Video summary

In this comprehensive speed review, the creator tests 45 new makeup products, focusing specifically on the latest releases in eye and lip categories as part of a two-part series. The video begins with eyebrow solutions, where the NYX Brow Glue Crazy Lift receives praise for its exceptional hold on stubborn brows that naturally point downward, despite the creator's dislike for its sticky applicator. Moving to eyeshadows, the Shantai Mermaid Eye Colors are highlighted for their versatility and ability to dry down to a powder finish, though the high price point suggests buying only during sales. Conversely, the Dior Show Flash Stick in beige is critiqued for appearing dull and textured rather than shiny on the eyelid. The mascara segment reveals that while the Milani Lash Extension XL takes too long to dry, the Lash Sensational Body Mascara offers better volume and curl retention, albeit with some flakiness, leading the creator to conclude that other drugstore options may be superior. The review then shifts to an extensive evaluation of lip products, starting with oils and balms where the Clarins Cryo Plumping Lip Oil is found too watery compared to the brand's original formula, and the LancĂ´me Acai Mango Smoothie is enjoyed for its scent but criticized for leaving a subtle yellow tint. Among lip liners, the Buxom Powerline Pelt Sculpt Pencils are crowned as an underrated favorite for their natural colors and creamy texture, while the Maybelline Lifter Liner is recommended over Milani for better longevity and wearable shades. The creator also explores unique formats like the Ulta Beauty Collection Magic Marker Lip Stains, which provide long-lasting color through a staining effect, and the Buxom Plump Shot Fill and Flip Lip Liner, which ultimately fails to deliver on its plumping promises due to an irritating application method. Finally, the video covers a wide array of lip colors and glosses, including the viral Kiko Milano Lip Duo, which impressively prevents transfer when topped with its included clear coat but requires the gloss to avoid drying out the lips. The Shantai Lion collection lip bells are noted for their buildable opacity and suitability for fall and winter wear, while the Westman Atelier Suede Matte Lipstick is appreciated for its glide but considered slightly too peachy for some preferences. The review concludes with high praise for the Jane Eyre Colorux High Impact Lip Glazes for filling a market gap with cool-toned mauve shades and the Benefit Benetint Pocket Pals, which combines a long-lasting stain with an amazing clear gloss in one portable package, proving to be a standout product even for someone who typically dislikes lip stains.

45 45 Ladies and gentlemen, today I have 45 items that I am speed reviewing for you today. [music] As you guys know, I never use a product just once on my channel. I am putting it in my speed review drawer and I'm going to test these products until I've tested them enough that I feel confident to give you my final review on them. And that's what this is. And if you missed it, I have part one already uploaded which goes over the complexion products. And for today's part two, I'm going to be talking about the newest eyes and lip products that I've been testing. So, make sure you check out part one if you missed it. But yeah, 45 products. It's a long one. I like to break these really long ones up, especially for those of you who are focused more on one specific category. Give you a break. Give me a break. Give my husband a break. We have some interesting products and then we do have some like flops if you ask me. in this one. So, let's go ahead and get started. The first product that I'm going to be talking about is for the eyebrows. This is the NYX the Brow Glue Crazy Lift. Now, I actually was not a big fan of the original brow glue because I feel like my eyebrows, it actually weighed them down and caused them to kind of fall down. This one actually has phenomenal hold. The brows feel a bit sticky. It doesn't dry down crunchy, but this really does hold well. My only thing with this is I do not like the applicator on this. It's fine. I'll deal with it, but it's just not my favorite. But again, look at my brows. It does a really nice job. And as somebody with very stubborn brows that do like to point downwards, this is actually really good. This is one of the best hold brow gels on the drugstore market that I found. So, I actually really do like this. I think the hold is impressive. Now, for eye shadows, I have these pots from Shanta Kai. These are the mermaid eye colors. So, the first shade that I demoed is the matte shade in Sylvia. And I've talked about this a lot recently because I actually featured this in a no eyeshadow eyeshadow video. Now, this is a cream eyeshadow, but it does dry down to powder. It's really soft. And this particular shade is beautiful because it's a great one and done shade, but I did just use it in my crease today. And