Maafushi Full Island Walking Tour: Bikini Beach to Maafushi Prison

So, hi everyone. Today we are here on Maafushi Island and actually today is our second day, right? And today guys we are going to show you the whole Maafushi from north to south. So, this is the north side of the Maafushi Island and in front of us guys is the big park. >> It's a nice park here. >> So, it's very colorful because look at that there is like crayons, you know, and there are swings and slides. >> That section is for kids. I think probably adults too, but kids can play. And then here we saw some like you know nice chairs. >> chairs >> The traditional chairs I think Joali. And we're just going going to head over to the bikini beach and from there we will take the main street to cut through the island from north to south. So, you'll have a good idea of what Maafushi looks like. >> And I there's a parasailing there going on. >> So, you can see there's parasailing there and there's a nice kind of rocked uh extension. You can go close to the water. >> And today is very good weather, you know. >> Ex- excellent weather. So, and it's a kind of windy right now because we are by the shore, but I think we Once you're on the main street, the wind is not going to be this kind of like in a strong wind. >> Yeah. And good thing, you know, whenever uh we're here on Maldives, it doesn't rain. >> Yeah, so >> It's always good weather. >> Yeah, so we >> cloudy, but not rain. >> So, we are traveling on the rainy season, but it's still we are getting good weather every day. And because we are traveling on the low season, we are paying much lesser for everything, like, you know, accommodation, food. So, that's a tip about Maldives. Come on the rainy season and you're going to be paying a lot lesser than coming in the dry season. >> So, it's better to go to come like this season. >> Yeah. Yeah, it's like, you know, May to uh May to October. No, May to November is rainy season and December to April is dry season. You can see that it's not like, you know, very uh long beach. It's a small portion, but that's a Bikini Beach, and this is on local Maafushi Island, and this is the only Bikini Beach on this island, and I think on the southern tip there's another beach, which is not a Bikini Beach. And that's like a uh no bikini beach. But for bikini beach, this is the part to come. So, we're turning onto Harbor Street. And walking lady should be somewhere here. Okay. I don't see her right here, and this is Kani Hotel. So, let's keep walking. And here you'll find lots of like, you know, uh tour shops, stores, and restaurants. No alcohol is allowed, so if you see bar, that means that those are non-alcoholic uh drinks. So, we're going to turn onto Main Street very shortly. Uh because, you know, this is it doesn't go that far. It's going to end very soon there. But right now I'm going to Oh, actually I see water walking lady there. So, she's coming here.
