Video summary
The hosts of the Y254 podcast begin their morning discussion by addressing current social issues and personal anecdotes before diving into the main topic of technology. One host shares a frustrating experience with severe traffic delays in Nairobi, highlighting how unexpected events can disrupt daily plans, while also expressing concern over recent news stories involving online safety. They discuss a disturbing case where suspects used TikTok to lure women into secluded areas for robbery and assault, emphasizing the dangers of trusting strangers on social media. The conversation extends to broader societal issues, including xenophobia and the importance of community support, urging listeners to remain vigilant yet compassionate in an increasingly complex digital world.
The core of the episode focuses on whether technology is making humanity smarter or merely more dependent on it. The hosts argue that while Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced gadgets offer incredible conveniences—such as generating images, editing videos without internet, and providing instant research—they are creating a high level of dependency that may be eroding critical thinking skills. They point out that people now rely on AI for simple tasks like finding Bible verses or writing messages, often accepting generated content without verification. This reliance can lead to a situation where individuals lack the confidence to think independently or verify information, effectively outsourcing their cognitive efforts to machines and becoming less self-reliant in the process.
Despite these concerns about dependency, the hosts conclude that technology is not inherently evil but requires adaptation and continuous learning from everyone. They suggest that instead of fearing job displacement by AI, individuals should focus on upskilling themselves to become excellent operators or creators who can leverage these tools effectively. The discussion highlights that while AI can automate many tasks, human oversight, creativity, and diligence remain essential because machines are not perfect and require human correction. Ultimately, the message is one of empowerment: embrace the new digital era by upgrading your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you remain relevant and capable rather than being left behind by rapid technological advancements.

A very good morning to you. How are you?
How is the morning going? It's exactly 7
in the a.m.
71 in the morning. How are you?
You know, with this cold season,
especially for the singles. Hello.
Just
be very very what do I say? Be
encouraged in the Lord.
Get married. Okay. Whichever works for
you, be encouraged or get married. I am
speaking to you as well as James John
who I am with here in the house today.
Yes, my name is Eliza. Let's get to hear
from James
how his morning is going
some of you out there. This is Y podcast
here at Y254 channel.
Good morning.
Come on.
I know.
There are many. But anyway, it's a fine
morning. I think um today being the 10th
of September
like crazy.
Yeah. Now the second week 20th or even
18. So the year is really going
some of the goals that I had set.
remember
what I was saying, but you never know.
It's Yeah, it's never too late.
>> Until the 31st of December, you still
have time to make your resolutions.
>> December can push it to 27. So, we still
have time.
>> We see you.
>> Anyways, yes, uh I love saying that it's
never too late. Like
>> you can make that step, you can make
that change that you want to see.
Um yeah like nothing is stopping you
keep going even if the vision
it is going to come to pass that is it
like just believe and keep believing and
keep believing and not just believing
faith without action is dead believe and
do something believe and work towards
whatever it is that you're believing for
and very soon or one time or one day
you're going to see the fruits of your
labor you're going to see the fruits of
that which you have been doing. Okay.
Yes. So that is it. We love you. We're
very excited to have you this morning
and yes, we're going to be having an
amazing discussion.
>> Yeah, of course. Of course.
Yeah, there's there's a lot to talk
about actually.
sports and yesterday I did not actually
sleep cuz I was watching a lot of our
Champions League but I'll get to that
cuz when my second come I'll get to talk
more about sports but anyway make sure
you stay tuned cuz we have a lot a lot
to talk about starting now topics really
making noise
topics on your social media then after
topics you come to the same
music then after music now you come now
to talk about sport so make sure you
stay tuned cuz we have lovely lovely
conversation but the The only
conversation that caught my mind today
was I was seeing a story
with 5 kg of bang. So the main issue we
have been
trying to
legalize but pass through. So the the
the reason
so much on social media is the lady
5 kg. So the penalty that she has been
given is either to spend 50 years in
jail to spend uh to to to get out with
50 million
like bailout 50 million 50 million which
is crazy money even the amount of money
cost is about 16,000. So um this lady
about 50 about 50 or 40 something
50 million which is really unfair to me
but equal to me is very unfair then talk
after 50 years that means 50 plus 40 or
50 plus 50 something that means 100
years. So she probably
come to life sentence to her. So it's
really unfair. I I was seen a lot of um
a lot of comments by the social media
people now complaining about it now
talking about now they should not be
that unjust. That's that's not how just
it is. So maybe the judge had something
against the lady that's why it went how
it went. But you never know. But anyway
apart from that there's a lot another
story I was seen on social media
after finally revealing the face of the
baby.
