I Think I Bought A RESEALED Vintage Yugioh Pack..

In today's video, I'm finding out if I got scammed by buying a vintage blister pack. What's up, guys? We are back with another opening. And today, we're looking at a blister pack I bought from Collecton. Now, I bought four at once. I didn't look at them all super closely, apparently. I thought I did, but apparently not. Because if you take a look at this, there seems to be something wrong here. This blister pack is sealed off to the right. I mean, obviously it is very not in the middle at all. So, it seems like it either got resealed and like stuck the wrong way or it could be as simple as just a factory error. But the only real way to prove that it wasn't a receal is to pull a foil. So, we're going to be opening it up today. I had four of these and the other three all were good. I was packaging them all and I grabbed this one as the third to last one and I looked at I'm like, "This looks bad." So, then I shipped the other one and I had this one left. So, it looked like three of them were normal. Everything was fine. Uh, but this one specifically was weird. So, we're going to check it out later in the video. I also brought the Legacy of Darkness I bought in the Asking Every Vendor video at Collecticon, which includes eight packs. And then I have a first at Legacy of Darkness that I've had laying around for a while that we're going to open up as well. We're going to try to get some vintage goodies today. I also have a few Power of the Duelists we're going to open up to keep it old school. And we're going to open a few Battles of Legend because we haven't opened any Battles of Legend in quite a while. And I still, yes, need the Matia. So, Battles of Legend. We do have a few Chaos Origins as well. So, could we have just first pack magic this? There's still a lot of cards I need in here. And Starlight as well. So, if we first pack magic this, that is going to change the whole video. Let's go. Come on. First pack magic. Oh, okay. It is a Starlight, though, so that's very nice. This is not the card I was hoping for, but it will have to work. I can't be mad about getting a Starlight in any [music] any way, shape, or form. So, that's still pretty sick. Okay, let's do uh Chaos Origins. I'm not going to be pack tricking everything uh because we are going to try to open a bunch of packs in this video cuz there's still a lot of stuff that I need. And then we're going to open some vintage as well. So, there's some other cool cards we can get. Legacy of Darkness. See if we can get any of those. I can't believe we we first packed a uh a Starlight rare. That was pretty cool. And Chaos Origins I haven't had great luck with. I've had pretty poor luck with that one so far as well terms of my own cards. If you guys if you guys watch the videos of uh full art week, definitely go back and watch that. I mean, absolutely got destroyed overall. We're going to open Legacy of Darkness or Power of the Duelist after this pack. Let's see. One more chance at Full Art Masia. Not that time. Okay, let's open up Power of the Duelist. I already got very lucky in the 2000 upload special. If you guys didn't see that, I celebrated uploading 2,000 straight days to YouTube. And uh crazy pulls. If you like vintage old school polls and you're like, "Man, I wish RX had opened more old school stuff," definitely go check out that video. It was old school tournament packs. It was part of the duelist. It was some good stuff. And boy, did we get some fantastic polls. You definitely don't want to miss that video. Some of my best polls of the year for sure. And uh probably going to make it in that in that finale at the end of the year. So, that was very exciting to get some crazy awesome polls in there. Like, not just one. There was a couple of nice pulls in there, which is awesome. There's a chibi. That's cool. I'm hoping that today is the day to get some awesome stuff. This is a nice weekend opening. We're opening some fun stuff. Uh just enjoying uh Wait, we're not doing this for these. We're Oh, I just I would love to get this a Starlight. Speaking of um but that's a cool card. I'll put that super in the hits pile just cuz I like that card. I think it's really awesome looking. Let's see what else we can get. Uh the black uh Brago is an Edison card, I think. So, very nice. Let's try our first Legacy of Darkness. So, these did come from loose packs from a vendor. So, I'd imagine we're probably not going to get anything, but it would be really cool to get