Video summary
In this fishing challenge, the host travels across multiple ponds despite heavy rain and dropping temperatures that fell from 98°F to 74°F, aiming to catch more than one species, fish in unvisited locations, and land a monster bass over five pounds. Starting at a new spot, he initially struggles with missed bites on his confidence bait, the Chatter Donkey, before successfully catching two bass totaling around 3.55 lbs using both that chatterbait and an old black Quaky jig head. After taking a brief break for a sponsored segment regarding "Free Cash," he moves to another pond characterized by heavy grass cover where visibility is excellent but casting proves difficult; here he lands several small fish while encountering large carp, including one estimated at over 20 or even 40 pounds.
Continuing his journey, the host reaches a location known as the swamp pond, which receives natural water flow from a creek behind it and offers shaded areas near docks where another bass is caught. At this site, he tests new baits such as the Chad Shad swimbait and Magdraft glide bait to adapt to changing conditions. The day takes an unexpected turn when he loses line due to snagging issues with an eyelid-style lure that breaks off during retrieval far from his vehicle, forcing him to switch tactics again; remarkably, he manages to catch a catfish on the Chatter Donkey after this setback. Throughout these efforts, he observes abundant wildlife including deer swimming across ponds and schools of carp, noting signs of healthy populations in each location.
Although none of the bass caught during the day meet his ambitious five-pound goal, the host remains optimistic about finding larger fish in future spots or on subsequent days given the evidence of robust ecosystems. He highlights that while small to medium-sized catches were frequent, encounters with massive carp suggest that monster-size targets are present within these waters. The video concludes by encouraging viewers who enjoyed this adventure titled "I Fished Every Pond Until I Caught a MONSTER..." to watch another related clip displayed on screen before the final background music plays out.

Today I'm going pond hopping, fishing as
many ponds as it takes to find a
monster. But to complete this challenge,
I have three objectives. Objective
number one is to catch [music] more than
one species. Objective number two is to
catch a fish in a pond I have [music]
never been to before. And finally,
objective number three, the goal that
could possibly ruin everything is to
catch a fish weighing over 5 lb. Some of
these ponds could be [music] completely
empty, but one of them might be holding
a fish of a life.
Good one.
Oh. Oh. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.
There's another one. There's a bass
right there. There's a good bass. Oh,
monster. Oh my gosh. There he is.
[music]
Oh, it's a good one, too. And I actually
had a little grass p. Oh gosh. We're
going to be pond hopping for some
monster fish today. And I am beyond
excited for it. It has been a long time
since we have just gone out to some
ponds, pawn hopped, and tried to catch
some big fish. We got us our kicking
their bass TV ex loose combo here. If
you guys want to check out any of the
rods or anything I use in the videos,
you can check them out on
kickingthebass.com. They'll be linked
down below. But the bait that we're
going to be starting off with today is
just an old Chatter Dunk. This is one of
my confidence baits. And this is a bait
I have caught so many big fish on. If
there is one lure that I just have a ton
of confidence in the world to throw
anywhere to catch big fish, it has to be
the old Chatter Donkey. And then I have
a swimbait that I have never thrown
before, and this is actually called the
Chad Shad. Really sick looking swimbait.
Just looks like a pretty big gizzard
shad. Never thrown it before, but I have
heard of some crazy stories about this
bait and some big fish that people have
caught. So later on in this video, we're
going to whip this puppy out and give it
a cast. But without further ado, let's
start casting in the water. Before we
get deeper into this video, only 27% of
you all watching these videos are

Really helps the channel. I'd appreciate
it. All right, Mr. Chatt Donkey, let's
see what you do, boy. I'll tell you, one
thing I don't get to do as often is
throw a bait that I have a ton of
confidence in. Feel like most of the
time we're going out, we're throwing
crazy things or doing some sort of
challenge or just throwing a weird
looking bait. Today, we're not doing
that, man. We're throwing what we want
to throw. We're going to throw baits
that we think are going to get bit. So,
something very interesting is about to
happen in about 60 minutes. In the next
hour, it is 98° outside right now. And
let's just say in an hour's worth of
time, so next hour, it is going to be
74°.
The temperature is going to drop 24° in
literally an hour. And I don't think
I've ever seen that before. That's very
interesting. And I'm curious to see how
these fish respond. They could be turned
up and start biting really good before
that hits. Or they could shut down
completely and hurt our feelings a
little bit, but hopefully that's not the
case. And hopefully it fires them up and
they just start biting like crazy. All
right. Absolutely love this spot right
here. Just we need to be careful.
There's a lot of rocks and big concrete
blocks
right along this bank. I don't know if
you guys can see this.
It's probably hard to tell with so many
clouds in the sky, but there's a big
boulder right there. And there is a lot
lined up all the way down the edge
[music] of this bank, but like the
conditions are really good for this
chatterbait. The only thing that would
make it better is having a little bit of
wind, but this cloud cover looks
amazing.
