Mortal Shell 2: BROKEN GLITCHES 4k+ Gloom Per Second / FAST SHELL POINTS & LEVEL UP XP Farm Guide
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
In Mortal Shell 2, two highly effective methods exist for farming Gloom in the late game, both of which are currently considered broken exploits or glitches that developers are expected to patch eventually. Accessing these areas requires players to first collect and siphon at least 168 Over Eggs within the Marrow Keep, which triggers a sequence where a specific NPC turns hostile and must be defeated to reveal a hidden entrance. Once inside this new region, players face three bosses before reaching the final beacon that serves as the hub for these farms. The first method involves a slower but reliable process where players cleanse corruption at a campfire, pick up a torch, and enter a foggy area containing numerous chests. Each chest yields 1,000 Gloom, and because they respawn instantly upon leaving the room or reloading the game, players can accumulate infinite resources by repeatedly exiting to the main menu and re-entering to reset the chests.
The second method is described as an even more broken exploit that generates thousands of Gloom per second, though it relies on a specific glitch involving enemy cycles rather than simple chest respawning. To utilize this farm, players must navigate from the Marrow Keep to a specific beacon in Brother's Court, noting that fast travel does not work and they must run directly from a previously unlocked beacon to trigger the exploit. Upon reaching the correct beacon, players engage with an enemy that appears to die and respawn in a loop, granting a massive amount of Gloom instantly. This cycle can be repeated indefinitely by simply entering and exiting the beacon area as quickly as possible, allowing PC users to potentially automate the process with macros for millions of Gloom over time.
Despite the immense rewards offered by these farms, the video creator notes that players do not need to worry about losing progress if they cleanse the main beacon, as the farming mechanics remain functional even after completing the area's primary objectives. The only requirement to maintain access is to avoid triggering the final gate mechanism that asks for all Gloom to be submitted; instead, players should simply back out to the main menu and re-enter the game to reset the resources without needing to go through the entire corruption cleansing process again. Both strategies offer a way to rapidly level up weapons past the standard limit of 16 and stockpile enough currency to dominate the rest of the game, serving as essential tools for end-game preparation until potential patches are released.

So guys, I am back with yet another
Mortal Shower 2 video. And today guys, I
bring you the two very best late game
gloom farms there is. No ifs, so buts
about it. Let's go. How's it going,
guys? My name is DPJ and if you do enjoy
the video, leaving a like really helps
out. And if you like what you see and
want to see more, be sure to subscribe.
Okay, so one of these is an exploit
which will be patched, no doubt, sooner
or later. The other one is a method
which takes advantage of a late late
late game uh beacon which I'm pretty
sure as well guys when they clock onto
it also patch this out the game. Either
way they're both broke and you will get
infinite amounts of gloom in no time at
all. Okay, so these are both late uh
game. Sorry. And I say that because you
need to have collected 168 over eggs and
siphoned them within the marrow keep to
access this area down here. So what I
was actually doing guys was I was um
clearing out all the uh corrupted gates
and I got halfway through this one right
here and then I got a cut scene.
Uh then I come back to here. I siphoned
the over eggs and the guy in the corner
here, guys, I spoke to him and well, he
kind of turned bad and then tried to
attack me. I took him out. The floor
opened up and I opened up this new
hidden well late game area, which is
where both of these farms take place.
So, I'm going to showcase you guys the
first one, which is the slower method,
but it's the one that I believe will be
patched out later. The other method is
an exploit which not many people will
probably want to do that. So yeah. So
you just want to when you come down to
this area guys basically um this entire
area this entire region it's
three bosses uh before you get to the
final boss. And the three bosses you
have to take out. Now the final boss is
that red light in front of me. That's
where the final boss is now. But let me
just quickly run around here and show
you what I mean. There's basically three
bosses and a lot of corruption you have
to clear out before you unlock the final
beacon, which is where the actual farm
takes place in. So, if you come around
this way, you'll see
um so yeah, this beacon right in front
of me right here, guys, is where this
actual this farm takes place. Now,
initially, this is not here. This beacon
you cannot activate. You cannot trigger.
