Video summary
The Identus community call from September 8, 2026, began with a brief technical check to ensure all participants could hear one another clearly before diving into the main agenda. The meeting focused primarily on updates regarding the mentorship program and recent developments in their software development kits rather than welcoming new members or discussing major strategic shifts. Attendees acknowledged that the community had reached a significant halfway milestone, effectively crossing the 50% mark of their current phase, which set the stage for finalizing key components before moving forward to the next stage of their roadmap.
A central topic of discussion was the progress on the mentorship program, specifically the development of the DID management component. This critical feature is designed to enable the issuance of credentials and the emission of specific messages by managing Prism DIDs directly on cloud agents and within the SDK TypeScript environment through a unified portal. The team highlighted that they had recently completed pair programming sessions to implement missing functionalities in the SDK TypeScript, successfully releasing these features after addressing initial errors. Additionally, significant work was done on Neo Prism, where a persistent bug related to race conditions in transaction consumption and indexing was finally resolved after extensive testing, marking a major improvement in system stability.
Looking ahead, the team outlined plans to make their Rust-based SDK component public within a few weeks, following its current basic phase of development. One participant noted ongoing work to create an agent skill for Identus, which involves creating specific issues and refining the implementation process with colleagues. The group expressed enthusiasm about these upcoming releases and agreed that the next steps would involve a showcase of the progress made on their website and platform features. They aimed to complete this current phase properly within the coming week or two, promising a demonstration of their advancements in the subsequent meeting.
The call concluded with mutual appreciation for the team's hard work and a shared excitement for the upcoming demonstrations of their new capabilities. The participants agreed that closing out this phase successfully was essential before transitioning to the next steps of their project evolution. With the technical hurdles addressed and the roadmap clearly defined, the team felt confident in their ability to deliver on their promises to the community. The meeting ended on a positive note, with everyone looking forward to seeing the tangible results of their collaborative efforts in the near future.

Hello, how are you?
Hello.
How are you?
>> Doing good.
>> What's this?
Can you hear my voice? Is Is Is
everything okay, yeah?
>> Very clear. Yes.
>> Thank you.
>> Let's wait a couple more minutes for
other members and we'll get started
right after.
>> Okay. Mhm.
>> Mhm.
>> Uh
Khalid, can you hear me?
>> Yes, I do.
>> Yeah, I want to tell that also I'm free
after this the
commute call. My education center is now
close to the electricity, so I just came
to home. I'm free.
If you if you if you got if you want if
you
>> Yeah, let's let's do a break after the
call and then let's maybe pair and
finish
the deep management.
All good for me.
>> Awesome.
Okay.
>> Hi guys.
>> Hello.
>> Happy Tuesday.
Yes?
>> Happy Tuesday.
>> Oh.
Hello Google.
>> Hi CD.
Hey yeah, I guess it doesn't make sense
to wait 5 minutes. It's too much time.
>> 5. Yeah, I think 3 years is enough.
I was waiting for you to join.
>> Yeah, we're still recording the video,
so we can
uh continue. But, oh, bunch of junk.
>> Yeah, perfect. So, welcome to September
8th
um
community call of 2026.
Reminder, as always, to comply and to
read the antitrust policy notice and the
code of conduct for participating in
this community.
Today, the agenda is not going to be a
huge agenda. I don't think we have any
new welcome or or new person that we
want to onboard to the community, so I'm
going to jump
to the next item, which is the updates
for the mentorship program. And last,
we're going to be talking about some
updates that we did to the to the
identity SDK
and uh other components.
In terms of mentorship program updates,
I think past weeks, we already gave
progress around the
the end of the first phase of the
mentorship program.
This means that we we reached at like
the half milestone, like the middle
middle of the race, and
in terms of features, we are finalizing
a very big important component, which is
the DID management component, which
enables at the end issuing credentials,
emitting specific messages, and all
that. We need specific DIDs
to do that, and and finalizing this
phase will enable us to fully manage
Prism DIDs on the cloud agent, and Prism
DIDs on the SDK TS, and
through a single unified portal that you
can configure yourself, and you can run
the stuff.
I am going to schedule a session. I had
it scheduled for tomorrow, but I did
tell me that he can
he can prefer later later for
for maybe 1 hour 1 hour and a half. Um
so we'll get hopefully this first um
not first, I think it's the second or
third phase completed.
Doing some of the changes and this goes
to the next item. In terms of
the event is decay and the event to the
ecosystem updates,
we did two releases and we probably are
going to do another release today for
the SDK TS.
So on SDK TS, we had some missing
functionality that basically say they
needed to complete his task.
So we basically did a pair programming
session past week. We implemented the
features. We did a release together of
the SDK TS and that feature is ready.
Today probably we need to fix something
that we did wrong.
But yeah, business as usual, he's
already getting familiarized with the
release process and all that.
So that that's a really good thing.
And around Neo Prism, I do not have
details uh around what exactly we had
been releasing. So maybe if Pat is here
and wants to introduce the changes that
have been released,
>> Uh yeah. Um yeah, I I I can do a quick
overview. So
so Neo Prism, we we
we um we have a lot of PRs come coming
in from from the bots and to bump all
the dependencies.
Um but what is interesting is that
there's a one bug fix that has been
nagging us for a long time. So that was
around the the race condition
um from where we consume the the
transaction and then how we index it. So
so yeah, so that fix has land and it
took me
um
I had I had to run like because this
this this this bug is kind of flaky
bugs. And I had to run like
60 70 tests to to be able to reproduce
this. Um yeah, so I'm happy that this is
finally fixed and land on the new
release.
Yep.
Cool. Good job.
Um okay, I I think that's all for the
agenda that we had today.
Um
I'm not sure if you Yuri or anyone else,
do you guys want to talk about anything
specific?
>> Um
there are two items from previous
meeting
to create the agent skill for identos.
It's still on me. I need to create the
issue and
give Bart and myself some time to make
the skill in the right way. And we
currently actively contributing to SDK
rust. It's still in the basic phase, but
probably in a couple of weeks we will
make it public and will announce the
release of this component.
And probably that's it.
>> Awesome. Pretty excited with that.
Okay.
I think that's if there's nothing else,
we can just close a quick meeting this
week and we see how it goes. I think
after the first phase, we should
probably do a
a quick showcase of the progress that
we've done on the website and play with
it during the presentation.
But for today, that's all. Like we are
again crossing the 50% of the mi-
milestone and we need to close the phase
properly.
Hopefully, it will be done by this week
or between this week and next week. So,
yeah.
Thank you guys.
>> Yep.
Great job, guys. Looking forward for
some demo of this progress next week or
in 2 weeks.
>> Awesome.
Awesome.
guys. Thank you.
>> Bye-bye.
>> Bye.
>> Bye-bye.
>> Mhm.
