MRS. OCTOBER FINALLY Watches SUPERNATURAL! | 1x1 "Pilot" | First Time Watching | Reaction
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
In this video, Mrs. October and her emotional support husband embark on a solo viewing of the pilot episode of *Supernatural*, marking a significant milestone for the channel as it is the host's first time watching the series. The husband explains that while he grew up loving the show and has seen multiple seasons, his partner had previously been too frightened by horror elements to stay awake during an episode. He expresses confidence that she will now appreciate the series, noting its iconic status in pop culture and its deep roots in his childhood memories of waiting for Thursday night broadcasts. The couple acknowledges the long-term commitment required by the show's extensive run but emphasizes their shared love for it, setting a warm and supportive tone before diving into the reaction.
The episode itself immediately plunges the viewers into a dark mystery centered on the disappearance of Dean Winchester's father, John, who has been missing for several days after investigating a series of kidnappings along a specific stretch of highway in California. The narrative quickly establishes the dysfunctional dynamic between the two brothers: Sam, who is eager to leave hunting behind to pursue law school and a normal life with his girlfriend Jessica, and Dean, who remains devoted to their father's crusade despite the dangers. As they investigate, they encounter local legends about a "woman in white" who haunts roads and waterways, killing unfaithful men and taking their lives. The brothers uncover clues linking these tragedies to Constance Welch, a woman who drowned her children before committing suicide after discovering her husband's infidelity, suggesting a supernatural curse that targets men with unfaithful spouses.
The tension escalates when the brothers realize that John has left Jericho without his journal, which he typically uses to track locations and warn them of danger. They discover coordinates pointing toward Blackwater Ridge in Colorado, prompting Sam to skip a crucial law school interview to help find their father. The situation takes a terrifying turn when they are ambushed by the woman in white, who attacks them with supernatural speed. In a desperate attempt to survive, Sam shoots the ghostly figure in the face, a shocking act that saves Dean's life but leaves him shaken. The episode concludes with the brothers realizing that their father is likely dead or in grave danger, and they must decide whether to continue hunting or retreat to safety, setting the stage for future conflicts involving family curses and supernatural threats.
Mrs. October's reaction highlights both the fear and fascination the pilot evokes, particularly noting how the show's lore regarding mythical creatures and tragic curses immediately captivated her despite her initial hesitation. She reflects on the heavy emotional weight of the mother's death, which serves as the catalyst for the brothers' life as hunters, and expresses concern over the potential curse affecting Sam's lineage given his mother's fate and the similar tragedy that befalls Jessica. Although she admits to feeling scared and finding it difficult to react alone without her husband present, she is genuinely excited about the story's depth and complexity. The video ends with anticipation for the next episode, as the couple prepares to continue their journey through the 326 remaining episodes of the series, eager to see how the brothers navigate the dangers that await them on the road.

All right, guys. So, it's a big day over
here, man. We are finally Well, not we.
Mrs. October.
>> Yeah, you. She's going to be doing a
little solo thing. So, babe, you want to
say what's up to everybody?
>> Yeah. So, basically, I just invited him
because he's my uh emotional support
husband, and it's just good to have
>> emotional support husband.
>> It's just good to have him around. But,
no, it just makes this a less little
less stressful for me since it's my very
first [music] intro to my very first
episode of Supernatural. It's so long
overdue. I feel like I've needed to see
this because every time we watch a show
of any sort, you're like, "Hey, this is
so and so on Supernatural."
>> This show is so culturally iconic, guys.
For sure. So, just super quick, man,
before I get out of here. I grew up
watching the show. Um, I've seen the
first maybe like maybe three or four
seasons, multiple times. I've seen the
series all the way through its entirety,
one time completely, cuz it is a very
long series. [music] Um, and I
absolutely loved it. I had so much fun
with this show. Very iconic to my
childhood. I would wait every Thursday
at 9:00 to watch this thing. Mrs.
October.
>> She's watched a few episodes with me,
guys, here and there because I was
watching it a little bit when we first
got together, like when we were first
dating. I don't think this lady stayed
awake for one episode
>> cuz this is It gave me, first of all, I
didn't really like horror things.
>> Yeah, it scared her.
