Video summary

The video documents a significant trading failure where the creator lost $1,885 on their evaluation account, effectively blowing it just days before reaching the final stage to move to a funded status. The disaster began when the trader could not sleep and decided to trade at 1:00 AM, leading to a loss of discipline and a state known as "tilt." Despite having only needed a small additional profit of around $1,100 to complete the evaluation, the trader ignored their established rules, overleveraged positions, and traded against the prevailing market trend. The core issue was not a lack of technical knowledge but rather an inability to control emotions and stick to the plan once the trading screen was opened. The creator provides a detailed breakdown of the specific trade that led to the account's destruction, explaining how they initially identified a valid setup using higher time frame analysis, market structure, and volume profile points of control. The intended strategy involved entering at a demand zone, placing a stop loss below a recent low, and holding the position until a clear signal appeared on lower time frames. However, impatience caused the trader to exit the winning trade prematurely before it could fully develop. Instead of letting the profit run or adding to the position as the market moved favorably, the trader succumbed to FOMO and fear, switching between buying calls and selling puts in a chaotic manner that resulted in multiple stop-outs and massive losses. Ultimately, the video serves as a powerful lesson on the psychological aspects of trading, emphasizing that success depends entirely on self-mastery rather than chart patterns or prop firm rules. The creator explicitly states that they are not blaming the prop firm for the loss, noting that the market moved exactly as expected regardless of the platform used. The primary culprit was identified as a lack of patience and an urge to hurry up and catch every move, which led to deviating from the strategy and destroying all previous progress in a single day. Moving forward, the trader plans to scale back position sizes, learn how to properly add to winning trades, and focus on controlling their mindset to avoid repeating such costly mistakes in the future.

It's Rome and I'm back with another video. If you're not subscribed, do me a favor, hit that subscribe button. I appreciate all the love and support. You guys see the screen already. Today I lost $1,885 on my takeprofit funded account. Well, eval account. I went on tilt, guys. I I don't know what I was I know what I was doing, not what I was supposed to be doing. First off, I couldn't sleep. So, guess what I do? I get up at 1:00 in the morning and start trying to trade. Now, I had a couple trades that was okay and then I just went out of control from there. Um, not following my rules on the charts. I had the whole setup, guys. I'm going to show you guys everything of what I saw. I'm going to show you guys where I bought and where what I was what was supposed to happen. And today was going to be the day that we was going to complete this eval and move to the fun stage. Um, let's go over here. As you guys can see, we only needed like $1,100. Um, so we was one trade away from really Look at look at look look. I was getting better and better, doing great. And I told you guys this before, all it takes is one day, one time for you to blow your account. I went on tilt. I was overleveraging. I was going against the trend. I was doing all types of things. You say you going to do this, you say you going to do that, but right when you get to the screen, you do all types of things. Now, at this particular point, let's go back to this. We only can lose like $100, $105 or something like that. So, we got to start from scratch, keep on moving and grooving. This was supposed to be my trade. Let me go ahead and show it to y'all. Right here, this is the trade. You have the previous weak point of control. We had the zone. I'm going to show you guys everything of what I saw. This is my stop loss. I got in right here. This is my take profit. That was all I was supposed to do. But instead, I did whatever I wanted to do. How did I come to this conclusion? I don't know why I keep going against I know how to do market structure, but I don't know why I keep going against it for some odd reason, guys. It was sweet. I could have That's all we needed to do was get that little trade. Let me clear the screen. Here we go. Let's talk about market structure. As you guys can see, this is the 4hour chart. This right here was the high. We closed over this high. So, last night I'm looking, I'm like, "Okay, cool. We should pull back and continue keep going forward because we closed above this high." This was on Friday. How do I find out where I'm supposed to get in at? As you guys can see, these three down candles right here. These candles closed down. You need to look for the last candle that closed down. And you can kind of see it right here. So, this would be the low. That's the 4hour low right there. How do you find out where to get in and get out at this dogee right here? You see this cross