Oh my gosh, that was a mega right on the
edge of that freaking boulder right
there. Hold on, let's get back in there.
I just saw him flash, dude. That fish
looked like he was 3 to 4 lb. See if
he'll bite it again.
Right there. That's where I hopped over
it. Jeez, man. Never had a fish just
slap a chatterbait like that to where he
just didn't get in his mouth.
Oh
my goodness. Y'all heard that rod
whistle. What is going on? Hold on. It
just started to rain a little bit right
there. I don't know if you guys see the
ripples on the water.
That is two really good bites we just
got here.
Cannot believe we didn't.
Dude, he bit me again. What is
happening?
There's fish here. [laughter] I didn't
expect to get this many bites in the
whole dang pond. We already have three
right here. All right, guys. I'm going
to throw a couple more right here and
then we're going to tie on the Quaky.
Dang, man. Three bites we missed right
there. That's insane. All right. I'm
sure we're going to put this chatter
bait back on because I know we're going
to slay some fish on it today. But just
to switch up since we had three bites
and didn't catch any. Let's switch up to
the old black quaki. And usually I'm
weird about throwing like a black bait
like this, like all blacked out,
especially bottom bait. But the one
thing I will say with this cloud cover
right now and how nasty it is outside, I
feel like this thing is going to be the
perfect color. If you guys are wondering
how we have this rigged up, we have a
nailed weight right in the middle there,
as you guys can tell. And then we just
have a little tiny treble hook that we
have hooked through the bait. Pretty
simple and basic. Nothing crazy. Tie
this puppy on with an old uni uni knot.
Do I hope we throw this thing in there
and that big boy just slams it. We're
about to figure out the corki is all
hype or is it actually the real deal?
Okay, without further ado, let's give
her an old cast, man. That's all we can
do right here. I'll tell you right now,
the last thing we want to do is get this
thing hung. If I had to assume these
fish in this pond have never seen a
corki before, unless a bunch of
neighborhood kids have just been
throwing the piss out of it. You guys
are going to kill me on this one, but
one thing I actually left, it is in the
truck, okay? It's not gone. So, whatever
next pond we go to, we're going to grab
it. I did leave my scale in the truck,
though. But it is here. So, the next
pond we go to, we need to make sure we
grab it. I got my hands full with a
bunch of random things. So, but the
scale has to come with us, especially
since we're hunting some monster fish
today. It's really starting to come down
now. Okay, so the one thing I noticed is
I have thrown this a lot. Haven't had
any bites on it yet. I'm not going to
totally count out the old qui, but I
walked this whole bank and not a single
bite. The ChatterBait was at least
giving us bites. And if I had to have an
explanation for it, it's because, man,
we got the clouds, we got a little bit
of rain, and I want to see these fish
are roaming. No,
my chest cam's okay, but I'm worried
about this camera.
Gosh, don't do this. All right, I'm not
going to be done fishing. Let's go ahead
and walk down there so I'm a little
closer to the car just in case the
bottom falls out cuz it is starting to
piss, man. Look at the water.
Woo! Living the dream, baby. Oh, we're
just going to absolutely dust it. Okay,
it was going to rain. I'm not going to
lie. I talked to you guys. I'm like,
"Hey, unless it's pissing, I'm not going
to leave." I'm not even kidding. It
started pissing 45 seconds later. I am a
little soaked. I'm [music] a little
drenched. But that is not stopping us
today, boys. We're going to sit this out
for a second. I'm going to look at the
radar, kind of see what's going on, and
then if it clears up very soon, I'd say
we go back out to that spot. If not, I'd
say we just keep on moving. Go to
another spot where there's no rain.
But I will catch you guys when [music]
we at the next location. All righty.
We're back. No rain. We got a scale. And
temperature update. It is 76°.
It has dropped 22° since I talked to you
guys last. I sat in my car for about 30
minutes. By the way, the last stretch of
run back to my truck, I got freaking
dumped on. It was really bad. So
hopefully this rain will hold off and we
can get a good bit of fishing in here.
Oh man, I hate that. So the one thing is
I don't mind rain. I don't mind thunder,
but once it starts lightning really bad,
that's where
I'm a little weird about it. I did see
some lightning in the distance there,
but let's uh
let's just kind of keep an eye out, fish
for a little bit here. See what we got
going on. Hopefully this rain will hold
off too until we get on to the next
spot. And I think we're gonna get a
little ballsy here. We're just gonna
send it all the way down to the other
side. Just hopefully it doesn't piss on
us because we're gonna have a long
distance back to the truck. But I feel
like we just got to risk it. Haven't
caught a fish yet. We got to keep our
head down. Let's go ahead and get on to
the far side of the pond. Let's see if
we can produce a big bite.
Oh, that's a good one. I think so. Oh
gosh. I can't move this fish.