And that's because guys, if you take the
right path or the left path, they will
lead you to three individual bosses uh
which you have to take out. Upon taking
out these bosses, people, you then have
to clear corruption, things of that
nature. You have to like open up this
sort of like weird weird I don't know
eggy cagey thing and stab this thing uh
within it. Do that guys and then you'll
eventually uh unlock this beacon. Now, I
could show you the routes to each boss,
but I'm just here. There's nothing in
your way here. I mean, there's
literally, guys, there's three main
paths you can take. And each of these
main paths will indeed uh take you to an
individual boss. There's nothing no real
difficult path here to need find, but
either will eventually guys unlock this
beacon right here. So, upon you on the
beacon and then cleansing the beacon. I
haven't actually fully cleansed it yet,
but when you come into the here, guys,
this is where you can actually get
infinite gloom. And I mean infinite,
indefinite,
forever and ever. So, initially when you
come in here, you'll come to this sort
of like uh campfire. Um if you read
this, which you have to do, I do
believe. Read that and close it. Walk
forward, just get into the smoke, turn
back on yourself, run back towards that
fire, and you'll see then there is
indeed a torch there on the floor, which
you have to pick up. Upon picking up
this torch, we walk back into that fog.
Uh, and this is the slowest part to be
honest.
Um, but once you get through it, guys,
you'll see on the other side of this,
you can actually get infinite gloom,
which is wild. It really is. I don't
think they thought too hard about this
if I'm honest with you, and I'll explain
why. So, you drop the torch here.
And if we Well, you drop it somewhere
here. Let's see. There we go. So, if you
run forward
and keep coming,
jump down, you'll see that there is
things to actually pick up, which you
can ignore to be honest. I think these
are just a jolt thing. These things
right here. When you pick them up, it
actually if you go into your inventory,
you'll see
I don't even know what they are.
I don't know what they are, but I've got
137 cuz I just kept picking them up, but
I think it's a joke. Uh, so you can
ignore these if you want to, but they do
they will respawn and you get quite a
lot of them. But yeah, evil.
But then guys, you come down into this
room right here.
Keep coming.
And a good actually good thing about
this actual beacon is there's a chest in
front of you which you definitely want
to grab. So you jump down, come around
this corner, ignore them. Again, there's
a chest right here. pick this chest up
because you get an item out of it which
will allow you to upgrade your your
weapons past a level 16. So yeah, so
that's a great item. But if we come
forward, guys, you'll see that there's
plenty of chests here. Now, each one of
these chests give you
1,000 gloom.
And I don't know how in here, guys, but
there's probably 30, probably 40 in
here. I haven't counted them. But this
is where I think they haven't
worked out right the devs because
obviously you're going to come in here
for the first time. You're going to
unlock all these chest. Yes, I got
plenty of gloom. But then when you want
to finish the actual the beacon, you
have to give all your gloom.
But no, you don't. You don't have to
give your gloom because you can open all
these chests
indefinitely, guys. I mean, you can open
them all. And I mean, there's loads
here. Or you could do what's even
quicker in opening these
is beating up these sort of like gloom
routes. And the maddest thing about
these guys is they give you 50 or 500
each one, but then they instantly
respawn which you can just stand here
for days
just clapping these back and forth for
as long as you want
and get
infinite gloom. But the maddest thing is
guys, once you've opened up all these
and say you've got, I don't know,
50,000, you've slapped them things up
for, I don't know, you've got hundreds
of thousands, you then, guys, simply
back out to main menu, come back into
the game. You load back at the front be
at the beacon. You can go back in and
open all the chests again. All the
chests are back.
They're resealed. You can open them
again and get more gloom.
give it you will have to do the same
thing with a campfire. You will have to
run forward a bit, come back on
yourself, etc., etc.
But either or, and the thing is as well,
guys,
even if you cleanse this actual this
spot, if you cleanse this beacon, which
I do,
I didn't go for further enough forward.
You can cl if you cleanse this beacon,
guys, you can still come back in here
and do it. You can still come back in
here and do this. So, if you've already
cleansed this beacon, do not worry. And
I'll do that for you now. And I'll speed
this up, guys.
So yeah, I'll do this guys. I'll give
all my be uh all my gloom. I ain't
really bothered about it. 46,000. I can
get back in a couple of minutes. And
then guys, we basically just cleanse
this corruption
just like so. Return to the beacon.