This is zero assumption but the
assumption is the baby won't look as
much look more
compared to what people anticipated but
apart from that the baby was amazing so
there's that
in a letter
how they can be
>> I I saw a post and people are saying
that the baby looks a lot like Danma you
know
that
AND YOU'RE LIKE WHAT guys come on like
just
our dad
are crazy.
That's
but in reality has been through it a lot
a lot on social media and like his
character cuz I give up on anything cuz
even when he came to to the limelight
2017
they never took seriously as a content
creator. They normally take him as a
joke
>> until today. Yeah, 10 10 years later is
still a joke to a lot of people but even
the longevity that he has in he has in
social media something very rare
for years
if you're not doing anything just get
out
there on the social media likes the
amount of likes even the new creators
are getting
it's not that emotional
example.
She started but a few after
she's done with DJing.
>> Hey, she's done even before she starts.
>> She said nah it's so enough people are
criticizing
people will talk. Do you know like let
me tell you I believe in one like I
believe in very many verses in the Bible
but you see the verse that says that
that tree that has fruits
the moment you see people talking and
everything that's where you're supposed
to be nobody is bothered everyone is
unbothered well you should think about
it but the fact that everyone is talking
about it
and all that you should be like yes this
is what I should be
That's what you're going to do because
they they now happy for you. And the
thing is not everyone would appreciate.
>> True. True.
100% mostly mostly if you're in Kenya,
you don't you don't you don't expect to
have like positive comments every time
especially in Kenya. We go to the
comment section to look for that comment
that you just
comment that you cannot but you're
thinking about it.
But never never what what I like to tell
myself never be discouraged in whatever
you do you never know
but if you believe that you're doing
something that is helpful to you keep
going
at the end of the day let's say
that
she's not doing that those type of bad
content djing is is healthy so if that's
how she wanted to do that career to
change her career too. She could have
done that.
bad comments.
That's why I like the spirit of
saw and he never comes online.
He's like, "Is that it?" All right.
Most of the creators what they do
that negative comment they like that
comment then make a video response about
it. But still has never done that.
>> He's never done that. He's never
actually responded to any criticism from
anyone. And that's the way to go. You
know, the moment someone is just talking
and you're not responding to them, they
look like fools at the end of the day.
Like, why do I look like I'm the one
that's stupid or something? So, you
don't have to respond to every critic or
every person that is trying to say
whatever.
>> Yeah.
>> And another story. This is my story.
Okay. Yes, we're very attentive. Liz is
sharing her story. Okay. Now tell me why
I leave work at uh 4:30 p.m. uh East
African time. Okay. And I get to the bus
terminal at at 5 and I'm expecting to be
at home by 5:30.
And so I bought my tattoo and I am going
and then
wast
and you're you're wondering okay what's
going on cuz this is very unusual
>> forever like for the longest I've used
that road and that has never happened to
us. So guys
I've told you and
all those hours
So
just giving excuses
the first
I think you mentioned something
guys do do you You will do you know like
especially when you have plans
the whole day and I was like even if I
attend the last hour
like it's as if everything was against
me I am seated in
The seat is a bolt. I think one bolt is
missing or something.
My back is in pain. I am tired. I
love walking with books just in case I'm
bored. I can't even understand what I'm
reading. Like it was a terrible,
terrible hours of staying there.
>> Just your first experience.
something.
I remember
every
don't move at all.
to go to
patient
tired.
10 minutes.
Boom. You're done for the day.
1 hour 30 minutes 40 minutes. So that's
how crazy the traffic is. But
>> traffic is I I had one experience cuz I
had seen the videos during the day and
people asking
this is not you guys
for the longest.
What is waiting for you?
