This is truly amazing. Jesse Lee Peterson is the host of the Fallen State show and today he has a comedian on named Jason Scoop. Jason Scoop has been going viral lately through his Trump impersonation, but apparently he has been a comedian for a long time. Anyways, what I find fascinating is that Jesse Lee Peterson is a conservative in the manosphere and is considered a Christian by himself as well. He is a pastor even. I don't know where. I have no idea in which church, but the interesting thing is that he doesn't believe that Jesus is God. He believes that there is only one God and now in this clip you're going to see that he doesn't even believe that Jesus Christ was crucified. But still he considers himself a Christian and even more so, if you've seen his interview with the Muslim Lantern for example or other Muslims, this guy is against Islam even though he is a Muslim in his belief. How can you make a truth claim and say I believe that Catholicism is the right one, but then at the same time, when they press you on a very simple question, do you worship Mary, tell them then, "Oh, well, I'm not a theological scholar." I love people that have strong beliefs. For me, it's interesting to hear when they have a strong belief, but I can only respect and appreciate it when it's being backed up with something. If somebody tells me they're hot at Krishna, they're Hindu, they're Buddhist, whatever, I want to hear why that is and then I want to challenge the belief. But when somebody tells me this the right religion and you ask him a simple follow-up question, they cannot answer, man. What's the point then? Up until now, I've only seen reels of him when he's dressed up as Trump and he's impersonating. It's quite funny, but now that I'm seeing his real persona here, more or less, he seems like he has a lot of issues to be totally honest. He seems very stuck up. Open the door, please. >> No, for real. >> Please open the door. >> Wow, man. >> Jesus. >> Dude, this guy has been talking about people getting triggered previously in the interview. I cut all those parts because they're kind of boring. He's talking about liberals and whatnot and then he gets triggered simply when he's being pressed on his beliefs. But here you could see cognitive dissonance in action because he noticed himself at least subconsciously that he doesn't really know. He said that he believes because that's just what he believes and actually I know, but the reality is that you don't know and that makes people afraid. People get really, really scared when their beliefs are challenged, especially those beliefs that they haven't examined yet. I talked about this example years ago when I reverted to Islam at all effect. I was 16 years old at the time and we went to a family celebration of my best friend. My best friend was Serbian and therefore Orthodox Christian and they celebrated a specific saint. Which one it was I'm not too sure, maybe Sveti Nikola, who knows. Anyways, everybody gathered, everybody was eating pork, drinking alcohol, having a good time, partying and I went up to his father and asked him what we are celebrating today. I didn't try to be funny. I genuinely want to inquire. I want to understand what the celebration was about. When I asked the father, he got outraged. He looked at me and got super triggered and said, "Why do you care? Why do you care so much? My father celebrated, my grandfather celebrated, I'm going to celebrate too." whilst drinking alcohol and eating pork again. For me this was absolutely shocking as a 16-year-old because I had this thirst of knowledge. But most people then I realized really do not have it. Most people want to live in their comfort and they want to do exactly what their ancestors have done. And so now you see it here with him as well. He is Catholic. Why? Because his parents were Catholic. If he's been asked though why Catholicism, "Oh well, because I believe it's the right one." If he's been asked why it's the right one, he cannot tell you. If you press him then a little bit further, he will give you the typical Christian talking points, "Oh well, I believe in Jesus. Jesus wouldn't do this. Jesus wouldn't do that and he died on the cross for us." How do you know? Where's the proof? No evidence whatsoever and now this funny comedian, hahaha, is running out of the room. Anyways, I'm still thinking that this is a skit but I see the video only continues for two or three more minutes so therefore this must be real. Let's see what's going to happen. >> Get away from me. I'm really lost for words right now after seeing this. As I said, during the interview, all of a sudden I got this hunch that this guy really isn't who he pretends to be. Not only with the Trump persona, because yes, he's a Trump impersonator, but when he was presenting his real persona here on this interview, even this one seemed absolutely fake. This guy is extremely mentally ill that you cannot simply sit there and have a conversation once somebody's pressing you on your belief system is showing that you are not only delusional, but really severely emotionally handicapped. >> Wow, man. This is why the >> Quran is so because the Quran says that the Christians stand only on assumptions. They don't really know. When I read this passage many years ago, I was absolutely struck because it was hug, it was truth. I realized that the Christians cannot know. Nobody can truly know what happened in the past. Look, even we as Muslims, if we're completely honest here, we cannot know what happened in the past. Of course, to our best abilities, we can examine certain sources and say, therefore, we do believe those claims. We believe those historical claims, etc." But in the end, as humans, we simply do not know. You can tell me about Aristotle, you can tell me about Alexander the Great, you can tell me about Nikola Tesla, you can tell me about all kinds of people, tell me how great or how bad they were. The reality is, I will never know. I will sit here and take it upon faith that the historians did their job, and therefore what they are saying about those people is actually true. This is the best that I can do as a human being. If we're completely honest, all of our beliefs that are based on the past cannot be 100% verified, and therefore they are beliefs, and we take them upon the best evidence. So now you might wonder, "Okay, why are you a Muslim then? Because this is based on 1,400 years ago." Well, I will give you the answer. As I said, yes, we have historical claims as well, and to our best ability we accept certain ones of them. But when it comes down to the creed of Islam, what does it proclaim? It proclaims La ilaha illallah, Muhammad Rasul Allah. Meaning, there is no god worthy of worship but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger. To simplify this even further, there's only one god worthy of worship, and he sent a messenger. So if he sent a messenger, there must be a message, of course. The Quran