What is going on? Is it a big one? Look
at a splash. Is this our five pounder?
Oh gosh.
Oh gosh. Let's go, baby. Come on. What a
fish to start off the video. Let's go,
baby. I was about to leave this spot,
man. Dude, that was the craziest thing.
You see right there? I had him hooked in
the top of the mouth and I also had him
hooked in the bottom of the mouth.
That's why it felt so weird. So, when I
hooked that fish, it wasn't really
fighting. [music]
That is a good three pounder right
there, boys. Look at that beautiful
fish. That is a great one to start off
today's video. He's not going to hit our
5 lb goal here, but that is a really
good fish. And I still want to get a
weight on him. I think he's uh that's a
three [music] pounder. It's a
three-pounder all day. Go ahead, clear
our scale.
Let's go, man. Hey, that's a [music]
good fish to start today off.
Oh yeah. Oh, you bigger than three. 3
3.55
baby. Old three and a half pounder to
start off today's video. That is a great
fish, man. Very blessed to catch that
one on our first go. We had a couple
other fish we lost when we first got
here, but that is a really good sign
that there's still some healthy fish
living in here. Let's go ahead and throw
him back. Try to catch us another fish.
What a beautiful bass, guys. Just a
blessing to be out here today. 355 to
start off the video. Man, that's a good
sign.
Oh, please. There she goes. Peace out,
Cub Scout. Let's go, baby. Come on.
That's a good way to start. All right,
I'm actually going to throw right back
over there in that same spot. So, if you
guys look, there's that one tree over on
the far end,
and it actually had a little grass p. Oh
gosh.
Did y'all see that? I might have been
right out of the camera view. That was
some scary lightning. That was a good
bite. That's got me pumped up.
No way. No way. Come on. Come back for
it. That was in the same spot that we
caught that fish.
Oh.
Oh, no way. He did slap me. He slapped
me twice.
There's another one. Oh, yeah. Dude,
they're out there, man. This one's not
as big as the last one.
It's another fish. We're just going to
ski him right on in here, man. Little
tiny guy.
Thank you, bud. Thank you, buddy, man.
But that's all we needed to catch one
fish just to start getting some bites,
getting some fish on board. And pretty
little fish. Not a big one by any means.
Not going to help us out today, but
still a beautiful fish. And it's just a
blessing catching any size fish out here
today, guys. Just love being in the
outdoors. Connecting with nature like
this is just a blessing. And still a fun
fish to catch. Thank you, baby. See you
swim off. There she goes. Let's go, man.
That's two fish on board. It is time to
keep it rolling, guys. That was a
successful pond number one. Caught two
fish. We got a 3.55. And that is a pound
and a half short of our 5 lb goal as one
of our challenges today. But that is not
going to stop us. That is a great start.
We just got to keep our confidence high
and keep on rolling, baby. Spot Enumero
dos. There's a lot of good fish in here.
Haven't fished this place in a while.
We're going to start [music] and stick
to the old chatter donkey here for a
little bit. This spot has a bunch of
grass here at the top. So, I can only
throw this in specific spots, but we're
going to throw it around for a little
bit. See what we get into. [music] And
then if we have to, we're going to
switch up to the old Quickie ball and
see if we can avoid getting grass on
that thing. And those were the only two
baits I brought out of this spot. So
hopefully um we'll be able to fish them
through this grass [music] right here in
the section that we're throwing in.
There isn't too much grass. It's
actually not bad.
If you go down to the right here, it is
literally caked on top. You can't even
cast out there in the middle. [music]
Yeah. I don't even know if this is going
to be quite fishable, guys, with how
grassy this is. At least with the baits
that we have. If we uh brought some
other baits out here, we could
definitely fish them. I will say, minus
all the grass, [music] look at how jin
clear the water is. You guys can see
right to the bottom there. It's actually
beautiful. So, this is all the grass I'm
talking about. So, you guys can see the
edge there. Bunch of grass all the way
down there is grass all the way out. And
then here you actually have some open
water. Very shallow up by our feet. But
what you don't really see is right
there. There's a lot of grass. And all
through here is still [music] a lot of
grass below the surface. It's not really
like even throwing my bait right there.
Right now, I'm over there pulling it
through grass. Boys and girls, let's
take a quick pause from the fish action
to talk about how we can make some extra
money on the side. Everyone says nothing
is really free. So, let me break down
how free cash makes money and how you
actually get paid. It's pretty simple.
