I Tested 34 VIRAL New Makeup Products… Watch Before You Buy 👀 Speed Reviews Pt. 1

45 45. Ladies and gentlemen, today I have 45 items that I am speed reviewing for you today. All of these are makeup products that I have thoroughly tested and I'm ready to give you my final review on. As you guys know, I'm not a channel where you see me use a product only once and then you never hear about it again. I put every product that I try in a drawer in front of me where I do my makeup every day. And once I feel like I've used it enough, use it with multiple products. used it with multiple techniques. Given that them thorough wear tests, I'm ready to give you my final review on them. They get put in a speed reviews video. And today we had a big one because my drawer was once again overflowing. You see all the new makeup that's launching and a lot of these are products that I've given a lot of time to. So, I'm ready to get them out with all of the new makeup launching. So, yeah, 45 products. We have a long one today. Very very sorry to my husband Jose who will be editing this, but not sorry for you guys because this is going to be fun. Let's get into it. A lot of these are pretty new, popular, viral products, so you're going to want to grab a snack and grab a drink. [music] As always, let's start off with complexion. The first product that I have today, I really love this. This is from RH. This is their highlight milk. Now, I got this when it first launched, and a lot of the colors sold out. So, I ended up with the shade 01, which has this pinky lilac turn to it, which I don't love, but the product I do love. It is the glazing milk formula, which is like a very milky, rich toner, but it's very light prior to makeup. And I actually like this better than the OG glazing milk for daytime. This leaves such a pretty natural pearl to the skin that if I want glowy skin, I will wear this on its own. I just don't like this color. So, I actually did order a different shade that I think would be prettier during the daytime on its own. This is like a no makeup makeup product, right? Where it just gives that little bit of a glowy effect, but it's also beautiful prior to makeup because it hydrates the skin and also will add a subtle glow depending on what product you use over top. It could allow the glow to show through from this. So, this is pretty. I think it leans more towards skin care product rather than makeup because the glow is so subtle, but definitely a daytime skincare product, not a nighttime product because of the pearl in here, but gorgeous. I ended up really loving this more than I thought. From Essence, I have the Glow Like Honey Dewy Primer. This is supposed to be makeup gripping, and honestly, it suspiciously resembles honey a lot closer than it should. It's sweet like honey. It's thick like honey, and it's a little bit sticky on the face. I do think overall this makes my makeup application experience better. I don't think in the long run it does anything great for my skin really or anything like revolutionary, right? It does lightly hydrate. It does have a subtle grip. It is more so of a pleasant experience to apply, but I don't think it's a game-changing product. There's a lot of other products out there that can do this. But this is super duper affordable. But even essence within its own range has I think more effective primer. So I like it. And I don't really have anything bad to say about it, but it just doesn't stand out to me. I also have been testing the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Complexion Perfector. Now, what's unique about this is it does have like a base neutral color and then it has color correcting tones. Now, they did kind of repackage and reformulate this and this new product actually has like almost half the amount of product. So, do keep that in mind. I like this actually though for acne. So, I like using the base shade on my acne and then blending it out. And if I need to adjust the color of it at all based on what foundation I'm wearing or sometimes if I have a really really red zit, I've been able to use the adjusters. You can use this on the under eyes. I mostly prefer just the adjusters on the under eyes, the salmon shade in particular to help with the blue, but it is a little more thick. It's a little bit more dry. Definitely don't recommend using this as your under eye concealer. But for zits, I've really enjoyed this. Slightly thick and dry for the under eyes, but beautiful for the face. four base products, foundation, skin tints to talk about. So, the first one that I have is from Kylie Cosmetics. I finally decided to purchase this because of all the good reviews I heard about it. This is the skin tint blurring elixir. I will have all the shades that I have down below, but this is 2.5N. And you know what? I see the hype of this. This is not tinted though, okay? This gives a true medium