dogee right here? You're going to put this is a demand zone. You're going to put this over this just like this. This is my zone. This is how I took the trade. This how I took well how I was supposed to take the trade. Let's let's I say how I took the trade. I did take the trade, but I got out way too early cuz I was on a fiveminute chart messing around. Then I'm going to come to the 1 hour chart and refine it some. Let's go here. We going to go to this dogee. You see that dogee? Look at look at the charge right there. Another thing that I do is I use the volume profile. This is a weekly volume profile. This is the point of control from last week right here. Mark that off on your chart, too. So, this is another guide I use to help me take these trade. Well, supposedly take these trades. Look how simple that was. That was an easy trade. Get in right here. Once it start once it get to the zone, now when I get to the zone, I got to see what it's doing at the zone. What what happened at the zone? We had some engulfing candles right here. We pushed up. We came back boom a little bit and then boom I end up getting in. I think I got in um I got in here that candle right there. Put my stop loss under here. Right under this low and I was supposed to let it go until I had a 10 a 10 minute right here in balance. I was just supposed to take it to right here. That's it right there. From here to there. The market didn't open yet. So I saw this going on before the market. I'm like I don't know man. Boom. And then it got right here and I'm like I don't know cuz I don't know. I don't want to be trading right before the market open. And then the market opened and this happened. I got out way too early. I probably got out the trade like here once I start seeing it like fluttering around a little bit. I got out there. Then I decided, you know what? I'm going to buy a put right around here. Why did I do that? Because I saw this volume profile. This wasn't like this at the time. Saw this volume profile. The PC was right here. This is my first take profit and I was going to move it to the next one. PC right there. It was above it at first. It was rejecting the PC, rejecting, rejecting, rejecting it. I'm like, I'm going take it back down. at Rome. Look at the higher time frame, Jerome. Then after that, I just have to show you this. I was going to show y'all the truth. Show you all the truth. See, I told y'all on this channel, you going to get the good, bad, and ugly. Let me separate the days again. The good, bad, and ugly. Do you guys want to see all the trades I took? Let me empty out the charts so you can guys can see how chaotic and out of control I was. Let's go ahead and put the executions on there so you guys can see. These are all the quadrillion trades I took. I got So, this was a trade I took earlier in the morning. This was two. Look, look, look at the time. 2:40 in the morning to up here. Came back down. Boom. I bought the call cuz I saw the PC and everything previously and I'm like, I'mma buy it. I'mma buy it right here. And I got stopped. I had a two two sides of a stop loss. Then I bought right here and I told you guys I s started selling early once it started doing this fluttering around here. I started selling. Then I decided to take a put right here. Buy a put right there. Got stopped out of that. Blasted right through that. Get up here. Overlever. What are you doing? 60 contracts. What are you doing? Why? Please tell me why I bought Uhuh. I tried to sell 60 contracts cuz now I'm on tilt. Now I'm trying to get back right to that watermark and I'm out here tweaking 60 contracts. I bought 10. I'm going keep on buying it down. 10 10 then you know once you start buying then it gets stuck on the thing. Then you start buying 10. Next thing you know I bought 60 contracts the maximum amount and did all this and destroy all of this progress. All of this progress. All Hold on. Wait. Let's go ahead to it. Let's go to this month. I don't know how long it's been, but this month. Go right here. Destroyed all of this progress in one day on a Monday. Monday, me and money don't get along. All this progress, all this these good trades. The first time I come up with that count, 1,200, lose 400, you know, 500, then start doing good 200, 200, then start getting then I get 9 something. Then you do this and destroy all of it in one freaking day. One day, destroy everything. all of the hard work, all of the taking of my time, destroyed it all in one day. So, moving forward, what needs to happen is I need to take my time and use the market structure. I know how to do it, but I always get caught in the hoopla tweaking. So, now we back to the drawing board. We still have the account, but we we if we lose $100, the jig is up. Y'all saw the thing. It said if we get to 49,00 Oh, hold on. Wait, wait. If we get to $49,97, the jig is up. Right now, we at $50, $2225. So, we got like $100 some dollars left. That's it. And then the jig is up. Listen guys, I make this on this channel so you guys can see the good, bad, and the ugly. I know the market structure. I had the PC right there. I'm just impatient. I don't know why I was trying