then I used the eye color in the shade copper all over my eyelid. Now, this is creasing just a little bit. I didn't set my eyelids properly, so it's due to that. But there's a lot of products that I don't need to set my eyelids properly. So, definitely if you have oily skin, keep an eye out for that. But overall, these are really nice, very easy to use. I personally prefer the matte shade, but both are really great. But you know how I stand with Shantaai. They're very, very expensive. Definitely only purchase on sale. But the standout shade to me is Sylvie just because of how versatile it is. You can use it with a bunch of other products. This one doesn't really crease on me and it's a beautiful one and done shade. An eyehadow stick that I've been testing is the Dior Dior Show Flash Stick and I picked up the shade beige tool because I did a bridal tutorial with this and this is a beautiful bridal shade. That said, I don't love this shade. I would recommend that you pick up other lid shades than this one. And I don't want to speak to the product range as a whole because I've only tried one shade, but I do find that this one it's just dull on the eyelid. It just wasn't what I was expecting. It's fine. It gets the job done, but I was hoping it would be a little bit more shiny and I feel like the glitters in here kind of make the eyelid look a little bit more textured. So, I don't love this shade. I'm not writing off this product yet, but I don't love the shade. I think it wears well, though. I'll give it that. A couple different mascaras that I've been testing. The first one is from Milani. This is the highly rated Lash Extension XL. This is a tubing mascara. Now, this at the end of the day, it is a fine mascara, but I do find that it doesn't do really anything too impressive with my lashes, and it simply takes too long to dry down. I like my mascaras to dry down quickly because because I curl my lashes after I apply mascara, and this is just too wet and heavy. It takes like an hour to fully dry down, which I think is crazy. So, for that reason, I do have to write this one off. I still prefer my Hourglass when it comes to tubing mascaras. And then there's this new one at the drugstore. This is the Lash Sensational Body Mascara. And this one gives really nice volume, definition, and length. I feel like it kind of does it all. And it looks so much better actually than the Milani. It dries faster as well, and it holds a curl a little bit better. So all around, it's not a too big mascara, but I think it makes my lashes look good. The only thing you need to watch out for is this will be a little flaky. It's not terrible to where I want to write the mascara off, but I do have some black flakes on my face at the end of the day with that. So, that's not my favorite. I think there's just better drugstore mascaras other than these two. The Maybelline is very pretty, so I do like it, but I don't know that I'd repurchase it. So, that's it that I have for eyes. The eye category was pretty small today, but we do have a large and in charge lip category. Okay. So then I tried this from Clarins because I love their lip oil, but this one's a little bit different. This is the cryo plumping lip oil. So they say that this uses this like cryo technology that's supposed to plump the lips. It also does have a minty sensation. To me, it feels more watery than the original lip oil formula. It just doesn't touch the original lip oil formula because Clarins is one of my all-time favorite lip oils. It's thinner. It is minty, but it's clear. I I don't like that. And then I am counting these as two separate products, but I've been using the new Lanz Acai Mango Smoothie for summer and I prefer the lip glowy balms. I think these stay on the lips a little bit longer and they're more of like a gloss, so they add a pretty shine. This I can see like a little bit of an odd yellow tint to it. But it's fruity. It smells good. It's been delightful to use this summer and I do really enjoy this formula, but I don't know. I don't like the color that it leaves. It's very, very subtle, but I notice it. And then I do often use these lip sleeping masks. So, they do have this. I prefer this in the glowy balm formula. This one is just not as hydrating, but I do use one every single night. Not this one right now. Is the one This one, it's not the one that I actively use every night. I have a peppermint one that I use every night, but this one is like that nice subtle fruity smell. I mean, it's not my favorite Lanesh formula. I think they have better flavors in the winter. So, yeah, it sounded good. I love the tie-dye effect that it has, but I am a little underwhelmed by this flavor, I guess I'll put it. And then I tried this from Buxom. I thought this was interesting. This is the Plump Shot Fill and Flip Lip Liner. So, it's very, very thin. It does have this really thin applicator because you can put it on the outsides of the lips as well, which is