Marvel's ENTIRE MCU Future AFTER AVENGERS: Secret Wars EXPLAINED! | Black Panther 3, X-MEN & MORE

What's up y'all? I'm Be Avery with Just My Opinion Reviews. So, we have our first trailer for Avengers Doomsday, and I loved it. A lot of people didn't. Also, Comic-Con has passed and Spider-Man: Brand New Day is in theaters right now and is blowing it up at the box office. We know Secret Wars is coming up after that, but what about after Secret Wars? So, if it was up to me, these are my top 10 films, my top 10 Marvel films that will come after Secret Wars. But first, let me go ahead and mention a few honorable mentions, you know, because I do have a lot of movies that I want to see and we're just going to break this down. Okay, the first honorable mention is going to be Iron Man 4 and or Armor Wars with Don Cheetel because like most people, I love Iron Man. Rest in peace, Robert Downey Jr. or Tony Stark from Avengers Endgame. I do feel like Tony Stark is going to come back. Uh even though he's playing Doom right now in Avengers Doomsday and maybe Secret Wars, they're not just going to kill off Tony Stark and never bring him back. And so with Secret Wars coming out and Avengers Doomsday with them resetting or rebooting the universe in some form, shape, or fashion, I'm pretty sure that we're going to get Tony Stark back as Iron Man. And I would love that. And also, Armor Wars was supposed to be a TV show, then it was a movie, then a TV show. I mean, where we at? Okay, it's tied in with Iron Man, and so most likely we can either get a show with that or a movie or something, but that's what I want. That's my first honorable mention. Coming in at number two is Nova. Now, I don't know much about the character. I've seen a few of the animated shows that came on Disney Plus or Disney or Marvel like a number of years ago. I think from the little that I know about him, he's a decent character. I don't care if we get a movie or a TV show. Either or will be fine with me. But that is my second honorable mention of Nova. Coming in at number three is Guardians of the Galaxy part 4. I loved Guardians of the Galaxy. I think the franchise is fantastic. Of course, we had the last one with James Gun before he went over to DC to ham their movie superhero comic book franchise. But it just makes sense because Guardians of the Galaxy made money. Here it is right here on Box Office Mojo. It made $845 million worldwide off of a $250 million budget. And so a lot of people say that the studio wants to make at least 2.5 times the budget for them to break even or feel like they had a respectable profit. So with me doing the math right here, they made 3.38 times the budget. Did I do that right? Yeah. Yeah, I did. Cuz 250* 3 is 750. So they made they made over three times the budget. So they are well into profit land. It wouldn't make any sense for them not to make a Guardians of the Galaxy volume 4 because it's profitable. It's profitable. But there are other franchises in Marvel Studios that I am more excited about than Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 4. So, let's go ahead and move on to honorable mention number four. And this is going to be Midnight Suns. Now, a lot of this has to do with Blade, Ghost Rider, Moonnight, Werewolf, and to be honest with you, I don't know much about Midnight Suns, but I think it's cool. I like Moonnight from the Disney Plus show that we got and that was my introduction to the character. I love Blade and we're going to be talking about Blade and I really do like Ghost Rider. And so, with Ghost Rider being announced and Blade on the horizon, I know Mahers Ali just came out with his comments, so we're going to talk about that in a second. But if we're getting a Ghost Rider movie, eventually we're most likely going to get a Midnight Suns movie. So that's why Midnight Suns is coming in for my fourth honorable mention. Coming in at number five is Antman 4. Yes, I like the Ant-Man franchise. You guys may not. And yes, Ant-Man and the Was Quantum Mania part three wasn't the best, but part one and two was really, really good. And it's also profitable. These are some of the less expensive franchises in the MCU. If we look at this first, Ant-Man, only $130 million budget, and it made 519 million worldwide. So, let's go ahead and do the math, right? Bam. Okay, it made four times the budget, 3.99. Okay, and if we look at Ant-Man and the Wasp, it's pretty much the same thing as far as profitability. it made more money. So 622 6741 139 divided by 130. And so four So the first Ant-Man made four times the budget. This made 4.7 times the budget. So there's no reason why you shouldn't want to do another one. Now let me go to Google real quick. Uh Aman and the Was Quantum Mania. Uh no. So that I think this was okay. It says 162 men. I thought it was 130 as well. So if we take and then we bring up this 622. So let me clear the calculator. 