Okay, good morning and welcome. So, how is your week so far? Good. Nice. So, let's pray. We'll uh commit uh class and the week into God's hands. May I request one of the ladies to lead us in prayer. any one of you. Let's we pray. Father Lord, thank you Lord for this time Lord for this session you have given us. Thank you Lord. Yes Lord we are going to learn the keys to supernational ministry. Lord we are going to this course Lord. Thank you Lord. Lord we are submitting ma'am into your hands Lord. Thank you Lord. Speak to the mamas Lord. Thank you Lord. Whatever the m was speaking Lord we have to abandon us Lord. Thank you Lord. We have to function through our lives Lord. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name I ask. Amen. >> Amen. Thank you Shilka. Uh so we were uh talking about the need for the supernatural and we went through chapter one of ministering healing and deliverance. We've covered it completely and then we came back to our notes here and we said that Jesus has invited all of us to walk in the supernatural to minister the supernatural uh and also to do greater works. So these are things that we have discussed thoroughly. We'll move forward. we go to section two which is about the keys that you and I need to operate in the supernatural realm. So there are eight different keys that we will uh talk about today. We are starting with understanding the realm of the spirit. So before we get into the depth of this let me read out what are the eight keys. understanding the realm of the spirit, faith, power of the word, renewed mind, anointing of the spirit, God's presence and glory, proclamation and action and persistence. So these are not the only keys. There can be others as well main things that we need in order to operate in the supernatural. So today starting with key one and uh uh that is about knowing that there is a spiritual realm. When we did believers authority we spoke about kingdom of God, kingdom of darkness and spiritual beings in both of these kingdoms. So even though we cannot see this realm with our natural eyes, we know that it exists. Okay. And how does this matter for us as believers? There are two kingdoms and we are part of one kingdom as believers. That is the kingdom of God. Is it possible for people to be in between like not part of this kingdom or that kingdom? No. So there is no gray zone. There is no boundary. We cannot sit on the fence. We have to either be in the kingdom of God. But if you're not in the kingdom of God, we are automatically part of the kingdom of darkness. So unbelievers are not part of the kingdom of God. So then what happens to them? Which kingdom do they belong to? kingdom of darkness. >> Yeah. Anyone who doesn't believe in Christ is automatically part of >> [snorts] >> uh the kingdom of darkness. So we can't say that good people are in between where they'll have influence from God's kingdom. No, we can't say all those things. You're either here or there. But the point that we want to make today for us to operate in the supernatural is being conscious that I am part of the kingdom of God. Every day I need to be conscious about it because the the things that I believe God for matters uh or or it depends on my knowing what is part of the kingdom. So we know that as part of go being God's kingdom, we are children of God. uh we have a covenant with God and as part of the covenant there are blessings there are victories uh there is health there is deliverance there is breakthrough everything is part of the kingdom of god and as a child of god I know that that is my portion okay and uh I need to walk in such a way that is operate by certain principles We'll we'll talk about it soon. Operate by those principles to make sure that the spiritual kingdom of God overrides the kingdom of darkness in all my situations. So that's how a believer is supposed to live. Okay. Now, as a believer, if um I don't realize that I'm part of God's kingdom, then what will happen? If I don't realize that I am spiritually part of this kingdom of God, then what what is the consequence? >> Yeah. So we we may supern natural may not be manifested through our lives because we are accepting everything as it is. We don't try to uh believe God for the blessing or the miracle. We just say okay this is it. This is happening. We'll accept. But a believer who understands uh God and what God wants us to do in our lives will know that the supernatural world can override the kingdom of darkness. Okay. Or the kingdom of God can override the kingdom of darkness. And the supernatural can impact the natural world. Can you share some examples from the Bible about this? >> [clears throat] >> The supernatural overriding the natural. [snorts] So there is a natural reality. Okay. But we see a change in that natural reality because of the kingdom that we are a part of. Any such examples? >> Okay. So uh water into wine meaning there is a situation of lack but Jesus through the power glory of God you can say that's part of the supernatural kingdom what did he do he turned that lack into abundance great so the spiritual uh kingdom that we are a part of has impacted the natural world that's a good example any other