Video summary
The video documents the exciting acquisition of a new Lifetime Tacoma 10-foot kayak, which serves as a significant upgrade for the channel's boating adventures. The host explains that while they previously rented kayaks in Georgia, this specific model is particularly appealing because it comes fully registered in Florida, allowing for the installation of a motor without additional paperwork. The purchase was made from an original owner who had used the kayak only eight to ten times, ensuring it is in excellent condition despite being a 2023 model. The host emphasizes that jumping on this deal was crucial because most listings online do not include essential accessories like paddles or outriggers, making this particular find even more valuable.
Upon inspection, the kayak comes equipped with an impressive array of extras that significantly enhance its utility and safety. These additions include a homemade life vest, a drill-powered motor, and sturdy banana floats which act as outriggers to stabilize the vessel when wheeling it or paddling in rougher waters. The seller also provided a comprehensive kit featuring a patch repair system, a tow rope, extra bungee cords, and various mounting pads. A unique feature highlighted is the kayak's hollow construction, which includes a plug at the top to drain any accidental water entry, ensuring the boat remains lightweight and manageable compared to wider rental models.
The negotiation process for the purchase adds a humorous touch to the story, as the host initially offered $200 but ultimately paid $240 after the seller insisted on keeping the registration transferable until March of the following year. The host decided to pay the full asking price because the included accessories alone were worth significantly more than the difference in cost, making it a fair trade. With the acquisition complete, the plan is set for future camping trips where they will transport the kayak on top of their camper and test out the new motor, which boasts a 30-pound thrust capability. The video concludes with plans to purchase another unit for Monkey's birthday, specifically requesting a pink color, signaling an expansion of their kayaking fleet for upcoming outdoor expeditions.

Hey everyone, Sha 1000 here. Got some
boat stuff. Monkey bought some boat
stuff.
It's for a kayak.
There's what you can strap your kayak to
when you want to if you have to wheel it
a good little ways. These are I call
them banana floats. They're outriggers
for
a kayak. Got some paddles. We got a
life vest. That's one he made to pull
around.
That's for the outriggers.
And that is for a motor if you want to
put a motor on a kayak.
And this
is a little kayak motor. You put a drill
on it. [laughter]
He gave us that.
Got all that stuff there, didn't we,
Monk?
>> Yeah.
>> Now all we need is a damn kayak.
[laughter]
But we're ready. Wait, what's that?
Monkey bought a kayak.
It is a lifetime which I was just I was
just watching a lot of videos about
these lifetimes.
>> Is that what the name of it is?
>> Yeah, it's a lifetime.
It is the lifetime
Tacoma.
And this,
as you probably saw, is registered
because down here in Florida, you don't
need to register these unless you put a
motor on them. So, since this was
already registered,
we had to hit the guy up, didn't we?
Mama.
>> Yeah.
>> Since it was already registered, cuz
Monkey wants a couple kayaks. This is
one. And she got this one for me because
it's registered and I can put a motor on
it. I have a motor. Just got to get a
good battery.
Um,
>> okay. This one right here,
>> 10 foot.
>> That's exactly the same, right?
>> Okay. Yeah,
>> it is
$3139.
>> $313 for this brand new. Now, we saw it
online and when I seen it was
registered, I told her, I said, "Man, we
we got to jump on that." She said,
"Well, find out when we can go look at
it." So, we did and we jumped on it. We
bought it. He had 225 on it with the
ores. 90% of the ones you see don't have
ores.
>> Yeah.
>> On uh on marketplace.
So, we got the ores. We got that
homemade thing. I showed you all the
stuff. cut that.
Um,
the
outriggers,
that's an actual one. You just put your
kayak on, you strap it down, you can
pull it places. He made those for the
motor and everything.
He wanted 225 for all of it. On the way
there, I said, you know, I'll offer him
200.
And when we got out of the car, we was
getting out of the car, she handed me
the money. He said, "Here, there's 240
there." Said, "Okay." Well, we got to
talk in there and he showed us
everything and he said, "Use that
registration till it runs out. I don't
care cuz it's still good till what?
March."