622 674 139. What was that? Was it 162 million? 162 million. So where's my calculator? Divided by 162. Bam. It made 3.8 3.84 times the budget. So part one made 3.99 times the budget. We're going to round that up to four. Part two made 3.8.4 3.84 times the budget. And at the minimum, the studio wants to do 2.5. So, the first two was profitable. First two was profitable. I don't know why, but for part three, they wanted to balloon the budget all the way up to $200 million and which was not a good idea. They should have kept it at the 130 or whatever. But let me do that right there. What was the production budget? What? Quantum mania a gross production budget? That's a damn lie. That is a damn lie. Pre-production and filming is 194. I Before I said this, I was like, "Yes, 200 million. Ain't no hell." What? Due to the massive financial return, due to the massive 320 million plus spending baseline, and auxiliary uh is this accurate, y'all? Why would you spend 320 million on Ant-Man? I I don't believe that. I don't I don't believe that. I'm I'm early industry tracking by Variety and other outlets initially gets a standard of 200 million. I'm I'm going with a $200 million. I could be wrong, but it didn't do well. Even Even if it's at 200 million and then you you do this right here, that's still not enough. That's barely over two times. So, yeah, they they dropped the ball. And guess what guys, it was not because of Jonathan Majors, okay? He was the best Kane, he was the best part of the movie. World on the street was y'all didn't want to go in that direction of Kang being the villain in phase 4 of the MCU because that movie Ant-Man and the Was Quantum Mania underperformed. It wasn't because of Jonathan Major. He was the best part. The the the bad thing was the script that y'all wrote. Ant-Man 4, you know, two out of three were good. The last one lost money, but I like the franchise. You can either go back to where not Paul Rod's character, but was it Michael Douglas and Michelle Feifer and Lawrence Fishburn when they, you know, Hank Pam like back in the day like 60s and 70s or it can just do a modernday current time of uh Ant-Man 4. But that that's what I'm down for. I'm down for uh an Ant-Man 4. That's uh the number five honorable mention. Number two, no, number six honorable mention. I'm pretty sure y'all are really going to disagree with, but I'm going to tell y'all why. Eternals 2, I really did like the Eternals franchise. It wasn't the best thing in the world, but I really did like it. And this is my mindset with Eternals 2 and the reason why I didn't make any money. Uh it here's my reason why I want this, and I think it's important. We have Avengers Doomsday and we have Secret Wars. Those stories are rebooting, resetting the MCU, Marvel universe in some way, shape, or form. If you saw Eternals or if you know the comics, you know the lore. The Eternals, the really these celestials, they are these cosmic beings that design galaxies, universes, etc. So, if a whole universe or universes are crashing together, being deleted, and being reformed, reshaped, and rebooted, they're going to know about it. They're going to have some say in shaping how everything turns out. In my opinion, I could be wrong. Let me let me know experts. And also, if we saw the first Eternals, we know how the last one ended with that big red one, Arsham, and he's the judge and Tiiam was the Eternal that was coming out of the water. And so, yeah. And yeah, again, we got to we got to talk about that. That has to come up in Avengers Doomsday. him are coming out the ground because you know that happened in Eternals and then they addressed it in Brave New World. So yeah, Eternals part two is what I want to see and that is coming in at my number six honorable mention. I'm going to rush through these last ones real quick. I would love to see a Hulk film but Marvel does not own the distribution rights. They own the production rights but not the distribution rights to Hulk. That is a universal property. And also I want to see Neymar. Yes, I know he was introduced in Black Panther Wakanda Forever and I think that was a mistake. I think Oh, y'all can't even see the screen. I'm sorry. Because in Wakanda Forever, instead of us getting to know more of Wakanda, we the screen time was taken over by Neymar. And you know, Neymar should have been introduced in his own movie. So, there we go, guys. Those are my honorable mentions. They did not make the top 10 Marvel movies after Secret Wars, but all right, let's