The brands are paying you to play mobile
games instead of paying for ads that you
scroll straight past. Now, let me just
throw something out there. Free cash is
not an app that is going to replace your
job or let's just say make you rich
overnight. That is not what Free Cash is
about. But if you're somebody who plays
games on your phone, if you're relaxing
at night, kind of laying in bed playing
some games, why not play the games that
are ran through the free cash app to
actually earn real money? So, as you
guys can tell, we just clicked on the
Woku Blast. And there are a bunch of
different ways that you can earn money
on here. Based on my location, I can
earn up to $1,000 from this app. After
completing the milestones, you scroll
down to the bottom. Beginner, play the
game, and fill the bar. You can earn 9
cents with that. There's a bunch of
different challenges and ways that you
can earn money through this and work
your way up through the ranks. Once you
meet the minimum threshold of $25, you
can cash out through crypto, PayPal,
gift cards, and many more options.

let's get back to the fish section. All
right, I have a better idea. So, there's
actually a pond right over there across
from this one. So, let's go ahead and
walk over there and give that one a
shot. That one doesn't have as much
grass. This one is out of commission for
us right now. I'm not going to lie. If
we came back with the top water or
something, I actually feel like we could
slay the fish. We just do not have the
right tools for the job. Gosh, this
place has a lot of slop, too. There's a
more nasty slop on the bank. Looks like
we might be able to cast right here a
little better than the other spot. Oh,
yeah. So much better. Makes me wonder if
these two connect because I've never
thought of that. Cuz I mean, this place
is gen clear, too. Just a bunch of nasty
slop.
Oh my goodness. That was sick.
Okay, I guess we don't need the top
water, baby. Come on. It's not a big
one, but look how he ate that. That was
the first fish today that actually
choked the bait. Wow. Barely had it. And
look at the beautiful markings on that
fish. That is the thing coming out the
ponds that have this jin clear water
[music] is these fish just tend to be a
lot prettier. It's pretty wild. A lot of
these fish I could only assume would be
really dark, too, from being up in that
grass. But this one's clearly hasn't
been up in the grass and he's been out
feeding. But a beautiful fish. First one
here at technically pond number three,
but let's just call it pond number two.
Let's get her back in the water and keep
on hunting these fish. Man, it's the
best feeling in the world pulling up to
a new spot and catching a fish that
quick. That is so sick. Thank you, baby.
Thank you, honey. We're moving, man. Had
a little bit of real estate to work with
having to get a bite right away. Gosh,
that fish is lost, man. Went right down
that bank. Let's uh keep on casting here
and see if we can catch a bigger one. I
know they live here because it's been
it's been years, but we've caught a
bunch of five and six pounders out of
this pond. The more that I fish over the
years, you know, I've been fishing my
whole life. The more that I realize it's
not really about the bait that you're
throwing. Yes, it is on specific days
based on conditions and what the fish
want. But I just feel like throwing
something that you have confidence in is
the most powerful thing out of anything.
We can sit here, we can talk about
colors, we can talk about conditions, we
can talk about sun, clouds, wind, shade.
You can talk about whatever you want. I
feel like throwing something that you
have confidence in is more important
than any of those conditions or stats
that you want to go by. And I'll tell
you, it's been a very long time since
I've got to throw a chatterbait. And
it's one of my favorite baits. And man,
does it feel good just to go hit these
spots. There's a big Oh, there's a
Oh my gosh. What is going on, dude?
That was a big one. That one was uh
possibly pushing the four number. If
not, he was a high three. Either way, he
was the biggest fish we had today. And
uh our biggest one so far is a 355 if
that tells you anything. That was a
pretty solid fish. Dang, dude. He was
fat. Hammered it. One thing I will say,
this chatterbait I'm throwing is a
little heavy for what I'm doing,
especially in the shallow water. Super
super grassy. All I will say is that
there is a lot of fish in this pond
right now biting. Okay, I think it's
about that time, man. As much as I would
love to continue fishing this pond and
just keep throwing in there and even tie
on another bait and continue fishing it,
I just feel like we need to pick up and
keep on going. These fish are biting
really good. I doubt it's only this
pond. So, let's just keep our head high,
keep [music] pumping, go to the next
spot, and hopefully reach all our goals.
Let's get it, baby. Come on. So, [music]
we are back at the swamp pond. It has
been a very long time since we have been
in this particular spot. We caught a few
seven pounders in here. It's a natural
place fed by natural water. And that is
why this pond is a great choice for
fishing today. We had all that rain
earlier today. And what happens is
there's actually a creek behind this.
It's pretty much a swamp. And when it
rains, it typically floods. And when it
floods, it [music] actually pours water
in behind this tree right here. So I
would say about right there and on this
side right here, there's natural [music]
water that pours down from that swamp
into this pond. And that is exactly why
we call it the [music] swamp pond. We've
been absolutely killing it on the old
chatterbait today so far. And that is
really about all we've thrown. I know we
threw the koi for a little bit, but it
is time to finally get spiky with it,
baby, with the qui and try to throw it
in the old swamp. And there's a bunch of
nasty old critters besides bass in here.