supposed to give that it's really like a irritated look. That's what it's going for. If you don't know, a lip plumper irritates the lips, which is supposed to then make it more full. Um, no. The application of this I don't love. It's just a really small applicator. And honestly, I didn't notice it doing any plumping. I definitely felt the plumping sensation. I think that this smells weird as well. I don't like this product. I tried it because I thought it sounded cool, but I did not end up loving it. I have quite a few different lip liner formulas to share with you. This first one, I think, is my it's my favorite range of the bunch, and it's super underrated. This is from Buxom. These are the Powerline Pelt Sculpt Lip Pencils, and I think these colors are just so natural and beautiful on the lips. Uh you'll see in the swatch, shaded taupe. This is one of the actual coolest lip liners that I've ever seen. in tone. I mean, these have a very creamy application and they do set down and last a long time, but I feel that these colors are very soft and natural, which makes them really great for everyday. Portrait Pink, Blush Stroke, Bare Canvas, Dolly Defined, Abstract Rosé, Shaded Taupe. So, for me, the stand out, I think the formula is great and the color range is great and these are absolutely an underrated formula. And I'm not sure the exact dates, but these are going to be 50% off at Ulta, and I'll share when they are for the 21 days of beauty because these are a really beautiful lip liner. The other one from the drugstore that I've been using is Milani. I ended up giving up few shades away because I just wouldn't wear them. But these are the Keep It Full Plumping lip liners. Now, keep in mind these, they have a plumping sensation, which I don't love. When I put these on, I do feel a subtle sting. It's not anything painful, but I do feel it. I really like the colors of this one as well. I've used the shade twice as spice the most. And then today I'm wearing go all pout in this talking portion. Go all pout. My personal favorite twice as spice over the top hot shot. So these are very pretty shades. They're a little bit on the softer side. They don't apply like with full full pigment and they're not as longasting as Buxom. Just comparing the two. These are softer in the amount of pigment. Beautiful shade range, don't last as long as the Buxom and not as creamy as the Buxom, but also still really nice. Like even though they sound like they're not as good as the Buxom, and they aren't, I still very much enjoy them. And then I picked up a new shade of one of my favorite drugstore lip liner formulas. This is the lifter liner from Maybelline. If you are going drugstore, I do recommend to look at the Maybelline line. These are better than the Milani. They last longer and they have really beautiful wearable shades. So, the shade that I picked up is Upstate, which is a little bit more neutral, right? It's a brown kind of mauvey shade. I love it. I think it's stunning. It just adds a pretty soft everyday lip. So, I love that shade. And then I also recentlyish, this has actually been in my speed reviews drawer for a bit, but this is the YSL Love Nude Kiss Shaper Lip Pencil. So these shades in the whole range are meant to be like sculpting shades. So I picked up the shade 102. And this is a little bit more I'm going to say like peachy brown comparing it to the Maybelline shade. But again, this is one where it's not deeper than my lips. It's actually a little bit lighter, but it's nice because it changes the tone of my natural lips. Now, keep in mind like I have very naturally pigmented lips, so I typically go for I would say more of a bolder lip liner when it comes to my lips just to bring my lips out a little bit more. This one is softer, but I've actually really enjoyed it. And this one has a nice smooth glide, sets down, lasts a long time. It's just a lot more money, but it is really pretty if you ask me. This shade also belongs in the Buxom line, but I ended up really liking the YSL lip liners, but there are so many good lip liners out there. Do you need to buy the YSL? No. But they did come out with a good formula. Then the last lip liner that I have is from Ulta Beauty Collection. And these are interesting. I know these are not like a unique product. They have these in Korean beauty, but I think to the mainstream market, these are far and few between. So these are the magic marker lip stains. So, it's fun because they're in a in a little Crayola marker is what they look like form. The lighter colors are more of a lighter tint. The deeper colors, as you can see in my demo, um it really gave me a lot of color. It ended up like truly staining my lips. Like these last a very long time, but you'll see how they start off a little bit more sheer. It's just when they hit the pigment of my lips is when they turn bold. But if you truly just line the outskirts of the lips, it's a really nice unique to me tint marker, which