It is time for a speed review. Ladies and gentlemen, I have 30 new products from the drugstore that I have been testing multiple times with multiple wear tests, pairing them with multiple products, using multiple techniques, and I am ready to give you my final review on these 30 products. If you're new to my channel, this is a series I've done over the last few years. And it is my promise where if you see me use a product, you will see me update you after I've tested it many, many times. Every product that I try goes into the drawer that is sitting in front of me, which by the way got really, really crazy. And it literally stays in this drawer until I've thoroughly [snorts] tested it. So, I basically forced myself to literally fully review these products that I try on my channel, sometimes against my will. But anyways, today's theme is going to be affordable products since the last speed reviews I did was Sephora products and we have some hits, we have some misses. This intro was not speedy, but these reviews will be. Let's get into it. [music] So, the first product that I have is a cushion foundation from L'Oreal. This is the L'Oreal Infallible Cushion Foundation. I really, really enjoy this foundation. It has kind of a satin finish to it, so it's not super glowy, but it also isn't super matte. It's very comfortable on the skin. What I really like about it is I feel like it gives a true medium coverage, but it gives a lot more coverage than product is needed. So, it's a little goes a long way style of product. And I said in my video, I prefer to use a regular brush, but you guys were like, please give this cushion a chance. And like I still hate this because it's just not as flexible. But I will admit it does really allow you to spread the foundation really thin across the face, which in return will make the makeup look less makeupy and more skin-like. And I've been really impressed with this. I mean, if you ask me, this functions like a high-end Korean cushion foundation that I've tried in the past. So, I'm really happy with this. I definitely recommend this if you're looking to getting into cushion foundations. I really think L'Oreal did a fantastic job with this and I think it's going to work for all skin types. Now, I don't have like a lot of complexion like base based products, but of course, we do have a lot of cheek products. So, we're going to start off with bronzers. So, I have three. The first one is a liquid bronzer from ColourPop. The correct name of these is the weightless liquid bronzer. And baby, they are weightless. They're very, very liquidy, but a little goes a long way. They actually have quite a lot of color. It's not too pigmented. It's very easy to work with, but it's very liquidy and it spreads almost like powder over the skin, which I know is really unique, but I really love this. So, this is another product where you only need a little bit because it will spread very far, but it dries almost like a powder and looks pretty airbrushed. So, for shades, West Beach is going to be a little bit cooler. So, this is what I'll use when I want more of like a neutral color around the face. And when I want truly warm, I'm going for a true bronze, I'll use Sunset Beach because this one does have more of a true warmth to it. But this is a fabulous bronzer. It really does feel lightweight. And for me, ColourPop can be hit or miss, but this is definitely a hit from them. Another great bronzer that I've been testing is from Morphe. This is the Cheek Thrills Bronze and Tone Duo in Capri Cabana. I specifically and intentionally picked one of the lightest shades for me because I've been liking a really, really natural, not too far off from my skin tone bronzer. And I think this shade is perfect. It's not too warm, it's not too cool. This bronzer, the cream side, is not going to give you a ton of pigment. So, just be careful about that when it comes to choosing your own shade. But, it does blend in nice and easily. And then I love how the powder bronzer isn't too pigmented and it doesn't stick to the cream too much. And I do think what is also helpful with that is the fact that I chose such a light shade. But this is solid. Like I don't notice anything super special or standing out about these formulas, but they are super duper solid and it gets the job done. Of course, this is a play on the Patrick Ta with the cream and then the powder on the bottom. And I think they did a really really nice job. And this shade I like better than any other shade that I have from Patrick Ta. Formula wise, I do think Patrick Ta is a little bit better, but color-wise, I'm all about the Morphe. And price point wise, of course, I have from the new Soft Glam line from E.L.F. we have the Soft Glam Cream Bronzer. I've been using the shade light medium. Very, very solid. There's like not too much to say about it. It's a cream bronzer. It gives a good amount of pigment and it blends easily. And then I really like the shade