My name is Giovanni. I come from Italy.
Before joining the M C L, I was
practicing as an M & A lawyer in Italy
in a top tier law firm in Italy and I
was assistant teacher for the corporate
law course in one of the universities in
Milan.
It was a really exciting and I'll say
enriching. Even if I was as I said a
corporate lawyer before, I had the
opportunity to explore different aspects
of corporate law. The modules
which were offered were really good and
I had difficulty to to choose among
them.
And the quality of the teaching was
stunning. So I really recommend
the program to whoever to whoever is
interested in a
enriching his
academic perspective but also deep dive
into practical aspects of corporate law.
Living in Living in Cambridge is like a
is a life-changing experience really.
It was amazing. I developed like a
great
community.
I made a lot of friends and every day
was different and you had the
opportunity to meet interesting people
coming from all over the world. I think
that was the really
characterizing feature of living living
Cambridge.
Personally I really enjoyed the private
equity module
because
many of the clients of the firm
I was working I was working with where
private equity firms and I gained some
inside knowledge on how private equity
firms think before acting and sometimes
when you practice you you you you take

so my my personal insight would be like

if you're interested in the in the M&A
world.
Before coming to Cambridge, I was pretty
sure
that I wanted to continue my practice in
Milan.
But as I said, Cambridge is a really
life-changing. So,
now I'm
trying to assess whether my profile
could be suitable for um
some London law firms. So, to
um
make a a step forward in my career and
trying to to move to London to to join
some law firms in London. But I still
need to to think about it properly. So,
next weeks will be
um
very intense for me.
Um but I'm sure like after after coming
to the
after coming to Cambridge and uh joining
the MCL, um
you will have like so many opportunities
and you really need like to to choose it
properly
according to yourself.