I was like telling you guys, hey, you
you guys, you don't know what you're
saying. This is not my
>> until I saw that and I was Jesus. But
yeah, we
ABC Red Hill
terminal. I think I don't know if it's
being repaired or something. I don't
know. I'm just
I think I don't know. Maybe because
Yeah, it was early probably. That's why
but yeah we are hoping that that
experience does not repeat itself ever
again it's an accident but I'm like
affect the whole day but here we are we
are thankful to God that at long last we
here with you okay
>> yes another story that is very very very
sad
>> and crazy and um this is a little bit
related to the discussion we're going to
be having today.
>> Um,
>> DCI arrest three men accused of luring
women through Tik Tok before molesting
and robbing them.
>> Yeah. So,
maybe he's a he's a known person. I
don't know because there's someone that
his face is is hid. But yes, we can see
some of the
>> pictures pictures pictures that are
here. Let me read uh the description
that is here. Yeah, detectives have
arrested three suspects in Roy over an
alleged Tik Tok uh gang rape and robbery
scheme targeting young women. According
to the DCI, Emanuel, let me not read
their names. Oper operated an anonymous
Tik Tok account which they used to
contact women and arrange meetings
before leading them to secluded or
abandoned areas where they allegedly
sexually assaulted and robbed them. Some
victims were allegedly forced to
transfer money through Empessa while
others lost mobile phones and other
valuables. Um detectives recovered um
six mobile phones and hooded jackets.
Yes. And they um they say that the three
suspects have been positively
identified by five victims in separate
cases reported in Burubu, Embacasi and
Roy. investigations are continuing to
trace other possible victims and people
who may be linked to the alleged
network. You know, this is sad and crazy
because I know we are already over
>> um the fact that you're just finding or
meeting someone online and you're there,
you want to meet them. You
>> you know, it's crazy cuz I think about a
month ago
is a real issue
like
on social media is very easy for them to
get even tricked.
you sell a certain video and some
certain pictures so that you can get a
certain money. That's the thing that has
been going on which is very unhealthy.
Then this story on Tik Tok how they get
lied to
>> and it is a secluded place.
>> Yeah. Then what I what I normally tell
people is whenever you don't know the
person's
never assumption
of course there'll be consequences but
those three guys something has been
going on in Kenya s apart from apart
from now going to that extent even
molesting them, even um getting into a
place where they they even um they do
those nasty stuff to them where but I
think think doing a good job cuz it has
been exposing I think the last time it
was then remember
like this something that has been going
on
but at least now we know
so people now be more careful whenever
someone approaches you on your social
media
Never trust anything. Just be very
careful.
>> Yeah.
Offer you money for free.
>> For free then
try what works for them.
>> But I don't know. I don't know what
benefit
the benefit of you.
>> People are just evil minded.
>> Yeah. I think so. I think so. To be
honest. No, these are not, you know,
it's not like how people used to say
that you're kidnapping someone and then
you're asking for a ransom amount of
money
and then all you do is tell them
whatever it is that is in your
5K.
It's a modern way of stealing
advantage.
Do you know like what happens to these
guys?
>> Yeah.
They don't know what's going on.
That's just
to make sure that you're not conscious
of what's going on. Then you get your
money stolen
under the influence in a way.
But it's funny. I don't know what's
going on and I know my pin.
>> That's how drugs normally operate. So
it's so crazy.
These people are very smart.
take the cash.
That's how they steal your money. That's
how they take your stuff. Incident,
something sad about now the world we
living in.
Yeah, I can see you being on the street.
You've seen those videos of
maybe you're recording with your phone
like that's what happens to you more
than actually helping this person.
>> I'm sure I'm sure I'm very sure like um
the neighbors maybe
the neighbors know exactly what's really
going on.
But nobody can talk about it.
>> Nobody wants to talk about everyone is
thinking whatever I say and then um they
come for me next. That's what
tell me why when you see someone being
robbed for example in town and those
>> what comes to your mind is
exactly so like so selfish they're just
thinking about themselves what works for
me if it doesn't work for me if all in
the list I'm going to be in danger watch
guy and you know that's a very terrible
way to live
They're just stealing in broad daylight
as if nothing is actually going on. I've
seen
but
like something like that can happen.