obviously a secret rare. Maybe get like a Roa, Exiled Force, Spear Dragon. There's a lot of really cool vintage cards in Legacy of Darkness. So, I would be cool with getting something like Invulg. Okay. Dragon's Gunfire. We can beat a giant dragon. We don't get to open vintage very much anymore or old school. [music] Uh, Sammy Destruction and Thunder. Nion. Nion. It's kind of a cool goat card. We could throw that in the goat box. It's not like super goaty, but it's that era. So, like if you wanted to get creative with your deck, it'd be nice to have that in the uh as an option, I should say. All right, Draguni Legatus out of Battles of Legend, Chaos Origins. Still so many cards I need from Chaos Origins cuz I've gotten absolutely decimated. There's a Ravi. It's a cool super rare, but uh I've I it's been rough for me for Chaos Origins. Like super rough. All right, next we have Okay, Chibi. That's cool. I'll take that. Let's try Power of the Duelist again. I We just had a great pull in Power of the Duelist, so I don't imagine we're going to get anything. But I'm going to open a few packs for you guys just to make it extra fun. We're going to spend a little bit of money on this pack opening. Little bit as in, you know, not too little. There's a a Neos. It's somewhat expensive. We have Dspirit. Oh yes. And one of my favorite ulties you can get out of retail power of the duel is the back does have some scuffing on it. I'm probably just going to put this in my binder because I've been building up my binder just to like have a full binder of like cards I like or have acquired or pulled or whatever and it's getting close to full and I think this is an appropriate an appropriate card. Uh like back in the day I would have graded this and been like this is like a nine or a 10 even with that scuffing. But these days they're gonna hammer you on every little thing. So, it's like, you know what? I'll just put my submarine roid in my binder. That's probably the best pull we're going to get all day. That's awesome. I don't think it's super expensive. Maybe it's 30 bucks. That might even be high. I don't know. But, oh, Pyramid Turtle. Nice Addison card or go-kart. Uh, but in terms of cards I like, that's one of them. So, very cool to get that. Plus, it's an old school ulti. There are a lot worse ulties in that set as well. So, very cool to get that. I like getting fun cards. [music] And submarine is always such a goofy one. and attack directly. Switch over or switch back just to defense mode. It's just annoying. It's fun. So, uh, if you're if you're the one using it. If you're not, it's like, okay, this thing's a kind of a pain. Is it level four? It is level four. Dang. So, no gravity bind. Okay. Okay. Nothing in there. Let's try Legacy of Darkness. Legacy of Darkness. What else can we pull out of the darkness? We already got something. Oh, I just saw it, guys. I just saw the card. Convulsion of nature. I just saw the goat. The patrition of darkness. This card used to mean nothing to me and now it means so much thanks to childhood Yu-Gi-Oh. So, I got to pull that card out for the goat box cuz it's a goated goat card. All right. Dragon Rage and then Opticlops rare. So far, the Legacy of Darkness are kind of performing as expected. I think we have 50 total packs as a substitute substitute, I should say. Uh, I think there are 50 total packs to be opened today. Uh the newer ones make up about 30 of them, so they will be going a little quicker. But uh we have a decent amount of packs to be opened. Should be a good time. Don't really do these. I mean, I know there's some people that are like, "Man, dude, I wish the good old days every day was an opening or at least close to every day." And it's like, yeah, those were good times, you know, but it is getting harder to find product. Like less people are really caring about openings, so we just don't get to do them quite as much. And like the series are a lot of fun for me and I think more people actually like those. But the openings will never leave the channel. So don't you worry. Uh and so I'm kind of doing this one special for you guys who are opening fans. If you're a big opening fan, you're like, "Man, I love I miss the old days of all the openings." Well, here you go. That you're going to love this one, though. Okay. Power of the Duelist First Edition. Let's see what we can get. I'm doing pack trick on the older ones because they are, you know, vintage pack. 20 years old for the power of the duelist and older for the legacy