coverage. It's very hydrating, very milky with a very acceptable amount of wear time. It feels really comfortable. It's definitely a product I recommend for dry skin. and your skin will love this. So, super duper solid. I really do like this. And I'm trying to think like it stands out to me even though it's not a skin tint. It does stand out to me in my foundations as something light, medium coverage, very comfortable, very hydrating. So, this is pretty good. I would say it's worth the hype. And then I've been testing this stick foundation from Jones Road. It's the Your Skin Foundation Stick and it really does look like skin. This isn't the creamiest foundation stick out there. you like it's a little sticky, so you have to work it out. So, if you don't like a foundation stick that's a little sticky, you're not going to enjoy this. The pros of this, it truly looks like skin. Very natural, light to medium side of coverage. Okay, wear time, not the best wear time. I prefer the shade warm linen for myself, by the way. It's an okay foundation stick. What stands out to me about this is it does have one of the most skin-like finishes I have ever seen in a foundation, but I don't love the way it feels or applies. And the wear time on this isn't incredible, but it's a great running out the door quick errands kind of product. Now, another stick foundation that I've been trying is the reformulation of the Lancome Ultrawar Shape Stick, which they also sell in like contour shades as well. This is the opposite of the Jones Road in that it's almost a little too slippery on the face. Overall, I do really like this foundation stick. I enjoyed the original formula and I don't really notice too much difference between the two. The only thing I'll say about this is it does somewhat sit on top of the skin. I don't feel like it melts into the skin, but if you take the time, you push it in, you put it with other products that you enjoy. This is really great. It lasts a long time, but I don't necessarily recommend it for oily skin because I do worry that it will slip and slide all over your face. It's definitely not something I go to for long wear, but for quick, easy application that pretty much blends itself, I do recommend this. And then the last foundation that I have is from NYX. This is the Makeup Wonder soft matte buildable foundation, which this is the second time it's in a speed reviews. But I wanted to update you because I did pick up a shade that's a little bit better for me. And when I have a foundation that's too light for me, it does emphasize dryness a little bit more. So, I got a more color appropriate foundation. So, I just want to update you. I definitely like it a little bit more. It's a nice lightweight matte foundation. It's very good from the left side of Ulta. I don't want to necessarily call this affordable because NYX is pretty expensive nowadays. But if you have dry skin and are looking for something that's lightweight and matte for the skin that's on the drugstore side of Ulta, this one's pretty good. Is it my all-time favorite matte foundation on my skin? No. But for the affordable side, it's very, very nice. I will enjoy and continue to use this. Also, the wear time on it is very, very good. Three concealer products. So, this first one is a color corrector from Too Faced. And yes, they're really that small. I thought this was just a sample size in PR. This is the Born This Way Super Coverage Brighten and Correct Concealer. So, you can use this alone as concealer, which I'll do sometimes, or you can use it underneath as a color corrector. This is phenomenal. It gives full coverage, and I do actually like this on its own, but it does color correct. I prefer the pink for brightening and the cool peach for when I want to uh erase my blue circles, but no, this is incredible. I really love these. So creamy, so hydrating, very full coverage, and does the job of color correcting. So, it wears really good, too. Like, nothing but good things to say about this. Another product that I've tried is New from Dibs, and this is really awesome. It's been really great for quick mornings. This is their official name. Why can I not remember the name of it? But it's like a dual-sided stick concealer. So, one side is actually a brightener, a light pink shade, and then the other shade is going to be your true skin tone shade. I like the shade 140. So, this I don't recommend for like full coverage days. If you wear a liquid foundation, this is going to look a little dry on the under eyes. You can tell it's complete different mediums. But if you are just quick in the morning wanting to brighten, color correct some blue tones, just a little bit of evening out. I really, really enjoyed this. It's not the creamiest stick I've ever used, but it does last a long time. You can absolutely make it work. All right. And then I've also been testing this one from Jane