Video summary
The video addresses the common question of whether a narcissist finds happiness with a new partner after leaving an ex, arguing that this is a misleading assumption based on the narcissist's curated public image. The speaker shares personal experiences dating multiple narcissists who appeared to have a dramatic "glow up" and seemed incredibly happy while in relationships, only to become depressed, engage in destructive behaviors like drug use, and lose their brightness once those relationships ended. This pattern suggests that the apparent joy displayed on social media or in photos is merely a performance designed to confuse ex-partners and punish them with resentment, rather than a reflection of genuine contentment. The narcissist's primary motivation is often maintaining an image of perfection and securing immediate gratification, which inevitably leads to the destruction of both themselves and their partners once the novelty wears off.
Furthermore, the transcript explains that the core issue lies in the narcissist's inability to feel true empathy or sustain happiness, regardless of who they are with. Their relationships follow a toxic cycle where initial charm and sexual manipulation give way to devaluation, abuse, and cheating very quickly. The speaker notes that if one could speak to the new partner, they would likely share identical experiences of being belittled, having their goals destroyed, and feeling unappreciated for all their efforts. This is because the narcissist lacks the capacity for genuine connection or love; instead, they view everyone as beneath them and use relationships solely to feed their ego and supply needs. Consequently, no amount of effort from a new partner can make a narcissist happy, as their internal disorder prevents them from ever finding peace or satisfaction.
Ultimately, the video concludes that worrying about a narcissist's happiness is unnecessary and counterproductive to one's own healing process. The speaker emphasizes that these individuals are miserable by nature and will continue to move from one failed relationship to another without ever finding lasting fulfillment. Instead of feeling jealous or trying to figure out if someone else can "fix" them, the focus should remain on personal growth, reclaiming one's confidence, and pursuing genuine happiness. By recognizing that the narcissist needed the ex-partner more than the other way around, survivors can let go of obsession and indifference becomes the ultimate form of revenge. The message is clear: do not look at their fake displays of joy, but rather celebrate your own recovery and remember that true happiness comes from within, not from someone who is incapable of offering it.

Is the narcissist happier with someone
else?
Sometimes we may ask ourselves if the
narcissist is happier with someone else.
Because they devalued us for such a long
time.
And it left us questioning ourselves,
doubting ourselves.
It affected our confidence
despite everything that we were doing
for them.
And so it leaves us wondering
if maybe they're happy now with this new
person they're with.
So I know it's something that we all
have to think about.
And I think that's normal with any
relationship.
You do want to know if the person you
were with is happier.
Especially when we're dealing with
narcissists because
they clearly had a problem with you.
They made you feel like something was
wrong with you.
Or like you just weren't good enough.
And because when you're dealing with a
narcissist
after they leave you, it's always going
to look amazing.
It's always going to look incredible.
It's like they suddenly just had this
big glow up.
And they're so much happier now.
Everything is good for them.
And I dated several narcissists in the
past.
And they all dated many different people
in the years that we were apart.
Now when they were with me
they seemed like they were much happier.
But then afterwards
once they got involved with these other
people
they appeared to become
depressed.
They seemed much less brighter than they
were before
when they were with me.
And they also got involved in all kinds
of things
such as drugs.
And yeah, they just weren't the same
as they were before.
I don't know what they're doing now or
who they're with
because I haven't looked on their social
media for years.
But every time I remember they were with
someone new
and they would always say the same thing
every time.
This new person is amazing.
This new person is incredible.
Or they would look happy in their
photos.
And they would be doing all of these
things.
They would be buying luxury items,
designer clothes.
They would be going on vacations.
And in the comments everyone would say
that they look good together.
They're the perfect couple.
So they've got everyone supporting them.
They've got their friends, their family,
everyone.
But I always noticed this pattern.
They would always end up destroying
themselves.
And they would end up destroying
everyone that they're with.
They would end up wearing less and less
clothes.
Getting lots of tattoos, doing drugs.
And they weren't doing this stuff
before.
They weren't doing this when they were
with you.
But then they're doing this after they
leave you.
And they're doing this while we're
healing?
While we're focusing
on our growth.
While we're having our actual real
glow-up.
So, they are not happier.
And they're never happy.
Is the narcissist happier with someone
else?
That's not even the right question to
ask.
Because they're miserable.
They're miserable with you.
And they're miserable
every day even after they leave you.
So,
don't think that there's something
that someone else could do.
Like someone else could come in and
replace you.
It's never going to be like that for
them.