is the message. It is essentially the message in a bottle, right? If you're out on the island and there's a message in a bottle, you might not know who wrote that message, but there certainly wasn't author to it. There was a messenger, right? So the truth claim of Islam is simply that there is only one god worthy of worship, and that this god sends messengers. So this is a timeless statement. It is not a statement that is only bound to history as such. We talk about pure monotheism and a defining characteristic of that god, that this god has a communication method through messengers. However, when it comes down to the creed, and you can read the creed of Christianity in the Council of Nicaea, in the Nicene Creed. Here you go. I mean Look at this thing, you know. It's not one statement. It's not one sentence. I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages, God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became men My point of the story is that when we're talking about this Creed, the only thing that you can know is that you believe in one God. And the rest is all bid'ah. The rest is all addition. It's insane. And this is why Jordan B. Peterson actually is a Muslim without even knowing it. Jordan B. Peterson is advocating for the silent prayer. The silent prayer, and I practiced this back in the day as well, is when you simply sit down in a meditation essentially. You simply observe your thoughts and let them go. Jordan B. Peterson has been confronted many times by all kinds of people that told him "Well, you're not really practicing Christianity here. If anything, you are practicing Buddhism because you're sitting in meditation here and you're simply observing your thoughts. This is Eastern mysticism." Jordan B. Peterson would always act dumb, and he's not dumb at all. He's perceived as dumb by many people, but he's not stupid whatsoever. He always likes to say himself, "I'm black and slow." A person that is really slow would never say that about themselves, of course. They don't have the capacity to realize how slow they truly are. Jordan B. Peterson is playing an act here. He's actually way, way more intelligent than people give him credit for, and this plays into his favor, of course. Every time he's being pressed on a specific question, he doesn't need to answer. He's simply going to pull out and tell you, "Oh, well, I'm so stupid. I'm so slow. I don't know." The reality is that he is mixing and matching Christianity with Buddhism. His technique is the silent prayer. Now, anyways, I have nothing against meditation. I believe that the introspective spiritual exploration of our own selves is very important. But when you do such things, and I have heavy experience with this for the past 15 years or so, you actually realize that you find yourself in the now. You find yourself truly in this moment. You don't think about the past, you don't think about the future, and you are like a child essentially, just here and now. And when you reach that awareness, you realize as well that you've been believing a lot of falsehood, or at least you've been subscribing to many ideas that you cannot really clarify, that you cannot verify whatsoever, because it is beyond you. As I said already, you cannot verify anything truly within the past. leave it to the historians, and then you can say, "Oh, well, this is more plausible." It is very similar to the science debate. How many atheists nowadays, agnostics will tell you, "I believe in science." Well, listen, I love science as well. It's amazing, but I'm not a scientist. So, therefore, I don't really understand much about science. I studied one semester of pharmaceutical chemistry, and that's how far it goes. I don't really understand much about science. So, therefore, if a scientist tells me, let's say there are atoms and molecules and whatnot, I might take it up on good faith, but I don't really have any proof or evidence for this that I can verify for myself. It's simply impossible. It is the same with claims for outer space. I've never been to outer space. Probably I will never go to outer space. But, we take it up on belief that there is outer space, that the Earth is round and not flat. You might make a good argument for it or against it. Either way, the reality is that you cannot truly know. You're working with certain ideas, certain belief systems, certain parameters that have been given to you, and then you make an assumption. It is a belief system. That's just what it is. And as I said, many people are very uncomfortable to live in a state of not knowing. This is why they latch onto ideas to feel more comfortable. Anyways, be that as may, Jordan B. Peterson, through his meditative practices, I assume, reached the state very similar to that of a Muslim. He believes only in one God. He believes that Jesus Christ was sent by God. He believes that Jesus Christ was not crucified for our sins. Matter of fact, he doesn't even believe in the original sin as such. He believes that we are born into sin through dysfunctional households, meaning the only sin that we inherit out of his perspective is the sin of the parents in the sense of that they've been in a mess. You had an abusive mother, abusive father, what have you, and now you're born into that environment and therefore you will essentially go through your traumas until you can let go of it. This is what he preaches forgiveness, to forgive your parents in order to be truly free. The funny thing, however, is if anybody calls him out theologically on Christianity, on the Bible, he will call those people Bible thumpers, people that are heavily obsessed with the text, with the literal meaning of the text, but at the same time he is a pastor, he is a preacher, but invented his whole new branch of Christianity. He calls it the fellowship. Then at the same time, as I said in the beginning, he hates on Muslims. He calls them the Allahu Akbar people. I believe that is mainly due to him associating Islam with the Nation of Islam. He's black, obviously, and many times when he talks about Islam he's actually bringing those Nation of Islam points, which can't even be considered a sect of Islam to be totally honest. It is a completely separate movement. They're taking the Quran, but then they're telling you that Allah is a black man, which is insane because the Quran itself says that Allah is like nothing within his creation. Allah is not a black man, he's not a Chinese man, he's not a white man. But him being at the age that he is at right now, I believe he's in his 70s already. I'm sure that he got influenced by the Nation of Islam. And therefore every time he talks about Muslims, he talks about Islam, he's bringing those talking points, and therefore he doesn't really see what Islam is, which is very unfortunate because I would make the claim that 99% of Christians, or at least Christians that are really adhering to Christianity, will call him a heretic and will kick him out of the church.