Eyerdale. This is their Skin Intuition Brightening Under Eye Concealer. I think that this is fantastic for mature under eyes. It's a more plush consistency. It's very, very hydrating. It does crease like a little bit, but it's flexible, so you can almost just kind of blend it right out. It doesn't dry down and look dry and just like sink into the fine lines. It's a very flexible formula. I would say it gives about a medium coverage. Honestly, I've really enjoyed this. It feels very hydrating on my under eyes, which I really enjoy. But I think the give and take with that is it doesn't dry down into the fine lines, but it will travel into the fine lines, but if you just blend it out, it's it's amazing. I really actually do like this concealer. It's definitely lighter and less coverage than their is it true match or pure matte? Their pure match concealer, which I have right next to me because I use that one all the time. This might seem a little out of order, but this is just how I applied it. I hate a cream highlighter. I do. I picked this up in a set from Nordstrom from the anniversary sale. This is the highlighter stick and it came with the lit up shade and when I used it in the video like it was one of the better cream highlighters that I've used. That said, like today it made my makeup really patchy. It's been a little hit or miss with this. I don't understand why and how so many people love a cream highlighter. It always breaks my makeup. This just looked weird and Vaseline broke up my makeup today and other days, but I've also had days where it has agreed with my base more and it did it did look nice. Anyways, for this price point, I'm not dealing with inconsistencies, so it's just not my favorite. Let's get to the fun category now. Blush. So, we'll start off with creams and liquids. This first formula that I've been testing is from Narts. It's the Insatiable Liquid Blush. And these shades are really beautiful, but I don't notice anything really special about this formula. It's not a bad formula by any means. And actually, it does smooth over the cheeks. So, on days when my foundation is just looking a little bit dry or uneven or not smooth on the skin when I put this over top, it does kind of smooth it down and make my face look much more hydrated. So, I will give it that. But, I'm just All blushes are good now. It's hard to create a bad blush formula. And I think for this being Nars, it's not amazing like it should be. The pigment kind of goes away a little bit too easily as well. like you kind of have to really build it up, which might be a good or bad thing for you. It just depends. But it's not a bad formula. I've enjoyed using it, but I also don't think it's like worth buying a bunch of shades for or if you have a lot of blushes already, you need to go out and buy this. You You don't It's not special. It's good, but not special. That said, like I do really like it. And one thing that does stand out a lot about it is the color range is gorgeous. It really is. So that is kind of the standout for me about that. Then I've been testing these and I've had mixed opinions because I really love it some days and then some days it's like a little patchy. These are from Kosas. What's the official name of this? It will be on the screen. It's not on the packaging, but it's these blush sticks. So, first of all, the shades here, they have one of my all-time favorite blush shades. Intuition is just this gorgeous freaking color. And then what's the other one? Where is it? It's nuance. Like these two blush colors are so unique. Love these. But the whole range super duper bold pigmented colors. So if you have like a deeper complexion, you're going to love these color options. Intuition, nuance. These are the most pretty colors for me. Vital, vibration, muse, ripe, and surreal. So my thing with these is I feel like these apply a little patchy. So sometimes the application is great, but I feel like it's so so pigmented that I only want to lightly touch it with my brush. And so when I put it on the skin, since I've only lightly touched it, it only is a little patch of color and it's hard to blend that color out. So either if I cover the surface area of my brush with this formula, I get too much pigment. And then if I don't, then I get too little and it kind of messes up my makeup. So I've had mixed opinions on this because some applications are really great and some are not. So I like it. I don't love it. I really like the colors more than anything else. Uh, but I have found even though I like these colors and I said the Nars is okay, I am more likely to reach for the Nars over these just because I know the application with Nars is a little bit more reliable. I feel bad because I did super recommend these on first impressions because that was one of the great applications that I had. But as I've used it more, especially with the more bold shades, I've