go ahead and get into the top 10. This is exciting right here. All right, so top 10 coming in number one. We're just going to go through the ones that we know that are coming that was already announced. This is coming Black Panther 3, Ryan Cougler came out in Comic-Con this year, 2026, San Diego, and said David Johnson from Alien Romulus and also The Long Walk, the Stephen King novel adaptation film that came out in 2025, is going to be the new Tchala. Not Tchala, our Tchala. Tchala Jr. Ryan, I love you, sir, but you're making a mistake. I would be okay with this if Black Panther 3 was coming out in between Doomsday and Secret Wars because you can just reboot the whole thing and we get a brand new Tach Tala. But if you're killing off the character forever to where we're never going to be able to see Tala again in live action, that's just crazy. That's just wrong. Like no, no, no. But I can make a separate video for that and I already have. Okay, so next we know what's coming is Ghost Rider with Ryan Gosling. This was announced at Comic-Con. Uh, I like the Ghost Rider character. I like Ryan Gosling. I think he's a phenomenal guy. Uh, I mean, I'm just entertained by Ryan Gosling, you know? I mean, I just am. Not saying that he's my favorite actor in the world, but I mean, I'm entertained by him. And I think this is good. Another thing that gets me excited about this property is this is a new character to the MCU, to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that is not an Avenger. Because when the MCU started, it was just all Avengers characters. And that's nothing wrong with that. But now we have our Avengers characters. We have our X-Men characters. We have the Fantastic 4, but now we have these one-off characters that are not in the Avengers at all and are new to the MCU. Not to, you know, we had the Nicholas Cage movies, but this is new to the MCU. Okay. Next. This is pretty obvious. If they don't come out with this, you know, I'm gonna join the Decepticons because it would be BS. But X-Men, we know a X-Men movie is coming. X-Men are coming. Okay, we know this. We know this. It goes without saying X-Men are coming. Okay, now let's the these three right here we know are coming for damn sure. These two were announced. This is not officially announced, but I mean, we know it's coming. Now, the next few are going the next two at least are going to be common sense to me because they made a hell of a lot of money at the box office and Marvel Studios will just be stupid as hell if they don't make these. Next is going to be Spider-Man 5 and that's going to be with Sony of course and Marvel Studios. Look at the freaking box office right now. Spider-Man Brand New Day. It This is the second biggest opening of all time. I think Avengers Doomsday was 357. Hold on. Why? Wait, wait, wait. Cuz I I was I'm filming this Monday morning, guys. The the third and I need to pay my rent. Damn. Um, no. Where's Avengers Endgame? I think Avengers Endgame opening was 357. Yeah, 357. Okay, so that's crazy. So, this is the me this is this is not this is the um estimated. This is not the actual. So, later on this afternoon, this evening, we'll get the actual. But this is crazy, y'all. This is crazy. So, if it's about to make $1 billion in this first weekend, y'all need to get on this. Get on it right now. So, that's why we're going to, you know, Spider-Man 5 should be next. Okay. Next after that, Deadpool 4. Why would you not do a Deadpool 4? Look y'all, Deadpool and Wolverine made $1.3 billion worldwide at the box office and 636 million domestically. So, it made its budget back domestically where they get more money. And this was 2024. So, Marvel Studios again will be stupid as hell if they do not prioritize a Deadpool 4 in my opinion. So, y'all can let me know if you disagree, but yeah. So, I think these are pretty in the bank right here. So, all right. Now, we can't say financially, but I think this is a good bet for number six. Fantastic 4, too. They We just got a Fantastic Four movie last year. We know Marvel loved the first family. So, I'm pretty sure we're gonna get a Fantastic Four movie sequel in the coming years after Secret Wars. I don't remember how much this movie made uh worldwide, but let's take a look real quick. Okay, 521. That's not bad. I I can't remember what the production budget was. $200 million estimated coming to a net around you know they studios want to do it 2.5 times 521 858728 divided by 200 million so 2.6 six times the budget. That's not bad. They could have did better than that. I don't think the studio lost money or anything, but you know, it's warranted that we need to have a Fantastic 4. All right. Now, uh, so that's number