Three days that delivered real world,
real data, real decisions. Around 500
exhibitors from all over the world, more
than 100 speakers and one clear signal.
This industry is not just making maps
anymore. It is delivering the
information layer that the physical and
the digital world share. And with it,
the foundation for decisions in
infrastructure, cities, climate, and
crisis management. And the most
convincing answer to where this is going
came from the youngest people in the
building. The future of this industry is
smart, datadriven, and young. On the
main stage, the best emerging talents
pitch their research from satellite
orbits and Antarctic coastlines to AI
reading historical survey drawings.
Interjeo gives them the stage the
industry needs them on. I looked at the
land surface temperature of food and
nunbeck um also regarding the increasing
temperatures um which are there. It's a
relevant topic in the moment for the
whole human and the presentation was
very professional. But what we also want
to say is that every presentation was
very professional and we are really
proud of this young students.
Let's move on to the world of unmanned
aerial systems and how they are
transforming modern industries. The
focus lies on how UAS applications are
driving sustainability in agriculture
and forestry alongside the EU's push for
airborne rapid forces in crisis
management. Here are two quick insights
straight from the conference. I gave an
insight into um using UAV for
topographic measurements in urban
applications. So how how can we conduct
flights in urban areas? um how can we
process the data and for what can we use
it like solar potential analysis like
monitoring tasks or or traditional
mapping of course but um at a at a much
faster pace let's say than with the very
precise terrestrial modes or the coarser
resolution of of aerial or satellite
mapping
>> we used to have these 3D point clouds 3D
meshes which are kind of typical and and
which are existing and these gshian
splats they are especially uh suitable
for for visualization of complex object
geometries on so on the on the border of
the image resolution and also um able to
represent reflecting objects mirroring
effects and and and this this is super
uh interesting from my point of view.
>> What are the key trends and highlights
driving the geo community at this year's
conference? Professor Dr. Rudolfpher
from the DVW has the answers. There was
a amazing keynote of Jack Damon, founder
of of EZRI, such a charming person at
the age of 81 and talking to everybody
in a positive and constructive way. This
is really overwhelming.

the collaboration, the engagement that's
happening here. You know, the
conversations that happen with someone,
you know, just, you know, just looking
at their booth and talking to them
about, you know, what do they what do
they have to offer and how can they help
me make better decisions in the future.
>> As a company, we are not just making the
device itself more accessible or the
software for it. like we feel like we
need to make the the whole concept more
approachable of using this technology
and um we can't do it through
traditional channels just doing trade
shows or just doing you know print media
we need to be where our users are we
want to be on social media we want to
work with bloggers
>> the dynamic of the community itself you
know so everyone who was here you you
feel they are passionated they're
addicted to want to know to what what's
going on and uh want wanted to see uh
what how they can benefit from this and
how it contributes to their business.