noticed I had trouble blending it out. But that's the point of these speed reviews, right? And then from House Labs, I have the Glossy Blush Balm in the shade Ginger. Now, this was not a new product. It was just a new shade to me, and I I wanted to share it with you because look how pretty and natural that is. Now, this gives a really wet, dewy look. It's very high quality, but I just go into this knowing that I want a more of a glossy skin look, but I do love this color. It's not a new formula at all. It was just a new color to my collection and it was worth putting in my speed reviews drawer just to share this with you. And then I also have this from Laura Mercier. It's pretty new. This is the Bond Glow Cream Face Palette. And these are an interesting like balmy formulation. They say it dries down to powder. I disagree with that, but they definitely have a softer application and it's not like a very wet balmy texture. So, I do really like the bronzer because it's really soft and it looks natural in the way that it blends in. And you'll see that in the application portion. The blush is okay. There's other blushes I prefer. I don't really love the highlight. It's okay, but sometimes I feel like it breaks up the makeup a little bit. So, I don't even really risk using it too often. I don't think this is worth the money. I got it in PR, so I didn't have to spend my money on it, but if I did, or my friend did, I would probably recommend my friend return it. It's not that good. Then, we have these babies from Hard Candy. These are the blush on lock cream and powder duos. Definitely inspired by Patrick Ta. I did a whole video on that and these were included. So, these are very good. I mean, for how affordable they are. This feels a little bit more balmy, the cream blush, but honestly, it applies pretty nice and it has decent wear time as well. The highlight feels a little chalky. It's more of like a glowy blush. Not really a highlight. feels a little chalky and powdery, which I don't love, but you get much more pigment than you expect with this. And it's not like glittery or metallic on the cheek. It's actually quite pretty. I think these are nice. I can tell they are a more affordable product. The quality does read affordable, but also it works and it gets the job done. Caught blushing royal flush main character toast me. So, I like these. I don't love them though. I don't know that I would really like I would not feel the need to purchase more colors if there were more. If that tells you anything, they're solid, but not like a mustave. But you know what is a mustave? If you Oh, but you know what is a must have? If you ask me, these blushes from Morphe. I did a whole video dedicated to these. That's how good they are. The official name is the Cloud Light Soft Glow Diffuse Blush. I mean, completely airbrushed application. These look so soft on the skin. You can layer these over cream. You can use them on their own. These are one of the best products from Morphe ever. One of the best blushes on the drugstore site that has launched, even though it's kind of expensive, but it is still considered, oh my gosh, with how prices are going, it still is considered affordable. So, the shades are really beautiful as well. Just wish they would have made more like neutral nude shades, but here they are. Fluff, twist, wisp, breeze, drift, whirl, rush. The shade fluff is absolutely gorgeous. I recommend it. And then this is from the new limited edition Lion collection from Shantaai. I love this blush formula. So this is their cheek shade in lion. And you guys know how I feel about Shantaai. Like especially with this packaging, do not purchase this full price. But I do love this powder blush formula. It just applies really seamless on the skin. And this particular shade, it's a little bold. Like I feel like it would look great on medium complexions. It would be such a natural rose on medium complexions. And with a light hand, it's a very natural flushed look on my skin tone as well. It's just a new shade to me. And I think it's very beautiful. It looks like a you just went for a run kind of color. Not worth the full price. Definitely not. There are other things in the collection that I don't want to say are worth the full price, but they're much more worth it. This one is not, but the formula is good if you ever get a chance to try these. And now on the kind of opposite end of price point here, I have some of the new Essence Cheek Palettes. So, this first one is the Sunub Matte Bronzing Palette. bands. I liked it at first, but I do think for daytoday it's much warmer than I normally want. So, I use this on my eyes and it looks straight up orange on my eyes, but it is a bronzer palette. Um, I've been mixing between these two shades and there is a time and a place for a very warm bronzer, but it's just not the daily for me. So, I've liked it. I haven't