Don't please don't watch your brother
cuz we all brothers and sisters okay
brother is your brother in Christ we all
family don't allow don't allows
especially if you know you can actually
intervene
our life but if you know you can cuz let
me tell you if five of us attack these
people we're going to overpower them.
Yeah. But now they're doing whatever
they're doing right now cuz they know ah
where are you going to Yeah. There's
nothing you're going to do about it.
>> Yeah. But the message is just be careful
also the ladies and also woman story
>> and don't walk alone
>> never never trust anyone mostly on
social media today but your social media
is full of every every character that
you can think of the good characters the
bad the bad of the bad
social media so anyone that approaches
you with promises that
all the type of house parties never go
to a stranger's
Never trust a stranger
don't know them. You've never met
the old type of dating is the best one.
I can go out. I take you out on dates
and all that. Then
you never know who who you are going to
meet in that
weird person. 10 of them they
can do whatever they're doing to people
and it's not one person not two people
it's cuz it's something they're used to
doing and you see they're just luring a
lady after another after another
like we won't keep crying forever and
the thing is most of the time
your parents your mom your dad
They're in pain because of what has
happened. But
yeah, but your parents are the ones that
are going to struggle and suffer and cry
in pain. So yes, do not let them go
through all that for something you would
have avoided.
I am not saying that
it's okay. You make friends. You never
know if that's where your person is. But
any in the public places if you're
supposed to go out and meet, can't you
meet in a restaurant where everyone else
is? You know, can't you meet in open the
person?
>> Yeah. The first the first thing that
you're thinking about or the first place
that this person is telling you to go,
it's their house. Think about that
>> and be very very very careful as we wind
up on that segment. Guys,
Do you know I I this morning and I
noticed that there's a guy
around there but that guy used to sell
coffee every morning. Every morning
every morning. So
I'm realizing like the whole space is
just empty. He's not there. And I was a
little bit scared
at least
a trend of a guy a man that is telling
the wife or the girlfriend whoever she
is
like
this guys like babe
my
but you know the part that we were
trying to avoid mostly xenophobia
what happened in South Africa
foreigners get out of the country
>> do you know that your sister and your
brother is a foreigner in another
country
>> yeah true
>> it's it's a round circle So if we start
doing this this thing in Africa,
>> our own Kenyans are going to start being
thrown away from all those
countries.
way. I love my Y254 family. I know it's
not you, but that person that is not
even watching and that is not going to
watch this show today. Yay.
>> They're saying that they're taking the
jobs, but in reality, nothing like that.
Like we are normally used to them on the
streets, the snacks, the
normal things. But but we saw some clips
bad way
we pass that thing. Yeah.
support community. So
I think the issue was
the issue was
illegally. Yeah.
the embassy
just let the embassy know
that's like after I think Monday was it
Monday
which was too late So
even
about 10 years 11 years
actually one I was saying you can be a
citizen by birth by marriage um by how
how long you've stayed. If you've stayed
in Kenya for more than 10 years you are
a Kenyan. So um but now
like there's a like there's a process
you just need to go through but yeah you
can be satisfi certified as a Kenyan
citizen. Yes, unless
what the president made
it better,
you know, they shame like you remember I
remember burning dollar for this
statement. You cannot shame the
shameless. Like
another thing
that means there's better opportunity.
And you see
the same way this guy
like why do you like why can't you put
yourself in you know when you put
yourself in someone's shoes that's when
you realize wow so this is their
perspective
but now
>> things aren't easy like we used to
>> yeah so let's let's love one another we
need everyone to be around.
So make sure okay let's
if you can be anything human
>> and love the person that is next to you
that is all we would ask of you that is
that is all that is required of you. Yes
this is why podcast here why in the
morning on Y254
channel and we are on all social media
platforms at Y254 channel. Yes. So, do
you have a question? Do you have a
comment? Do you want to tell us how your
morning is going?
Yeah, they are your brothers. Are there
ladies? I don't know. But yeah, most of
them it's the guys from the other
countries.
Check up on them because we are one
family and we love one another.