>> Like I I it freaked me out. But then
secondly, it reminded me of just like
Two Dudes in a Car,
you know, that's not really my type of
show.
>> Two Dudes in a Car is going to turn into
something a lot more beautiful. Trust
that. Mrs. October, you're going to love
this show. This is my personal
recommendation, guys. Um,
>> and it is a long-term commitment,
>> 100%. So,
>> if you guys are watching with me, that's
a long-term commitment, and I love you.
>> And please like the videos, man. Hike
the videos, share the videos, and please
don't forget to drop a comment. I know
it's like a gauntlet of things to ask
out of you guys. But if you do that for
us, man, it really does help spread
these videos out to a lot of people, and
we couldn't do it without you guys'
help. So, thank you so much. Well, guys,
I've saved people, and I've hunted
things before. Mrs. October has not. I'm
really excited to know what you think
about Supernatural. When we watched the
show, I don't even think we watched the
pilot episode, guys, because I had
already watched it. I think we jumped in
like a few episodes into the season one.
And like I said, every episode about 15
minutes in, you'd be knocked out. So,
>> well, and you would also try to show me
things that like I feel like I had to
watch more to even understand.
>> Yeah.
>> I was like, dude, I don't even get why
you're showing me this.
>> Is there anything else that I need to
say before I get out of here? Well,
guys, I will be popping in periodically.
So, um, I'm not going to watch this
intro because my big mouth will end up
spoiling something and I want this to
be, you know, just a fun reaction from
Mrs. October, but I'm going to get out
of here. I will periodically come back
from time to time. Like, I'm probably
going to hang out during the season
finales for sure cuz I really like the
show and I just like to pop in and watch
it sometimes. See what you think.
[music] I will be watching all these
reaction videos, baby. So,
>> that's good.
>> When you fall asleep, I'm going to put
them on and I'm going to go to sleep so
me [laughter] and Py can watch you
react. [music] She gets really happy
when she watches your videos. A
>> All right, guys. Thank you so much for
supporting my wife.
>> Sorry. Love you.
>> Love you.
>> Come on, let's say good night to your
brother.
Night.
>> Good night, love.
>> Hey, Dean.
Hey, buddy. So, what do you think? You
think Sammy's ready to toss around a
football game?
>> You know who, daddy?
>> You got him.
>> I got him.
>> Negan,
>> sweet dream, Sam.
Not creepy stuff in the baby room.
>> John.
[music]
>> John, is he hungry?
Okay.
>> Why did John have an inspector coat on?
>> [music]
>> So that wasn't John.
>> Mary,
where'd she go?
>> Sam's good. Sam's good.
Oh my god.
What the [ __ ]
>> No.
>> Take your brother outside as fast as you
can. DON'T LOOK BACK. NOW, GO.
>> Is this real?
>> Okay,
>> how do you even tell the cops that what
happened?
>> [music]
>> H Why was he looking like that?
>> Sam, get a move on, would you? You're
supposed to be there like 15 minutes
ago. Sam, you coming or what?
>> Do I have to?
>> Yes, it'll be fun. And
>> your costume,
>> you know how I feel about Halloween.
>> So, here's to Sam and his awesome Elsa
victory.
>> All right. All right. It's not that big
a deal.
>> He acts all humble, but he scored a 174.
>> Oh, is that good?
>> Scary good. So there you go. You are a
first round draft pick. You go to any
law school you want.
>> Actually, I got an interview here
Monday. It goes okay. I think I got a
shot at a full ride next year.
>> Hey, it's going to go great.
>> Better. How does it feel to be the
golden boy in your family?
>> No, they don't know.
>> I don't know. I WOULD BE GLOATING. WHY
NOT?
>> CUZ we're not exactly the Bradies.
>> I'm not exactly the Hawk Bulls. More
shots.
>> No, no, no.
>> Seriously, he seems to be and you're
going to knock him dead on Monday and
you're going to get that full ride. I
know it.
>> What would I do without you?
>> Crash and burn. [music]
>> He's spiketheaded.
>> Oh, easy, Tiger.
>> Dean,
>> you scared the crap out of me.
>> It's cuz you're out of practice.
>> Or not.
>> Dean, what the hell are you doing here?
I was looking for a beer.
>> Sam.
>> Jess. Hey, Dean. This is my girlfriend,
Jessica.
