Video summary
On a vibrant Friday morning in Music City, the Tennessee Titans faced off against the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks during a crucial preseason matchup at Nissan Stadium, marking one of ten final opportunities to see football before the venue's farewell season. The atmosphere was electric as the young Titans roster, composed largely of players aged twenty-one to twenty-three, aimed to prove their fighting spirit and commitment to winning every game they played. Despite an early struggle where the Seahawks held a sixteen-to-three lead heading into halftime, the Titans' defense and special teams units stepped up significantly, turning the tide of the contest through aggressive plays and critical stops that showcased the team's potential for the upcoming regular season.
The game featured standout performances from key players who utilized their versatility to impact both sides of the ball. Running back Darius Chestnut made an impressive showing with seven touches for forty-seven yards, demonstrating his ability to break tackles and gain crucial yardage even while contributing on special teams. The turning point arrived when rookie Anthony Hill Jr. intercepted a pass from Seahawks quarterback Jaylen Milroe, followed by a powerful offensive drive led by quarterback Will Levis. Levis orchestrated a successful play-action sequence that resulted in a touchdown, narrowing the gap to nineteen-sixteen, before the defense forced another turnover on downs involving Jeffrey Simmons rushing the field, effectively sealing the victory for Tennessee.
Ultimately, the Titans secured a hard-fought comeback win, ending the game with a statement performance that highlighted their resilience and defensive intensity. Coach and players alike celebrated the effort, noting how the team started somewhat shakily but rallied to bring a "W" to the fans who traveled from across the country to support them in Nashville. This victory extended the Titans' streak of six straight preseason wins at Nissan Stadium, proving that despite the early deficit, their young squad possessed the depth and determination needed to dominate the day. The win served as a positive indicator for the future, showing that even with limited regular-season experience, these players could compete against elite opponents and deliver results that honored the spirit of the game.

On a beautiful Friday morning in Music
City, it is a big day and a big weekend
for your Tennessee Titans. Titans
hosting the Super Bowl champion Seahawks
who are in town.
>> We got a big action day today.
Stay in tune to what the goals are. All
the week we've been talking about
Seahawks coming in Super Bowl champ.
They hungry. We start. We were 314 last
year. Let's go. Dominate the day.
Dominate the day. Hey, violence 03. 1 2
3. Let's have a day, man.
A mother up.
Come on. Come on.
Do this. You better run away.
Anytime you [music] get to compete
against someone else other than your
teammate, um, that's great.
>> Come on.
>> You know, the secondary made some plays.
>> I felt like the Titans were able to run
the ball a little bit.
>> Two-minute offense for the Titans. The
ones go down and score a touchdown.
The
>> twos go down to score a touchdown.
[screaming]
>> Hey guys, I don't I watch your offensive
tape. Sounds like it was pretty good.
>> Uh defensive side, way to get after it,
man. Cody, break us down.
>> Tanks on three. 1 2 3
Welcome to week two of the preeason and
welcome to the first of 10 final
opportunities to see Titans football in
Nissan Stadium's farewell season.
>> You smell that? Smell like game day.
Woo.
But how do you kind of use special teams
to your advantage when you when you see
that extra playing time and see the
field a little more than a guy that
doesn't get the special teams ready?
>> I actually love using those to my
advantage because of the different
aspects of the game. Coming from
college, I went from [music] having all
the carries to not getting any carries
at all in training camp. So, it's like
it's different growing and they said
this is this is your time. You going to
be able to play on special teams.
[music] You getting in. So, take
advantage of the opportunity just hand
it to you. And that's all and that's all
I try to do is just I know I can run the
ball. I know what I'm capable of. And I
know that the coaches trust me. [music]
So when I get in the game, I just go out
there and play free doing whatever I
need to do at 100 miles hour. You're
playing offense and defense in the same
snap. So you're being able to see
different things and be able to use
different techniques. You're able to use
special [music] teams as another aspect
in your running running back game. When
we hear coach say we go out there and we
go play fast and violent. go play
physical. It just it's just that juice
when that switch flips on. It just makes
us want to go.