loved it. The formula itself is fine, but I didn't end up loving this as much as I thought I would have. Am I disappointed? No. It's very affordable, but it's just not my go-to for colors for myself. And then they did also launch these Hourglass dupes. These are the Radiant Light Face Palettes. And again, you'll have to check out that dupes video to see how these compare. I mean, these are dupes of Hourglass. The shades are similar, but I don't think the formulas are, if I'm being honest. Now, to the naked eye, you can't tell the difference from side to side with these and Hourglass. And I prefer the Hourglass, but you know what? These are on their own. These are a nice product, especially for the price point of these. The bronzer blends out really nicely. This blush shade is a bit chalky. Like, it's not a perfect palette, but they get the job done. So, they're not my favorite powders. Drugstore affordable or not in in the similar price point. These are not my favorite powders, but they also aren't that bad. So, it's good. It's worth the money. It's worth the price. And then a highlight palette that I've been using. It's fairly new, but I'm very familiar with this formula at this point because I don't have a lot of other highlights to use. So, I've been using this one a lot recently. This is the RMS Beauty Redimension Daily Glow Palette. This looks smack like the Dior, doesn't it? And it's just not as good as the Dior. Please go ahead and get the Dior over this one. This one is fine. It can give a pretty highlight glow, but it it looks a little powdery to me at times, and it's just not as silky smooth. Then you can even see it in this swatch. And this looks fine. It works fine. But like it's kind of expensive and you can get a lot better formulas right now for a similar price point. I just skipped this blush. So we're going back to blushes. This is the last blush. These babies from Bare Minerals. These are the Gen Nude Doin One Cheek and Lipstick. And you know what? These are really nice. The packaging is pretty cheap. These ones are very, very, very dewy. If you do not like a dewy cheek, you will not like these. I demoed the shade Call My Blush, but here are the other shades. Call My Blush, Just Peachy, Brick It On, Bury Me in Merllo. You know what? I like these. These apply really nice and smooth. You can also double these on the lips. They'll have a nice glow. I've preferred this for days that I've worn like tinted moisturizers, just something lighter, something where I'm going for that really fresh, dewy look. It looks odd when I pair it with a liquid foundation. I find one that's a little bit more on the satin to matte side. But if the base is dewy, this melts right in. It is very high quality. I would set it with a powder, especially if you have oily skin. I will say that it can slip and slide a little bit. It can fade a little bit, but if you set it with a powder, all your problems are solved. Again, natural everyday day. Again, a natural everyday makeup look. I don't set this and it works just fine for me. I also don't really struggle with longevity. So, keep that in mind. But I like these. These are really nice. Just if you're oily, set with a little bit of powder, which you probably should be doing anyways. And then lastly, this is so so so good from Essence. This is the Glow Like Honey Serum Spray. And you can see I've used a good amount of it already. Uh, so you definitely want to mix it up. This is a partner in the collection with the Glow Like Honey Primer, but I like this a lot more. It smells really nice. Very like a subtle sweet honey, but it most importantly finishes off my makeup and makes my skin look nice and hydrated. So, if I'm looking a little powdery, it does not taste sweet like the primer, but if I'm looking a little powdery, I really feel like this does a unique job of settling in the makeup in a nice way and hydrating it and just bringing it back to life. Some sprays they work, some sprays they don't. This is one that I do feel like not only does it hydrate the skin on the spot, but you if you saw like the serum layer here, I feel like that kind of sits on top of the skin and it gives longer hydration than a hydrating setting spray that kind of hydrates when you apply it, but then it just once it dries, you're back to where you started with. This is one where I feel like the serum sits on the skin or the oil or whatever it is, and it continues to hydrate the skin throughout the day. So, this is a very, very special product and the price point of it is absolutely incredible. So, that's all I have for complexion. As you know, with these very large speed reviews, I like to break them up into two and post these videos back to back just to give you guys a break, me a break, give my editor a break, and especially, I know some people really only care about like lip products, some people only care about complexion.
