It's Time To Get Wolfbane... The Most Powerful Paladin Weapon In WoW Forever

So everybody, let's talk about this. I'm finally level 20. I'm finally level 20. And what happens whenever you're level 20, you get access to Usually people don't do it quite at level 20. It's it's like the first level that you you have access to it. But Veraraggan's Fist, it's like this legendary weapon, right? It's like the big paladin weapon that you get. And it's funny cuz it's not actually like the best most optimized weapon, but people talk about how good it is because you can get it at such an early level and it's so much DPS that it'll last you for a very long time as a paladin. Alliance Paladin Quest has a horde paladin counterpart to it. Right. The name of the Horde Varagan's Fist is called Wolves Bane. And let me show you this thing. This thing is a beast. 10 in, nine stamina, 3.4 speed. Sear the target with a vortex of blazing wind dealing 39 to 59 holy storm. What is a holy storm damage deals three times as much damage to wolves and Wargan. That's pretty cool. >> Wolf mane. It looks sick. Great looking weapon. We're going to do the quest now. The quest actually started in Fenrris isle fenerous keep. And you do an escort. And honestly, I didn't really realize it. Someone said, "Wait, that's the quest for this." So, we had to go take Lumina Windser. We saved her and she's hanging out at the Seoulure, right, which is this area uh the quest hub for Silver Pine Forest. So, we're we're on our way to Seoulure. We're going to go talk to Lumina Wininger and we're going to start this quest. So, I need to talk to her now that she's here. Okay, she is here. >> Okay, so she's a skyborn elf, a scelf. Tell me more of what happened on the road, Lumina. As I said, the creature that attacked us fled when I singed its backside with lightning. But not before Bannon. On our way back to town, the null surrounded us and took us captive. It wasn't until they started to pull us out of the boat on Fener's aisle that the change started. There's no words to describe what happened. Bannon twisted and contorted horribly. It sounded like every bone in his body was breaking. His mouth filled with razors and his hands became deadly claws. And it took 20 nles to fell him. And he killed half of them before it was done. I'm sorry, Lumina. It sounds like he saved you from a terrible fate. When it was over, I was stunned. He knew what would happen, and he threw himself in front of that creature anyway to shield me. We wind shavers always pay our debts, and I owe him a debt. We've already avenged his death, but we can still avenge what was done to him by that monster. If you're willing to lend me aid, we will see it done. Okay, let's pay the debt. >> Okay, I didn't get to read that. That was annoying because of uh this thing. A second. Okay, this is what she said. She goes, "I think you should know that it wasn't actually the Nolles who attacked us on the road. We were actually attacked by a giant wolflike creature that I now know as a Wargan. It dispatched our guards and came for me, but Bannon threw himself in its path. I managed to get a spell off which startled the creature, causing it to flee. But Bannon was already badly bitten. He insisted that I leave him there, but I refused. We were limping back here when the Nles found us. What came next was terrifying. So now you understand. At the very end of his strength, after being pierced by a dozen null blades, he reared up to strike me. In that final moment, we locked eyes and I could tell he still knew who he was and that he recognized me. He knew what was happening, but he had no control over himself. That was the worst part. If such a thing is possible, I will see the creature that doomed him dead so that I can never visit this horror on another living thing. I swear it upon the sky above. A moon-kissed blade. >> Z will not fall. >> Trevan tells me that the Wargan are a major threat to the citizens of Silverpine Forest. Despite their strength and resilience, they can be killed. But there is one in particular that just doesn't ever seem to stay paladin due to unknown magic. >> That is true. >> That's the one that attacked us. He is known as Old Fire Eye and he is the biggest and meanest of their kind. To put him down, we need a special kind of weapon. Speak with Trevan and he will supply you with a list of what is needed to forge such a weapon. Speak with Trevan Rol in the subulture and bring him the materials he requires. >> Meet again. >> Hey Trevan, you're right here. Tell me about how to forge the weapon we need to destroy Old Fire Eye. The son of Arugal that attacked Luminina is known as Old Fire Eye. He is not only well known for his ferocity, but for his stubborn refusal to die. I've been doing a fair amount of research, and I think that we can forge a blade that will do the trick and put him down for good. Here, I've prepared a list of materials and information about how to get them for you. When you've gathered what we need, return to me, and we'll get started. Reach out your hand and take the note from Trevan. >> Watch your back. >> Okay, you got to read the note. Look in the bag. Trevan weapon notes. Espend old fire is a magical creature of the night. And as such, you require a magical weapon that is also of the night. We can inuse such a weapon with the light of the full moon and use it to turn the dark magic that drives this creature against itself. For this, we need a specific set of