This is what they do. They make you
doubt yourself.
They target your confidence.
So, you've just got to look back and
remember the person that you were for
them.
Everything that you gave to them and did
for them.
Because
just look at how they reacted to that.
They were never happy.
They were never grateful.
They never appreciated you.
So, it doesn't matter what someone does
for them.
That doesn't make them happy inside.
They are always miserable.
They hate everyone.
And honestly, it seems as though
the more you do for them, the more they
hate you.
They don't appreciate any of it.
Because they have no respect for anyone.
Now, they may fear authority.
They may fear the police.
But, that's only because they don't want
to go to jail.
And if you listen to them carefully,
they will tell themselves
they don't actually care about the
behaviors.
For them, the only problem
is if you get caught.
And that's why they lie, they hide
things,
they make friends with people in
authority,
and it's because they're afraid.
It's not because they respect authority.
It's not because they're trying to be
better.
They don't care about anyone.
And in their minds, everyone is beneath
them.
But yeah, like I said, it always looks
like they're happier.
If you see them in person with their new
supply,
they want you to think that they're
happy with them.
And of course, you know, they know that
they've left you without any answers.
They've left you in a state of
confusion.
So, they're expecting you to be looking
on their social media,
trying to figure things out,
trying to figure out
where they've gone, who they're with.
And they've already curated these
pictures for you
to make you think that they're happier
now without you.
So, it's all bait.
And it's all meant to punish you because
they're resentful.
No matter what you do, it could never
make them happy.
So, don't look at that.
And just laugh at it if you can.
But, if you can't laugh at it, don't
look at it
because this can damage you.
When you're looking at someone who is
toxic,
and yet you're seeing it as something
positive,
it can [clears throat] really mess you
up.
Because you have to see it for what it
is.
If you can see it more accurately,
you can then separate yourself from it.
So,
let's start seeing things accurately.
Look at what they even have to offer to
that other person.
What do they have to offer?
Friendship?
Because maybe you had some good times
with them.
You were hanging out together.
And there's always going to be good
times
in any relationship, even with a
narcissist.
But those good times are short.
It doesn't last. It's fleeting.
Most of the time these people are
miserable, or they're bored.
There is always something wrong.
There is always a reason
for them to have to destroy something.
So, they're never going to change.
This disorder cannot be cured.
They could not retrain their brain even
if they wanted to.
Their brain doesn't function normally.
They have no empathy for people.
So, it's all just fake.
Everyone around them is fake.
All they care about is their image.
They have no goals. There's nothing that
they're really passionate about.
Nothing positive that they're really
trying to achieve.
It's all just about their image. It's
all about making themselves look good.
It's all about just making themselves
feel better.
Because deep down they know what
horrible people they are.
Because they are pretending to be
something they're not.
And of course, you know, it always comes
back to sex. Everyone always says, you
know,
sex with a narcissist is amazing.
And you feel like, you know, it's just
it's something that
you can't move on from. It's something
you can't forget.
It's like
yeah, but you know, now this new person
is having sex with them.
And now you're alone, you're lonely.
And yeah, you know, what I'll say to
that is they do use sex to manipulate
people.
You know, that is true, especially the
somatic narcissist.
You know, they probably are very good at
it.
You know, they've had lots of practice.
They have lots of sex with lots of
different people.
So I I I'm sure they're bound to be good
at it by now.
And they will use sex, they will use
their body.
They'll do everything they can to make
this person happy.
But I can guarantee you
they're not happy.
It's all pretend.
It's all a show.
And then it just gets to a point where
they can't pretend anymore.
Because the novelty wears off.
And then that's when the abuse starts.
So they begin to moralize this person.
They call them names. They put them
down.
So what you're seeing in it has nothing
to do with connection.
It has nothing to do with love.
It has nothing to do with a
relationship.
What you're seeing is the toxic cycle
of narcissists.
So they're not going to stay with that
person.
Eventually they will be with someone
else.
And they will be doing the same thing
with that person.
After they're done After they're done
with the person they're with now.
And if you could talk to that person,
you would share
the exact same experiences.
Because they would have experienced the
same thing.
So they would have started hitting them
at the same time they started hitting
you.
They would have cheated on them around
the same time
they started cheating on you.
And they
would have never admitted to anything.
Just like they never admitted anything
to you.
Because it's always the exact same
thing.
They do it all the time.
And it's because they don't know
anything else.
There's no happiness with a narcissist.
They can't create happiness. They can't
sustain happiness.
