>> Now, do you guys remember when Durk
famously rap those lyrics, "Delete my
iCloud if I think they're really on me,
though." Well, apparently deleting your
iCloud doesn't actually help. There were
messages that couldn't be recovered.
Apparently, Durk had moved smart in some
ways because he had deleted iCloud
messages. There were, you know, burner
phones that couldn't be traced back to
him. Apparently, the feds had contacted
Verizon and other cell carriers. and it
was so long from the murder that they
couldn't get the cell, you know, the
cellular site records or any of the
location records or a lot of the old
stuff that was over a year old from
those phones. So, in some ways, Durk had
moved smart. We saw this group chat
where he had basically said, you know,
delete the conversation, delete the
iCloud backups, delete all of that
stuff. But it turned out that none of
that mattered. You know why? Because
every time Dirt got a new number and a
new burner phone, he took it home and he
connected it to his home Wi-Fi. The same
home Wi-Fi that Vonnie's phone was
connected to. That same Wi-Fi IP address
was identified by the feds. It connected
to Durk's numerous iCloud accounts that
were put on his different phones. He got
a burner phone 3 days after the murder
that he basically connected to an iCloud
a new iCloud account. Got a new account,
new iCloud account, new phone, new
number, connect to the same old Wi-Fi
router in his house that connected to
the IP.

this uh first of all guys, make sure you

this is a guy, you know, of course, uh,
he's been reporting. He goes in there
every day and listen to him, uh, talk
about, um, this little Durk trial. And
he's talking about these phones, man.

The ping towers is the same towers that

you can go get a whole damn new router
and you still on the same damn towers
being pinged cuz that's how you getting

Okay, that ain't what that is. Okay, I
was on something else. FBI uh
supervisors uh special agents Cody Burke
testified Wednesday that investigators
identified approximately 17 numbers used
by Durk between December 2017 and
October 2024. Prosecutors focused
heavily on two numbers connected with
Lil Durk around the uh August 19, 2022
shooter that killed Lil Pub Lil Pub and
uh near the uh Beverly Center. The
government's theory is that Lil Durk
switched his number shortly after the
attack uh to conceal his communications.
Prosecutors say,

was in Jamaica and my uh my phone didn't

give me a a phone here, I I didn't come

he could have a plethora of reasons for
having 17 different phones. He have 17

P was fatally uh wounded. Berg testified
that one number connected to Lil Durk's
ending with 9595 was activated around
the time of the shooting. The subscriber
was listed under the generic name of
John Doe. Uh investigators determined
that Lil Durk started using the uh
another number in it with 3853 on August
22nd, 2 days after prosecutors say it
was uh purchased and 3 days after Lil
Pub was killed. So they're doing the
same thing
when it come to the phones, when it come
to the movement of communications, when
it come to these trials. They a lot of
the trial is based off of the
communication, the devices that are
being used. Uh where you at at the time
is signified by the movement you made
with the cell phone. If the cell phone
was here, they feel like you was here.
If you was texting, they can go in and
receive your text messages. We know that
this is happening, but we still continue
to rely heavily on our phones. And
that's why they used to have burner
phones. You remember burner phone, flip
phones, they used to keep those.
>> That's that's where that's where burner
phones wire made burner phones burnt
them out in Baltimore. You had burner
phones. But they could go back to the
store and that the wire shows how they
start listing burner phones. So then
they start putting sale towers up with
accident points. So that's why you see
all these sale towers in the
neighborhoods. That's why you know the
biggest fault that they have is right
when the government start putting in
agents and using phones why they call
them Obama phones right negro. So that
once you get that phone uh a crackhead
or somebody on welfare go get an Obama
phone and he give it to a dope dealer
and a dope dealer take it in his house.
He think he got a burner phone, but like
you say, it goes to that tower. Now, you
can tell about Okay. Little Durk used
all these different phones, but they
wasn't in LA.

Durk allegedly sent the number to five
other contacts with the message new
number from Dirk. Records showed that
the telephone was purchased from a
Verizon store in Woodland Hills August
the 20th. It was registered and prepaid
to a prepaid customer and paid for with
the American Express card bearing Lil
Durk's name. They are really, really,
really focusing in on these phones,
these conversations, where you were at,
when the murder happened, how did you
act after the murder happened, how was
you moving in, were you moving
different, did you go immediately and
get a new phone? They really trying to
nail narrow it down. be the the defense
yesterday was talking to Vonnie, his his
his manager, the dude that was that they
arrested in a five-star hotel, was
living good, doing and he had access to
all of Little Durk stuff and finds out
that King Vaughn was one of his
relatives. So, who had more of a a a
incentive to do something than Bonnie?