materials to craft a blade of brilliant moon silver capable of destroying this evil utterly. This won't be easy, but you've shown great promise, so I trust that you'll be able to get what we need. Enchanted moons silver. This is the key ingredient to our creation. Moon silver is an incredibly rare material made from enchanted silver infused with the raw power of the moon. A number of weapons were forged to fight off the Wargan once the curse began to take hold in Silverpine. Unfortunately, they are all lost now, and the location of the last remaining moons ingots is unknown. There's a rumor that there was a cache of such material in Shadow Fang Keep to the south. It's a long shot, but it's our best bet for now to find some of this moons. Some good whit stone oak. There is a place in Westfall known as Moonbrook that once had an abundance of the lumber used by the Alliance artisans to rebuild Stormwind after the Second War. Moonbrook has fallen on tough times, but I've heard that goblin wood carvers have been hired by a syndicate of bandits to build something in the mines under the town. I'd bet my left boot that they would have claimed any of the rare lumber that was left in town when they moved in. And a core gem. From the tales I've been told, the gems are used by some spellcasters to hold energy for their magics, making them even deadlier. I believe one of the gem stored energies can be used in your weapons creation. There is a mage I once knew called Ol Frostville that can tell you more of these gems. Last I heard, he was in Kalindor at the Zaramgar outpost in Western Ashen. Okay, so you're going to the same places. So you craft a different weapon, but you need a core gem, you need the lumber, and then eventually we're going to go into Shadow Fang Keep, I'm sure, because of Wargans. Okay, a moonissed blade. So we got the note. Now we need white stone oak lumber, enchanted silver ingot, and a purified core gem. So we need to go do dead mines. We need to go to Shadow Fang. We're going to end up needing to go to BFD. Guys, I need to get a group for Shadow Fang Keep. Gentlemen, listen. I have compiled a team. The best of the best of the best. All right, it's time to go into SFK. We're working on our Wolf's Bane quest. It's the undead version of Varan's Fist. And of course, it's way the hell better than what the Alliance gets. Varian's Fist is a very powerful weapon. Iconic Paladin weapon. I've gotten together the best of the best of the best team that you can possibly imagine. The best team that money can buy. At least for what I paid for it was $0. And we're about to go into Shadow Fang Keep. Now, it's not going to be easy. SFK is gonna be hard, I think, because we got four level 20s, one level 18, and I'm pretty sure the last boss is like level 24 or 25. So, it's not going to be easy. So, we got to be on the ball. We're going to be consumed. We got to be paying attention. We got to be watching our threat without a threat meter. Good luck. So, let's get out there and let's get after it. Okay. To SFK, gentlemen. Dude, I feel like they screwed up bad with it with the level 20 gearing. I've been thinking about it more and more. I actually think they screwed up bad. RFC and Hall of Fame should have been mostly green gear. I think Ruins of Lorderon should have have had a mix of green and blue gear. I think you should have kept the gear from dead mines and wailing caverns but reitemized it a little bit but it should have kept the same sort of maybe a little bit more blue than than it was before, right? But you should have kept the same rarities and then by the time you get to level 20 is whenever you're like, "Okay, all the bosses drop only blues." It's stupid. Everything is like way too easy now. You have way too many stats. It's stupid. Wait, what? I just got all three of these items. Like, I got three, dude. I got three blue shoulders from one quest at level 20 in Shadow Fang Keep and all I had to do was run ring around the Rosie and talk to this guy. You cannot tell me that. You can't tell me that they're not handing gear way too easily. Yeah, it's got to be a bug. But like the even about the blue shoulders, does Blizzard ask for feedback? Yeah, I talk to him every day. You think it's a bug? You should report it. I just messaged him. Blade of silver level. Oh, 28 spell damage sword, but it's require level 21. Need if you need, I guess. Wait, nobody else needs that. Oh, I guess. So, Arugal, this is a bad guy. He teleports. He does an aggro reset. Okay, he does a threat drop. So, every time he teleports, you have to stop doing damage cuz he's a little bit higher level. always going to resist some stuff, right? So, just stop doing damage whenever he teleports. Unsurprising as these are sometimes employed to empower magical weapons and implements by the paladin of the alliance. Why should a fallen paladin like you be any different? If you truly desire one of the gems, then you must head north to the ruins known as Black Fathom Deeps. The Naga who still use the gems are down below. Do not go alone. In Taran Mill, there's a weaponsman known by aught. By all accounts, he's an unremarkable smith selling civil blades to travelers. I purchased a sword from him myself and when I took it to the unders city for maintenance sometime later the smiths there were surprised at its quality. They assumed it came from a well-known mastermith but no it was just aught. I'd like to give this orc a chance to do something truly special.
