Video summary
Welcome to the Lone Fox Los Angeles store tour, a space that feels surreal yet incredibly exciting as it showcases a curated collection of vintage and contemporary goods available both online and in-person. The shop is designed with various vignettes throughout its layout, allowing visitors to visualize how furniture pieces might fit into their own living rooms while browsing items sourced from favorite vendors like La Soufflerie for hand-blown glassware or eBay for grand general store cabinets that have been re-trimmed and updated with modern lighting. While most of the inventory can be purchased online with shipping across the United States, certain heavy books and unique vintage smalls are exclusively available in-store to avoid high shipping costs and because they sell too quickly to maintain an online stock.
The tour highlights several distinct areas, starting from a sitting area near the entrance that features reupholstered 1940s chairs with zebra fabric and leads into a cash wrap styled like a boutique hotel lobby using striped wallpaper and a historic nineteenth-century counter. The ground floor also includes a bathroom painted in French Gray by Farrow & Ball and a cozy den filled with household goods, copper accents, and custom pillows made from fabrics selected specifically for the shop. This lower level emphasizes innovative DIY touches, such as painting niche interiors Oval Room Blue to contrast with wood tones, and utilizing repurposed furniture like draper's tables with multiple tiers to maximize display space while keeping backstock hidden behind curtains in a storage area that extends deep into the building.
Moving upstairs reveals a second floor characterized by high ceilings, a kitchenette featuring pink marble countertops and blue cabinetry from Ila Porter, and an impressive vintage burl root bar weighing around 300 pounds. This upper level serves as both a furniture showroom attached to the warehouse for easy restocking and a styling area with zones dedicated to dining sets, sofas, and art mirrors that add character to the space. The upstairs also offers a unique shopping experience where visitors can browse an ever-changing collection of vintage items like copper trays and studio pottery that are not available online, all while looking out over La Brea Boulevard through windows adorned with custom curtains from Two Pages that enhance the room's dramatic atmosphere.
Throughout the video, the creator expresses immense gratitude for the support received on their channel and shares personal insights into the challenges and joys of transforming a space into a functional retail environment. The store is presented as more than just a place to buy goods; it is an immersive experience where every detail, from the slipper satin wall finishes to the adjustable Helix comfort pillows featured in a sponsorship segment, contributes to a cohesive aesthetic that blends vintage charm with modern functionality. As the tour concludes, the creator invites viewers to visit the shop in person or explore their online store for items they cannot find locally, promising future DIY projects and makeovers now that this major project is complete.

Hello everybody. Welcome to the Los
Angeles Lone Fox store. I cannot believe
I'm saying those words out of my mouth,
but it is pretty loud out here. So, come
on in. I want to give you a tour of the
space.

>> Welcome everybody to the Lone Fox store.
This is Lone Fox Los Angeles and I
cannot believe I'm making a video. This
feels so surreal right now talking to
you guys about how I have a store. It's
just crazy to even say that and like to
look behind me and see everything that
we put together and this is a small
little taste of what we have done. You
guys are in for such a treat. I'm so
excited to share this space with you.
You guys have already seen the breakdown
of this space on the channel and if you
haven't, I'll link the videos below all
the entire series I did for creating
this store which I wasn't very big. So,
definitely give it a watch if you have
not. I'm so excited for you guys to come
and experience this space in person for
yourself. I am going to give you all the
information of course in the description
box below on the store. Heading on over,
the door is right in front of me like
right here and this is our first little
kind of sitting area. I sort of wanted
to create vignettes in here so that you
can imagine the furniture maybe in your
own living room or you can imagine
different ways to put pieces together
and so I used a lot of the vintage
pieces I sourced for my online store and
every single thing that you see in the
store a mass majority is also available
online. So, all the furniture you can
also purchase it online. So, if you see
anything in this video and you're like,
I need this cabinet right here. This is
available online and can ship to you
anywhere in the United [music] States.
We also have some really great
contemporary goods throughout the store
and a lot of books as well which
actually are not available online
because it's hard to ship books. The
margins on books are really low so
shipping actually eats up a lot of the
cost when you have a heavy book like
this. Just something to note. And so we
can offer them in stores. We have a wide
variety of things I love to use, such as
our glassware cabinet over here. And you
guys probably saw I sourced this general
store cabinet actually from an eBay
seller, and it's one of my favorite
pieces. It's just so grand, and I love
the detailing and the trim work on the
top. We cleaned it up and re-trimmed the
front of all the drawers and actually
added this lighting to the underside,
which looks so good. And then this
houses all of the glassware. And a
majority of this is from one of my
favorite glassware companies, La
Soufflerie, which is a French glassware
company. Everything is hand-blown. So,
if you kind of get in close on some of
these, every single glass is different.
