JD Vance to Angry Trump Supporters: Pwetty Pwease Give Us Another Chance!

Hey, Mr. President, this one's for you, bub. What the hell is this? What is this? >> President Trump, I've supported you, but I'm I'm begging you right now to You got to You got to end it. You got to do something. Diesel fuel just broke $6 a gallon. >> Give us another chance or give us another couple of years to continue to work on the amazing things that we've been doing for the past two years. Well, that's what it's come to, my friends. Donald Trump has so thoroughly destroyed the economy through his tariffs and illegal war with Iran that all JD bands can really do at this point is look at voters like this and literally beg them to give Republicans a second chance. I mean, the desperation is utterly palpable. And it's crazy to see a party that's usually so parsimmonious offer the peasants $5,000 checks only if you vote for them again. See, they're not going to give you that money now that they control both chambers of Congress. But if you vote for them again, then they're definitely going to cut you the check, just like you got the Doge rebates and the tariff refunds that were also promised to us by this party. But the problem is that voters are so pissed off that they're even saying no to the checks, to the $5,000 in free money that Trump is promising but not going to deliver. But a Reuters Ipsos poll found that 63% of voters, including 40% of Republicans, disapprove of those checks. Because by now, even the people naive enough to believe him, have enough common sense to understand that a one-time check is going to be less impactful than actually getting inflation under control in the long term. But that would require Donald Trump to stop doing his dumbass tariffs, walk away from the Iran war, and actually get corporate greed under control, which is out of the question for him. And every single time Trump opens his mouth, he reminds voters how little he cares about their daily struggle. As the New Republic points out, he's still defending taxpayer subsidized data centers that are making everyone's electricity bills skyrocket. And he's refusing to back regulations on AI, even though the public is growing increasingly worried about the threat that AI poses to their jobs and to humanity itself. But I really didn't grasp just how bad things were for Republicans until they did something that I haven't seen them do, I think, since 2012, which is to condemn racism. And you heard that correctly. Republicans are condemning racism. I mean, is it a strong condemnation? Of course not. But they're at least pretending that they think racism is bad. To show you what I mean, Bo French, the Texas nominee for railroad commissioner, shared an image of South Asian Texans celebrating a game, and I guess that he doesn't like that they're doing that. Writing, I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn't believe it. The problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined. Now, by 2026 America standards, that's just something that's pretty common. It's really not that different than something that Randy Fine or Andy Ogle or Trump himself would tweet on any given day. But a lot of Republicans felt the need to pretend like all of a sudden their hearts grew and they oppose racism. In fact, Politico reports that GOP consultants and Republicans in battleground states are now scrambling as a result of this one viral post. quote, "A number of Republican lawmakers, including some in tough races, quickly denounced the post as racist," as others squirmed with carefully worded statements, and GOP operatives winced at the potential electoral backlash in a year that's already looking tougher than normal for a party that has dominated the state for decades. Still, no one explicitly called for him to drop out of the race. Well, of course not, because if Republicans were forced to withdraw from their races because of racism, then there'd be no Republicans running at all across the entire country. But still, their tepid condemnation really does speak to how desperate they are in this moment. Because when Republicans of all people start pandering to people of color for votes, that's when you know they're in deep [ __ ] [ __ ] I find this baffling, almost like it feels like hell has frozen over, even though like they don't believe what they're saying. It's just crazy that the words racism bad would leave their lips. But as much as Republicans are trying to distance themselves from racist candidates that they almost certainly agree with, they're not going to be able to run away from the orange elephant in the room. Because as Max Burns of the Hill reports in Maine, a CNN poll published last week reveals that nearly half of those surveyed view their vote in this year's Senate race as a chance to oppose Trump's agenda. A CBS News Yuggov poll published on Sunday found the same trend nationally, where 45% said they were voting specifically to oppose Trump. Half of Americans now use the words corrupt and extreme to describe Trump's radicalized Republican party. Republicans have so badly alienated regular people that voters are actually excited to punish anyone associated with Trump's failed presidency. So that's why I think that the attacks on Democrats and DSA candidates in particular aren't really landing this time. Because how can an extremist party that's led by an authoritarian fascist accuse anyone else of being extreme after we just watched what they did to our [ __ ] country? Trump has transformed our government into a soft dictatorship and the entire Republican party as well as the Supreme Court wiped their asses with the Constitution. So when you of all people say, "Hey man, these DSA candidates who want to give everybody healthcare are a little bit too extreme." It just rings hollow and it seems like you're full of [ __ ] And it really is hard to overstate how much anger there is at the destruction of the country before our very eyes. I mean, we're less than two years into Trump's second term, and 55% of