that I have. And then there's also the blushes as well. These seem to be the same formula to me. I demoed the shade pink on it which does give a nice creamy glow to the skin. And then I also have the shade muted mauve. Now I saw a lot of people saying that these are dupes of road. I disagree with that. I think the road is a little more creamy and it has a lot more pigment to it. So these don't remind me of the road even though people say they are. But it's a really nice solid cream formula. I don't have any complaints about these. I think these are great options from the drugstore from the left side of Ulta. You know, they're definitely u more affordable, but E.L.F. is um getting up there with the price points, but these are solid. If there's colors that you'll like, I think you'll like these. These do everything you would want a cream product to do. Let's talk an underrated product that I haven't seen many people talk about. I was really surprised by this product. These are the Vers Everything Balms. So, you can put these on the lips and on the cheeks, but I think these look really juicy and plump and youthful on the cheeks. And I do not like a balm product most of the time, but this is a very nice balm product. I find that it doesn't look too different from the base I apply. So, with a lot of balms, I find it looks balmy against my foundation and it doesn't mesh in well to look natural. It looks like way too different finishes. But this kind of melts into the skin as you can see. And it loses that balm, but it'll give you that hydration of a balm. So, I just love the way that it melts into my foundation. It looks really seamless, but it continues to be hydrating like a balm should, and it just looks really juicy. Of course, if you don't love a glowy cheek, you're not going to enjoy this. But, as a balm cheek hater, I really like these. This is actually a really nice play on the Jones Road. It's different than the Jones Road, but I like these better than the Jones Road balms. I have a couple powder blush formulas. The first one is from Beauty Creations, which is one of my new favorite up andcoming affordable makeup brands, but unfortunately, their marble blush I wasn't a fan of. I got the whole collection sent to me, and I only ended up holding on to Pink Romance because I only needed one shade to decide that this wasn't a formula for me. It's just too metallic. So, when I put it all over my cheek, I find that it emphasizes bumps and it just makes my face look dry and textured. It's not a flattering finish on my skin type because it is very, very metallic. So, I think there's a time and a place. I do think there's definitely a person out there who would love it, but too metallic for me. And then quite on the opposite side of finish, but it's a really solid blush formula, we have from Krice, the soft blur powder blushes. And these are $6. You can't beat it. I don't think there's anything crazy unique or special about these formulas. These are just a powder blush, you know? It's not the creamiest. It's not the easiest to blend on formula I've ever used. But I also wouldn't say I've had a bad experience with these. I can think they can be a bit harsh sometimes. You do have to blend them out a little bit, but for $6, the color that you see is the color that you get. My favorite shade if you want a recommendation is Bury Me Later. I think this is going to be the perfect winter blush because it gives that nice coat. I've been out in the snow look. My suggestion if you're going to use these for the best application, you want to get a brush that is not dense. The M202 from Morphe is really nice or from BK Beauty Niculara Rose N20. If you use a brush that's really soft to pick up the powder, so it won't be patchy or pick up too much pigment, you will enjoy this blush formula. The majority of these shades, they are true matte, but they also have the shade Born to Blondes, which does have a little bit of a glow. But overall, these are solid powder formula, and for $6, I mean, there's not much bad to say about them. I have a couple loose powders. Both happen to be from E.L.F. and this is one of the best powders of the year, truly. This is the E.L.F. Set it bright correcting and brightening setting powder duo. This is everything Given used to be before they reformulated it. Now, keep in mind, I mean, it's not the exact same as Givveni, but it definitely was inspired by, and I think they did a great job with their inspiration. It's very, very thin. It's lightweight and extremely blurry. This actually like it's up there with my favorite hooded beauty powder and it's a fraction of the price point. I think E.L.F. killed it. This is truly one of my favorite products that they've launched in years. It is one of those products where the price point doesn't reflect the quality in the way that this is better than like high-end and luxury powders. So, um, this one is totally worth it if you can get your hands on it. They do a