I Snuck Onto The Love Island Season 8 Reunion Pink Carpet! | BiancaReneeToday

I snuck on to the Love Island reunion pink carpet. Was not supposed to be there. Total accident, but it worked out. It was so much fun. And I got to meet the entire Love Island USA cast from season 8. Some people were really chill. Some people were a little standoffish. And it might not be who you think. Let's get into it with a little story time. If you're new here, I'm Bianca Renee. You're watching Bianca Renee today. And I usually talk about natural hair, curly hair, but I do have an obsession with Love Island. I've watched it since 2020, but went back and watched UK, USA, Australia. I'm in there. I'm an OG. I'm not new to this like Love Island season 6 and 7 Entourage. Like, I expect movie night. I expect costume or and I expect dates. But I digress. So, this all started with me already being at Universal Studios. I was literally leaving the park and I was like, "Okay, maybe we'll just do Water World, stay a little bit longer." And as I'm walking to Water World and saying goodbye to people cuz we were leaving, someone was like, "Wait, what is that? What is that pink carpet? It says Love Island reunion." And I was like, "What?" >> Wait a minute. >> It's the reunion. What? >> It's the reunion tonight. So, I'm freaking out because I knew about the reunion because I actually applied to be in the audience for the reunion because they filmed the reunion like a month before they air it. And actually, let me look up the times if I could find it because the actual taping is like an all day thing. So, I was confused because they had all these fans at the gate, but I knew there was no way they're about to start this reunion at like 8:00 p.m. Okay, here it is. Here's the casting. We're looking for a huge Love Island fans to get a free invite to watch the reunion taping. There's three options to apply for. I don't remember the exact times, but I want to say the first option was like 9:00 a.m. to 300 p.m. and then like 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Like it was an all day taping. So, the fact that they're going to cut that down into 2 hours, it made me like, "No, I want to see it all." So once I see the carpet and I see people are like in stansions trying to see I was like well this is how my night's gonna end. I'm going to get in there. I just don't know how yet. So plot twist. Love Island reunion is happening here tonight. It's Peacock of course here at Universal. So now we all have to finesse our way in. >> Stand by. Stand by. >> So we're walking. The security guard goes, "Hey, if you guys want to go, like you you should stay here. They're going to let people in." We were like, "Oh, okay. Stay there." Then all of a sudden someone else comes and said, "Yeah, we're going to we're going to let people in. Go to the other side." So then we go to the other side and now a bunch of people are gathering. I'm like, "All right, it's time to finesse. It's time to make sure that we are in there." So I scan the area and I see where they're probably going to open it closest to the pink carpet. So I pull everyone like, "Okay, we got to stand right here. We got to be in the front. We got to look our best even though we just spent an entire day at Universal Studios sweating. Makeup is old from like 6:00 a.m. and it's hot. But we've come too far and we had to make it work. So now we're standing there, right? And I look across and I see them open the gate on the other side. I was like, who told us to come over here? I'm so upset. Now they already got their front spots. So we're still waiting. I'm like, "Hey guys, they're going to come over here." I hear them talking. They're talking about don't rush, don't run in. We're going to slowly choose people. So, I tell everybody to lock arms, right? When I move, you move just like that. So, then I see that main girl again and she's like, "Okay, um, so you you points to me and I'm like, "If you pick me, you pick my whole crew as well." So, we're all locked arms and we all walk in and next thing you know, we are inside ready to see all the Love Island cast. So, I'm used to suddenly being in places that I have no business being in all the time. But for my girlfriends, like this is kind of new to them. So, it was really exciting that they not only came originally to come to a curly master class with me and learn how to do their curls, they're also learning how to finesse, how to get next to celebrities, how to get the photo, and just became a great finessing experience. >> So proud of my girlfriend's first finesse. So glad we did it together. >> So now I'm asking, "Okay, who do you guys want to meet? Who's your favorite? Let's get you a photo." So we're waiting, waiting, waiting. And they start off with the Kasa boys. And at first I was like, "Who are these guys? Are these the guys that came up on the ship? Is that the guy that was like squatting Annayia? Then we see Cory. Cory's really nice. He's going up to everybody. We see G. People are excited for G. I guess he's walking around. Everyone's nice. Like they're probably really taking this in. Like they were on a couple episodes and now everyone knows who they are. Like it's a really crazy concept. So now they go on. Then we see Shawn and Beatatrice. Beatatrice looked beautiful. They weren't really like together, but they did kind of walk the carpet together. Sean was really nice and they definitely stopped to take photos with everybody. But then that same producer girl, whoever's running