At least feel I was not alone. You know,
it's it's good to feel that you have a
community around you. Even if you're
suffering, you're suffering together.
You're like the spoiled child
again. But the the good thing is
Chinese deal. So and I know they're
losing a lot of money also. So they
can't keep they can't troll for a long
time
about even a week if it's going to take
a whole week of jam. Are you even no
sincerely?
>> Yeah. But we hope that it it takes the
shortest time possible to be dealt with
because that experience I was even
looking at that you know at times
I get my own car but I was looking at
what
you're like okay I think you need a
scooter or a bike remember telling you
that having a bike is the best is best
in town you're easy to
cut through the lines.
Anyways, yeah, that was the experience.
So, what's going on or what was going
on? If you can go home earlier, the
better for you.
Yes. And if you can just be ready, just
be prepared.
But if they tell us that the road is now
well and back to functioning, we are
going to be here to tell you because
that is great news. It needs to be
celebrated.
Come on. Like the reality is the reality
is you know we're not used to that you
know
>> I told you like the first last born of
Kenya
>> meaning for the longest I've lived there
forever I have never experienced even
>> ever
>> even even 30 minutes traffic
>> no like the longest I think
it's to 10 minutes
>> 10 minutes
>> just 10 5 to 10 minutesant
Do you know distance
think
2 minutes
sometimes even
that's crazy
most of the
That's what happens.
Hey, we have to complain until something
is done.
Eventually something will be done. I
know they working
about that and very soon that issue is
going to be sorted out cuz yeah, what an
experience. But it's good to experience
these things. Anyways,
they're used to that, you know. But I
love you all guys from every every part
of this world. We know I do for real.
Okay. From a distance.
But yes, today we're going to be
speaking about technology.
M
someone here in this house told us that
CC Jenz
well it's good to be informed but um
it's very rare to find Jenzi going to
the newspaper but yes according to him
he's saying that he saw a news item that
was saying that um within 10 years from
now I might
>> or is going to replace humans
a job and AI will take over and we've
seen I was seeing so many videos um I
have so many AI tech guys my friends in
my contacts so most of the times
and you're like wow okay there's a guy
who was telling me that he has um
a program it's like wi-i it's like a
research Google or GPT but you use it
without Wi-Fi or bundles.
>> Mhm.
>> It's like this is interesting cuz now at
times you go to places that have
internet and everything but now it will
help you still get to access um
information or research which is good.
Uh there's a machine I saw that in you
see
>> I think with a high very high speed and
it's not affecting the the crops.
>> Yeah. So I have seen so many
technological gadgets that are coming up
and
but that's the reality I was telling
that the reality let me give you some
illustrations
Then
the weed apart from the crops
the bad plants.
Everybody has a capability
then go to any
the
can you prompt me can you generate a
picture I'm a video for for anything
that you're thinking about let's say
something a poster
designate
this
exact thing.
You have seen it happen a lot a lot. So
that means graphic design
will need a graphic design anymore.
Which company
at some point I feel like this these AI
or machines need operators.
>> True.
>> So upgrade yourself and the operator.
>> My my argument was we cannot all
upgrade. Yeah. upgrade but you cannot
all work for the same company
let's say one company with say
company graphic designer video editor
let's say the presenter then
me for this
presenter
at the end of the day.
So that's that means there'd be a lot of
other people that be affected with AI in
the next 10 years. come. I was talking
to someone in Colombia back in 2020 like
when you try to generate maybe a picture
like that's the first question that
you're asking.
>> You can't look at it and be like
the reality and the real and the AI
>> now 10 years
>> they've just they've been they are now
that excellent
>> but do you know that all these are
created by people
>> yeah true
>> so why can't you learn to create them I
am trying to look at that are out there
now for people
>> yeah nowadays you can create your own
boat but that that means that it'll be
helping you but
old school
trying to make a superelligence
that means
one can do it and it also can
We underestimating it. But we can reach
a point where
you play
even users. Gemini can do the same
thing. Googleenally
know you have talked to to the AI maybe
some with some issue and you sharing
your own personal things adriv
therapist that means therapist boom then
you get to a point
has access to all the books
just
that's how things will end up
in the next 10 years maybe will kill a
lot of careers never know
>> but now as much as that is going to
happen I'm still very positive you can
still remain standing fight to be the
one that um is standing true yeah don't
start giving up
robots. No, like do what you do the
best. Upgrade yourself. Come, you need
to learn all these skills on how to do
all these things. Go ahead, enroll on
these classes that is in Ender online
and everything. Study, learn, know how
to do it because at the end of the day,
no matter what happens, when you're
super super super excellent,
>> nobody's going to throw you out.