to hurry up and run over here and do this and do that. And now look, I destroyed the account and we was right there. And I want to say this. I'm going to say this right now cuz I know people love to say this. It was not the prop firm. It was me. It is not the prop firm. It's you. It was me. It's not the prop firm. I'm not blaming them because guess what? See, the thing is people blame the prop firms, but I've actually looked at the prop farm and looked at the regular chart at the same time and it was moving the same exact way. I've looked at it multiple times just to make sure because people say, "Oh, the prop firm this, all the prop firm that." Oh, no. It was me. It was all me and it had nothing to do with the prop firm. It was all my fault. I went out of control trying to hurry up and get it. I think it's more it's psychological. It's all about your mind. It's all about your mind. I went on here and destroyed everything I built over this time. All it takes is one day, guys. I told I told you guys in the other video, we are one trade in one day away from blowing up this account. And that's what I did. I don't, you know, I don't wish negativity on myself at all, anyone else. But I went in here and tweaked. I went in here trying to hurry up and get on this chart at 1:00 in the morning cuz I couldn't sleep waking up cuz I, you know, I be dreaming about getting on this uh trading. You know, I love I love this even though I tweet. I do love this is the best thing. Honestly, this is by far way better than any other thing I have done because it's all about mastering self. It's all about you. It ain't got nothing to do with the charts. It ain't got nothing to do with the platform. Ain't got to do do with nothing. It's all about you and controlling your emotions and mastering self because the charts are going to do what the charts are going to do. The question is, what are you going to do? Y'all saw what I did. Messed up the whole account. I'm I rate right now. I'm pretty upset at this at myself. It's not nobody else fault but my own self. Um it just is what it is. I'll take you guys along on the process. I showed you guys I'm the good, bad, and the ugly. Um, sometimes you're going to do good, sometimes you're going to do terrible. It just comes with the territory. And I know there's some people say, "Well, you did this, you did this, and you went against the trend and all this." The trend changed. And I understand what you're saying, but I I lowkey, honestly, to be honest with you guys, I do know what I'm doing, but I just always do dumb stuff. I don't I just don't get it. I do not understand it. It's the lack of patience. It's the lack of patience. I should have set the thing up and walked away. And I did set it up and walked away. I'm so thirsty to get on these charts and and try to hurry up and catch this move. And guess what? Honestly, got in the move in the middle of my work. I'm supposed to be working. I'm doing all this other stuff. But what I'm supposed to be doing, take what's going on with me to heart, guys. Because for those of you who are starting to trade or about to trade or new to trading or anything or still not profitable, all of it is us. It has nothing to do with the charts. The charts are going to move how the charts going to move. It ain't about what the charts doing. It's about what you going to do. It's not about the prop firm. It's not about any of that. It's all about self. So, I appreciate all the love and support. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I'm low-key salty. I ain't even going to sit here and lie y'all. I'm salty. But the reality of it is I need to slow down and I'm also this is going to have to this is what this going to do, right? I'm going to take this this bad experience and make it a learning lesson for myself. And what this is going to do is going to help me learn how to trade smaller and learn how to add to my trade. That's one of the things I need to learn how to do. is going to help me learn how to add to my trade because I was not supposed to get out right here before I even hit there. I could have been adding. Why? Why could I have been adding? We never closed under a low. We never closed under a low. The last candle that closed under a candle. The last candle that closed under the candle was here. Right there, Jerome. Right there. That was the last candle that closed out of the candle after we broke the structure right there. And then we broke it again here. A little one. Boom. Right here. This a smaller structure. It's not the real structure. A small one. We never closed under the last candle that closed under a candle. We just stayed right here. So instead of me trying to sell or buy a put, I could have been adding right here. When it came down, add. When it came down, add. When it came down, add. Move my stop loss up to here or right here. Add right here. So now we in a free trade. And then this happens. Boom. We in the money. We profitable. We moving on. We moving forward. but instead I decided to do what I want supposed to do. So, I hope you guys learn from my states and author it be great. I appreciate all the love and support.
