Video summary

The creator announces that he is officially quitting his Paragon and Paragon Zombies content, clarifying immediately that this decision is not clickbait designed to lure viewers back into playing the games. He admits that he has not produced any new content for months nor does he intend to return to them in the future, effectively marking the channel as dormant except for archival purposes. While acknowledging that the Paragon Zombies titles are good games on their own merits, he explains that his enthusiasm had simply faded over time; playing them felt less like a passion project and more like taking bitter medicine daily just to stay relevant. He also notes that while he still enjoys creating content about "The Minions," he has passed that specific torch to another creator named Jelly, who continues the series on Sundays. A second major reason for his departure is the feeling that his primary mission within the community has been accomplished. The creator felt a responsibility to bridge the gap left by Paragon's original shutdown and ensure information survived until new creators could take over, but he believes that era of scarcity is now over. He observes that there are currently plenty of active content creators—both established veterans like Jelly and Bearded Wolverine with his podcast, as well as newer voices—who are providing high-quality reviews and guides for the game. With so much information already available to anyone who needs it, he feels no longer necessary to carry the torch himself, viewing this transition not as a failure but as a natural evolution of the community where new creators can now thrive without his shadow. In addition to stepping away from Paragon content, the creator has launched an entirely new channel called Giga Dingo dedicated to reviewing "Choose Your Own Adventure" games with adult themes and explicit content. He describes this venture as genuinely fun compared to forcing himself to play zombie survival horror titles he no longer loved, though he notes that these videos are age-restricted due to heavy language and mature scenes, preventing them from being monetized or promoted by YouTube's standard algorithms. Despite the lack of financial incentive and potential platform restrictions, he insists that having fun doing something he loves is far more important than making money while creating content he has grown to resent, highlighting a sample review where he humorously critiques the graphics in one of these adult games as his reward for enduring buggy gameplay. He concludes by expressing deep gratitude to his long-time subscribers and thanking them for their loyalty over the years. He praises the community built around his channel as perhaps the most intelligent and honest group within the Paragon Zombies scene, valuing their insightful comments and hilarious interactions above all else. While he signs off with a promise that this is not goodbye forever but rather a shift in focus to new projects like Giga Dingo, he reaffirms his pride in having been part of both the original Paragon community and its zombie successor before ending on a friendly note wishing everyone well for their own endeavors.