Opportunities in as much Even
if they need just one operator, be so
excellent that you're going to be the
one they think of that you're going to
be the one
because of how excellent you are. Yes.
Be diligent at what you do. That is also
very very very important
>> cuz as much as we talking talking about
they come to steal,
they're also crazy ones.
specialist you can go and train
their own model but developing the model
this one can work
that
generate like picture
people who are all that information so
there are people who are doing those
jobs
So for the smart boys they know they do
it. Another thing is even compared to
the transition we had digital from
analog to digital same
the next generation now things are
changing
we move from analog to kind of digital
But if you could have upskilled maybe
even to reach the same another different
level that means that's how we fit into
this new era.
>> Yeah I agree we you so our discussion
question today is is technology making
us smarter or just more independent? Yes
dependent I mean like
smart
dependent on it. Do you know right now
um something as simple as reading the
Bible I don't need a physical Bible to
to starting
just tell I am looking for this verse.
So is it that we are smart or cuz now
you know even when pastor is asking for
example for those that go to churches
where we preach with our pastors only we
are responding see you know okay anyways
let me not look like I am church but
yeah you find he's asking there's this
verse that says
just typed. I'm at a class.
So, um I don't know if it this this
happened in 19 or 19 you're like when
did
>> 1998? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
It's just that you have access to the
internet and you can do your research.
So, is it that we are smart?
>> The dependency is so high.
I've seen in
people even the speech public speech
people writing in the air then I saw
you do want it to be
make it more human
But don't as much as you know like I was
saying
we take our jobs editor you still need
to to reedit like you still need to go
through that copy and make sure that it
is okay
mistakes
meaning the editor did not look at this
work again and again and again Because I
thought before
can make mistakes that statement is
there.
>> It's just because like AI
it's not perfect. It it needs you to go
and counter check and recheck again. So
yes, do not stay sit there believing oh
AI is going to take your job away.
>> Yeah, that's that's what I'm telling you
about need depend mostly on AI. I'm at
cemetery anything
um even the smallest message that you
can write to a person maybe even a love
message maybe even a birthday wish any
type of message
what will I say
at times people even use jargon Mhm.
Okay. Don't try to laugh at me. Okay.
But there's someone who told me
I plead the fifth. I was like, "Okay,
what's that?" So, I went to
what's the meaning of
I didn't know. But you see, I didn't
look like a fool to this guy asking what
pleading the but no there's no there's
no nothing bad with asking where's the
don't even know what it means to flip
the thing
is really
>> yeah it's really really making
compared to that's that's I feel like
sometimes millennials
just
>> even our producer actually was telling
me that time they didn't used to have
started using it I think 2022 we started
Think
30 minutes
and we still graduated.
>> So crazy. That's a that's a that's a
statement
depend on it
mostly depend on it
aspect
then you can become a little bit smarter
but at the end of the day you're still
depend
you're not even you don't you're not
using your brain to really thinkm
or anything
knowledge from then they bringing it to
the argument you have not done research
on whatever they have told you
even 2000 most of them have not been
updated 2023 most of them22
are yeah so that's that's why It has
made us more dependent. I'm so afraid
about what will happen in the next two
years. I'm get to a point
a small email difficult
even you're not even confident about
yourself
but feel there's something missing. So
yeah that's the best part of it. Just
come to think about it.
just
I think that's how we should integrate
it in our lives.
>> Yeah. And now someone asks
how to how to make this how to cook this
tutorials.
Why do we still need the traditional
forms of education?
>> That's another thing. That's why we
talking about teachers losing their jobs
because now even
bring a teacher
from then you can get a certificate from
that sign in I don't know how it worked
but I believe that's how it worked but
now you can you can do all that with
online
So that's what's really happening.
