Video summary
The video documents the arrival experience at Maafushi island in the Maldives, highlighting the transition from a large ship to a short boat ride and a five-minute walk to the Triton Beach Hotel. Upon reaching the island, viewers are introduced to the local infrastructure, which includes three main roads with essential amenities such as pharmacies, banks, and police stations located along Habaru road. The narrator emphasizes that crossing the island from east to west takes approximately fifteen minutes, while walking the full length of the island requires about forty-five minutes. Practical travel advice is shared regarding the necessity of carrying a passport for hospital visits and the availability of water sports centers that offer significant discounts to hotel guests.
A key feature discussed is the unique layout of Bikini Beach, which is located exclusively at the northern tip of the island, distinguishing it from other areas where swimwear might not be appropriate. The hotel provides free sunbeds for guests who wish to visit this specific beach area. In terms of dining and local culture, the video showcases a variety of breakfast options ranging from international items like pancakes, donuts, and grilled tomatoes to traditional Maldivian dishes such as roshi, a type of roti often served with tuna and grated coconut. The narrator also notes that pork is not available in the country due to cultural and religious reasons, substituting it with chicken sausages instead.
The accommodation review focuses on Room 208, which features a queen-sized bed, a balcony, a closet, and notably, a safety box—a feature the traveler appreciates after staying at previous hotels that lacked one. The room also includes a small workstation table, which is praised as a welcome addition compared to other resorts. While the bathroom is described as spacious and functional with a rain shower, the narrator points out that the balcony does not offer a view of the ocean or surroundings. Additionally, the hotel's swimming pool is situated directly in front of the dining area, a layout the reviewer finds less ideal despite the overall quality of the facilities.
Overall, the video concludes with a positive assessment of the Triton Beach Hotel, noting that the water sports activities are significantly cheaper than those found at other island resorts. The breakfast spread is presented as diverse and satisfying, featuring fresh fruit salads, various breads, juices, and local specialties. Despite minor observations about the pool location and the lack of a view from the balcony, the travelers express satisfaction with their stay, finding the room comfortable and well-equipped for a relaxing vacation in the Maldives.

the bikini beach.
>> Yeah.
I think that's for a street.
The sign is
Yeah, street.
Street.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
This is the bikini beach. Just 1 second.
I just want to have a pic.
So.
So guys, this is the bikini beach where
you can wear bikini and there's only one
bikini beach on this island and this is
kind of the north tip of the island.
What is that?
Oh, bicycle. Okay.
11, okay.
>> Coca-Cola factory? Do you know where is
it?

We need to go to this souvenir shop.
Oh, okay. That's our hotel.
>> Okay, try from this.
>> Oh, okay. That's nice.
All right, thank you.
Thank you.
>> Please have a seat.
>> Okay.
So, this is the hotel?

Okay, you can have a seat here.
So, this is the lobby area.
Oh, so what this is orange?
>> It's like a mixed fruit.
>> Mixed fruit, okay.
>> Thank you.
>> You're welcome.
>> Thank you. Okay.
We'll just rest for a while, okay?
So guys, this is the dining area.
And this is the pool.
And our room is 208.
8
So, we're going to take the elevator.
So, there's a pool table. I'm going to
get this
one.
So, let's go the second floor.
So, that's our room.
There's a balcony here, but
they told me this hotel each room has
has view like this.
So, guys, once we enter, so here looks
like I like they have a workstation, a
small table. Because other hotels we
stayed, they didn't have this, so we
have been missing this one. And there's
like, you know,
coffee water
which is right here.
And uh
this is looks like queen bed or king
bed?
>> Queen.
>> Queen, looks like queen. And then this
is like, you know, the room. And then
there's the closet right here. And they
have they give an umbrella. And what is
this here?
Okay, I think that's it this time.
>> No, there is a comforter and a safe.
>> Oh, it's very tight.
Safe. Okay, so there's a
safety box.
Which is right here. So, the other hotel
we were just coming out of, they they
didn't have any safety box.
And this is the balcony
we saw before, but you know, it has no
view, so no point going outside. Now,
let me show you the washroom.
And this is the washroom.
Uh
this is not bad, bigger than what we had
in Hulhumalé.
Because the one we had in Hulhumalé, we
couldn't even move. And there's the
like, you know, rain shower, regular
shower. And they provided shampoo and
all that stuff, so washroom is not bad.
So, overall,
you know, we cannot complain. Uh happy
with the room. And this is Triton Beach
Hotel
on Maafushi island in the Maldives.
Hey guys, so this is our first
breakfast at the Triton Beach Hotel. And
you see that they have a swimming pool
right there. But I don't like this idea
the swimming pool is right in front of
the dining area. So, I'm just going to
show you quickly what we are having for
breakfast this morning. So, here
starting with the fruit salad
and then I see they have watermelon and
oranges and then here's like, you know,
uh looks like some kind of cake and the
donuts.
And then we have uh boiled eggs here and
beef sausage and the sausage is uh you
know, this is uh chicken there's no pork
in the Maldives.
And then we have here grilled tomato
mushroom which looks like like this.
And then we have tuna panini which is
like this.
And then
we have here
veg fusilli fusilli
and which is like this and then we have
pancake
pancake and then there's uh masuni tuna
and
uh grated coconut. Okay, so this is a
very popular Maldivian dish. We had that
uh at our resort and this is roshi which
is basically roti.
And then here we have uh brown and white
bread and then butter and jam and then
coffee. Actually, these are for juice.
Coffee uh the guy asked me what we want
for coffee and then he's making it.
And we are sitting right here.
So, basically that's the breakfast for
today.