Project 2025 has already been implemented. And according to researchers at Trump Action Tracker, Trump has taken more than a thousand individual actions to undermine democracy by suppressing descent, controlling the flow of information, weakening civil rights, attacking education, and hollowing out the federal government in order to consolidate power for himself. But let's be honest, Americans probably wouldn't give a [ __ ] about him destroying democracy if the economy was in better shape. But the fact that he's irreparably damaging democracy and diesel is at $6 a gallon, that is completely unforgivable to Americans, even to his own supporters, mind you. But don't take it from me. Let's hear it straight from the horse's mouths. I voted for you. I won't vote for you again. I'm going to be a Democrat. I'm being independent. I don't give a [ __ ] what I'm going to be. I'm going for anybody who's going to lower the cost of goods for the common man cuz this is killing people straight up. >> I still support you. I know you're doing what's best for all of us. I know what you're doing in Iran. They can't have a nuke, but I'm I'm begging you right now to you got to you got to end it. You got to do something. Diesel fuel just broke $6 a gallon. This truck behind me, $275,000 for this truck, and I can't afford to let it leave the garage now because what used to cost me 300 and change now cost me 600 and change. My fuel is doubled. >> This is bad for morale. It's bad for society. It's bad for the pocketbook. It It don't make a dang difference if you're going to give a $5,000 dividend on your tariffs. Why can't I tariff your ass for the inconvenience that you cost on my family? >> So, please, please, I don't have faith in the midterms. I think this Iran thing, which it was good to go in there. Sometimes I think maybe it was better to have let them have a nuke cuz they were just going to hit New York anyway. We don't need New York. All right. Then we could have wiped them out at that point. But I'm telling you, I'm imploring, okay, it's September. My company's just me and my two kids. We try to do it the right way. We pay our fees. We pay our taxes. We try to keep the equipment updated so we can buy new equipment so everything works for everybody. But you got to do something about this fuel. So please, sir, you still got my support, but man, you got to do something. You got to end this in Iran. Get it done. Finish it. And you keep preaching about we're energy independence. Why are we still traded in the WTI? Why don't we just keep our own fuel here for the Americans? >> This is a problem, dude. Swallow your pride. Like, when are we going to worry about America? America first. We gonna have be energy independent. >> [ __ ] brother. [ __ ] >> I'm sorry, but is it too much to ask for you to spit out your chewing tobacco before you make a [ __ ] video? Is that an unreasonable request? Like, you already look like a dumbass for bitching about the president that you voted for. And the chipmunk aesthetic, it just makes you seem so much more unserious than you already are. Like, it's giving glue huffing cousin [ __ ] vibes. But I shouldn't be too hard on that guy in particular because he's at least smart enough to know that it's a bad idea to vote against his own self-interest. Again, the other guy, however, I think he's just cooked mentally. And I would compare him to cattle, but I actually think that cows are more sentient than he is. And I actually mean that. I genuinely believe that in my heart of hearts. But as hard as it is to listen to [ __ ] like that, they truly are the best gauges for how well the GOP is currently doing. And the fact that those kinds of people are starting to abandon Donald Trump, that really does speak to the fact that Republicans are up Shitz Creek without a paddle. These people are basically adult versions of iPad kids. But instead of a sippy cup and an iPad, all it really takes to keep them content is cheap fuel and borderline poverty wages in perpetuity. They're fine if their quality of life never improves so long as minorities are worse off than they are. But the second that their subpar standard of living dips below the mean, that's when they start to throw their temper tantrums. And we have officially reached that point. And Trump has seemingly tried to exacerbate all of the problems that piss people like that off. Biden was actually starting to get pandemicinduced inflation under control. But Trump came in and he ruined it all with tariffs. On top of that, gasoline prices were actually relatively stable until Trump decided to illegally invade Iran and lose that war to them. But all of the things that he's doing, the policy decisions he's unilaterally making, it's creating political conditions that are conducive to a bloodbath for Republicans in November. And I think that this compilation from Harry Anton really puts into perspective just how cooked the GOP is. Independence on Trump and inflation in August of 2024. Look at that. He was more trust than inflation by 12 points over Kla Harris. A very big reason that he won. Look at this net approval rating now though. WHOA. WAY down there. We're talking about what is that? We're talking about a 76 point switcheroo on the president of the United States. An issue in which he beat Kaml Harris by 12 points on. He is now 64 points underwater. You don't see changes like this. What's the top issue for independence right now? It's inflation at 38%. And you look at what number two is, it's the economy. Very closely related at 14%. We're sort of talking more than 50% of the public either saying inflation or the economy. And then the Iran war is three at 10% which also has a lot to do with inflation. So this is going to be the key issue in the midterm elections for independents. And they really, really, really hate Republicans and Donald Trump right now. At the beginning of Trump's second term, he was above water at plus two points. Look at where he is now. He's 31 points underwater. You want to talk about a problem for the incumbent party, for the Republicans. We are talking about record high spikes in gas prices. I mean, just look at this. Okay, you know, normally gas prices do go up during the course of an election year, during the course of a midterm year, but never this high. This is record-breaking. We are talking record-breaking for a midterm this century. Changing gas prices from January 1 to September 14th. The average for a midterm cycle this century is 18%. But look at this on the right side of your screen. 