a channel with zero
subscribers, a channel with [ __ ]
negative 10 subscribers. I get the same
treatment. So, don't think I get special
treatment. It's [ __ ] and I'm going
to use my platform to speak about it.
All the channels that I listed today,
that's just the channels that I've
gathered. There's so many more. And I
want you guys to support your favorite
anime channel. Whether that means just
just looking into this whole situation,
showing love in their channels, going to
their Patreon, I know payw walling
content, but it's what we have to do.
The guy's going after our livelihoods.
He's trying to make sure that we cannot
create content anymore. And there's
going to be a day maybe where you see a
bunch of channels get removed. Who knows
if they're going to come back because
YouTube is full of [ __ ] AI and they
don't have the respect to treat their
creators with respect and just give us
an answer. And yeah, man, this is
probably not going to be the last time I
talk about this. Who knows what happens
today. It seems like it's going to be
happening all week long. I hope it does
because we'll just have more and more
and more for this [ __ ] era