How to to make my phone run faster, how
to increase anything about um about
let's say computer computer related you
can go to
slowly but slowly
how to make a simple code.
But now I can do it. Can make you can
make even the website
can do all that for you then.
So that's that's the point that we are
in right now.
I think the next five years even 5 years
I think is a little bit closer. The next
thing is you don't need that for type of
formal education because
whatever the you can tell me it's on the
books. You get to a point where you
don't need the physical type of books
like it more digitized.
>> Yeah. Digitized everything that you
need. You just click a button and it's
all on your screen.
>> Yeah. Uh so I think we should keep
upgrading cuz now the earlier we run
into this and hold on to it and accept
that uh this is our new norm the better
for us
and feel like it's too much. Oh we can't
do this and that. Oh
we just delaying but delaying does not
mean that it's not not going to happen.
Facebook came about they were like
Facebook
and people had all kinds of
everyone is on Facebook and many more
apps came about you know so
join Facebook immediately at that time
and say do so well right now it's even
paying so um
>> you the earlier you get uh yourself to
AI learn as much as you can the better
it is for you. Yeah. So that is where we
are. We are in this digital era and it's
not going anywhere.
>> So
upgrade yourself, do the due diligence
and what you're supposed to do.
>> True. That's all about
>> there's a question about smartphones and
um it is asking is it true that a
smartphone is a necessity? Am it is just
an addiction we have normalized? Do you
know you cannot even add
all that stuff. But there's a lot of
different type of addiction and think
phone one of the addiction. So just
speak
>> is one addiction that has caught almost
everyone say 5 in the a.m. Tell me why
someone is in the mat and he was a
lighting and he's on Tik Tok and I was
like jeez it's very early bro
Tik Tok
>> that's that's how that's crazy just
picture a day a whole day without your
phone
I think the things that we addicted to
social media you just
then you don't
You don't have Wi-Fi down
maybe 5%. The stressed how stressed you
could be on that day
of social media. I think that's the
social med
for 2 seconds and you feel like you're
sick or you can't find your phone and
someone looks like they're not even okay
at all. It's a great and a big addiction
that people are actually addicted to.
And it's crazy that
>> like it's okay. Do you know do you know
there's other things that are easy to
replace like
okay I'll get another
but the moment
the moment
the following day
can
>> how can I get a new phone no I I realize
like phones have become to a place where
they Crazy my grandma 90 I think 93 92
right now she still uses the phone
that's how crazy it is
even even work people in work
anytime
Then we look at your phone later.
That's how crazy it is right now. Yeah.
True. But uh the thing is let's It's
okay. Okay. It's not okay.
>> It's not okay. No type of addiction is
okay.
>> Yeah. to keep yourself
trying to see how we can deal with this
cuz now most people don't even deliver
online the whole time
you see like it's taking up all your
time cuz you always tell yourself the
last video
and you realize
this type of new for
with YouTube at least
variety of content.
This one this is funny
different different times by the end of
the day even more hours on your phone.
So that's
>> but now let's do not let your phone be
the one that is making you not deliver
and not be diligent
>> in what you do. Okay. Yeah. Make sure
that you you are excellent. That is the
best best best
uh attribute you can have as you are out
there working. Yes. We've been talking
about AI and technology and the reality
is that AI mahal. So upgrade yourself.
Make sure that you are in tune and up to
date.
What do I do? We were here to tell you
to make sure that if you can learn,
learn. If you can have a skill, get it
because you're going to be needing it in
the future. But for now, we're going to
be taking a very very very short break
after.
>> Ah, there's a lot a lot
controller himself. So we'll be speaking
about maybe his career in music and some
of the project that he has done. Maybe
some other projects coming up and if you
get lucky you can get that little
freestyle. So make sure to stay tuned
for that. Then later on I'll be bringing
sports. So make sure you don't miss all
those segments. So my good name is
James. Can find me on social media.
>> Yesi
Eliza the TV host of the year. Yes. We
are taking a very short break, but us
like James saying, we still have a lot
lined up for you.