52% rise this year. 52% rise. I said up like a rocket, right? Look at that. My goodness gracious. By far the highest on record. prior high was just 27%. This is nearly double the prior record high. We are talking really, really large jumps. >> And this is for the year, this election season, if you're thinking about heading past Labor Day into November. Where does that compare to past years? >> Yeah. Normally what you see is in the prior month, that is from August 14th to September 14th, normally you go down. So again, looking at 21st century midterm elections went down, all of them prior to 2026. This year, however, the gas prices have actually been going up up and away. They have actually risen up 6% over the last month. So, normally you're getting, hey, there's some some relief going on with gas gas prices as we go into the midterm election. Not this year. In fact, the relief not there at all. In fact, there is more pain at the pump. Now, look at this. Willing to pay more because of the Iran war. Overall, 71% say they're unwilling compared to just 29% who say will. Look at this number among independents. 81% 81% four in five say they are unwilling to pay for higher gas prices because the war on President Trump's argument not winning the day. >> I mean even if Trump wasn't causing all of this it'd still be a liability for Republicans because the party in power always gets blamed for economic woes. But the fact that you can draw a direct line between higher prices and Donald Trump's policies and he's saying that he doesn't give a [ __ ] about affordability, it just makes the situation so much worse for Republicans. It's why they're dialing up the transphobia and screaming about how extreme DSA candidates are because like what else are they going to do? Their only hope is to distract people. So, they're desperately trying to distract everybody from the disaster that they caused by hoping that once again you're going to take the anti-trans, anti-immigrant bait. Now, the problem is that I feel like this can work when they're out of power, right? But when you're in power and things are so bad and you've already demonized and marginalized trans people and immigrants, it's just not going to land. So, what do you do? How do you defend yourself? And JD Vance was actually confronted about how Trump broke his core promises on the campaign. And even though JD Vance tried his best to polish that turd, he still ended up drowning in [ __ ] Your constituents, the people who voted for you, are extremely frustrated about two issues. Let's just tackle them head on. The first is you promised us you wouldn't start a foreign war. You promised us you wouldn't start a foreign war in the Middle East specifically. And then you promised you would get inflation under control. You haven't been able to get inflation under control. Still 3 or 4% this year. It's not looking good. And Americans, specifically the people who voted for you, Mr. Vice President, are very upset about starting this war. What is your message to them? How do these two issues get resolved? Because people are very unhappy about it. >> Yeah. Yeah. So, so Jason, I understand that and I certainly hear from people. And what I would say first of all is we invite people into the coalition who disagree with us. You don't have to agree with us on every single issue. But on the war specifically, what I I would say is look, the president came in and yes, he wanted to keep the United States out of foreign entanglements. He also said that he was committed to Iran not having a nuclear weapon. And I think that wanting to keep the United States out of foreign entanglements does not mean that you can never use the military in order to accomplish the American people's objectives. Now, all that said, despite the fact that we did accomplish a substantial destruction, not just of their nuclear program, but also of the Iranian conventional military, we've seen the Iranians shooting at commercial shipping, even in the midst of peace negotiations. And I think the president has actually done the responsible thing here, which is to try to ensure that world energy markets, despite Iranian terrorism, continue to get that flow of oil and gas. And so what I would say to anybody who's frustrated right now is the alternative here, which is the United States effectively says to the Middle East, you're on your own, would mean necessarily a worldwide energy crisis so long as the Iranians keep on shooting at shipping, which we know that's exactly what they would do. So, I think the president is taking the responsible course of action. He's protecting America's assets in the region while also ensuring that world energy markets continue to get a supply of oil and natural gas. And you on the inflation, Jason, I I think we've made a lot of progress. To my point earlier, Rome was not built in a day, but you know, under the Biden administration, we had inflation, I think, at 9 12% annualized. That's the highest rate in about 48 years. You're right. 