Mississippi Police Chief FIRED For Text using The N-WORD After A K!D Was K!lled!

It comes after reports that Harold Vanderford used a grading and racist language in multiple text messages. That's according to outlets including the New York Times. The decision is contradicting a message that was posted earlier by the city that said quote he'll continue to serve the city with the confidence that was placed in him at the time he was appointed as chief. The New York Times and Mississippi today report that Vanderford submitted a resignation letter, but the board of alderman rejected it and voted to [music] fire him instead. Sanitobia police have been under scrutiny since an officer shot and killed one-year-old Cohen Wy in June while responding to a shoplifting call at Walmart. Civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who represents Wigh's mother, released a statement saying, quote, "Removing this chief was the right decision." He also said the racist language that caused Chief Vanderford his job is exactly why this family can't simply be told to trust the process. >> Wow. So, here we go, guys.