>> That's what the defense brought out
yesterday. Like you have access to all
of his his his his credit cards, the
accessibility to his phones. So how we
know it wasn't you?
>> Wow. He said, however, defense attorney
Marissa Co Goldberg used Burke's own
7year timeline to offer jurors a
different explanation. The first number
of the FBI's chart date back to December
2017, nearly 5 years before the Los
Angeles shooting. A message announced
that the number read, "Keep the number
close, gang. This is Dirk new number.
Don't give it to anybody." The the same
pattern appeared again in January 2021.
This is number y'all can call and text
me on. Little Durk allegedly wrote this
dirt. Keep it on the low. Another
message from September 2021. Now, smirk
number, new number. Don't give this to
anybody at all. Goldberg asked Purk
whether those messages demonstrated that
Little Durk routinely changed the
numbers and distributed uh them to a
limited circle. I agree with you. Yes,
Burke answered. The concession uh
allowed the defense to argue the uh
secrecy surrounding the 3853 number was
not unusual behavior that began uh after
Lil P's murder. Goldberg especially uh
specifically uh asked whether the 2022
chain followed the same pattern seen
throughout the FBI's records since 2017.
Now they are really really locking in on
wherever he go whatever he do at these
time we in hindsight though they were
they were on this on real time cuz they
didn't know he was even doing this at
first. Right.
>> Right. But they but in hindsight they're
starting to put the puzzle together and
this is the things that they're coming
up with and Burks is all over it. Kind
of like the old boy was down there in on
Yellow Bees's trial. Right.

>> So do you think you think he can beat

>> You feel like you feel like Lil Dirt got
action to beat this?
>> I I Well, I don't say that he got action
at beating him because he got there we
go again. cooperating witnesses talking
on him that already it's already sitting

uh, his defense, uh, Brian still is
coming up with some good arguments, but
how does it weigh? I mean, this
atmosphere right now when it come to
rappers and the stuff that they getting
into, man, it looks bad.

message we saw, yes, he would send it
all to a smaller group of people."
Goldberg then asked why a celebrity
might avoid allowing a personal number
to being in circulation widely so that
they don't receive calls from people
they don't know. Bur replied, "When
Goldberg suggested that a celebrity
would have a greater privacy concern
than an ordinary person, Burke answered,
that makes sense." The defense also
established that uh Kievon Funny
Grant personally um purchased the
prepaid phone and selected the generic
uh customer's name. Funny had access to
the uh astronaut sounds
American Express account and he used the
uh uh to book a hotel room. He used it
Uber rides and the purchase during the
uh relevant period. Ber agreed that Ot
Bunny,
>> yeah, not Lil Durk decided to register
the number under John Doe and prepaid
customer. So these people are talking
though. That testimony supports the
defense border attempt to separate Lil
Durk from transaction made in his name.
OTL Bunny uh previously admitted
controlling Lil Durk's wallet, banking
credentials, pins, and social security
number. OTL Bunny testified that Lil
Durk uh instructed him to obtain new
phones after the shooting. Prosecutors
also connected the purchase to the
rappers uh initial residence and the
corporate uh card alleging and and uh
used during the operation. However, the
telephone records do not independently
establish why the numbers changed. Uh
the explanation depends largely on
whether uh jurors believe ot Vonnie and
uh a corroborating witness uh hoping to
reduce his punishment. It says the
federal indictment charges little dirt
with conspiracy murder for hire
resulting in death um uh and firearm
offenses. He has pled uh he's pleaded
not guilty and denies ordering or
financing the attack. Jurors must now
decide whether the new number was
evidence of post uh post shooting
cleanup and another example of privacy
practices in Little Durk had fallen in
during 2017. OG after hearing all of
this stuff that we're hearing
um these phone records that they're
using in there, these phone situations,
they're highly highly um
respected in that courtroom.
They gonna try to paint the picture with
that.

just like I said yesterday, they
established that uh Bonnie had all
access and everything was cool until
they set him when they arrested him at
at that hotel and gave him a federal
charge. And then they told him they was
going to give him a life sentence with
the Rico. He starts spilling information
that was to save his ass.

>> Listen at this OG.
>> Same router a few days before to book
the Uber to go from Durk's house to go
back and pick up the cars that were used
in the murder. So that was pretty bad.
So everybody thinking that you
outsmarting affairs, you deleting your
iCloud, you deleting your messages, you
on burner phones, that's cool. Some of
that stuff works. the the um FaceTime
audio calls between the cars. They
couldn't get none of that. All right,
that was smart. But you connect to your
home Wi-Fi router with those same burner
phones. You're cooked. They got your
home, they got your address, they got
the IP, they got where you're staying,
they got absolutely everything. And that
was really, really damning. I wonder if
Durk even had any kind of appreciation
that even though he probably thought he
was moving smart in some ways, and he
was, he managed to conceal a lot of his
alleged involvement in this incident by
changing up the phones, doing all of
that stuff. But when the Fed got up on
the stand and said, "Yeah, he was
connected to the IP address at his crib.
It was his same Wi-Fi router." They said
that ain't no there was no Wi-Fi
connections going on when they flew out
to Miami. It's not like, "Oh, you that
was someone else's Wi-Fi. That's the
neighbor's Wi-Fi." That's some other
Oh, that's They said y'all went to
Miami and ain't connect. And you came
back, you connected to the Wi-Fi routers
again on them phones, man. That was
pretty damning. I'm not going to lie to
you. That one was a bad look.