I really, really like that aspect of it. So, I'm [snorts] not a huge lip stain person. I just don't like the color they turn when they actually hit my lips. But these are of the nicer variety if you ask me. And I like that they're more tinted. So, I do like those. And they last a really, really long time as well. And then getting into like lip colors, I have this one from Kiko Milano. This went viral, so I tried it. This is their little lip duo, which I do think is a dupe of Chanel, I believe, where it comes with a base color and a clear top coat. So, the base color is just a liquid lipstick. And honestly, this formula on its own is quite drying, but this gloss is so pretty, so hydrating. And I did the cup test with it. the way I ran to get these. We'll do the liquid lipstick first. This is the shade 102, by the way. I'm going to give this a couple minutes to dry. And now the clear coat. This is just like a clear gloss. Barely any color got on this. Here we go. No transfer, none at all. If you're going to wear a glossy red lip, this is the way. Like, I can't believe it's actually legit. It is. It is. So, when you put this on top and you run like a clear cup over your lips, you'll see it doesn't transfer. And it's the real deal. It's legit. It the base color does need the gloss though or it's quite drying. I picked this up from Sephora. It's just a new shade. I wanted to share it because I feel like the range was really missing this. My demos did not do it justice. You'll have to see my in my Sephora haul. I was wearing this and it was very beautiful. Just delete this. Just delete this. I just messed my lips up with all the lip stains and swatching, but it is beautiful. My demo did not do it justice. But I picked up a new shade of the gloss bomb sticks in the shade birthday suit. And this is a true for my skin tone. Really nice light peachy nude. So, they were definitely missing in the range a shade like this. And I love this. It's like a full pigment gloss lipstick hybrid. Very hydrating, very glossy, very glowy on the lips. Now, it leans more towards lipstick rather than gloss, which is why I like it because it has some body on the lips, and I just really like that shade. They needed that in the range. It's a pretty, very, very light nude. And if you pair it with a deep liner, it's gorgeous. And then Shantaa, another item from their Lion collection, launched their lip bells, which is a formula that I'm very familiar with in very fall shades. So, keep that in mind with this. These are definitely fall colors. My favorite of the two is Rock Jasmine. It's a little bit lighter. It's more of that brown shade. And then there's candalabra, which is a bit deep and bold. I definitely will be pulling it out more so when it comes to the winter time, but these are really beautiful. The name speaks for itself in that it's more of a veil. So, you can actually get a light amount of color with this or you can build it up for full opacity. And I do really like this formula. It's very hydrating. It's made from good ingredients. And I like how buildable this formula is. So pretty colors for fall. I still would probably pick other colors in their range. Like these aren't my kinds of colors, but I know they are for somebody and they're nice. I like Shantaai lipsticks. Another overpriced lipstick formula that I've been testing is from Westminatilier. This is their lip suede matte lipstick. Again, this came from a Nordstrom kit and this is the shade rose. And it is just that it's a really pretty rose shade. It glides on the lips almost too easy to where I feel like it's not sinking into the lips. It's almost sitting on top, so I feel like I have to kind of push it in. But [snorts] I feel like there's like a hint too much peach in this. I would have liked it just a little bit more vibrant, but it still is a gorgeous everyday rose shade. And I think it just depends on your skin tone and preferences. This is definitely going to be the rose tone for somebody. I like this formula. I I'm on the fence if I really want to purchase more Westminatilier lipsticks. Like at the end of the day, I still just prefer my Charlotte Tilbury, but this is a very weighty, heavy packaging. And these are different from the Charlotte Tilbury formula. But I feel like the Charlotte Tilbury formula grabs the lips a little bit better, which in the long run, I think helps with longevity more. But at the same time, it's kind of nice how easily this glides over the lips. Anyways, I like the color. I like that I bought it in a set. Let me put it that way. And then I have some new gloss formulas, right? Yes. So this first one is also from Lesmanilier from the same kit and I'm actually very surprised how much I've ended up loving this. So this is their squeaky clean liquid lip balm. So it is very hydrating in the shade sushu. And so it's just this light pink and I just thought it was going to be a clear gloss, but actually the milky color of this is so pretty