The only thing they can do
is destroy it.
They destroy happiness.
So, this narcissist
I promise you they will never be happy.
It looks like they're happy.
But that's only because their image is
the most important thing to them.
It's all they care about.
Immediate gratification.
Immediate attention.
But what do they have to offer?
They've got nothing to offer.
Many of them
don't have a proper education.
They don't seem to work a lot.
Or really try to excel in their work.
They're not normally family oriented or
goal oriented.
They don't have any goals.
And that's why they're so envious and
jealous of you.
They don't like it that you have goals.
They don't want you to see uh to to do
well.
So, they destroy your goals.
They take your attention away from your
goals.
They put it down.
They just keep you busy doing stuff for
them.
But it's so bad you're not doing what
you really want to be doing.
You're not achieving what you really
want to achieve.
And I spent a lot of time and attention
on my ex narcissist.
But there was always something wrong.
They were never happy.
There was always a problem.
And they were either angry or they were
depressed.
There was never a sense of peace or
calm.
And it was like this all day, every day.
And there was nothing I could do to help
them.
No matter what I did, it was never
enough.
They were never satisfied.
And I did so much.
But what I do know now is that
they're never going to find anyone
who will do even a fraction of what I
did for them.
So I know they're never going to be
happy with someone else.
And you should know that
they weren't happy with you.
And they weren't happy before they met
you.
They were They were in a bad
relationship before.
So there's nothing that we need to do.
You don't have to warn this new person.
You don't need to destroy the
relationship.
You don't need to contact them.
It's not going to make a difference
anyway.
Because
if their ex-boyfriend or girlfriend
contacted you when you were with them
and they told you that they're a
narcissist
would you have believed them?
You wouldn't have because you liked
them.
And you were glad that you met them.
You didn't want the relationship to end.
So you just assume that their ex must be
crazy, a stalker
obsessed with them or jealous.
And that's why that may have been
exactly what the narcissist told you
they were.
Because they already [clears throat]
know how it makes them look.
But yeah, it's not your responsibility.
You just need to take care of yourself.
And don't worry about if they're happy.
Just focus on your happiness.
Because that's the ultimate revenge.
You do not need them.
You don't need someone who makes you
feel less.
Someone who brings you down.
Be indifferent.
And you're not indifferent now because
you still believe in them.
And as long as you believe in them, it's
going to affect you.
Because you're placing your trust and
belief
in something that's not good for you.
So be indifferent.
Don't care about how they are.
You shouldn't want to hear from them.
Because that is the ultimate revenge.
I don't want to say the only thing that
really makes these people feel better
is thinking that
you or someone else needs them.
And that's why they lie.
That's why they deceive, they
manipulate.
Because that is their supply.
But the truth is that you don't need
them.
You never needed them.
They needed you.
And that's why they wore a mask to get
in with you.
And then once this new relationship
fails,
they will wish they could get a hold of
you.
But then they will go to another
relationship, but then that will that
will that will fail as well.
And if you look at their social media,
you will see it.
Because they're never alone.
They go from one relationship to the
next.
And they're never happy by themselves.
And then as years go by, they have many
relationships.
And all of these relationships are so
amazing.
They're so wonderful.
And they're so much happier now.
But then,
these relationships always seem to end.
And then they're with another person and
they're doing the same thing again.
So, don't ever worry about if these
people are happy or not.
You just have to remember
what you experienced with them.
Remember all of the effort that you put
in, everything you did for them.
Remember what you got back. Remember
what they had to offer.
Remember what they brought to you.
Remember what they brought in your life.
Misery, pain, abuse, destruction.
Now, somebody who affects you in that
type of way,
they're never going to be happy.
It doesn't matter who they're with.
But you,
the entire time, I mean,
just remind yourself what you were
doing.
You were fighting for happiness.
They were making everything miserable.
They were making life
hell for you.
And you were the one trying to fix
everything, trying to make everything
better,
trying to make them happy.
But no matter what you did, it was never
going to be enough.
These people can't be happy.
And they're always going to envy and
resent your happiness and your goals
because they know it's never going to be
like that for them.
So, let them go. Let them move on with
this new person.
Knowing that it's not going to go
anywhere anyway.
So, you have no reason
to feel jealous or to feel like you're
missing out on something.
The happiness is within you.
So, it's time for you to
focus on your happiness then.
Focus on what makes you feel good. Focus
on your healing.
And do the things that you couldn't do
while you were with this abusive,
controlling narcissist.
So, again, I hope this video