>> Wait, your brother, Dean?
>> I love the Smurfs. You know, I got to
tell you, you are completely out of my
brother's league.
>> Just let me put something on.
>> No, no, no. I wouldn't dream of it.
Seriously. Anyway, I got to borrow your
boyfriend here, talk about some private
family business, but uh nice meeting
you. No, no. Whatever you want to say,
you can say it in front of her.
>> Okay. Um
>> I feel like Sam's got to be the
favorite. Yeah. So, he's working
overtime on a Miller time shift. He'll
stumble back in sooner or later.
>> Dad's on [clears throat] a hunting trip
and he hasn't been home in a few days.
>> Jess, excuse us.
>> I mean, come on. You can't just break in
middle of the night and expect me to hit
the road with you. You're not hearing
me, Sammy. Dad's missing. I need you to
help me find him. You remember the
poltergeist in Amherst or the Devil's
Gates in Clifton? He was missing then,
too. He's always missing and he's always
fine.
>> Not for this long. Are you going to come
with me or not?
>> I'm not.
>> Why not?
>> I swore I was done hunting for good.
>> Come on. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't
that bad.
>> Yeah. When I told dad I was scared of
the thing in my closet, he gave me a 45.
>> What was he supposed to do?
>> I was 9 years old. He was supposed to
say, "Don't be afraid of the dark."
>> Don't be afraid of the dark? Are you
kidding me? Of course you should be
afraid of the dark. You know what's out
there.
>> Yeah, I know. But still, the way we grew
up after mom was killed and dad's
obsession to find the thing that killed
her. But we still haven't found the
>> I don't blame him.
>> So, we kill everything we can find.
>> Save a lot of people doing it, too.
>> You think mom would have wanted this for
us? the weapon training and melting the
silver into bullets. Man, Dean, we were
raised like warriors.
>> So, what are you going to do? You just
going to live some normal apple pie
life? Is that it?
>> No, not normal. Safe. And that's why you
ran away.
>> I was just going to college. It was Dad
who said if I was going to go, I should
stay gone. And that's what I'm doing.
[music]
>> Yeah, but dad's in real trouble right
now. If he's not dead already, I can
feel it. I can't do this alone.
>> Yes, you can.
>> Yeah, well, I don't want to.
>> A go with him.
>> What was he hunting? All
right, let's see. Where the hell did I
put that? This is making sense.
>> Why didn't you go with him?
>> I was working my own gig. This uh voodoo
thing down in New Orleans. Dad let you
go on a hunting trip by yourself.
>> I'm 26, dude.
>> All right, here we go. So, dad's
checking out this two-lane blacktop just
outside of Jericho, California. About a
month ago, this guy, they found his car,
but he'd vanished completely in my he
was kidnapped. Yeah. Well, here's
another one in April. Another one in
December 04, 03, 98, 92, 10 of them over
the past 20 years.
>> All men, all the same 5 mile stretch of
road.
>> Started happening more and more. So, dad
went to go dig around. That was about 3
weeks ago. I hadn't heard from him
since, which is bad enough. Then I get
this voicemail yesterday.
>> Dean, something is starting to happen. I
think it's I need to try to work out
what's going on. Be very careful. We're
all in danger.
>> You know, there's EVP on that.
>> Not bad, Sammy. It's kind of like riding
a bike, isn't it? All right, I slowed
the message down and ran into a gold
wave. I got the hiss and this is what I
got.
>> I can never go home.
>> Never go home.
>> You know, in almost 2 years you never
asked you for a thing.
>> All right, I'll go. I'll help you find
him, but I have to get back first thing
Monday. Just wait here.
>> What's first thing Monday?
>> I have an interview.
>> What? A job interview? Skip it.
>> It's a law school interview and it's my
whole future on a plate.
>> Law school?
>> So, we got a deal or not?
>> Wait, you're taking off? Is this about
your dad? Is he all right?
>> Yeah, you know, just a little family
drama.
>> Your brother said he was on some kind of
hunting trip.
>> Oh, yeah. He's just deer hunting up at
the cabin. He's
>> deer hunting.
>> Jim, Jack, and Jose along with him. I'm
just going to go bring him back.
>> What about the interview?