pretty good job with their powders. The other powder that they have is the Halo Glow Setting Powder. Now, this is not new, but it was new to me. I've used it a few years ago and they repackaged it and so I repurchased it and I didn't even really remember I wanted to refresh my brain. So, that's why I'm readding it again. And I got the shade light pink which truly does brighten. However, I did demo it. I don't recommend to use it on the under eyes because there is a very subtle glow to it and it's like a subtle glow from within. It's not so obvious, but when you put it on a very textured area like the under eyes, you can see it it took away what the first setting powder, the E.L.F. Set it Bright did and it kind of showed a little bit of texture. But I think this is beautiful not for the under eyes, but all over the face. Especially if you do like a little bit of a subtle glow. Think Hourglass. I mean, this isn't up to the caliber of Hourglass, but for the price point, it's very, very good. And it just does achieve the idea of it does set the makeup, but it doesn't make it completely flat. So, I like this. I think it's nice. I just wouldn't use it on my under eyes. And then the last powder that I have is from Krice. Krice Essence. I mixed them up, but they're both doing a great job this year. But this is such a good powder. This is the soft blur airbrush powder. So, make sure when you buy, you know, if you want matte, you get the word matte. My white one has broken, but I do like this for the under eyes. I don't recommend to use this to set the under eyes. Use a loose setting powder and then you can use this over top to brighten the area and add some extra color. It is blurring, but it's not going to be as blurring as a loose setting powder. But I think these are great for touch-ups all over the face or finishing up, but not necessarily as the actual setting powder. And then, for example, because you know these pink powders are really popular, they do have pink luminance. and you see the word matte is missing. It's because it's quite glowy. I think this is a great transition from highlight to the under eye if you do that transition blush situation. But do know that some of the shades do have a true luminosity to them which I think is really beautiful. But like be careful if you put this on the under eyes by accident because it is glowy. Anyways, those are beautiful powders and they are nice and blurring. They're not going to be as blurring as loose setting powders, but they're great for touching up, adding color, blending the face. So, I like those to finish off with and just it's that extra step, you know, that makes a big difference in the makeup at the end to show that you really took the extra time and it's worth the extra time. It really is. And then the last product that I have from complexion is the Milani Make It Last Micro Fine Mist. I love this. I think this is the best alternative to the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray that I found, which is my all-time favorite. This is like the less intense version. So, it doesn't make the makeup like last quite as long as the Charlotte Tilbury. The Charlotte Tilbury is the best, but this is about as close as it's ever come. It also has a much better mist. Something to keep in mind is the product can collect and get a little stuck here on the nozzle. So, I do recommend after every few uses to just take your finger there. There was a little film over it that was obstructing the super fine mist. So, I took my finger and there was that film. I took it off and then we were back in business. Cons, it does slightly burn. It's not a pleasant application. It's like hairspray. But, I do find that it does blur over my makeup and it does make it last longer and it does remind me a lot of what I love about the Charlotte Tilbury, just less intense. So, that's all I have for complexion. Let's move on to the eyes, which I have a little bit more than I've had in the past. I have three different brow products. So, ColourPop has recently revamped their brow line and they came out with the Brow Boss, which if you ask me, they are trying to replicate the amazingness that is Rare Beauty. And you know what? This is a solid brow gel, but it is not the Rare Beauty brow gel. Okay? It just doesn't hold my brows as well. I have brows that do like to fall. I think on a normal non really unruly brow and misbehaved brow, this will be fantastic for you, but Rare Beauty does it better, but this is still pretty good. They also redid their brow pencils. So, I've been testing the Brow Boss ash brown a little bit deeper, but I'll use this depending on the intensity of my makeup. If my makeup's a little bit more light and natural, this is closer to my true brow color, dark brown. These are okay. These to me seem to have a little bit of a blurred application and they also can wipe away a little bit too easy. So, I don't know. It's just something about it where I just don't