The Mountain Girl experience is less than 1 month away. Co-organizer Chris Preston let us know what we can expect this year. >> Here we are less than a month away from the sixth annual Mountain Girl experience, and we are so excited to invite everyone this year to our new location at the beautiful Coal Run City Park. There's green grass, shady trees, um loads of parking, and and we're so honored to be partnering with the the city of Coal Run this year, as well as Pike County Tourism and our presenting sponsor Appalachian Regional Healthcare. And we're just overwhelmed with the number of uh vendors that we have coming this year. We have craft vendors. We're going to have a whole Community Cove information uh area where you can gain valuable resources for job opportunities or healthcare, etc. As always, we have live music performances, so we're going to have two stages running out here. Um there'll be another stage beside the one that you see. And so, when one band finishes, another begins, so the music will not stop. Uh we'll also have our workshops that are for kids of all ages. Everything here is meant to be family-friendly. >> As hillbillies have a saying, if it's too good to be true, well, it probably is. At Appalachian [music] Wireless, we just tell it like it is, the Kentucky way. Local people with dependable service and no runaround. [music] Keep it local, keep it connected. We are Appalachian Wireless. >> Despite the new location, the weekend will still include its U Pike events. >> As always, we'll have our juried art exhibition that'll be in the Weber Art Gallery, and we're still taking registration for uh those who might want to participate and um show a piece in the gallery. And then back by popular demand, on Thursday, October 15th, we'll be having our front porch panel, um our women's panel, uh where we will have some very distinguished and successful Appalachian women um sharing their stories and we can ask them questions and this was a very um uplifting and inspiring event that we had last year. >> New this year will be a vintage market. >> The grandma core >> [laughter] >> thing uh is is really in right now and you know, we have we we have so many of our friends that are involved with with uh Mount Girl Experience who are also really into doing um peddler's malls and vintage vintage booths and that sort of thing. So, we're incorporating that as well. So, I think the call out for that is going out today or tomorrow for those who might want to bring um their their vintage goods to to sell for someone to take home and learn to love.