>> I'll make the interview. This is only
for a couple days.
>> Sam, I mean, please just stop for a
second. You sure you're okay?
>> Hey, everything's going to be okay. I
promise.
>> At least tell me where you're going.
Amy, I can't come over tonight. Because
I have work in the morning, that's why.
Okay. I miss it. My dad's going to have
my ass.
>> Hey, uh, Amy, let me call you back.
>> Uh-uh.
>> Car trouble or something?
>> Take me home.
>> Should I get in?
>> Amy ought to have your ass, boy.
>> You coming from a Halloween party or
something?
A girl like you really shouldn't be
alone out here.
She's scaring me cuz she's not saying
anything.
[music]
>> I'm with you. Will you come home with
[sighs] me?
>> Hell yeah.
>> That's where they think their dad is. I
think their dad's smarter than that.
>> Come on. You don't live here.
>> I can never go home.
>> What are you talking about? Who even
lives here? Huh? Where do you live?
>> Was good. Uh-oh.
>> Joke's over. Okay. You want me to leave?
If you're going to walk up there, you
deserve the haunting you're getting.
Just saying.
>> Hello.
[music]
>> Oh god. Oh god. Oh god.
So what? Cuz he took cuz she went to the
house. You
>> want breakfast?
>> No thanks. So how'd you pay for that
stuff? You and dad still running credit
card scams?
>> Yeah. Well, hunting ain't exactly a pro
ball career. [laughter]
>> Besides, all we do is apply. It's not
our fault they send us the cards.
>> Yeah. And what name did you write on the
application this time?
>> Uh B of Frian and his son Hector scored
two cards out of the D. Sounds about
being in a buzz kill.
>> I swear man, you got to update your
cassette tape collection.
>> Why? Well, for one, they're cassette
tapes. And two, Black Sabbath,
Motorhead, Metallica. It's the greatest
hits of mullet rock. House rules, Sammy.
Driver picks the music. Shotgun shuts
his cake hole. I
>> feel like that music makes you drive
fast.
>> Sam. Okay.
>> Sorry, I can't hear you. The music's too
loud.
>> See?
>> All right. So, there's no one matching
dad at the hospital or morg. So, that's
something, I guess. Check it out.
>> I was like, why is he just stopping?
Like, who does that? I would drive off.
I don't want nothing to do with them.
>> YOU GUYS FIND ANYTHING?
>> NO. COPY.
>> No sign of struggle, no footprints, no
fingerprints. Spotless. It's almost too
clean. So this kid Troy, he's dating
your daughter, isn't he?
>> Yeah.
>> How's Amy doing?
>> She's putting up missing posters
downtown.
>> Amy, had another one like this just last
month, didn't you?
>> And who are you?
>> Federal Marshals.
>> Two a little young from Marshalls,
aren't you?
>> Thanks. That's awfully kind of you. You
did have another one just like this,
correct?
>> Yeah, that's right. About a mile up the
road. There have been others before
that.
>> So this victim, you knew him down like
this. Everybody knows everybody.
>> Any connection between the victims
besides that they're all men?
>> No, not so far as we can tell.
>> So what's the theory?
>> Honestly, we don't know. Serial murder,
kidnapping ring.
>> Well, that is exactly the kind of crack
police work I'd expect out of you guys.
>> Thank you for your time.
>> I love how he was quick to show it. He
was like,
>> "What was that? Why you got to step on
my foot? Why do you have to talk to the
police like that? Come on. They don't
really know what's going on. We're all
alone on this. I mean, if we're going to
find Dad, we've got to get to the bottom
of this thing ourselves.
>> Can I help you, boys?"
>> No, sir. We were just leaving. Agent
Moulder. Agent Scully.
Aviators is on to them.
>> Mention that, sir?
>> Yeah.
>> You must be Amy.
>> Yeah.
>> And Troy told us about you. Where his
uncles? I'm Dean. This is Sammy.
>> He never mentioned you to me.
>> That's Troy, I guess. We're not around
much. We're up in Modesto.
>> So, we're looking for him, too, and
we're kind of asking around.
>> Hey, are you okay?
>> Yeah. Do
>> you mind if we ask you a couple
questions?
>> I was on the phone with Troy. He was
driving home. He said he would call me
right back and he never did.