Like there's different bubbles, there's
they're different sizes, they're
different shapes. And so I love that
about this company. They kind of feel
vintage, but they're just handmade. And
I have some of my favorite pewter bits
here that we offer. And I'm just excited
for you guys to explore the store. I
don't want to give every single little
product away because you have to come
see it for yourself.
Bathroom. It's right [music] here. If
you need to take
number two or number one, feel free to
use this restroom right here. It will
have a handle by the time you guys
arrive. At the moment it doesn't. And
[music] this is painted French gray by
Farrow & Ball. And the walls, if you're
curious, are slipper satin by Farrow &
Ball because I feel like some of you
guys are wondering maybe what the wall
color is. It's a really pretty ivory
color. Over here is our cash wrap. And I
love This is probably one of my favorite
areas in the store. Like I want to live
back here, you guys. I just love how
this turned out. We did some great
wallpaper in here. It's a striped
wallpaper. I actually ordered samples
from this website I found and fell in
love with this striped one. [music] And
I got this tapestry, and it had a frame
on it. It just felt perfect in this
space. And this [music] counter, too.
This is actually a general store counter
from like the 19th century and it had a
placard on the front that got ripped off
so I added this one. Found it on Etsy.
This here kind of covers our POS system.
It's a fireplace screen so I did a lot
of like little innovative touches and
like DIY [music] elements to make this
space really feel grand and elevated and
put together. Like I feel like it kind
of feels like a little boutique hotel
lobby.
>> [music]
>> This is where you would check out, get
your items packed up. We have all our
different packing supplies behind this
curtain over here as well so I used this
[music] niche to its fullest potential.
Love these chairs [music] too. I have
reupholstered these. Um they're like a
1940s I believe chair and we did this
zebra fabric which is so cool and I'll
go into the green room in a bit you guys
because I want to get through this first
floor with you but we're going to go in
there in just a minute. So let me take
you over here.
Here is kind of some more vignettes.
This lower level had a bunch of
different niches. Some of them had
arches, some of them were straight so I
ended up curving and rounding all the
corners just to kind of soften it and
then I painted the inside of this one
here a color called Oval Room Blue and
it's so beautiful so highly recommend
[music] this if you have a home and you
want like a really stunning sky blue
color cuz this one's so great and it
pairs beautifully with wood as well
which I love cuz I have so much wood in
the store and it's my favorite material
to use in my projects so I find myself
using blue a lot to contrast with the
orange.
One too many times before
[music and singing]
ended up staring in the bathroom mirror
crying on the bathroom
>> Working over here, we have just another
kind of vignette, an area that I can
style some of our pieces. This is a
Jeanerette bench, and we have a set of
these, which are stunning, and these
couches are insane. They're just like a
beautiful mohair sofa that we redid in
this gray color.
Our large bookshelf here houses some of
our custom pillows. I picked out all of
the fabrics for these pillows, so I did
like a fun plaid on this one, and we did
the same in the piping on the edge. And
we have this one, which is like a
greenish mohair with a stripe, and we
have an orange linen with a blue linen
piping. These are only available in
store at the moment, and hopefully we'll
get them online um at some point, but
I'm ex- so excited to have my own first
product kind of that we've made for the
shop. and just like things that you can
style with for your home that I love and
I use in all my projects. [music] So,
that's sort of the downstairs area. Oh,
I have to also share with you guys our
lovely little basket section. This,
right when you walk in the front door,
which is here, you can pick up a basket,
and these took so long to source. I
wanted to find a basket that you can
literally carry around with you that was
kind of cute, but also held products and
was sturdy, and I love these. They're
great. These are like little wicker
shopping baskets, so you can pick one up
and start shopping if you'd like when
you walk in, um which is so fun, and it
just adds to the vibe. I really wanted
to create this kind of like general
store experience. Let me take you guys
up into our green room area, because
this is what I'm calling the den, and it
has so [music] much, so let's go. Before
popping in the den, I want to give a big
shout-out to today's video sponsor,
which is Helix. [music] And yes, Helix
sells mattresses, but something I have
to tell you guys is a good night's sleep
[music] is what got me through every
single day of creating this store. Like
I did this very quickly, I would like to
say. And my Helix mattress was something
I look forward to every single night to
come home to. If you think about it, you
spend nearly a third of your life on
your mattress. So, having a good quality
mattress that supports [music] your
sleep and your everyday just tasks that
you have to do is extremely important.