six. I'm I y'all respect the list. Y'all know this a good list. After that, Shang Xi 2. Shang Xi Too. Changi did not make any money at the box office unfortunately because I think that was p the p pandemic times and all of that but it was still a good movie. When we get a sequel, let's have less CGI, more practical effects, more handtohand combat. Okay, I may even throw a little video in right now on what I'm looking for. I did enjoy Shane C, But, you know, it was just a whole giant CGI bomb fest at the end. And I I like my old '90s martial arts, my old Kung Fu Husta, my own Shaw brothers, you know what I'm saying? Gordon Lou, all of them back in the day. That's what I want. Shane Chi, let's bring in Jackie Chan, uh, Jet Lee, Donn Yen. Okay, we can we can do it. But yeah, >> I thought I just told I'm not your master. Then please FORGIVE ME. ALLOW ME TO demonstrate the skill of Shaolin, the special technique of shadow boxing. Yes, Shangi 2 is going to be number seven uh for the top 10 after uh Avengers Secret Wars. Coming in at number eight is going to be Doctor Strange 3. Okay, I just think he's a popular enough character to where he needs to have another sequel at least three or four. You know, he still needs to fight Mordor oneonone or and not Mordor. Um what is his name? Um the black guy Chipotle Edgent Force character I'll remember in a second. But uh also Nightmare Dr. Strange villains Baron Mordor. Yeah, Damu, Nightmare, you know, Schumagath, Meisto, I forgot about him, but these are all villains that, you know, Doctor Strange can take care of. And Clea popped up at the end of Doctor Strange 2. So, y'all let me know what y'all think about that. But Doctor Strange 3 should should be one part of the top 10. All right. Now, these this one y'all may disagree with, but I like the character so much. Thor 5. I really do think that we should have a Thor 5. The Thor Ragnarok was the best Thor in movie in the franchise. Thor Love and Thunder was not the best. I didn't hate the movie. It could have been better, but let's look at this right here. Let me just type in Thor. I'll just say Thor Love. How much money did it make? It made money. Unless the budget was stupid, and I don't remember what the budget was. So, even though the movie wasn't the best, it still made some money. Oh, 250. Damn. Okay, so that's a lot, but it's still profitable. Um, yeah. So, if the budget was 250, that's three times the budget. So, just in case y'all don't believe me, 928081 / 250 and that is yeah, three times the budget. So, the movie wasn't the greatest, but it made money. And this is why we I still want to see Thor fight Better Ray Bill or team up with Better Ray Bill. I still want to see Thor have a actual fight against Cersei. Uh, we still haven't seen the Enchantress. Enchantress, if I'm spelling this correctly. I don't know if I am or not, but we still got to fight the Enchant Enchantress. And also, uh, Hercules or Hercule. Yeah. What was his name at the end? Yeah, Hercules. We still have, you know, so these are all these villains or antagonists. Better Bill, Ser, Enchantress, you know, these are all people that Thor can fight and or team up with. So, there's more story to tell is my point. Okay, so Thor, I I do want to see a Thor five. Okay, and last but not least, saving the best for last cuz I still feel like we're going to get it. It's Blade. Blade. Blade. Blade. Blade. Blade. Blade. Blade. Especially since we going to get a Ghost Rider film and maybe a Midnight Suns. Now, you may be saying to yourself, Brandon, what the hell are you talking about? Do you not pay attention to the news? Did you not just hear Mahers Shali call out Marvel talking about if they really wanted to make it they would have Yeah, I have the article right here. I talked about it on my channel. Variety Mahers Sha Ali calls out Marvel for not making Blade. You had me under contract. They have billions of dollars. If they wanted to do it, we would have done it. Peep game, y'all. Peep game. Those are Mahersa Ali's comments. Those are not Kevin Feige. Kevin Feige never came out and said that Blade is cancelled. We are no longer doing it. It may not be prioritized right now, but I don't think it's going away completely. They know that it's a money maker. A lot of people saying that it's a race thing and that they're cancelling all of these black uh properties. No, I'm going to make a separate video for that. I don't want to go too much into that right now. But if that's the case, why are we getting Black Panther 3? Why is Ryan Cougler still at the ham of that franchise? Why did Anthony Mackey just get an Iron Man, not Iron Man, but a Captain America 4 last year? I can go down the list, but I'm