Marvel SDCC 2026 RECAP/PREDICTIONS

I mean, look at it right now, bro, like Yeah. So, this what we got right here. We got We got Ghost Rider 2028, Black Panther 3, December 15, 2028, Spider-Man brand new. We got that, of course, coming up. Avengers Doomsday, December 18, 2026, X-Men to be announced, and then Avengers Secret Wars, December 17. And they're saying that they're not looking for a Secret Wars part one, part two. >> [panting] >> Yeah. I think it makes sense as well, to be honest. Yeah. I mean, this new announcement, everything that they're doing, uh I think this is uh I think this is pretty good. I think this is really pretty good. They're talking about there is confirm a connection history between Reed Richards and Doom, which that actually makes sense. I was hoping that we'd do that so it can be a smoother story. In my opinion, I think that would be good. There should be a different connection. There should be like a connection, for sure. No doubt about it. Yeah, I think so. I think that's good. Uh what was they saying about uh What are they talking about when it comes to let's see Uh singing We saw that already. Ryan Reynolds showed up at Marvel's SDCC panel wearing the X-Force Deadpool suit. So, that's interesting. I didn't realize he wore that. Wow, he did. What does that That means something. That means something. He just dropped a mean Easter egg. He dropped a mean I think that's the costume he's going to have in Doomsday or Secret Wars. Yeah, either and he might be coming from X-Force. I don't know if you remember the group, the X-Force. I mean, he could. I mean, I think he could show up. I also think this means who he's going to be in the X-Men's um universe as well. I think this is going to get real real interesting. Um let me see they got anything up here. Okay, I know we're going to talk about the Black Panther. But, I think Deadpool is going to show up. I think Yeah, I I mean, I think he should show up to be honest with you. I think Deadpool has really did a thing on, you know, Marvel universe. He was a good thing for Marvel. His character is definitely powerful. He tends to do that, just show up and provide commentary, then go on his own thing. Yeah, he does. Oh, yeah, yeah, this is another one I was trying to point out, too. So, this was interesting. Hayley is coming back to the Avengers. That's interesting. That's interesting, bro. That So, where did I'm interested where she play a part because I've been hearing rumors that they were saying um the Steve Rogers that we saw in the trailer is not the Steve Rogers we think it is. This might be Hail Hydra um Steve Rogers. And I think that plays a very interesting thing. So, when they make an announcement that she is coming back, that's interesting. What does that mean? And I'm glad. I don't want I don't even want to know. I mean, cuz there's ways they can play the story out really, really good. But, I'm glad that she's back. I think she was a really um low-key actor inside of the uh Marvel Universe, but I also understood that she played a major part in the Marvel Universe. Like, I think her I think it's she's playing a important key. And because she was like basically Steve Rogers' lover, oh yeah, I think this is dope. I think it's dope. I'm glad she's back cuz it makes a mystery. Like, it makes it mysterious. Like, okay, what what part she's going to play? She's not about to be from another universe or timeline. She has to play something very important about this. You don't just bring her back to waste time. And you heard her say that's funny. Waste time. And we're dealing with the Marvel Universe right now in the multiverse. And I you know, you see the comments people everybody keep saying that Doom is going to kill her. That's what everybody's saying. Doom is going to kill her. So, this could be interesting. This could be interesting. I think this I think this is dope to see. I'm excited. I'm excited for this. As people just excited for Doom, I'm also curious how they going to really make Doom in the Marvel universe. If he come at her like, "Yo, I know you lost your world. Come join me." See, that's what I'm saying. They going to try to make him a savior in some people's eyes, and he's going to be a villain in others' eyes because he's trying to take her take over somebody else's Earth. I mean, there's so many ways to do it. Like, you know, there's so many ways you can read into this, but I think this is going to be really interesting because he did say I think there was a video of him talking. There's a video of Robert Downey Jr. talking. He said something important, too. I think it was uh on Rotten Tomatoes. Let me see. I'm going to Rotten Tomatoes real quick. Hold on. I think Marvel seen some areas that they did wrong at and I think Marvel about to respond back. I think it's really good time to bring in Ghost Rider. I really think so. They saw the response to the trailer and said, "Oh, hold on. Y'all got us effed up." Yeah. And you know what? You know, you know, we'll talk about the Black Panther the second cuz I know like we did a deep dive for our love for Black Panther. But, on this X-Men, I mean, this X-Men moment is about to be huge. This X-Men You go from Tony Starks the whole Avengers and I think Kevin talked about that this ain't no restart over. They going to pray first at any production house. That's funny. That's funny. But, you know what? I know you're not joking, either. I know you're not joking, either. Like, even though it's funny, I know you're dead serious, too. Because people was feeling some way about how it was shot. People did not like how it was shot. People did not like how that finishing edit was. People was not feeling it. Yeah, I So, after you said something to me about how people was feeling, I started looking it up myself, and