talent, she goes, "Hey, do you guys want to get closer?" And I was like, "Sure." She's like, "Follow me." My favorite words out of the entire crowd. She asked me if we wanted to go. So I rally up my girls. And now we walk out and now we're walking, walking, walking. And we're getting closer to the main carpet area. Now, let's talk about this main carpet area. This is actually a fake red carpet, pink carpet. This has nothing to do with the actual taping of the show. Turns out this carpet was just filmed so that they can get the pink carpet shots, but the reunion wasn't going to be filmed until the very next day. So, I was like, "Wait, wait, wait, wait." So, they're all dressed up, hair and makeup, just to take photos right now. And then they have to do this all again tomorrow. That reason alone, besides the obvious, is what I would not be on Love Island cuz they got to get ready every day. Like, they're used to it cuz they have to do it every day on the show. But full hair and makeup, I guess. So, here we are walking in closer and we can't believe like we are like really in here at this point. But notice there are actually no photographers. It's not a real pink carpet. They actually just had a flashing light that made it look like a bunch of paparazzi was taking photos of them, but there was no paparazzi. There were no cameras. It was literally like a fanfest where they just had a selected like standin audience to be there and clap and cheer when they said there was no press. It's truly a production. Now, let's get to the main cast. So now that we're over here, we have more time to like talk to the islanders because this is the last stop and they have more time to just talk. But now we're the last to see them because where we were was the beginning. So out of all the couples, only Casey and Titi walked together. Kenzie and Dylan, they also walked together. Interesting enough, Corbin and Pararma did not walk together. I did hear that they are broken up now, but I don't know if they were supposed to be broken up then, per se. I don't know. Parita looked gorgeous. She was next to the other Kasa girls after the Kasa boys. They were all nice. They all took pictures. So, let's talk about Corbin. Corbin is a personal fan favorite of mine. He started off, you know, a very Corbin GPT, but then he opened up. We saw his personality, and I always really liked Corbin. So, Corbin, >> I was excited to see him. He was one of the only people I wanted to see. He was really friendly. You could tell that he was like just hyped that people knew who he was. And this is like a whole new stardom. And he was really cool. He took time to talk to everybody. Everybody was going Melanie, can I get a kiss? And ladies, they were like making him say these catchphrases. And this is probably the first time that they're actually around like a whole bunch of their fans versus people that they just like meet out and about. So, it's crazy to hear people like give you catchphrases that you never even knew you had. Next, we can talk about Casey and Titi. You can't make me hate Casey. I'm sorry. According to threads, I'm a Casey defender. We don't have to get into it now, but I personally don't think the word disrespectful is the right word choice. Did he say some rude things that cost us? Sure. Is grandma the biggest diss? No. that the girls say much meaner things back at the villa. Yeah. When it came to heated between Titi and Serenity and Annayia, like it got really messy. I think everybody got a little too angry. They all apologized and I thought that was cool. So, I was rooting for Casey and Titi. They're my winners. I know some people are all me mad. So, I was really excited to see them. They did walk together. There tried to be some rhetoric online trying to say that Casey and Titi were rude. And they didn't want to take pictures with fans. No, no, no, no, no. Run the tape. They were cool. I told him that I've been fighting strangers on threads for him. >> I've been defending you all on my life. >> That's what I like to hear. >> He was cool. He stopped to take photos. The girl in front of me was kind of doing too much. Trying to make everybody do like her sorority symbol and everybody was confused and it took a lot of time away from all the other fans, but they still tried. They still did it. Titi, like she wasn't the most smiley, but after you get on a show and you come off and people are giving you all this hate, like how would you act if you knew everybody was talking mess about you and now for the first time you're about to be in a whole crowd of people that watch the show and you don't know if these people like you or if they're the people that were talking mess about you. Like, she doesn't deserve all the hate that she was getting. And if I were her, I'd be like a little nervous to be around fans, too. But even with that said, I think she looked gorgeous and she did stop and take photos. Exhibit A. So, leave my clients alone. Now, I'll say Kenzie and Dylan, they also talk to fans a lot. They were having full conversation. Super nice. Out of the core four, let's do a little rating. Who was the sweetest, most nicest, genuine out of them? I would say Melanie. Melanie was giving heartfelt hugs to people. Took time to talk to people. She said, "Of course, we'll take a photo." Like super sweet, super genuine. just as I thought she would be. So, I loved seeing Melanie. I would say out of the four, she was the most like genuine and sincere with the fans in the booth. Second, I would give it