There's a bunch of mud fish. So
hopefully a mudfish does not bite this
thing and steal it completely. So
without further ado, let's go ahead and
cast the corki in the water and
hopefully land a monster. I can tell you
one thing. I do not know if anybody's
ever thrown one of these urchin baits in
this pond. It's probably the first time
these fish have ever seen an urchin
bait. I don't think many people fish out
here. And it can be a killer spot. It
can either break your heart or it can
make your make your dang year, dude. I
could totally see a mud fish like
freaking out on this urgent, too. So, I
mean, I don't mind catching a mud fish
on this thing. I just hope it doesn't
break it off or mess it up. That's the
only thing I ask. I don't know if you
guys see there's a huge boil right
there. Let's see if we can get in on
this action. Telling you guys, it is so
important to pay attention to your
surroundings like that. And hopefully
it'll pay off right here and uh tell you
guys why. Let me see a dang 8 pounder.
Bro, I would lose my marbles right now.
I would totally believe in the quake. By
the way, if I caught an 8 pounder right
now, I would be solely convinced. I
might just be like every other person on
the internet right now and buy every
single one I see. Crazy boils
everywhere, but no bites. What is going
on, man?
I thought the old swamp would be a
perfect place to throw this bait, but
maybe I was wrong.
Oh,
dude, there was a huge mud fish right
there. Dude, if I would have walked up
on that and I just threw that up in
there, I bet we would have caught him.
That was a big mud. Dang.
I know that's not what we're targeting,
but that would have been pretty cool. I
knew that spot just looked perfect. I
mean, you have all this grass and that's
like the one opening that you have. One
of our objectives today is to catch a
fish at a pond that we have never been
to before. Well, this pond behind me I
have never been to before, but I've been
wanting to fish it for a bunch of years.
I've heard rumors of some really big
fish hiding out in these waters. I've
just never taken the time to come out
here and try it. So, this is what we're
about to do. We're going to throw our
old chatter donkey and cover a bunch of
water. I feel like this is just a good
bait to cover water and catch a big
fish. So, we're going to stick to this
like we have been through the beginning
of the video here in a little bit. If we
can tell that there's fish in here and
they're willing to bite, I actually
would like to try the old Magdraft. This
is one of my favorite swim baits of all
time. And I feel like this would be a
cool swimbait to throw. Obviously, we're
still going to be throwing that big
bullshad later on in the video. But, I
thought, why not try the Magdraft here
if there's fish? Without further ado,
let's go ahead and get this Chatter
Donkey, start casting this water, and uh
see if there's some big fish in here.
I'm actually glad that we're starting
off with this because I can just sling
this thing super far.
I believe this pond has some pretty deep
water. We're actually about to find that
out. I just cast it out there. Let's
see. Oh, yeah. This pond's got some
depth.
Wow.
It's got some pretty good depth, guys. I
had a feeling this pond was pretty deep.
If you guys look along this bank, you
see how steep the bank is? That's
usually a telling sign. Even up here, it
drops off pretty quick. And the water is
pretty jin clear, guys. I mean, the
water is very clear in here. But yeah,
we're just going to sit here, fan cast
around, kind of get a feel for this
pond, see if we can get any activity at
all.
This pond's got some serious depth to
it. Uh-oh, there's a bluegill right
there. Well, that's the first sign of
life in the water. That's always good to
see.
All right, I think we're going to keep
on walking down. One of my favorite
things to do is just going to new spots,
trying new bodies of water that I've
just never been to before. The only
downside is most of the time it might
not go as planned. But I don't think
that's the case today. I think we're
going to actually hook into a good one
here. So, this is a little strip that
actually comes off of that big body of
water we were just fishing. I don't
think this is going to be nearly even
close to as deep as that is.
But this water
is super dirty, which makes me wonder
if this is even [music] connected to
that. Maybe that dirty water will help
with this chatter bait here. Put off
that vibration.
There he is. There he is. Little tiny
squirt. That'll get that'll get us
started at this spot. Let's go, baby.
And that is objective number one or one
of the objectives knocked off a list is
to catch a fish in a pond I've never
been to. I have never fished this right
here either. So that is going to count.
Even though it is not the biggest fish
in the world, but that is a fish at a
body of water we have never been to
before. But since we got a bite, we
can't leave right now. Let's make some
more casts and see if there's some
bigger ones. Not a big bass by any
means, but guess what? That is our new
pond fish. And we moving on.
So, we finally pulled out the old Chad
Chad. I have never fished with the Chad
Chad before, but I'm going to be honest
with you guys. This is probably one of
the best looking glide baits I have ever
tied on. The pond that we're at right
now, I've caught a bunch of big bass in
the past. It's been years since we've
been here. This is another old spot, but
I'm going to throw this big old bad boy
and see if we can catch a big one on it.
I do have this paired up on my 73 heavy.
Um, I did keep my Chatter Donkey on, my
medium heavy here. So, we're still gonna
be throwing this, but I did bring this
puppy out. So, we got two rods with us.