examples. >> Lazarus. >> Okay. Lazarus. What happened? >> Yes. So can we say the power of the word? Uh we can even say power of faith where Jesus operates in faith and he says Lazarus come forth. Then the dead person comes to life. So in the natural world, death is turned around to manifest resurrection life. So that's a good example. Any other examples that you can think of? Peter. Okay. Uh so in the book of acts Peter um ministering a miracle to the lame man. So what is in the natural the person is lame. That's a reality. But by faith and you could even say by operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, Peter is ministering to that man. and the the sickness or the lame uh the issue of being lame is no longer there because he's able to walk. So this is how we have to learn to live as believers. Understand that we are part of the kingdom of God and the fact that the kingdom of God can override the work of the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of God or the spiritual realm can override the natural world. So what we see in the natural we don't want to deny it you know we don't deny when somebody is sick we don't pretend and say no no no they are not sick they're okay we are not saying that you should deny it we are saying okay accept it but even though the person is sick they can be healed because healing is available in the spiritual realm that's the kind of understanding we need in every situ situation. Acknowledge the facts but also check what does the word say. Is this situation supposed to be like this? If it is according to the word of God, okay, we will leave it as it is. But if it is not then we have to apply the principles that we know so that we can see a new result according to uh the blessings covenant blessings of the cross. See every day or u uh let's say Sundays right as pastors people will come to us they'll share their situation. And they'll say there's so much of fighting in my house. Maybe it is um you know disagreement between husband and wife, quarrels, uh a lack of trust. So when we hear all these things, what should we what should we do as pastors? >> Counsel them for what? They are sharing their reality. or student comes and says I want to study but there's no finances in my family I can't study so then what will we say as a pastor we'll say okay don't study or what should we say okay have faith in God okay fine yes encourage them Yeah. Guide them. >> We'll ask them to pray. So why are we doing all these things? Encouraging, guiding, praying. Why? Why should we do that? Yeah. Okay. So, correct. We are we are helping build faith for them to receive from God, right? But how is it that we know that God wants them to have peace? Like in the first situation in the family, there's no peace. Uh peace is what God wants to give you. Second situation, student does not have finances. Blessing, abundance is what God wants to give you. Right? Maybe third situation, somebody's sick, healing is what God wants to give you. See firstly we need to know what has been given to us what is available. Now for many believers we have a vague picture or vague idea but we don't know more than that that yes this is a covenant blessing that God has given me and I need to receive it. So the problem is when a believer is not aware, when a believer does not have understanding, they will just let it go. They'll be like, "Yeah, this is how life is. There are some ups, there are some downs. Let's carry on." But a believer who wants to walk in the supernatural power of God must be conscious that there is a spiritual realm. And I know that what has been provided for me in the spiritual realm will override the natural realm. So I can't accept this. I can't accept strife. I can't accept lack. I can't accept illness. I can't accept oppression. That kind of a consciousness awareness is necessary. Without that we'll just sit down and let things happen. See that's why we are talking about spiritual realm. Know that there is a spiritual realm and when people come with an issue we are able to figure out why why is this problem happening. Is it because of uh the person their choices or is it something deeper? Could there be some work of the demonic in this? So if there is something to do with the demonic what are the open doors we have to break the strongholds you see a lot of things we are thinking because there is a reality of a realm that we need to be aware of that's when we will manifest the supernatural but if we don't have awareness of these things we can't do much okay so um this is the reason right that we're talking about the spiritual realm. So basically we need to be uh okay so take it in the right way. Do you all know frogs? Frogs. Okay. So uh in science when we learn about frogs we call them um amphibious because they live on land and they can also live in water. So we also should be amphibious. So I'm not telling become a frog, right? But I'm saying we need to know how to live in the natural realm but have sp the consciousness of the spiritual realm and as believers that's when the the victory will be seen. So whenever we encounter any situation always ask the question what is God's perspective for this