to Kada. Kada was also super like fun, very talkative, doing videos with people, taking photos, like listening to people's stories. Kada was also really cool. The people that talked the least, I would say, would be Trinity and Anniah. Now, Trinity being a winner, she was being pulled by production. Like, for people to say, "Oh, they didn't take pictures with me. they didn't do this. They didn't really have a choice. Like, it's still a show. It's still a production. They're being told where to go. So, they're like, "Hey, go interact with those fans over there. Okay, that's enough. Now, come over here and now go over there." And like, production is telling them where to go. So, if they didn't take a picture or stop in your section, it really wasn't their fault. They're being pulled left and right. And as the winner of the show, she actually kind of had like the least amount of time, probably because she was doing like interviews and had to get more solo shots. I saw the least interaction at least where I was. She could have talked to more people in the beginning of the carpet that I couldn't see. But once it came to like my section where I was, she really didn't have enough time to like truly hang out with everybody. But I do think she still stopped for photos at the beginning of the carpet. Annia, she was really nice. People asked for photos and she was like, "Hey everybody, sure." But I would say there wasn't like a lot of like back and forth like standing around conversation the way that like Kada and Melanie did. But once again, this is so new to everybody. Like imagine being a regular person and then you go on a show and you're stuck in this bubble in Fiji and you come back and now everybody knows not just who you are but your entire love life history with this person that you're talking to now. Like it's got to be the most drastic flip of a switch ever. So not everybody's going to be red carpet ready social media trained and how to interact with fans. Like this is a completely new territory. So, I don't think anybody was exactly like rude or I'm giving everybody grace for this being new to them and they were being pulled by production left and right. So, my assumption is when we watch the reunion tomorrow, you're going to see all this footage of the pink carpet and it's going to look like they took pictures, all this paparazzi was there, and then they walked into the studio and filmed this 2hour reunion. when in reality they walked the carpet the day before, got dressed, hair and makeup again, and then did like a 10-hour shoot the very next day. Insane. So, out of the entire cast, if I had to rate like most friendly, most talkative, most sincere, top to bottom, I would probably give the most fun and hype to Corbin. The most like so nice to meet you, hugged loving to Melanie. funnest girl. Probably Kenzie and Kada would be like a tie. Sincere, actually, we didn't talk about Sincere. Sincere was kind of there and then he wasn't. Like, I don't know if production never told him to go to the fans, but he was kind of in and out, but he also got a lot of hate. So, I feel like I'd be a little standoffish around people, too. Oh, another crowd favorite would be, of course, Carl. Carl was also very sweet, very kind, just as we thought. just as he is like on the show. That's who he is from what I got in those 10 minutes I was around him in person. So the most sweetest and genuine I would say Melanie and Carl. Gabriel. God talk about Gabriel. Gabe was smising all through the carpet. He was doing the little eyebrow thing. He was serving face. He's a very attractive man. So the ladies loved him. He was cool. He was very like suave mente though. Beatrice, Sean, Kenzie, and Dylan spent a lot of time talking to people, having conversations. I give them like most conversational. And then the people that I saw have the least amount of interaction, at least in my section. Could be totally different from the beginning, would be Trinity, Annayia, and Sincere. But nobody was rude and no one did anything wrong. Zach was cool. He definitely stopped to take photos and everything. He was kind of in and out, too. So, I feel like Zach and Sincere were kind of in and out. Bryce was really cool. He definitely took time to talk to fans, take photos, take videos. One of my friends that I was with really wanted to stay because she really wanted to meet Bryce. But unfortunately, she like had to go. It was getting late. We were there for a very long time. So, we asked Bryce. I wanted him just to say hi to her name. But when I gave the phone to my friend, she had him say, "Can you say I love you?" And then he responded with this. >> I love Alana. >> Hi. Hi, Alana. >> I only love Trinity. >> Okay. Okay. valid. I get it. So, this was all so random. After a full day of being at a theme park, we all had 5% on our phones at this point. We ended up borrowing a charger from some stranger behind us that was so kind enough to share with us. And I was ready to leave after I saw Corbin, Casey, and Titi. But I'm like, made it this far. I might as well see the core four. And I was holding on to like 2% of juice and I needed my phone to call an Uber home. It was a lot. It was stressful. But we got it done. My girls that wanted photos, we got the photos that they wanted with their favorite islanders. It was a successful random side quest that no one expected. >> Side quest on three. >> Core five. >> So, overall, if I do post this video on time, that means the reunion is going to be tomorrow on Peacock.