Let's start casting and see what we can
get into. Part of me just wants to start
with the Chatter Don, but why not start
with the old big bad boy, man? I mean,
this thing just looks looks so good. The
thing with this bait is this isn't
something they're seeing every day, if
ever. I mean, they've probably never
seen this bait before. So, hopefully
there's a big old 8 pounder right up on
this tree. [laughter]
that uh we can get attention here.
There's some really good fish in this
pond and I feel like if one sees this
bait and it sees an opportunity, it's
probably going to eat it.
So, there's actually a shopping cart in
the water right here.
And this is where I caught a really big
one the last time I was out here.
A big little dust cloud right there.
That makes me wonder if that was a fish.
I don't know if it was a turtle or a
fish or what it was.
Might as well give the chatter donkey a
shot. Something a little smaller,
easy to eat, less intimidating. Boys and
girls, it is day two. Yesterday was a
tough one. I'm not going to lie. By the
end of the day, I was convinced that
there was no fish in the ponds that we
were fishing. But today is a new day.
Beautiful weather. We got our big old
swimbait on. I still want to try to
catch one on this thing and we got our
worm on the old Texas rig. I think
slowing down is going to be the smart
option for today. But without further
ado, let's go ahead and start fishing.
So, the spot that I'm at today is
actually a spot I've caught really good
fish at in the past, but I haven't gone
here in a very long time. Last time I
came out, I did catch a three and I
caught one fish, but it was 3 and 12
lbs. So, hopefully we can get into
something today. There's this little
pipe right here putting out some fresh
water right in here. So, I can only
assume that this is a good spot for some
fish to set up. Not only do we have some
natural water pouring in here, I have no
idea what this is. I don't know if it's
like a big rock or what, but there's
multiple of them down this bank. And
even down there, there's some more. And
there's some like pipes or rock right
there as well. I have no idea what that
is. All I got to say is there's got to
be some big fish around some of this.
There's actually a lot of bait right
there. Right when I was popping it,
there's a bunch of bluegills. Smaller
ones swimming around that. Got to have a
different mindset today, guys. Yesterday
was rough on me.
Started to get a little mad with how bad
it was. There's a bass right there.
There's a good bass. Oh my gosh. He's
right up on the grass, guys. He's big.
Wait, that's a carp. Is that a carp?
Yeah, that's a carp. Oh my gosh.
[laughter] I'm like, that's a 10
pounder, dude. I'm not even kidding. I
don't know if you guys see him. He just
swam out there. I saw his tail sticking
out from that and it looked like a
little bass tail, man. It's crazy. I
don't know if you guys see him in the
water there. Might be hard to tell. I
mean, he's at least 25 lbs. Oh my god,
there's another one. What is going on,
dude? Look at that one. That one's got a
hunchback, guys. Hold on. Look. You guys
see that right there? Look at him right
there.
He's actually got like some sort of
hunchback action going on. Man, we might
need to go to the store and grab
something [music] to catch those things.
Grab some bread. That's one way to catch
our uh fish over 5 lbs today. There's
another one right there. Oh my gosh,
dude. Today might be the day for some
carp fishing, bro. Bro, there's another
one up in the grass there. This is
actually unreal. We're coming after some
big bass, not some big carp. [laughter]
Look at these big pipes in the water.
Got to hold a fish. I will say the
amount of healthy wildlife I'm seeing in
here is refreshing. Bunch of carp, a
bunch of turtles, a bunch of bait, fish,
some ducks, and birds all up along the
bank. There's actually [music] activity
today, unlike yesterday. There's another
freaking massive carp. That's the
biggest one I've seen. That one might be
pushing 40. I'm not going to lie. Oh,
look at that big old beast, dude. So
aggravating to me. Makes me want to just
go leave here right now and get some
stuff to catch him. So, this is actually
where I caught the old three and a half
pounder the last time we were here.
We'll roll that clip. Oh, there we go.
That's a good one. I knew it, dude. I
had a weird feeling that is an absolute
brute. Oh my gosh, look at how fat this
fish is. Let's go, baby. Come on
[laughter] now, son. But yeah, that was
a really good fish.
That was the only one I caught that day
out here. Even though I didn't stay too
long, I caught him right on this spot. I
don't know if that's another big carp or
a bass down there, but I'm going fling
it.
That's another carp. Oh, yeah. Wait,
there's a bass up there. It's actually a
decent one. Hold on. We should be able
to catch Oh, you I spooked him. I
spooked him. How did I spook him? Is
that another carp or is that a big bass?
Dude, there's fish down this bank right
here. Could be a bass. With all the
activity we're seeing, I'm feeling
really good about this. Just got to give
it a little bit of time. Stay confident.
Keep making some good cast. It's going
to happen here.
So, we walked all the way on the other
side, guys. And I don't know if you can
see, there's a bunch of bait over here.