of darkness guardian. There's another Neos. Oh, wait. I did the wrong pack trick. Destiny Hero double dude. Super rare. He's double. He's a dude and he is a super rare. Very cool. Pretty clean card as well. Very nice. We'll take a super rare. So, Power of the Duelist is performing, but I know those are unwade because I have had tons and tons of the or I have tons and tons of those or have had I guess most of them are gone from that lot. But, uh, so I know these there's been many good pulls from people like many, many good pulls. Oh, I forgot I have two uh heroes packs as well. That's going to be fun to open. Chibi Summon Skull. You don't see that every day. That's an awesome card. Uh, I always have trouble playing the Chibi Summon Skull. Still have not pulled the actual Starlight version. So that would be fantastic to actually get one of those at some point. Just saying. You know what else would be fantastic to get? Mia Shape Snatch. That's a great card. By great, I mean goofy, but also fun. If we get one foil of these Legacy of Darkness, I'll be happy. And out of the unlimited. The first ED is a separate thing. I have no idea where that came from. I just found it in like a box and I was like, "Oh, wow." Okay. All right. Come on. Gradius option. Cool. You want to play the gradius stuff? I'll put that in the goat box. Who knows? Spiritual energy settle machine. Super robo lady. Troop dragon. Thank hiccup. Fusion sword. Minosame blade. Okay. Struggling. I had like a hiccup burp thing there and I couldn't breathe. That was weird. That happens way too often. Lagia chibi. We're getting a lot of chibiies which is fantastic. Only a couple more packs of Chaos Origin and Battles of Legend. We are almost completely done with those. There's Uriah. I've gotten everything but Lord of Skinny Thunder. I think that's wild. And okay, secret rare. It's going to be mostly vintage and ended. I know you guys mostly care about the old school stuff, but it always is fun to check out the new ones, especially with the full arts and stuff. And knowing that I have not really pulled that well out of those sets. Blade Master, Relis, the Starboard, Ruxen Special, Wonder Garage, Synthetic Saraphim, Black Terror, and Dark City, the Darkest of Cities. Let's open one of the Oh, I have three of these. I have a Heroes pack. These were all packs I brought to uh Collecton and didn't end up opening. Oh, Dark Magical Curtain. That's cool. Oh, and the Kuribo. That's also a nice secret. One more Chaos Origins pack. Why did I pack trick that? Maybe because it's the last pack. Ruxen Special. S Force Power Patron. Ruxen Special. Double RXen Special today. That's okay because we have Legacy of Darkness. We still could use some uh legendary oceans as well for the water deck. That could also be cool. Bubble Crash, Robotic Knight, Double Snare, Devil Snare, Skull Knight number two, Dragon's Rage, Ryukishing Clown, Heart of Clear Water, and Azura Priest. We got a hollow and it's an awesome one. Super rare Azura Priest. And the back is looking pretty clean. Overall, a nice condition old school goat card. Very nice overall. I wasn't expecting to get any foils, so getting one at all is awesome. Now I'm expecting to get a grandmaster. Let's go. Grandmaster time. Here we go. No grandmaster. All right, we tried. Power of the duelist. And don't forget, we have a scam pack to open at the end, which I hope isn't a scam, but even if it is, Feronic Guardian has some good rares. So, and commons. So, hopefully there will be something good in there no matter what. Like a metamorphosis. I could use more for my goat box. I usually sell them. Then I'm only like down to a couple metamorphosis. I have to find them in other decks and I'm like, where'd I put that deck? You know, it's kind of a pain. Oh yeah, last heroes pack. Let's get a grandmaster and everybody's happy. Got a collector rare, I think. Yep, we got a heavy polymerization, whichever one it is. Nice collector rare. Very, very beautiful. So, interesting that they have collector rares in their heroes, but our magnificent monsters does not. That's interesting. We didn't get collectors or ultimates for whatever reason. Hm. Okay, not a huge deal because I mean they're they are kind of cool but not necessarily needed but in a premium product you kind of expect it. Heart of clear water and warrior returning alive but maybe they're thinking like let's not oversaturate the rarity and you know put 20 rarities of everything which I can appreciate that as well. Okay. Miracle