get that full pigment that I'm expecting from this. It gets the job done. Like I've I had fine brows with this. But if I'm being very picky, which I am, I'm a makeup reviewer. These are too waxy. I think a better one and one of the finest tipped brow pencils on the affordable side of Ulta is the E.L.F. Micro Fine Brow Pencil. This one's very good and it's extremely extremely tiny if that's what you're into. I really like this one. I don't have any complaints. Like it is the smallest tip you'll find at the drugstore. So, that right there makes it a standout product. Uh it doesn't it's not as dry as I like. I like a nice dry pencil. Uh, again, leans a little too waxy, but that's me being very, very picky. It's fantastic, and it's the smallest tip you'll find. Okay, as you can see, since I've last done my speed reviews, in between here, I made very big E.L.F. orders. So, I thought I'd try these liquid eyeshadows from E.L.F., the liquid velvet eyeshadows. Seeing that liquid and stick eyeshadows are my I'm favoring them these last few couple of years. I'm obviously struggling to speak. Anyways, so I picked up two shades. Beige and bougie is a little bit lighter. Extra toasted a little bit deeper. I mean, these they impress me. They're pretty good. They're not as longasting as Makeup by Mario. I think if you have an oily eyelid, you might want to stay away from these. I don't struggle with longevity really with my eyelids, and these are fine, but they're definitely not the longest lasting I've dealt with. I have seen these crease on me. I think when I set with the powder that gets rid of the issue, but on their own they will crease but not enough to bother me because I can just run a brush over and blend it back out. But if you have oily eyelids, that's where I fear this product for you. But blends out really nicely, looks really good, gets the job done, just not the longest wearing, but good enough for me as someone that does not have an oily eyelid. Another product that I've been testing that really rivals some high-end options. This is their Glitch Show Shadow Stick. And I think they did a great job with this. It doesn't crease. I think sometimes it can look a little crackly and chunky, but so can the higherend ones. I think that's just the nature of this product. It's definitely more chunky than the Tower 28. The Tower 28 just dries down truly like a powder. This one quite doesn't, but it's absolutely gorgeous. You can get a lot of pigment from this and have it very strong. I chose to soften it and blend it out, but I think this is really, really nice quality for the price point here. Next up, ColourPop added six new shades to their Supershock shadow line. And you know what? They're okay. They're pretty. I don't have anything bad really to say about them. They're going to be pretty lid toppers. The majority of these new shades, they lack a base, which I think all of them kind of look the same because they're sheer with the glimmers, just subtle differences. But here are the shades. Pink icing 11 scoops. Barely trying. Low up, fairy coated, unhinged. But I just I feel it is my civic duty to mention this that these have changed over the years. They're not as good as they used to be. I used to have so many amazing Supershock shadows that had this really beautiful thick pigmented color all over the eyelids. All of them now just are so lid toppery, which I like lid topper, but I also liked those really thick creamy colors that they just don't seem to have anymore. So, they've definitely changed the formula. And I think there's too many lid toppers. They all look the same because they don't have pigmented bases. Like the formula, but the range I'm not loving, if that makes sense. Next up, we have these guys from Beauty Creations, which I dubbed as a um Fenty dupe. These are the Flawless Stay Shimmer Veils, which are not a style product that I would go for typically. So, I use them on my eyelids. But, if you get a big old kabuki brush, you can put this all over your body. If you go to like a concert or you just like glitter like Edward Cullen, this is the product for you. I almost dropped it. There are six different shades. It has this putty consistency. You don't need all six shades. And it's a little slick, but it does feel and function like the Fenty Beauty, but these crease on the eyelids. They're just a little too oily. So, the most that I would use this product would be on the eyes, and they're not they're not really great on the eyes. They'd be just fine on the body. Uh but yeah, on the eyes, it did end up being a fail, unfortunately. I wanted to say that this one was a Fenty dupe, but it just it's too wet on the eyelid. All right, so there was a big color addition to the Panorama family here from L'Oreal. And as promised, I said you would eventually see me trying the different colors. So, three different colors. Brown leather, which is brown, of course, burgundy, cashmere, and then there's blue