And Helix, I love how they offer a sleep
quiz cuz it pairs you up with a mattress
that's perfect for your body type based
off how you like to sleep, if you're hot
when you're sleeping, your kind of sleep
position. It pairs you up with a perfect
mattress that's shipped directly to your
doorstep in a box. And you have a
100-day sleep trial. So, if it's not for
you, the return process is super simple
and easy. They will come and pick up
your mattress. And I don't want you guys
to just hear this from me. These are
real comments left by Lone Fox family
members over the last couple years on my
channel that I've been promoting Helix.
[music] And there are so many comments
that are just so thankful for the
recommendation of [music] Helix and
having a Helix mattress that they added
to their home. So, I just want to let
you guys know that these are a great,
[music] great investment. And they don't
only offer mattresses, they also have
mattress toppers. So, if you're not
looking for a full-on mattress upgrade,
you can also introduce something like a
mattress topper, [music] which they
offer. And now, they also offer their
new comfort adjust cooling pillow. So,
you can literally adjust the comfort of
these pillows [music] based off of
however you want to sleep. You all know
we love a DIY around here, and this is
essentially like DIYing [music] your own
perfect pillow for your best night's
sleep every single night. So, I love
that you can adjust this and then just
zip it back. is a company you don't have
to worry about ordering from because
they offer free shipping in the US, a
10-year warranty, and flexible payment
plans and financing options. But, the
best part of all is Helix is offering an
exclusive partner membership for you
guys for Memorial Day, and you get 27%
off when you click my link in the
description box below.
Welcome to the den. This is what I'm
calling this little space because it's
kind of dark, it's moody, and it feels
like a little cave almost. And in here,
I really went for it. We did so much
shelving. I found this incredible unit
from a company called Obsolete, and I
put it on top of this base that we
created and added a curtain to the
bottom in this lovely little block
print. And this displays so many of our
household goods, like plates and
dinnerware and candle holders and
blankets [music] and towels and soaps
and lotions and different things like
that. We [music] even have this like
copper section. And I just love how this
entire area came together. It's just
such a fun area to look at and browse.
Well, everything's also priced, you
guys, so you don't have to like ask. You
know, sometimes you go into stores and
they're like don't have prices and
you're like, "How much is this?" And
they're like, "Oh, that's
if today's a hundred." And you're like,
"Oh, what that?"
>> [music]
>> This also was a great find. I was
looking for a draper's table for so long
that was really big because I think in
retail, especially, like a table's
really under utilized if you're not
utilizing the bottom section of it. So,
I wanted to find one that had two tiers
to it that I could display products on
both. That's what I did. So, I put this
in the center of the room, and I love
how this turned out. I also found this
on eBay. These shelves behind me, I
love. They were actually from Facebook
Marketplace, believe it or not. It was
five hundred dollars for all three of
them. When I saw them, I immediately
booked somebody to pick them up because
I was like, "We need these in the
space." And they had these channels for
the LED lights. So, we painted them
green and added the lights in them, and
it just fills in this wall perfectly. I
wanted every kind of area in this room
to be utilized, and there's actually a
curtain here, which provides backstock
storage. So, behind here, it goes back
like another 25 ft or like 20 ft and we
have back stock for all of the products
inside of here, which is really nice in
case we need to replenish any of them.
This kind of lit up area houses a lot of
vintage. So, we have like art and
some really cool Barovier lights and a
salt and pepper shaker. There's just
some fun stuff that you can look at.
>> [music]
>> And [music] then as you work your way
around there's just more household
goods. These great scissors um that are
made out of brass. We have pot holders,
cutting boards, blankets, pots, baskets,
taper candles. There's really something
for everybody. So, these are so cute,
too. The little horse mugs. I love these
ones. We even have these great
silverware sets, which I'm super excited
about. These are coming in like I think
a set of like 40 or 50 and [music] it's
like $90, I believe. It's a really great
price and the style of them is really
nice.
>> [music]
>> This room just has a bunch of smaller
goods. So, if you were looking for a
gift or a quick little purchase, this is
a room you would head to when you get
into the store. But, I think it's time
for me to kind of head back down to the
first level and we're going to walk up
the stairs to level two because there is
a second [music] level of shopping. This
is kind of like our level 1.5, aka the
den. So, let's head upstairs.
We're at the top of the stairs and you
are not even ready for level two. So,
let me share with you guys the second
floor of Lone Fox Los Angeles. This is
the second floor and the thing I love
about this floor is first of all how
tall the ceilings are, but it also has a
kitchen. I'm literally skimming past
everything because look how beautiful
this pink marble is. I don't really
remember if I put this in like the full
YouTube video before, so I'm not sure
how much you guys have seen of this
kitchen. All the cabinetry is from Ila
Porter and it is stunning. This is the
minivan colorway and it actually did the
York cabinet doors. So, it's this really
lovely kind of like reeded look on there
and then we did this wood. I believe
this is is the Tandy color of wood that
they offer. I did some shelves in here.