Jurassic Egg, Mausoleum, Decoy, Roid, Bite, Lawn, Dspirit, Wonder Garage, Alien Gray, Synthetic Saraphim, Cosmic Horror, Gangiel. All right. How many more packs do we have? Three of those. We got one first out of there. Okay. So, I think we got three unlimited Legacy of Darkness. We This is also a first dead for a guardian. If there's actual, you know, real pack in there and maybe it got recealed like and the pack didn't get open. They just like they probably would have waited at that point, but maybe they just sealed it back or whatever. Super Robbo 8. Where's Legendary Ocean at? Susa Soldier. I could like really use that. That'd be sick. A lot of these are not cards for goat. And the more goat cards I can get, the better. Now for power of the duelist, four from the back. We have brainwashing beam, alien hunter, common saw. One ulti so far, one super ultra would be great. There's a lot of heroes. Another ulti would be awesome. Pass of Destiny, Dspirit, Wonder Garage, and Dchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchchain. A chain for Okay, maybe not. Maybe not that. All right, let's check out Legacy of Darkness. My battery is getting low on my phone because my phone dies in 8 seconds, which is fantastic. Another great reason not to use your phone to record. Four from the back. Let's see if we can get this dragon dwelling in the cave. Spirits invitation. Twined wolf. Gradius's option. Troop dragon. Fang Shing Mirror, Patrician of Darkness, the goat of Legacy of Darkness. We have a faint plan and oh, speaking of goats, fantastic Edison card. A decent goat card. Fantastic Edison guard. Bottomless trap hole. Legacy of Darkness does have some pretty awesome cards and it is proving that right now. Can we get something here in this Power of the Duelist bag? By the way, if you do want to grab some Power of the Duelist, I do have some available on my website and whatnot. So, you can get them in uh groups of 1, 5, 10, and 24. So, if you want a full like booster box worth of these 2006 first dead packs, they are all unweighed. They are random packs, so you may get crazy ratio. I've had people buy 10 packs and get five ultis. I've had people buy 10 and get zero ulties. So, it's just kind of random on what you get, but there is definitely a chance to get stuff out of these packs. So, go check those out on rux34.com. elemental hero Neos. Very nice. So, keep an eye out for PSA graded sealed stuff. It's a lot there. I put some singles up there. Let's try this Legacy Darkness last unlimited pack. We've got one super so far, which is honestly better than expected, but it'd be great to get a secret or an ultra right here. Even another super would be awesome. There's some good ones. Patrician of Darkness number three. A playset of the goat of Legacy of Darkness. I got to put that in the the hit pile. Cave Dragon and looks like a foil. Let's see what the stats are. Ooh, twin headed behemoth. Okay, super rare. So, those were not at least fully weighted. You know, we got some couple of foils out of there. This is a pretty cool card. Has a once per duel effect, which is pretty goofy. Uh, twin headed behemoth. Awesome. Two hits out of eight packs, I think, and I got one extra. So, it's two for nine, which is not bad. Overall, pretty close to ratio. Let's open our last power of the duelist. Then we'll do First Dead Legacy Darkness, then the weird Feronic Guardian blister pack. Did I actually get scammed? We're not actually going to know that answer, but we can make an estimated guess. The we pull like a ultra rare, then probably not, you know, but if we don't pull anything, then it's kind of just like maybe, maybe not. Or if we pull like Power Rangers cards or whatever, we'll know. We got scammed, so we might get answers. We might not. We have Alien Hunter, Common Soul, Neos, that's like our third one of those at least. Dspirit, Crystals, Dolphin, Alien Warrior. Very nice. Okay, one pack of Legacy of Darkness First Ed. That's been in my Where was this? It was just in a box. I have no idea where this came from, but Legacy of Darkness First Ed. I got to hydrate for this one. We got to be ready cuz if we pull like a secret rare first dead, that's a huge pull. I don't remember the last time I opened First Dead: Legacy of Darkness. It's been a little bit. We did open a good bit of this throughout the years, but it's been a while. This one opens way easier for whatever reason. First dead pack, four from the back. I would love to get a first dead legendary ocean common