>> He didn't say anything strange or out of
the ordinary.
>> No, nothing I can remember. Here's the
deal, ladies. The way Troy disappeared,
something's not right. So, if you've
heard anything,
>> what is it?
>> I mean, with all these guys going
missing, people talk.
>> What do they talk about?
>> It's kind of this local legend. This one
girl, she got murdered out on Centennial
like decades ago. Well, supposedly she's
still out there. She hitchhikes and
whoever picks her up, well, they
disappear forever.
>> That have been nice to know about that
before you were him, you know.
Let me try.
>> Got it,
>> dude.
>> He's got them college keywords.
>> So, angry spirits are born out of
violent death, right?
>> Yeah.
>> Maybe it's not murder.
>> This was 1981. Constance Welch, 24 years
old, jumps off Sylvania bridge, drowns
[music] in the river.
>> So, what you did?
>> Yeah.
>> What?
>> An hour before they found her, she calls
911. Her two little kids are in the
bathtub. She leaves him alone for a
minute and when she comes back they are
breathing. "Our babies were gone and
Constants [music] just couldn't bear
it," said husband Joseph Welch. "That
bridge look familiar to you?"
"So this is where Constance took the
swan dive." "So you think dad would have
been here?"
>> Well, he's chasing the same story and
we're chasing him.
>> Okay. So now what?
>> And we keep digging till we find him.
Might take a while.
>> Dean, I told you I've got to get back by
Monday.
>> Monday? You're really serious about
this, aren't you? You think you're just
going to become some lawyer? Marry a
girl?
>> Maybe. Why not? Does Jessica know the
truth about you? I mean, does she know
about the things you've done?
>> No. And she's not ever going to know.
>> Well, that's healthy. You can pretend
all you want, Sammy, but sooner or
later, you're going to have to face up
to who you really are.
>> Who's that?
>> One of us.
>> No, I'm not like you. This is not going
to be my life. You have a responsibility
to Dad and his crusade. If it weren't
for pictures, I wouldn't even know what
mom looks like. What difference would it
make?
>> Even if we do find the thing that killed
her,
>> she's so young. Mom's gone and she isn't
coming back.
>> DON'T TALK ABOUT HER like that.
>> Sam,
>> where'd she go?
>> I don't know
what the driving your car.
Man, I thought for sure they were in
that water.
>> Jean, hey, are you all right?
>> Are all right?
>> Yeah, whatever she did to it seems all
right now. That constants chick. WHAT A
[ __ ]
>> WELL, she doesn't want us digging
around, that's for sure. So, where's the
chug off from here? A genius. You smell
like a toilet.
>> One room, please. You guys having a
reunion or something?
>> What do you mean?
>> That other guy bured from you. He came
in and bought out a room for the whole
month.
>> Um. Uh-oh.
>> That would be his dad, right?
>> Half cheeseburger.
>> I don't think he's been here for a
couple days at least.
Salt. Cat's eye shells. He was worried.
Trying to keep something from coming in.
[clears throat] What do you got here?
Centennial Highway victims. I don't get
it. Different men, different jobs, ages,
ethnicities. There's always a
connection, right? What do these guys
have in common?
>> Woman.
>> Dad figured it out.
>> What do you mean? He found the same
article we did. Constance Welch. She's
[music] a woman in white.
These sly dogs. All right. So, if we're
dealing with a woman in white, dad would
have found the corpse and destroyed it.
>> She might have another weakness.
>> No. Dad want to make sure. He'd dig her
up. Does it say where she's buried? No,
not that I can tell. If I were dad,
though, and go ask her husband, if he's
still alive.
>> All right, why don't you uh see if you
can find a dress? I'm going to get
cleaned up.
>> Hey, Dean. What I said earlier about mom
and dad. I'm sorry. No chickflick
moments.
>> Come on,
>> jerk. [ __ ]
>> I wonder who everyone's favorite is of
the two.
>> Hey, it's me.
>> I'm starving. And I'm going to grab a
little something to eat at the diner
down the street. You want anything?
>> No.
>> For me, it's fine.
>> Oh no. Oh no.
>> Home soon. Okay. I love you.
>> What?
>> Dude 5. Take off.
>> What about you?
>> Uh, they kind of spotted me. Go find
dad.