gonna make a separate video for that. But mind you, these are Mahers Shali's comments now. He kept fighting. So, let's talk about Mahers Shali. Mahers Shali was doing his thing and somebody asked him a question and he answered and this was his answer. Of course, he has every right to feel this way and he's just getting his side of it. Even if he would have called Marvel, Kevin Feige or the new CEO last week or last month and was like, "Hey, what's the status?" And they didn't have any updates to give him. I can understand why he would be frustrating and give these comments that he did uh in this article and he did in this podcast. Now Kevin Feige in my opin now look we just had Comic-Con a week and a half ago right prior to all of the news being announced of Ghost Rider and a new Black Panther and all of that. I said to myself, I was like, I do not want to hear any news from Blade unless there are three occasions, unless these three things happen because it was announced back seven years ago in 2019 and they keep leading us on with new directors, new writers, cast coming in and out. These are the only time I wanted to hear this is the only um this is the only in case that I wanted to hear some news for Blade at Comic- Con. one either they finished filming like it's in the bag like yeah we we started filming eight months ago y'all and we done we in post-production right now that that's one scenario. The second scenario at least they started filming. Yeah guys we either start filming on this date or we started filming last week. Okay so either they done with filming or they started filming. The last thing, the last scenario that I would want to hear any updates, any news on Blade is if if they didn't finish filming or if they didn't start filming that the script is finished, the director is attached, the writer is attached, and the whole cast is attached, all the tees are crossed, all the eyes are dotted, all the contracts is signed, and at least 97% of the whole studio is an approval of the finished script. If it's not one of those three scenarios, I didn't want to hear nothing about Blade at all because y'all been leading us on for years. Don't say nothing until it's done. So, we didn't get no Blade news. So, that's perfectly fine. And I'm happy with that. I don't want to hear anything about Blade personally until after Doomsday. Actually, I could even go further than that. I don't want to hear any Blade news until after Secret Wars because they're going to be rebooting and and resetting the universe anyway. So y'all got a year and a half to get your Blade script together, get your cast together, get your director together, all of that. But Kevin F, like why they it would be stupid for them to make an announcement right now. Especially since they let us on. So I think Kevin Feige is smart keeping his mouth shut about Blade. We still going to get a Blade movie. It's just not right now. And I I mean I was even happy with this 2 or 3 years ago when Doomsday as soon as they announced Doomsday in Secret of Wars I was like they're not going to be having a Shane Chi 2 or Monica Ro Rambo coming back or Blade like let's reset the universe because I honestly feel like a Doomsday story and a secret war story is still too early in the MCU cuz that that story is just so gigantic. It's one of the biggest stories in in Marvel comics. But that is one of the only ways that you can bring the X-Men in is rebe. So it's kind of like they have to do it now. So instead of just throwing out all these arbitrary sequels like Fantastic 4, Shane Chi, and rushing a Blade movie, it's like, okay, let's get this Doomsday and Secret Wars out of the way so that we can reboot everything, reset everything softly or hard, and then, you know, have, you know, our Avengers movies, our X-Men movies, our Fantastic 4 movies, our space movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, our supernatural movies like Blade, um Ghost Rider, Midnight Suns, werewolf and all that stuff, Swamp Thing, whatever. So, yeah, we gonna get a Blade movie. So, I'm I'm not even worried about it. I'm I'm pretty confident that we're going to get a Blade movie. So, let's go uh through this one more time real quick, guys. Uh my list that y'all know is bomb as hell. Honorable mentions is Iron Man 4/ Armor Wars, Nova, Guardians of the Galaxy 4, Midnight Suns, Ant-Man 4, Eternals 2, Hulk, and Neymar. Those are the honorable mentions, but the top 10 is Black Panther 3, Ghost Rider, X-Men, Spider-Man 5, Deadpool 4, Fantastic 4, Shang Chi 2, Doctor Strange 3, Thor 5, and Blade is going down. It's right, you know, y'all let me know. So, yeah, this is the top 16, no, top 18 movies coming out. So, what Oh, damn.