Welcome to Titans and Seahawks on a
Sunday night in Music City.
>> Another fellas, another Hey, another
chance. Go get Hey, first time on the
field. We starting this right now. We
want to win a coach. We win this first
game. Here we go. window three. 1 2 3
>> back deep for Seattle and we are
underway in week two of the preseason.
>> WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? [screaming]
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
>> Come on. COME ON.
>> Seattle leads the Titans 16 to three.
Fourth down. Tommy Townson's going to
come on to punt.
He gets this one off. Another really
good one. And a fair catch. OH, IT'S
MUFF. IT'S MUFF. That's us. THAT'S US.
HOLD THE
HOLD THE YOU OUT OF THERE. YOU OUT OF
THERE. YOU OUT OF THERE. IT'S US. THAT'S
US. THAT'S US. That's us. That's us.
[screaming]
>> Joey Sly is seven [music] for seven in
the preseason kicking field goals. Cox
sends back a perfect snap. Townsen good
hold and slide right through there.
>> Seattle will take a one touchdown lead
into the locker room at halftime here at
Nissan Stadium.
>> As Robert Sales says, we played to win
out here in the preseason. A young
football team with all these 21, 22, 23
year old kids that are on this roster.
You want them fighting as hard as they
can to try to win these games.
>> Chestnut's been impressive again
tonight. Seven touches, 47 yds for
Chestnut off the ben.
>> Nice job, Chestnut making that guy miss.
Man, I'm glad to see his abilities be
shown.
>> Titans have won six straight preeason
games at Nissan Stadium, by the way.
That's on the line tonight. Jaylen
Milroe in at quarterback for the
Seahawks. Milroe in shotgun. In the back
field, Milro looks his way. NOW THROWS
DOWNFIELD. THAT'S INTERCEPTED. PICKED
OFF. [cheering]
Anthony Hill Jr. on the interception for
the Titans. Don't forget about this
guy's name as a rookie in the National
Football League out of the University of
Texas.
>> I said, "Bring me that."
>> NO. PRESSED IT OUT,
>> BABY.
>> I NEED THAT. I GOT TO KEEP THAT ONE. YO,
>> Sly
from 43 yds out. Hit four field goals
last week. He's three for three tonight.
Makes it four for four.
>> 16-2
now is the score. Seattle leading your
Titans.
>> Great change. All right, let's just get
back to it. Next time up, put your hand
down and go. Reset. Put your hand down
and go. Great series. Good pressure on
the quarterback. Great rush. Great run
defense. We're good. Keep it going.
Takes the shotgun snap. Here comes
pressure FOR THE TITANS. AND THEY GOT
IT. [cheering]
>> Jeffrey Simmons and the first team is
all out there to greet these guys off
the field. That's six straight empty
possessions for Seattle.
>> Hell yeah. Fourth and three for Will
Levis and the Titans offense from the
Seattle Seventh. Levvice rolls out to
the right, has it himself, KEEPS IT
HIMSELF, DIVES. HE HAS THE FIRST DOWN
INSIDE THE FIVE DOWN near the two.
Johnson to the end zone. Touchdown.
[cheering]
Titans 19, Seattle 16. 545 to go in the
game. Bill Row in shotgun. One receiver
to the left, three to the right. He's
got time. HE'S FLUSHED OUT. HE'S DOWN.
THEY [screaming]
GOT HIM. TURNOVER ON DOWNS. Jeffrey
Simmons has rushed the field. You had
two players, Dabati and Truman Jones
converge.
[cheering]
>> [cheering]
>> Seahawks will take over on bounce.
>> No rose pass kicked off by Derek
Canteen.
[cheering]
>> So that will put an exclamation point on
this one. Great day, man. You know, got
another W. That's what we like to do at
Nissan Stadium, man. Just win. Bring a
good W to the crowd. Bring the fans what
they what they came here for. So, we
came got the W. Started off a little
shaky, but that's how you end the game,
man. That's how you end the game. W.
>> I love it. All right, my man.