Return to surface just like so. And then
when we come back in here, guys, it's
going to ask us to do it again at the
gate. At this door, it will ask us to
indeed
um submit or give all your gloom
to basically open that door which you
don't need to do. You can simply guys
again as I said just back out to the
main menu after you've farmed all the
gloom within the room and you can just
come straight back in again. I'll speed
this up again so we can actually go back
into the room.
And again, guys, we go back into the
room and you'll see the chests are all
still here. And you can just repeat this
farm indefinitely and get infinite
amounts of that gloom. So again guys,
once you farmed all these chests if
that's what you want to do and if you
farmed the heck out of these for a well
for as long as you want to do it, don't
go to the gate at the end. Simply just
back out to the main menu and then come
back into the game. You'll keep all your
gloom and you'll resume at the actual
entrance to this beacon. So yeah. Okay.
Okay, so let's move on, guys, to what
has to be the most broken gloom farm in
the entire game. Now, this is completely
bust. Uh, so we need to return to Maro
Keep. Again, it takes place within this
area. So, again, you're going to need to
have um collected and siphoned 168
minimum of eggs within Mario Keep to
open up this area. And from this area,
guys, and actually, this is how to do
the farm.
It takes place from a beacon, but you
actually guys have to run run to it from
here. You can't uh fast travel straight
to the beacon. Doesn't work. You have to
do it from this point. Uh so come this
way.
Come under here. Jump down.
Now, this is an exploit. This is a
glitch. This is getting patched out the
game. It basically allows you to earn
3,000 plus or 4,000 plus every single
second, depending if you got it on night
mode or not. Mine ain't on night mode
because if it's night mode, it's hard uh
for my viewers to see my video because
the screen's so dark. But yeah, it
doesn't matter to me. But if you want to
put it on night mode and come here,
that's up to you. Just going to run
around this way.
Avoid all these dudes
and come up to this traversal here. I'm
just going to traverse across just like
so.
Then guys, we're going to take a light
here.
I'm going to come down this way
and just like so. And again, we are
going to go to a beacon, but you have
you have to run to this beacon from a
previous beacon. You can't just teleport
straight to the beacon. It does not work
some weird route. Actually, I know why
don't I think there's an enemy on our
way to it that actually dies and we get
it gloom. And then when we go to the
beacon and reset the beacon, it seems as
though we're just going to get a
infinite cycle of that that enemy's um
gloom. So yeah, it's weird, but you'll
see what I mean when we get there. If
you haven't seen this already, there is
a video I posted um a few days back now.
So let's go up here,
come through this cave, take this other
jump pad up
just like so.
And then guys, we're just going to come
up to this traversal right here.
Traverse across here. And then you'll
notice guys, as we run through here, we
actually get gloom.
See that gloom there? That is the gloom.
Whatever's giving us that, that is what
we get in an infinite cycle. You want to
dodge this dude as well, guys. If he
hits you, he almost destroys you
straight away. So, this is indeed the
beacon.
This is the beacon you want to be coming
to. It is indeed the uh brother's court
beacon. And again, guys, you simply just
come in and out of it. And you'll see
you get the glue. And you don't have to
wait. You can simply come in and out
like this
infinitely, indefinitely, and you'll
constantly get that gloom as fast as you
can. I mean, if you play on PC, you
could probably even set up a macro if
you wanted to do this all night, all
day. You would get millions and millions
of gloom people. So, yeah.
Again though, this if you if I um just
teleport straight to this beacon, it
wouldn't work. You have to run here from
a previous beacon. So if you got the
main beacon of the area unlocked, the
one once you cleanse um the entire area,
the one where we just went to to get
those chests, could run to this spot
from that spot. If you haven't got that
beacon unlocked, you'll have to run here
from a mag keep as you saw me do. And
again, to unlock this whole area, you
need to have collected at least
168 over eggs and siphon them keep the
guy in the corner then will go corrupt.
You speak to him or try and attack you.
You take him out. The hole in full will
open up. Travel in here, guys. And take
advantage of this. And there we have it.
Two absolutely broken
gloom farms. Guys, if you enjoyed the
video, leave a like. Really helps out.
If you like what you see, want to see
more, be sure to subscribe. And
hopefully, guys, I will see you on that
next
one.