situation and pray according to it believe according to it and uh uh do according to that. Okay. And uh know that the spiritual realm has some laws. It's not a realm that is hapazard. You know in apologetics we were learning about how God has certain systems in place where um the simple example is sun rises in the morning sets in the evening. In the same way in the spiritual realm there are laws and the Bible talks about these laws and as a believer first point is be conscious that there is a spiritual realm. Second point is understand how it operates. That's when we are going to receive something from that spiritual realm. Now we cannot be uh you know simple very simple people who say no I don't understand I don't know you know God's ways are mysterious. Have you heard believers say that God is so mysterious? We don't know what he does, how he does, why he does, no idea. So I can't be so ignorant of the way in which God works. See Psalm 103:7. Could one of one of us read that passage? Psalm 103:7. He made known his ways to Moses, his hack to the children of Israel. >> Huh? So, it's talking about the familiarity that Moses had concerning God and the children of Israel had concerning God. So when we read about the interaction of God's people, we know that they were hesitant to draw close to God. Yes or no? So they used to tell Moses, "Moses, you go. That mountain looks very scary. It's it's got a cloud and it it looks like, you know, if we go there, we might die. So we don't want to take the risk. We'll be here in our tents, but you go, you meet with God and you come. So they were not willing to draw near to God. They were not willing to understand God deeper from a distance. That's that looks good enough for us. But when we do that, when we maintain distance between God and us, we'll never understand how he works. Okay. So, what did we see in this passage? It says he made his ways known to Moses. And what did he make known to the children of Israel? His acts. So if you've ever been uh with a mentor in your school life or college life, professional life, uh what happens is when you're working with a mentor, they will tell you the secrets, right? They'll tell you don't do like that, do like this. Because out of experience, I have figured out that this is the right way. So what is the mentor doing? The mentor is giving you all the techniques and the and the those so-called secret methods which help you grow which make you a better student or a professional or you know uh apprentice. So you become better because you're understanding the techniques. Whereas for a person outside, they only see huh this person is producing good results. That's all. They don't understand what goes behind it. What is the schedule of the mentor? You know what what uh what did the mentor study? What are some books that the mentor is is uh uh meditating on or some um philosophies that they are holding on to? Some experiments that they have done, right? the right, the wrong, the good, the bad. But for a person who's walking closely with the mentor, the mentor will tell all the ways, the tricks of the trade. So here it's similar. When Moses is going close to God, God is saying, Moses, you are that man. I will tell you the secrets. You will know why I'm doing what I'm doing. But because the children of Israel were far away from God, God said, "Okay, these people can see what I'm doing. That's enough. But they'll not know why I'm doing how am I doing it?" In other words, Moses knew the heart of God, but the people only knew the works of God. See, it doesn't help to only know the works. It's necessary to know the heart. So what we are saying is as children of God, we'll be conscious that there is a spiritual realm that we are a part of and we can pull the reality of the spiritual realm to change the situation in the natural realm. Secondly, we understand God. We understand how he works. We understand the principles that he has given for the spiritual realm and we operate by them and when we do that results come. So one classic example in the Bible is um uh do you recall there was a fight with the Amalachites and this is in Exodus chapter 17. So the Israelites are fighting and at that time what Moses does is he is praying. He has his hands lifted up to God and as long as Moses's hands are up, they were winning. But when the hands were down, they were losing. So Aaron on one side, her on the other side, they go and they hold up the hands of Moses. so that the children of Israel can win. So what is happening in this case the power of prayer that's the principle Moses knew if we have to win somebody has to battle in the spiritual realm that's when the battle in the natural realm will be won. So knowing the heart of God, Moses is praying and that is overriding the natural situation. Okay. So Moses understands the ways of God. So he figured out we need to pray in this situation. That's how victory will come to us. So we when we apply this in our daily lives, we must figure out what needs to be done. Okay. in in uh each problem that we encounter and as I said earlier if we are not familiar with the heart of God we will say okay this is how it is and we will let it