This comes after an 11-month investigation. Investigators say the victims wired nearly $200,000 to purchase vacant land in Orange City after it was legitimately listed through a local real estate office. Detectives say the property was fraudulently listed for sale by suspects posing as the actual owners. The victims ultimately wired their money to a fraudulent business account. A detective say that the property was fraudulently listed for sale by suspects uh posing as the actual owner. According to the investigation, fake identification was uh provided to the real estate office which believed u it was communicated with the legitimate property owners. The victim ultimately wired the money to the fraudulent business account. So, she was going to she fake bought the land, then she turned around and purchased it herself to get that paperwork, right? Now, she might this might have been her first time like somebody else I know. I'm not going to say no names, but somebody else I know went and tried to do something and put their name on paperwork. And when you put your name on paperwork and you start trying to go pick up different things, vehicles, houses, anything you try to pick up, these folk got a paper trail to you. Now, you I don't care if you take No, I'm not doing that with you, OG. I'mma cut that out. But but when these people got this paper trail to you, you can't really uh move like that cuz they know you they know your whereabouts. You got your face on the damn ID. So you giving your face card away. Uh uh uh you you you putting your name your your government name on this paperwork or even if it's a fraudulent name, they're going to link it back. They got some stuff that OG and you talked about this. I didn't know about it as much when we talked about the prisoners getting out. You showed, you know, we talked about the facial recognition. Your mind would have to be warped to go and try to figure out a way to do something with your face on it and try to think that you gonna walk away with some with with a with a with a piece of property that values probably more than 198,000.