>> March of next year. So, but I mean,
we'll get it registered in our name
before that. But, uh, yeah, 225. And I
looked over at monkey. I said, "No, I'm
I'm I'm not going to offer him two. I'm
going to, you know, I'm going to give
him 225." She said, "Oh, yeah." And I
said, "Uh, cuz I had 240." And I said,
"You got change for, you know," I said,
"I got 240." And she he said, "Sure." He
went in the house. And when he went in
the house, monkey said, "No, no, just
give him the 240." [laughter]
Didn't
>> those stabilizers that came from them
are 6190?
>> They're Vivore.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. So those stabilizers,
might as well say $62.
So she said, "Just give him the $240."
So he came out, started counting out
$15. I said, "No, you know what? Just
here, take the 240." Are you sure? Here.
No. No. Just take the 240. So
I think it'll be all right.
It's a 10-footer, so
you know, you got to have a whistle.
He's got a whistle on here.
These are just some pads he made for,
you know, putting stuff on. There's
registration, a tow rope, he said, for
your wife. It's got a patch kit for
those things. It's got a lock with a
chain, couple extra straps, some
bungees.
So,
there we go.
And that's waterproof cuz the whole
thing's hollow. But if you would happen
to have that open and you get some water
in it. It's a little plug up here.
Pull that plug out. Tip it [snorts] up
and drain the water out of it. So there
it is. Now Monkey said, "Now we just
need one more."
Didn't you, Monk?
>> Yeah.
>> Monkeyy's getting one for her birthday,
huh?
>> Huh?
>> Yeah. This is my Christmas present here.
>> I don't think it was a bad deal. Even if
I gave him 240.
>> No. So, 240 bucks for all that.
>> Not bad because I mean, he's giving us
all this stuff to go with it.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, these things ain't cheap.
>> Well, I didn't know it had outriggers
and paddle and all that. So, like I
said, 90 95% of the time all we've been
seeing them all no paddles. No paddles.
No paddles. M
>> you know
and uh he's he's original owner of that.
I think it's a 2023.
I think he said
>> he's had it out 8 to 10 times.
So yeah, there it is. So we're going to
try this out. When when do you want to
try it out?
>> I don't know.
>> Huh?
>> Soon as I get mine, I guess.
>> We got to wait until you get yours.
>> Well, you can take it out anytime you
want.
And we just stuffed it in the back of
that. And the gate would almost close,
didn't it?
>> Almost. Yeah.
>> And I just put a strap to hold the gate
down.
>> So,
and then we'll figure out a way to put
them on top of that the camper.
>> So,
>> cuz we'll be able to take these.
>> Yeah. When we go camping.
>> And that's pretty light. I don't know
what it weighs, but it doesn't weigh as
much as that one you rented out in
Georgia.
>> No, I don't think so.
>> So, go pick up that end.
>> Huh?
>> Go pick up that end.
>> H maybe.
>> No. No. It's nowhere near as much.
>> I think that other one was wider, too,
wasn't it?
wider.
>> No, it was just a 10footer.
>> Mhm.
>> Cool.
>> I think that'll be fun.
>> All right. So, stick around for a video
when we take this out and try it out.
We'll
>> I'll dig out one of my motor. I'll
probably use that motor. It's never been
used in that boat.
>> You might as well check it out cuz we
don't use in that boat.
>> Oh, you know, you don't even know if it
works. Really?
>> No. I've turned it on.
>> Have you?
>> Yeah. It's brand new. It's never been
used.
>> So, it's a Minko. I think it's a 30 lb
thrust. So, I'd run I could run all day
on that, you know.
>> Yeah,
>> cuz it's not really pushing anything.
So, cool. All right, guys. I'm going to
take this around back and flip it over
and
stay tuned for some videos of us getting
on here, right, Monk?
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Thanks, Monk.
>> You're welcome.
>> Now, we got to get Monkey one.
>> Yeah, I want a pink one.
>> She wants a pink one. All right, guys.
Anyway, here we go. So, stay tuned. Uh
Shay Bear, the myth man legend gone for
now. Does have a cup holder in it.
That's cool.
And uh we'll see you guys in the next
one. Bye-bye everyone. Take care of
yourselves.