go. So what are some principles that are applicable in the spiritual realm? Let's talk about that. We know that faith is a powerful principle. So we are also going to talk about faith as one of the keys to manifest the supernatural. But for now let's recognize that faith is a principle. If I want God to work just by crying, just by asking, just by you know doing certain things, I can't expect God to work because God has made it clear in his word according to your faith. So if there is no faith, nothing will work. So faith is a principle of the spiritual realm and if I want to see the manifestation of the power of God I have to operate in faith that's one one way in which I can do it. So in the earlier situations that we discussed right if there is strife in the family what will we tell the family members? will tell them look God's plan for your family is peace and blessing so don't give up how about I give you some uh verses from the Bible you read it regularly you confess it and maybe once a week let us meet let us pray together and we will see your family situation changing what are we doing we are helping build the faith of that person and when faith increases automatically we will see a shift in their circumstance. So as a child of God as a man of God or a woman of God I know how to apply the principle of faith and receive from the spiritual realm. That's how the supernatural will happen. So what are some other principles that you are aware of in the spiritual realm? Faith is one. Any other principle means if you do that you'll get a certain result. It always works like that. Or a law we can even call it a law like gravity. It's always working the same on earth. If I apply it, that's how it'll be. So in the spiritual realm, what are some laws? Okay. Yes. Operating in the fruit of the spirit. Okay. Fine. Yes. Okay. Anointing. Anointing of the spirit of God. Yes. Manifesting God's power. So then I have to walk in the anointing. then only results will be there in the natural realm. Okay, great. Any other principles? See principle also means I do this and I get this result. So are there any such things where you do that you will get a result? Okay, good. reading the word of God. That is a principle. Applying the word of God, meditating on the word of God, that's a principle. Yeah. >> Okay. Uh being led by the Holy Spirit. Yes. So, hearing the voice of God and following the voice of God will make us more fruitful. That's true. How about like praise, worship? We know that if I can spend time in God's presence praising him then like Jehoshaphat you know like the uh enemies will be defeated when I praise God when I worship God like uh Paul and Silas deliverance will be there. They were set free from the prison. So we can be set free from our situations or we can even say that when we praise and worship God when God's presence heightens the glory of God will manifest and when God's glory comes lot of things happen right so going back to the tabernacle and how the sheina glory of God it came and how the priests were uh making way for the presence of God. So these are all principles. So in my life as a believer, if I take time in personal worship, praise, corporate worship, this is how I'm living my life, there will be deliverance, there will be peace, there will be victory. Even if a brother or sister comes with a problem and I tell them come, let's pray, let's worship for some time, God's presence comes. So I know how to apply That principle of praise, principle of worship and results happen, right? Results come. Any other similar uh uh principles which we can apply? >> Okay, good. Speaking in tongues. Yes. >> Authority. Okay. Pray with authority. That's that's correct. So, we have to approach uh certain issues like that. Okay. Fruit of the spirit. Gifts. Okay. Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Okay. Sure. So, do we have anyone in the Bible who applied any principle and saw the result? Moses. We already discussed Mo Exodus 17. Any other example? >> Joshua. >> Uh, what did he do? >> Huh? But what did he do? What is the principle? The son stood still. But what exactly did he do? >> Okay, good. So faith. He applied faith. Then he commanded the son. It stood fine. Any other example? >> Okay. So, going around the wall of Jericho, can we say faith? Can we say obedience? Uh, can we also say um what what do you call like worship? worship and reverence because they sent the ark of the covenant ahead. Right? So these are all the ways in which they saw victory. So today we can also do the same thing. When we face a Jericho, we face walls. We go with worship. We go with obedience to what God says. We go with faith. Then our Jericho will also fall down. What about Elijah? You remember Elijah? uh God told him it is going to rain but there was no cloud. So which principle did Elijah apply? Faith and prayer. Do you recall he prayed seven times? It says so as a prophet of God you already know God's word but nothing is happening. I we can't accept nothing is happening. We can't accept it because God has already spoken. How come nothing is happening? So as a prophet of God, he operates in the principle of faith and prayer. So he goes