suede, blue, navy, which are supposed to enhance eye colors. I've used the brown plenty of times. So, today I broke out the burgundy and the blue. I've tried them a couple other times, but I thought I could be cool and make those colors work for me, but I can't. I just prefer either brown or black. But in these three shades, we have the hot color crayon coals, which actually are a very nice formula. They don't have the best longevity, but they're very easy to smoke out and work with. And then you can also set with powder if you do want that longevity. But I've been really happy with these cool eyeliners. They're very, very dry, but in a good way. I think you have a lot of control, and they're very easy to get that smoked out look with. I like this on the upper. I did use them on my waterline today, which they surprisingly have decent wear time for. But on the upper, I went in with the Hot Precision Liquid Eyeliner, which liquid eyeliners I'm not as into these days. I just don't like that really precise, defined line nowadays. But these are a little chunky and a little patchy. They're okay, but I find they come off really easily with my lash curler. And I had to keep layering the blue. The blue I noticed is particularly patchy, but they're okay. Not my favorite liquid liner formula that I've ever tried, but I didn't really reach for them to be honest. And then the mascara. This is a mascara formula that I love and I love a black mascara. So, I didn't end up loving using these colors. I did today. Well, I love the formula. We're just talking about the colors here. I have burgundy on this eye, blue on this eye. Which one do you think is more flattering for my eye color? I I think that the burgundy looks really nice. I don't love the look of blue. It's just not my favorite, but I I actually could get down with the burgundy. I do like the burgundy uh color combo here, but like it's very intentional if I do these colors because on the daily I'm not going to grab for them. I have to make the decision, which I haven't very often. Uh but overall, the range I think is nice and the colors are cool, but you can't get me out of my comfort zone when it comes to liner and mascara. But the option is there. I could skip out on the liquid liner, though. That is like my two cents there. Okay, let's move on to lips. This is a find, let me tell you. I was not expecting this. I almost put this in my giveaway bin, but on a whim, I tried the ELF Skin Thirst Burst Plump Tide Lip Treatment, and you know, super fatigued when it comes to these products. Really don't care about lip products too much right now. Not that interested, especially with these kinds of products. But this is in the shade Sheer Grappa. The shade doesn't matter. This is extremely hydrating. What I like about this that's different from other brands that I've tried is it's actually a little bit sticky, but it that actually makes it last and hydrate throughout the day. And this feels amazing and rich and lush on the lips. I like this way, way better than their lip gloss tube version that they have. I think this one's supposed to be a little bit more true to skin care routine as opposed to the other ones which is like lip gloss lip balm hybrid. This is 10 times better. So good. What a great find. This actually hydrates. There is no frills to this. Like I feel like they just have a good formula in here. I tried a couple new flavors of the squishy glaze from CoverGirl, and this is another product where I wasn't excited to try it, but it ended up being amazing. I think this is the best butter balm formula at the drugstore, and it has some of the most amazing flavors. So, flavor-wise, we got chocolate chip cookie dough and then a fudge brownie. I don't love the color of fudge brownie on myself. Obviously, if you have a deeper complexion, this is going to be an amazing nude on you, but the flavors are pretty good. I don't notice too much of a difference between the two. The chocolate chip cookie dough is a little bit more caramelly. You know what? No. Fudge Brownie is pretty chocolatey. I don't know. I like these. I didn't love them. The other flavors I like a little bit more, but these are they're yummy. They do have the best flavors. I picked up the E.L.F. Mainstain lip marker even though I'm a lip stain hater, but this color looked so good. I had to try it. Beige beige. And I ended up not loving this because it turns warm. The color literally changes as it dries down. So, it starts off this beautiful beige color. Um, I've had it sitting on its side, but it's a beautiful beige color. And by the time it fully dries, it's really warm, especially once it hits the lips. So, you'll get that nice beige color on the outskirts of the lips, like right around the skin where you would overline, but if you accidentally touch your lips, it's a complete different berry color, which is the case with most lip markers. So, you do have to be careful about that. But, it's like so berry colored