3 and a half% is still too high, but you've seen substantial progress and of course we're going to keep on making progress. I guess my pitch to the American people and to to your listeners certainly would be, do you want to reelect the people who have made substantial progress accepting there's still a lot of work to be done or do you want to go back to the people who caused the problem in the first place? And obviously I'm biased, but I think that you should elect the people who have actually made substantial progress while recognizing a lot more progress needs to happen. >> So you can kind of see now why he has basically resorted to begging voters to give Republicans a second chance because you can't really defend anything that's happening right now. And when you try to, even the dumbest Americans can sense that it's all [ __ ] because they only speak one language and that is lower gas prices. So unless you do that, they're not going to fall for whatever excuse you cook up. some will, but not enough to actually matter. And that's the problem that they're dealing with right now. And let's walk through some of the [ __ ] that he said because what he said is so disingenuous that I hope by now Americans understand that this regime, they lie like they [ __ ] breathe. So he said that Trump didn't want Iran to have a nuclear weapon. Okay, then why did he rip up the JCPOA which literally prevented them from enriching uranium past 3.67%. That was working. The International Atomic Energy Agency verified that they were in fact in compliance and then Trump chose to withdraw. Why would you do that? Make it make sense. If you don't want them to have a nuke, why would you re on that deal? And another thing, if Trump didn't want Iran to have a nuclear weapon and he supposedly obliterated their nuclear capacity during the 12-day war in 2025, then why are we at Iran right now? Was he lying then or is he lying now? It just doesn't add up. And it's funny that JD Vance accuses Iran of terrorism when it's the United States that's bombing schools. But according to him, Iran exerting control over the straight of Hormuz, that's also tantamount to terrorism. But riddle me this, JD, who provoked Iran into doing that in the first place. See, because had Trump not invaded Iran, the straight of Hormuz as well as the Bob Almandab Strait would be open right now, [ __ ] But he invaded and then they used that as a point of leverage which is what every single person with the brain acknowledged that they were going to do. Hence why other war hawks like George W. Bush did not invade them as much as he wanted to because he knew it would be catastrophic to our economy. But like it's because of Trump's stupidity and militarism that we're in this environment and you blaming Iran doesn't land when we all saw Trump say I am the one who's choosing to go to war with Iran. Iran didn't attack us, we attacked them. And to add insult to injury, Trump cut subsidies for renewable energy because he wants to prove to us that climate change is a hoax. So, you know, that's kind of a cell phone. Nonetheless, cutting subsidies to renewable energy is the opposite thing of what we should be doing right now. Not only because we need to get our fossil fuel dependency under control, but because had we not been so dependent on fossil fuels, the energy crisis that he caused would have maybe been mitigated at least a little bit right now. And I hate this idea that the Iran war is some one-off for Donald Trump who's otherwise against war because that's also complete horseshit. An analysis by The Intercept found that the supposed peace president has militarily intervened in more than 20 different countries throughout his first 5 years in office. They explain during his two terms in office, Trump has overseen armed interventions and military operations, including drone strikes, ground raids, proxy wars, 127E programs, and full-scale conflicts in Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Ecuador, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, the Philippines, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia, Venezuela, Yemen, and an unspec specified country in the Indo-Pacific region, as well as attacks on civilians in boats in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. More than 6,500 US special operations forces, operators, and enablers are currently deployed in more than 80 countries around the world. And during his second term, the Trump administration has also bullied Panama and threatened Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Greenland, perhaps also Iceland, and Mexico. And most of these interventions are done in secrecy, by the way. But if that wasn't enough, he's also giving even more of our money to the genocidal apartheid state of Israel. Specifically, an additional $2.8 billion from taxpayers so they can buy 2,000lb bombs that they're inevitably going to drop on the heads of children in Gaza, southern Lebanon, and Iran. So, to go back to JD Vance's limpick defense of his boss, Iran isn't an outlier. Donald Trump is and always has been a neoconservative wararmonger. And the Americans who didn't pay attention to his militarism in his first term, they can't not notice it now. In part because he's always bombing or threatening to bomb other countries and also because he refuses to stop reminding people about all of the countries that he wants to invade next, even if they're our allies. So needless to say, it's not looking too good for Republicans. And the only thing sweeter to me than watching these fascist [ __ ] wads get obliterated in November is going to be the looks on their faces when it happens. Because I want to see a [ __ ] storm of epic proportions. I'm not just talking about tears. I want every Republican household to smell like feces from the pen [ __ ] that will ensue after they watch the fascists that they supported go down one by one in state after state. I want results that'll leave these [ __ ] catatonic for days because they deserve nothing less for what they put us through, for what they put the world through. And this one election, I understand it's not going to change much in the short term. Trump is still going to be president. But all that I'm hoping for is just a tiny little taste of satisfaction by seeing the worst people in the world get a small comeuppance. That's all I'm asking for. So, America, don't let me down. You've done it before, so you're probably going to do it again. Nonetheless, let's make this a landslide like no other landslide in American history.