as well. We never got a single legendary ocean in here. Dragon dwelling dwelling in the cave. A huge dragon dwelling in a cave. It is horrible when it gets angry. Although it is usually quiet, it is said to preserve certain treasures. So, watch out. Smog is ready. Spirits invitation. Twin-headed wolf. Where's my legendary ocean? Spring of rebirth. Maharagi spirit throwstoneone unit. Looks like no legendary ocean here and oh wait one more card. Super robo yaru. Okay seeer ultra super bottomless fatal abacus. NO, NOT THE ACCOUNTING. First edition pack. Unfortunately first edition miss. Now we get to the climax of the video. Did I get scammed from this feronic guardian blister which has an ancient name that exists before so powerful blah blah blah. Nine cards per every pack. Man, these are nostalgic. The backs of these look amazing. [music] And obviously this is not in the right spot. It does not move. So it was either glued back in super well or uh it just originally got sealed like this. But even an original seal a lot of times will move. So it makes me think maybe it was resealed just cuz it's so tight in there. I'm trying to like just pop it out. But this thing is really on there good. So, I really don't know what to think right now. All right, I guess we're just going to have to rip it open. Here we go. Maybe it was an original seal and like just weirdness happened. I mean, it's opening pretty normally. It's kind of opening like a normal one would open. It's ripping the back, which does happen a lot on these. And yeah, that kind of looks a lot like it would, at least from my experience with some old school blisters. Interesting. Okay, now I'm even more confused. First Ed, this pack doesn't feel weird at all. Feels like a regular first dead pack. Doesn't feel like there's different cards in there. I mean, now I don't think they would have resealed this pack. It probably would just be Wade. But overall, feels like a normal pack. Doesn't I'm not seeing any signs of anything. Okay, first Dead For Guardian. Maybe we have a good pack here. Now, if it's a good pack, I mean, we we we I could have ever sold that blister. I don't think like that because it would always look resealed. Um, but it was like, you know, 100 plus dollar blister that we're opening up here. So, hoping for something good. Doesn't have to necessarily be a h 100 bucks, but I would love to get a hollow. That would make me feel a lot better. Reaper on the nightmare is awesome. Donaluga is awesome. It'd be nice to get a metamorphosis common trap dust shoot. Let's see what we can get. timidity, non-aggression area, charm of shi. So far, none of these are the commons I'm looking for in the common slots. Pyro clock of destiny. Okay, birdface. Justice for birdface is officially here. Quick panic's going to love that one. Ride of spirit. All right, we got something out of here. We got a metamorphosis, which is formerly a very expensive common. It's now only a few bucks, but in goat format. This is a great card to have, especially since I have a goat box. And this is a card that often gets sold because it costs like a few dollars. So, I'll sell it for seven bucks or six bucks, whatever it was that much. And I didn't set aside as many. So, whenever I build decks and multiple decks, I don't have enough metamorphosis. [music] So, this will be good to add to the goat box. Servant of Catabolism. All right, last card here. Why is that looking like a foil back here? Book of Life, even. Maybe that would be an awesome card as well that I don't have a ton of. Book of Life is a super rare in this set. Uh what else could there be? There's a few other super rarers. Let's see. Uh or sorry, uh Magic SL uh spell cards in here. We actually spoilers. We actually got Magikard version, which fonic guardian is when they were switching that over. [music] So you can get both spell card, feric guardian, and magic card. Let's see what the last card is. Oh, and Necro Valley. That's a huge one. So it looks like Okay, we got to mess up with the Rxen [music] face. It looks like I did not get scammed. And that was just a weirdly sealed blister. And check out that horrible center. [laughter] It's a little bode. It's got terrible centering, but it's still a Necro Valley hollow out of first edition Feronic Guardian. So, we know this is the original print. This is not one of the 15 Aratas of Necro Valley. This is the OG. Incredible. Nice hollow there. What an awesome way to end this video. Actually finding out I didn't get scammed.