when it hits my lips. And then also as it sets on the hands, it becomes really, really warm. So, I didn't end up loving this. It's fine if you like the color it turns into, but I didn't get the color that I was wanting. I'm on the hunt for the most true actual beige lip marker. Um, the hunt continues. I found a pretty good one at Sephora collection, though. I'll have to talk about that. I don't think I have. But anyways, the next lip liner that I have is not a stain by any means. In fact, it barely lasts. These are the Color Ree anti-feathering lip liners from L'Oreal. I like these, but these have bad longevity. Like, lack of longevity. These don't last long at all. But it's a shame because the colors are so so good. Worth It Medium is a great dupe of Pillow Talk Medium, which is one of my all-time favorite lip liners. So, I've actually been reaching for Worth It Medium a ton because it's my lip color, but better. But I do notice with these, they don't last very long. Worth it intense, worth it, worth it medium, lasting plum, all natural. So great, great, great color. So not just worth it medium. All natural is fantastic. Worth it is fantastic. The range is incredible. If you love the rosy lip liner that's very natural and flush looking, but you will need to reapply these, which a lot of times the point of lip liner is to like make lips last longer. This one's not good at that. So, I mean, even though I like these, I struggle to recommend them because they don't last a long time, but I really like the colors, so I just reapply it. I have two blurred lip products. So, the first one's from CoverGirl. These are the Clean Fresh Yummy Blurs. Blur the lines perfectly blurry into the blur. Blur and pink. Can't remember blur. And I didn't really love these in my initial review because they're not really great at blurring if I'm being honest. They're fine lipsticks. I've actually enjoyed these. Not expecting to get the most blurring product. So, what they claim to do, it's not as fantastic, but they're nice like matte lipsticks. So, they don't give a ton of pigment because of that blurred formulation, but they give just enough color to the lips. and I like the colors that they have. So, not super blurring, but they are pretty soft matte lipsticks that don't feel too drying or too thick on the lips. And then a product that's very similar, but in my opinion, did a better job are these Life's Blur soft matte blurring lipsticks from Ulta Beauty Collection. Now, they're repackaging these. So, you can't get these right now, which is a shame because I found a fantastic dupe for a YSL lipstick that I love, but I can't I can't recommend it yet because I don't know. I think the caps fell off too easily and they're repackaging it. Blurred and unbothered. Blur of the moment. Blink and blur in a blurry. Blur me later. So many blur words. Many blurs. I'm not having any issues, but these are incredible. They are way more blurring than the CoverGirl, and I love the shades, and they last a long time, and they're soft matte, so they're not super duper drying. They're obviously not like lip balms by any means, but these are a lip blur done right. And then I like the thinner packaging on my smaller lips. But I wanted to update you that they actually took these off the shelves because there was issues with the packaging. So, they're repackaging these. They will be back. and I need them to be back fast because those are a phenomenal find. Phenomenal affordable find. Two more products. We're now edging into the glossier side of things. So, I have the color color girl. Covergirl clean fresh yummy big oil stick. These are big big AF and I hate that. So chunky for what you like. This takes up half your purse. This won't fit in your pocket. I just don't see the point of these. And they're weird. They are like an oil stick for the lips. So, they are hydrating. They do add a little bit of a glow, but just so unnecessary. I can't I can't get behind this on the packaging alone. They're pretty on the lips. They don't last. No, this this is a dumb product. It's hydrating. It adds a little bit of color. It's great for just like a quick little pickme up fix up for the lips, but there's so many other products that also do it. The the packaging is stupid. Next up, let's go. We have the Essence. What the fake plumping lip gloss? I mean, these are just a plumping lip gloss option at the drugstore. I don't notice anything really unique about these. They they're they're smooth, they're plush, they burn. So, do keep that in mind. Not horribly so, but if you can't stand the feeling of that plumping, burning sensation, this is not for you. Not the glowiest, not the shiniest, not the most plumping, not the stickiest. like it's like in the middle and I would say they're worth their price point, right? They get the job done, but I don't notice anything super special about these. Boom. And there we did it. 30 affordable makeup products speed reviewed for you.