over so many of my other lipsticks. And even though it's like a liquid lip balm, it works great as a gloss, but you get that added benefit of extra hydration. And yeah, I thought this milky color was just going to read clear, but it actually softens the lip color that I have on underneath. And it's so so gorgeous. I actually really like this. Of that Nordstrom set, this is definitely my favorite product in the set. And I thought it was going to be the one that I liked the least, but I love that product. intensely hydrating, glossy, and glowy, and just adds a pretty veil over the lips. And then I've been testing this from Clarins. This is the lip perfector. This is just a little travel size. This is such a pretty glossy gloss. It's a little on the thinner side, but I do love the reflection of this. A gloss is a gloss. Like, it's not anything you need to run out and buy, but I'm very impressed by the glossiness of this, so I'll give it that. Jane Eyerdale also came out with new colors of one of my all-time favorite lip gloss formula. So, these are the Colorux high impact lip glazes, and these are, as stated, they're high pigment. They're more of a pigmented gloss formula, which I love, but they're still very glossy, comfortable, and plush on the lips. And so, these three shades that they launched, a more dusk, and pink suede, these are all leaning more cool tone. They're leaning a little bit more mauvey, which is definitely what the range needed and what not a lot of brands create. I just feel like brands, their lip colors lean so so warm, and this kind of filled that void. So, I love these new colors and since I already love this formula, I did want to share those with you. Another new gloss formula that I've been testing is from Ulta Beauty Collection. These are the Ultra Glosses, and these are so pretty. They're a get the job done formula. They're not too much money. You're going to get different finishes here, like my most used one here, which is shine language. But here are the other shades. Gloss filter, gloss cause. Look at this one. Fresh drip shine signal for fall. This one's my most used one. Shine language. Yeah. But there's like a multi-chrome finish. There's this flat finish. This shade gloss filter is such a pretty nude. These are solid. Like there's nothing super special about this lip gloss formula, but there's also nothing bad about this lip formula either. It's like the kind of thing where if you see a color that you like a lot that you'll wear a lot, it's worth the pickup. But it's not like worth picking up just because of the formula alone. You can only get so far with a different lip gloss formula. But this one, like not super impressive, but definitely not bad at all either. I've used it a lot because if I needed a specific color, I've liked them. One thing to note with some of the shimmer ones, the glitters are a little thick and you will feel feel them across the lips, which isn't my favorite thing, but I'm not writing it off because of that. And then the final product that I have to talk about, and this is such a good product, and it's not even my style of product, so that's how you know it's good. Benefit launched these Benitint pocket pals, and if you are a fan of Benitint, you are going to want to check these out. I'm not even really a fan of Benitin for myself and I really love these. So, this is what everybody needed. First of all, you can put these in your purse. You have your OG benitint and they have the different shades of benitint in one side and it just very pretty stains the lips and then on the other side they have this clear gloss that you can put over top. But this clear gloss is actually amazing. It's extremely glossy and glowy. Like I would use this clear lip gloss on its own. It's just a bonus that you have the lip stain on the other side, which of course you can also touch up like your cheeks with this as well. It is a very great stain formula. It's been around for such a long time and I don't know why they haven't created this in this format. And these are pretty on the lips. As someone who doesn't love a lip stain, I've enjoyed those a lot. Those have been very, very fun for the summer. It doesn't get all over your face. And again, that gloss on the other side is just fantastic. So, that is everything, you guys. Those were 45 of the newest products that I've been testing. Like I said, make sure you check out part one if you want to see the complexion products, but I will have everything I use linked down below for you guys. And we had some hints, we had some misses, but overall, the point of this video is to help you kind of narrow down the good and bad products and what would be the best for you and put a bunch of them all in one video and keep it nice and quick. So, I hope this was helpful and I could lead you to your next favorite product. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and found it helpful and I will see you guys in the next one.