and he's praying, praying. He tells his servant, go check, go check because he knows result has to come. There is no option. There is a spiritual realm and I am praying into that spiritual realm. In the natural realm, it has to rain. It will take some time but I'm going to pray. So he prays seven times. He operates with the principle of prayer and he sees the results. So even today maybe God has promised many things to us and there are delays but we can operate with the same principle and say we are going to pray. We won't give up. and our natural situation will change. So any other any other principles? >> Huh? Esther principle which is a principle there? >> Okay, good. So the discipline of fasting is something that she applied and deliverance came. So today when we are facing a uh impossible situation when we fast results will come. What about Daniel? I think even Daniel knew how to operate in prayer and fasting. Yes. Consistent prayer. So he he prayed and God sent the answer. You recall that like the angel was sent and the angel fought the uh principalities and the answer came to him. So in this way we have to know how the spiritual realm operates. A believer who doesn't know is not going to get much even though these things exist. But knowing and operating is the key. How about um uh sewing and reaping? That's also a principle in God's kingdom. We can apply it in terms of uh uh material wealth or money. The Bible says give and it'll come back to you. Good measure pressed down, shaken together. So when I give and do God's work, blessings will abound in my life. Secondly, um when I sow to the spirit, I will reap life from the spirit. But if I sow to the flesh, so if I'm sowing to um maybe gossip or negative words or uh you know putting people down, all this what am I doing? I'm sowing the words. negativity. We will reap death when we sow to the flesh. Or if I'm sowing to uh lustful habits, selfish habits, pride, there will be consequences. If you sow, you reap. It's a principle. We can't run away from it. Kingdom of God operates like that. So these are the things believers need to know. That's when we will be able to uh receive from the spiritual world and impact the natural world. So are we understanding what we are trying to say? Yes. Awareness of the spiritual realm, awareness of the fact that there are laws, there are principles, how to use them. And and thirdly, we need to know that God's power always uh overpowers the power of darkness. Okay. So very good examples of that is what we discussed in the previous classes. When Moses goes, the magicians are also there, but the power of God overtakes. when Elijah and the the prophets of uh Baal and Asher they call out to their gods ultimately fire comes when when Elijah prays to God. So God's power is always greater. We need to remember that there will be times when when we are pursuing the supernatural there are delays. It may also get very difficult but at that time we should not give up you know especially like uh when somebody is uh sick and the cause is demonic. What will happen? Someone is sick. Okay. But it's happening because of a demonic influence. So when we pray what could could happen? >> Yeah. manifestation and also we said whenever there is an origin which is demonic in nature the problem may get worse yes or no we've discussed this even for me it has happened you go pray for somebody they'll say I have pain in my shoulder after you pray you know the person will message you after one day after you pray pain has become more you know first I had in one shoulder Now I have both shoulders. So when you hear this these kind of testimonies are so discouraged. You feel like God what is this? I'm praying it's not reducing it's increasing. But if I know the spiritual realm, if I know the principles, I can immediately understand. Hey, wait a minute. This sounds like a demonic issue because it's increasing. meaning Satan is putting up a fight against God's power. So then what should I do? I don't become discouraged. I, you know, like stir myself up more. And I say, "Okay, devil, you cannot challenge God. So I'm going to declare the word of God. I'm going to fast. I'm going to pray so that this person receives deliverance." So this is how it is. we recognize what is happening and then we know right um so know that God's power is always greater and that we don't have to give up even when we are facing a challenge. Yeah. And finally in our notes here there is one section on angels and demons because they are part of uh the spiritual realm. One needs to know how to um how to recognize if they are in operation. And how do we get angels to to work? How will angels work in the spiritual realm? If you want angels to work, how will you get them to work? Yes, we speak the word of God because in Psalm 103 and verse 20 it says that they do his word hearing the voice of his word. So that's how angels work. So when I'm a person who speaks and declares God's word, angels will start operating and we will see uh many testimonies of angels at work in our lives. So let me quickly come to the chat section here and Joy is saying Daniel and his friends ate only vegetables and drank water for 