Haven't really seen any bass blow up or
chase any, but there is a lot of bait
over here, which is always a good sign.
And there's also a dock over here, and
that's why I wanted to come over cuz I
was like, it is so hot today. I can only
imagine there's some fish under that
dock in that shade. Oh my gosh, there's
a bass right there, guys. It's a good
one, too. No way these fish in here are
this smart, right?
What? He's right up on that pole. So
crazy. Why are the bass being so rough?
I saw that fish right up there. Had a
perfect flip, didn't spook them or
anything. Saw them go down on the bait,
you just never touched it. Got to keep
our eyes peeled. I feel like we're going
to have an opportunity like that again.
That's twice in a row that that's
happened though where we've seen a fish
thrown over there. They don't care at
all. Oh my god, they just school up on
that bank. Hold on. That looks like a
bass. Dude, that doesn't look like a
carp. Hold on.
Yeah, that's a bass for sure. Please go
over to my bait.
Dude, we are seeing fish roam these
banks, man. What's going on, man? That's
three bass that we've seen. I'm just
glad that we're actually seeing fish.
That's such a relief to me. Honestly,
I'm convinced they don't want this worm
if they're not going to bite it at all.
Good one. Oh my gosh.
Well, I guess he wants the [music] worm.
Woo!
Let's go, baby. That's a good fish. Not
a giant by any means, but that is a
healthy bass. I'm telling you, man. The
bass in these waters out here are just
super pretty and overly healthy. Man,
look how beautiful that fish is. That is
close to a three pounder right there.
Super fat and healthy. Man, I'll tell
you, I had a feeling to come over to
this dock. I was like, you know what?
It's a hot summer day. Fish are going to
want to be up in that shade. And sure
enough, this close to three pounder was
up there. He actually had a boil feeding
on some bait fish and skipped right up
under there and he smoked it. Guys,
almost broke him off, man. He grabbed it
and went to the right around that
pillar. And when I hooked it, I [music]
could feel it scraping that concrete. It
worried me a little bit, but that is a
great fish to start off here, guys.
That's a great one. Thank you, baby.
That is awesome, man. Let's go. I'm
going to be real. I do not feel [music]
like that's the last one in there. I
feel like there's some more fish around
this. I will say that did fray my line
ever so slightly. Hopefully me being
lazy right now is not going to cause a
heartbreak.
No.
That is not what we want. Why is this so
stuck?
If I break my rod, I break it. Dude,
like how in the world does that happen?
Well,
we did break it off. Okay, I'm going to
set this to a side real quick. Maybe we
grab that big swimbait and walk on down
the bank a little more. So, one thing
I'm actively doing when we're moving
from spot to spot or just walking around
this place. I am actively looking at the
bank. I don't know if you guys see that
there, but there's a bunch of bluegill
right there. That's a good telltale sign
to me. Like this whole bank in general
could be a bunch of bass rolling. Two
out of three of those fish that we saw,
I mean, we actually saw the fish. It
wasn't like we were throwing out there
getting bites. We targeted them with our
eyes and then we executed. I think out
of all the times I've came here, I have
never fished this corner. So, let's give
it a shot. So, with as much activity as
we're seeing today, I think I'm actually
going to tie on our old chatter donkey.
I know yesterday they were not eating
this thing too well towards the end of
the day, but one thing I will say with
all the activity we see in this place
with all these bass roaming, chasing
some bluegill on the bank, I feel like
this is probably our best thing we can
throw even over the worm.
Oh, no, no, no. You got to you got to
eat it, man. Don't do what we did
yesterday. Please don't do that. That
one hammered it right there, guys.
Literally, what was happening to us last
night?
What in the world?
Oh, dude, what is going on? That was a
crazy thump. And then all of a sudden, I
couldn't move it.
Oh, monster. Oh my gosh. Oh, it's a
catfish. It's a [laughter] catfish. No
way. Oh my god. I'm pretty sure it's a
cat. Yeah, it's a catfish. Oh my gosh. I
got a catfish on a chatterbait. He was
absolutely hammering me. That's biting
better than a dang bass, guys. Holy cow.
I didn't even know there was catfish in
here.
Let's go, baby. Come on. I couldn't tell
you the last time I caught a catfish on
like an artificial lure. Beautiful
catfish, guys. Look at that thing. That
is awesome. Instead of even messing with
you, buddy. I'm just going to pop this
thing right out.
Pop this thing right out, Sunny. Look at
that, though. Little fat boy.
Okay, that did not work at all. That
just got us all messy, buddy. I mean, he
got it good, guys. Look at that. That's
what I'm talking about. Old kitty cat on
the old chatterbait, man. Crazy. Not a
big one by any means, but he hammered
it. I thought it felt so weird before.
There might be more there.
Look at him talking to me. What are you
saying?
What are you saying?