>> Problem officers.
>> Where's your partner?
>> What partner? [laughter]
>> So fake US marshal, fake credit cards.
You got anything that's real? my boots.
>> You have the right to remain silent.
Anything you say can and will be used
against you in a court of law.
>> So, you want to give us your real name?
>> I told you it's Nent. Ted Nent.
[laughter]
>> No, it's not.
>> I'm not sure you realize just how much
trouble you're in here.
>> We talking like misdemeanor kind of
trouble or uh squeal like a pig trouble.
>> You got the faces of 10 missing persons
taped to your wall along with a whole
[clears throat] lot of satanic mumbo
jumbo. Boy, you are officially a
suspect.
>> That makes sense. That comes across.
When the first one went missing in ' 82,
I was three.
>> I know you got partners. One of them's
an older guy. Maybe he started the whole
thing. So tell me, Dean,
>> is this his?
>> He said Ted New Jam.
>> I thought that might be your name. See,
I leaped through this. What little I
could make out. I mean, it's nine kinds
of crazy, but I found this, too. Now,
you're staying right here till you tell
me exactly what the hell that means.
35111.
>> Hi. Uh, are you Joseph Welch?
>> Yeah. Yeah, he's older, but that's him.
He came back 3 or 4 days ago. Said he
was a reporter.
>> That's right. We're working on a story
together.
>> I was like, maybe hell, but I'll be 43
working on she asked me
>> about your late wife, Constance.
>> He asked me where she was buried.
>> And where is that again?
>> Well, I got to go through this twice.
>> It's factecking
>> and a plot. Find my old place over on
Breen Ridge.
>> Why did you move?
>> I'm not going to live in town house. My
children died. Mr. Walch, did you ever
marry again?
>> No way. Not since she was the love of my
life. Prettiest woman I ever known.
>> So you had a happy marriage.
>> Definitely.
>> A
>> Well, that should do it. Thanks for your
time.
>> Mr. Welch, you ever hear of a woman in
white?
>> A what?
>> A woman in white or sometimes a weeping
woman? It's a ghost story. Well, it's
more of a phenomenon really. Um, they're
spirits. They've been cited for hundreds
of years. Dozens of places in Hawaii, in
Mexico, lately in Arizona, Indiana. All
these are different women, you
understand? but all share the same
story.
>> I don't care much for nonsense.
>> See, when they were alive, their
husbands were unfaithful to them. And
these women, basically suffering from
temporary insanity, murdered their
children. Then once they realized what
they had done, they took their own
lives. So now [music] their spirits are
cursed, walking back roads, waterways,
and if they find an unfaithful man, they
kill him. And that man is never seen
again.
>> You think that has something to do with
Constants? You smart ass?
>> You tell me. I mean, maybe. Maybe I made
some mistakes.
So it is like a
>> no matter what I get. Constants never
would have killed her own children. Now
you get the hell out of here and you
don't come back.
>> I don't know how many times I got to
tell you. It's my high school locker
combo.
>> Are we going to do this all night long?
>> We just got a 911. Shots fired over at
Whiteford Road. You have to go to the
bathroom.
>> No.
>> Oh man.
>> Oh yeah.
Oh, we're getting out.
And he was incredibly fast at that.
>> Fake 911 phone call, Sammy. I don't
know. That's pretty illegal.
>> You're welcome.
>> Listen, we got to talk.
>> Tell me about it. So, the husband was
unfaithful. We are dealing with a woman
in white and she's buried behind her old
house. So, that should have been dad's
next stop.
>> Would you shut up for a second?
>> I just can't figure out why he hasn't
destroyed the corpse yet.
>> Well, that's what I'm trying to tell
you. He's gone. Dad left Jericho.
>> What? How do you know?
>> I've got his journal.
>> He doesn't go anywhere without that
thing.
>> Yeah, well, he did this time.
>> What's it say?
>> None of that same old exmarine crap.
when he wants to let us know where he's
going.
>> Coordinates. Where too? I'm not sure
yet.
>> Dean, what the hell is going on?
>> Oh, no.
>> No.
>> Are you cursed?
>> I don't like curses. I don't really know
how they work.
>> No.
She's like Elon Musk with the
self-driving.
>> Don't do this.