10 days in Babylon to avoid eating the king's food rich food and wine which violated the law. We can consider this by faith. Okay, great. Yeah. So they did it by faith and the principle here is faith sanctification and you can even say fasting. So is the principle here that we should eat only vegetables? No. Right. So we have to understand correctly like what is the actual principle behind it. So when we know that and we apply it um in today's world in our ministry we will see the supernatural. Here in the notes there are some questions. The first question is as believers when we pursue the supernatural how should we look at God's sovereignity and man's free will? What would be your response? We've discussed this many times last year. So when something happens, do we just say God you are sovereign, you're making it happen and we let it go? No. We have to take responsibility based on what God has already revealed in his word. So that's what we said till now. When people come to us with problems or we see our own problem, we go by the word of God and we don't blindly accept that it is the sovereignity of God. Secondly, the next question is, do we pray against demonic powers for every problem that we pray over? What is the answer? Yes or no? If the power goes, what should I say? Satan, why did you do this? Would it be right if if my my vehicle tire punches? Satan did it. Should we be like that as believers? No. So everything is not because of a demonic influence. Some things are not everything is. So then we will approach it according to what caused the issue. If we become um uh like this no like attributing everything to uh demons, everything to angels like while talking if I say wait one minute one angel just flew right [laughter] or something you become a weird believer you become a spooky spiritual believer where you know you're not you're not logical anymore. You're not considering the natural realm anymore. You're behaving as if you're only part of the spiritual realm. But that's not normal. It's abnormal. So be very real. We are in this natural world, but we are aware of the spiritual realm and correctly diagnose the problem. Um yeah. So one more question that is asked here is do we create a new problem for ourselves when we don't pray rightly or step out um of step out and do something. Imagine we are a believer who doesn't pray. What will happen? Yes. >> Correct. Yeah. So, we are not utilizing the uh knowledge of God's principles of prayer. So, if I'm a believer and I am not praying and if I'm going through challenges maybe because I'm not praying, no, there's no protection. When you look at the life of Job, it says that he was a very devout man. He sacrificed to God and he he offered to God and he did his acts of worship. So when Satan goes in God's presence, Satan says there is a hedge. You have put a hedge around him. What is that hedge? The hedge could be because of his obedience. He has regular worship, regular prayer, regular uh um communion with God. So even today when you and I are people like that we are protected from many problems but when we don't pray we are not operating in the principle of the spiritual realm so automatically some problems will come because I don't have a hedge I don't have protection so it's unfortunate you know uh I'm we are not talking about any outside believers Sometimes I have been that believer right maybe you have been that believer but from today let's learn when we are learning about the principles the point is we have to apply them only then we can walk in the power of God. So that's the whole um conclusion of our discussion today. know the spiritual realm and know how to operate with the existing laws that God has already given in his word. Okay, any questions? Any thoughts before we close? Anyway, so maybe you can just think about it. Thank God for people like Moses who knew about God's presence. Elijah who knew about prayer, who knew about um the supernatural power, Joshua who knew about you know authority, wisdom. So these are all men and women Esther you pointed out. So these are all men and women who understood the spiritual realm and that's why they were able to do what they did. Even today God is looking at each one of us understand the spiritual realm. understand the laws, learn to operate in it, and see the power of God. So, uh, with that we close. I'll just go ahead and pray. Yeah, let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you for a reminder that uh we are your children and we belong to your kingdom. Lord, we thank you for the many principles that you have given us in your word. Lord, open up our eyes that we may recognize them. And Lord, we pray that uh uh none of us will be discouraged, Lord, in our life circumstances. Help us to apply the principles. Help us to know your heart, know your word, and see the spiritual realm, the kingdom of God override our situation. Lord, even today we speak and declare victory in what all of us are going through. Thank you, Lord. Thank you that it is your will that we may see the power of God in our lives. We worship you, we glorify you and we honor you, Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. Thank you.
