Well, for a lot of people, getting to a destination can be just as important as the destination itself. Executive Express, a locallyowned transportation business in the Briner Lakes area, has been helping travelers get to and from airports and providing transportation for everything from business trips to special events. Our reporter Xavier Curry took time to learn about the company for this week's In Business. For some travelers, the trip begins long before they reach the airport terminal. Executive Express wants to make the journey simple by getting customers where they need to go safely, comfortably, and on time. >> Being based here right at the Brainer Lakes airport, they really want highquality transportation to serve the customers that use this airport. We are different than a shuttle company. And we're not Uber. We're not Lyft. We are a black car service company with advanced reservations. We go anywhere in the country, point A to point B, with all private luxury transportation. The company offers airport shuttle service along with private black car transportation that includes door-to-door rides in luxury sedans and SUVs. While the vehicles are a big part of the business, employees say the job is ultimately about the people that are inside them. >> Larry, he really cares about quality and people, quality in cars, and quality in meeting the needs of everyone. We try to meet them as much as we can. So, it's my goal to get the best service that I can do. And by that is sometimes just asking extra questions, going the extra mile. And I found people really appreciate. >> One of the things that Executive Express believes sets them apart from other transportation companies is their availability and the customers ability to customize their ride experience. >> One of my things that I do because I was in business is I tend to be 10 to 15 minutes early cuz that makes my drive more comfortable. It makes the airport where they're early. Everybody's happy. We go door to door. So we we pick up where you want to pick up and where you want to drop off at your time. And trust me, some of these are 4 in the morning and late at night. So, we are at your convenience. >> Whether you're heading across town or catching a flight across the country, Executive Express says its goal is to make sure driving is not a part of the equation so that customers can focus on getting to their destination. >> I really love this community. I've been a part of the Brainer Lakes community. I'm a member of the Brainer Lakes Area Chamber. And one of the things that we're doing as a new business is just trying to educate the community in that they need to make reservations.
