Is Project Zomboid still good?

[groaning] [screaming] My body. Today, we're finally doing a full revisit of Project Zamboid. Project Zamboy is a uh openw world hero shooter with uh very few microtransactions. I'm quite proud of them. Free-to-play openw world hero shooter with some Pokemon elements. I'm excited. This game hit Kickstarter back in 2002. I'm just seeing if y'all paying attention. But yeah, I'm going to be uh continuing to try to get good. The game is fun and frustrating at the same time cuz it's all it's it's this whole premise the entire premise of Zomboid is that you're going to die. The devs make that clear. you're going to die. It's just a It's just a matter of how long you're going to prolong the situation. In my experience with Zomboid, I died a lot. And it got old and chat kept laughing and I felt bad. I felt sad and I ran away crying. But we're back again to attempt to come up with a difficulty where I can actually not get bored. Not get bored because it's too easy and not get frustrated because it's too hard. So, I'm playing with some of the sandbox settings and tweaking things and whatnot cuz it's easy to get discouraged these types of games, even if you know you're going to die. Uh, so if I do right control, I can bring up the sandbox options. You're going to see me bring this up a lot and I can just tweak settings right from here and then apply them to the world. So, one thing I did want to change was loot and the food multiplier and that is here. I had it at like 1.5 or something and I turned it down because there was food everywhere. It's probably the thing I play with the most is um the spawn settings and then the other thing is going to be the zombie settings. I need to clean up. So, we're just going to wash ourselves here. There's a zombie outside. You hear him beating on the door? All right, I washed myself. Let's uh wash all my clothes. Wait, if you have soap, does it automatically use the soap? I think it does. Cuz I did pick up Wait, did I pick up soap? I don't know if I did. I've restarted like a hundred times. One thing I do like about playing single player is that um a cheap trick you can do is pick up the negative trait of slow reader and then when you read on single player you can just speed up the game. This guy making all this noise. I do have a core out here. That's where I left it. It's still foggy. Oh, one thing I should do. I saw somebody else do this. I was like, that's a good idea. I should mark the houses after I loot them. Or where am I at here? I think I do have a and marker. do that. There we go. I do have some nasty bandages. So, we're going to take these off. JB's bugs and lights. You'll see lights around light source or you see bugs around light sources. Mini health panel shows the mini health panel down here at the bottom left. Uh plain noodles redone. These noodles here which show your stats and your elements. They've got an art rehaul and they have like a little bar to tell you how bad it is. Seasonal [snorts] moods will change the the lighting based on the season. And I got some character customization mods and useful pause screen. That's what you're looking at.