>> I can never go home.
>> You're scared to go home.
>> You can't kill me. I'm not unfaithful.
I've never been. You will be
>> stay in there strong for Jessica.
[screaming]
>> What are you going to do? Oh,
[gasps and sighs]
I'm [music] taking you home.
Sam,
>> that was crazy.
>> I think. Can you move?
>> Yeah. Help me.
>> There you go,
>> man.
What?
>> Oh,
>> you've come home to us, Mommy.
>> Oh my goodness gracious.
[screaming]
I feel like wherever she just went is
where their dad is. So they should have
jumped in there with her.
[music]
>> Yeah.
>> So this is where she drowned her kids.
That's why she could never go home. She
was too scared to face her. You found
her weak spot. This works, Sammy.
[laughter]
>> Yeah. I wish I could say the same for
you. What are you thinking shooting
Casper in the face? You freak. Hey,
saved your ass. I'll tell you another
thing. If you screwed up my car, I'll
kill you.
>> I think that's crazy though. That's only
episode one and like so much happened.
>> Here's where dad went. It's called
Blackwater Ridge, Colorado.
>> Sounds charming. How far?
>> About 600 miles.
>> We should ask. We can make it by
morning.
>> Dina,
>> the interview. Dude,
>> you're not you're forgetting
>> the interview's in like 10 hours. I got
to be there.
>> I'll take you home.
>> Good luck, buddy. Maybe I can meet up
with you later, huh?
>> Yeah. All right,
>> Sam. You know, we made a hell of a team
back there.
>> Yeah.
>> You'll make the a better team when he's
backed by the law.
>> Jess, you home?
>> Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, hell no.
>> No.
S.
Sam.
How do you know to come in?
[music]
>> Oh my god. I thought that one was a
dream this time.
>> We got work to do. [music]
>> Oh my god.
Wow. That was like one of the craziest
pilots I think I've ever seen in show
history because well, a lot happened. Of
course. Um, I feel like the whole arc to
Why Supernatural exists, which is of
course the mother dying, um, I think her
name [music] was Mary. Mary Mary dying
kind of set everything in motion because
it made John and Sam and Dean all kind
of be hunters. Um, didn't really say
100% what they hunt, but I'm assuming
that's where the lore of all the like
mythical horror creatures come in. I
guess like kind of what this episode
had, which was women and women in white.
I've never really heard that one, but um
it seems like it it it comes along to
women who have unfaithful husbands and
they curse they get cursed and then they
kill their family and then they end up
killing themselves which is sad but you
know I don't really know how these
curses work but that is insane and it
was crazy to see these two at work like
cuz they're actually really good at what
they do. Um obviously they fake a lot of
things. They fake credit card things.
They have FBI things. I mean, I think
it's pretty neat how in detail they are
hunting these, you know, I keep saying
these things because I'm not 100% sure
yet. So, I'm going to call them
critters. So, we're hunting these
critters. [music] And um
and poor Sam, he finally was ready to
live like kind of I guess a normal life.
You I guess you could say normal. Um,
[music] I'm not sure like if he was
going to law school to do something
other than I don't know, help his his
dad and brother out with their like uh I
don't know, scams that they kind of
commit, I guess. Um, or if he was doing
just a completely different venture on
his own. I didn't really get into that
much detail cuz he had an interview. It
wasn't really like telling us all that,
but he did have a new girlfriend named
Jessica. And sadly enough for her, she
had the same fate as his mother, which
leaves [music] questions to me that
maybe Sam or someone in the family is
cursed. [music] And um I say Sam because
it was it was Sam's mom and it was over
Sam when he was um sleeping as a baby
and then it's over him when Jessica. So
I I don't know if it's Sam that's the
problem. That's what I'm like. But
anyways, I'm excited to watch episode
two and I thought that was a lot of fun.
Um, it's hard, you know, I'm not the
best at reacting by myself yet. Um, I
know I had like a little movie channel
where I watch animated movies, but you
know, it's a lot easier to talk during
those things for some reason. But, um,
that genuinely scared the mess out of
me. So, it was kind of not fun to watch
by myself, but I'm here for it. So, um,
yeah, that was episode 1 and I can't
wait to get into episode two. We have
326 more to watch. Let's go. Like,