I also did it in the range hood [music]
and in the island. So, it just contrasts
so beautifully in this space with the
pink marble. I wanted to do a fun marble
in here and I was really gravitated
towards this pinky salmon color when I
saw it and I thought it would be perfect
with the blue cabinetry. It's actually
not a fully functioning [music] kitchen,
meaning this grill is literally a stove
top that's just set on top of here. Um,
but it's for the vibes, you guys. Like
we sell a lot of kitchen goods. I wanted
to have this space in the entire store
just to emulate the feeling of a house
and it's also great for styling. It's
great for our online photo shoots. It's
going to be great for events. All
around, it's going to be just really,
really nice to have this in the space
and I'm really happy I was able to
incorporate this.
>> [music]
[music]
>> And then over to the right of this,
actually, there's this really cool bar.
This is a piece that we have for sale.
It's a vintage burl root bar. It's
crazy. It's like a massive chunk. It's
like 300 lb. Behind this is a curtain
and I have to also give a humongous
shout-out to [music] my favorite curtain
brand ever, which is Two Pages. I adore
them. Their curtains are stunning and
they just always get everything [music]
so top-notch, perfectly correct. And
it's crazy how quick they get you your
curtains. Like they're custom-made to
your dimensions, how you want them, in
the color you want, the fabric, and they
get them to you so [music] fast. So, I'm
just so grateful for the curtains in the
space. They look and add so much drama
[music] to the entire upstairs space.
And we also have them downstairs as well
in the green room. Upstairs is primarily
more furniture-focused just because it
is attached to our warehouse, which is
right behind this wall. If you guys
recall, I added in this entire wall
here. So, our warehouse is back there
and I wanted to be able to really
feature a lot of our furniture up on
this level. That way, in case it sells,
we can just transfer into the warehouse
and then it can be picked up there. So,
I did some vignettes. We have like a
little dining table one here with these
great 1920s Dutch chairs. They have this
like little foot on them that's so cool.
All reupholstered in a new chenille.
[music] This great little sitting area
as well that kind of showcases one of
our sofas and some chairs. And then this
section over here that has an armoire,
but I'm just so excited to be able to
consistently style this and kind of see
it [music] ever change. I wanted to sort
of create some zones. That way, in case
I'm not here or something sells, we can
kind of replace an armoire with an
armoire [music] and it will still
somewhat keep the look of the space
going.
>> [music]
>> We're in this area. This is kind of some
more of our vintage because you guys
love the vintage smalls. So, I wanted to
make sure we had a bunch of those. So, I
stocked the bookshelf full of
>> [music]
>> vintage smalls, um really cool copper
trays, studio pottery, other really
great pieces like bookends that you can
add to your home, and just like an
ever-changing collection of vintage
because it actually tends to sell quite
quickly. Um and we're going to have a
different assortment of vintage smalls
in store than we do have online. So, all
of the smalls that you see here are
actually not available online. They're
just going to be an in-store piece just
because we can't even keep them in stock
online. So, I don't know how we're going
to keep them in stock in store. We're
going to have to see. A little recap.
This is our lovely little upstairs area.
There actually is a section behind me as
well. Let me give you a tour of that.
This is our last little corner of the
upstairs section. This is just right to
the right of the entryway and I have a
sideboard here and this is sort of our
mirror wall. Um, I added all these
different art mirrors that I just
adore. These pieces [music] they add so
much character to a home. So, I wanted
to highlight and showcase a lot of them
here and this sideboard actually just
sold online. So, it's headed out and
then we're going to replace it with a
new one. And this area is just kind of
some more little fun accessories. You
can actually see out to the street. I
mean, in all the windows you can see out
to the street. This is La Brea right
here and it's such a busy street. Like,
there's a billion cars. I can see them
coming. And the craziest thing is is
when the cars stop out here, I notice
them looking up and admiring the
building which I love because I never
noticed that before and we repainted the
outside. We added awnings, made it look
a lot more just beautiful. And now
there's lots of stuff in the windows too
that you can actually see. So, I think
people are starting to wonder what is
happening and I'm so excited for you
guys to also come and enjoy this space.
So, if you want to check out the shop,
come by, see what we have, definitely do
so and I just want to thank you guys all
so much for the [music] continued
support here on the channel. I cannot
wait to get back into my projects
because this has been such a big project
but now that the store is complete, I am
ready to dive back into my DIYs, into my
makeovers and don't you worry, I have
one coming for you guys very soon. So,
I'll catch you in my next one. Bye.
>> Mhm.