you was not lying. People was feeling some way. A lot of a lot of content creators, a lot of people was like, "I'm not looking forward to this." People said it felt empty and hollow, like no feeling there. Yep, that was kind of like everybody's comment. People said that they felt nothing. Oof, man. I was like, [clears throat] "Godly, that's That's deep." That is deep. >> Wow. Wow. I mean but I you know this Doomsday going to be good. I think it's going to be it's going to be a killer. I think it's going to do good. I think it's going to do good. Before we talk about the excitement of like the the T'Challa son, I really just wondering how the cast is holding up on this. Black Panther is a very like sensitive to the cast for all the right reasons. You know. Um Let me see. Like you know it was she she's >> Young young man. >> She's trying to hold it together. >> [cheering] >> I think this is the right direction. I say this, bro. I think this is the seriously the right direction to go if you're going to continue with the legacy of Black Panther. I really think so. I think this is the right direction to go. I think if they were trying to replace a whole T'Challa, I think that would have been a bad idea. I think it would have been a rough. But I think creating this story now of the son of T'Challa and create a brand new story that you can pull from the comics cuz there's different stories of the son of T'Challa that you could play with and you can create a brand new one. So, there's space of creativity. And I just for me I think because people don't realize like the story about like Batman Beyond. Bruce Wayne, everybody knew Damian, but no one realized um Batman Beyond Terry McGinnis was actually carries the DNA of Bruce Wayne. So, he was technically Bruce Wayne's son. And but the story he was created through WB because they need something new. It was a whole story on YouTube about it about like how Batman Beyond was even born. And then people end up falling in love with the Batman Beyond story. I thought it was definitely dope cuz it shows you like the in the late late 2000s after Bruce Wayne is retired, he's almost 100 years old. I think like it was a brand new story. So, I look at T'Challa's son. You know what I'm saying? Prince T'Challa. You get a chance to do a brand new story and fall in love with a a new hero without damaging the legacy of the legacy of Chadwick Boseman and the legacy of T'Challa. But I think this is a good route to go to do the prince of T'Challa. I think you got so you got you got many options to be able to to to discover with this. I think this is good. I think this is really really good. I think this is a good route to go. And and I feel like it's healing. I think this is healing for them. I really do. I think this is healing to be an uncle, auntie, a big brother to him and he can learn a lot from them. I really think this is good. I really I I I can't find nothing bad to say about this. Like if I'm, you know, being honest with you, that's why I told people like I didn't have a problem with the last Black Panther movie. I just think that I I wanted to see them get a chance to heal the way they needed to. And and then come out with the the movie. But this right here is going to really help. You know, um I know people talked about Denzel Washington possibly being in um Black Panther. And I mean, I'm like, "Yeah, that's cool and all." But I think this is the good I think this is a great route. I think I just really do. I think this is really good. And this young man can act. This young man can really act. I saw some of his work. The brother can act. Cuz he killed it in Long Walk. Yeah. I really Yeah, I just I'm I'm excited for this. I'm excited to see something new that I don't know. Like, you know what I mean? I think that's what people is missing right now. I wanted I'm I'm happy to see a new story. I'm I'm I want to see a new story for Black Panther. I really do. And me personally, just being a kid that grew up reading Black Panther from the comics and anytime I saw him as a cartoon, um you know, we had a chance they talked about his grandfather, his father, his uncle, and then his sister. I knew about the sister, Killmonger, and all. And now you get something new in 2026 of Yo. The the son of T'Challa. They going to get him in the gym, make sure his dialect on point, or it or or it's a wrap. Oh, yeah. And I think he's going to do good. I think he's going to do really, really good. Cuz he's hungry. As an actor and as an artist you can tell he's hungry and he got veterans surrounding him. And you know, Ryan Coogler is just becoming he's on Super Saiyan level right now. He's on the ultra instinct mode. He from the UK, too. Oh, I did I see and I did not even know that. I didn't even know that. I had no clue. You You right, bro. It probably was. It probably was between them two, bro. It probably was and he he must have really took it there. He must have really, really took it there. But I think his his height, his size, I think where they want to go with this uh Black Panther, I think this is perfect. He's going to probably be real fast. He going to be quick. This going to be Oh, this going to be good. I think cuz Ryan is He's in a crazy pocket, so you know and you know that means I'm excited to see Killmonger because Killmonger has Killmonger survived a lot. I think people should be excited for a brand new story. I think people should I think people should really, really enjoy a brand new story. I would I think we are missing the art of Yeah, I think they're going to bring him back. I think I I think he's going to come back. I think he's going to come back cuz he he did return. I think he's going to return back. Yeah. Yeah, I think I think they're going to find a way to bring him back. I think so. I really think so.