Thank you, baby. Let you go. Let's get
it, man. That's so cool. Now, I know
that's not the 5 pounder we're looking
for, nor is that even a bass, but that
is just so cool, man. That is fun. That
was a cool experience. I want to throw
back in there cuz there might [music] be
more. I doubt that guy is the one who
bit me twice, right? He could have been.
Wouldn't that be something? I mean, if
catfish are going to eat it like a dang
bass, I wouldn't mind catching. I mean,
that ain't the first time I've had that
happen. I actually caught the biggest
catfish I've caught. Like, the biggest
one I've caught last was actually on a
chatter don.
Dude, there's a deer. This deer just
walked out from the island over there.
Look, do you see him? Little Bambi.
Little Bambi. Started running when I
started calling his name. That thing
just swam all the way across the pond
out over there. He's just living in this
dang forest right there.
It's the craziest thing I've seen, bro.
Just happen to see him getting out of
the water over there. Gosh, that
wildlife is out today.
Woo! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. That was so
cool. That bass went over the top of
that rock to eat this bluegill. Gosh,
what did I just do? Fumbling. I'm
fumbling the bag. I'm super happy with
how that first spot went. You know, we
ended up catching a catfish and we
caught a bass and we caught a catfish on
a chatter dunk, which was really cool.
I'm at a spot right now that I have been
dying to come to for a very long time. I
don't want to go very in-depth on this
spot because I'm actually going to make
a sole video out here. Um, but let's
just say there's a couple reasons I want
to be here. One of the reasons is
because I have seen some pictures of
some hogs [laughter] being cut out of
here. Um, and another reason I'm not
even going to go into. We'll we'll talk
about it when the video comes, guys. But
just stay tuned for this place to be
featured in another video hopefully here
soon. And hopefully we hook a freaking
monster because the pictures I have seen
of fish being pulled out of here are
actually ridiculous. So, this is one of
the coolest glide baits I've ever thrown
in my opinion. Like, the paint job on it
and everything is just so sick. And the
action on this bait is amazing. The only
thing is what I'm used to is like a slow
sinking glide bait or a glide bait that
actually floats to the top. This one
actually is a fast sink. And I'm not
totally against it. I just feel like
fishing this thing from the bank in the
ponds that I'm fishing in can be a
little difficult because it's sinking so
fast to the point to where I'm having to
work this thing a lot quicker than I
would want because I don't want a bunch
of grass on the bottom to get on this
bait.
We're going to put this thing down for a
second. I want to catch one on that
thing so bad, guys. You have no idea.
I got an idea. Give me one second. I got
to run to the car. Here we go, guys. We
need to slow down. We need to try
something on the bottom here. Great
along this bank. I'm already hung again.
That was the one thing I didn't want to
get hung on and I got hung on. What is
happening? Okay,
we're going to send a rod in there.
No, I did it. I knew I said I didn't
care earlier. I freaking Look at this
piece of eyelid came out. Cuz I'm being
a dummy over here. I can actually get
that back in there, though. That's the
good thing about our rods, guys, is I
had these eyes designed a specific way.
I've had a lot of problems with eyelids
with different rods in the past, and it
should just pop just like that. Pop
right back in there. I actually bent it
a little bit, man. Bent my dang eyelid.
Give me my worm back.
Oh my gosh. Okay.
I mean, dude. And we are like a mile
from the car. Like, oh. Oh my gosh. And
to make it even worse, that piece I
knocked off my eyelid fell off the ding
rod. So that piece is gone. All right,
guys.
We're okay. Doing a little slip and
slide right into right into the dang
water. I can't even talk. We got to get
to work here. Got a Mr. Fluke ski on.
Something weedless. Something I can work
slow and fast at the same time. Still
cover water, but be a little finesse.
There he is.
There he is in the grass. Oh, it's a
good one, too. Stay pin.
Oh, no. Don't come off. That is not a
bad fish, man.
Let's go, baby. Let's go, man. Oh my
gosh. We worked so hard for that bite.
I've been to like three, four different
places with that fluke. Trying to get a
bite on it. Finally was thinking about
leaving the spot and just got us a
beautiful one. Not a big one by any
means, guys. It's not hitting our 5 lb
goal, but still a beautiful fish and
just blessed to be able to catch this
one. I'm sure there's a few more out
there, so we just need to keep on
fishing. So, before I was working that
fluke is just like a jerk bait. I was
throwing it out there just kind of
giving it three or four quick twitches,
letting it pause. This time I was
letting it just hit the bottom. I was
just hopping it like a worm, man.
Slowing it down a little bit more and it
produced that bite. Thank you for
biting, buddy. Thank you so much, man.
Pretty little fish. There's some big
ones that live in here, so don't let
this one fool you.
But still a nice catch and I'm blessed
to have them. Thank you, baby.
There she goes. Let's go, man. That is
awesome. Big thanks to Freeash for
