I Catch a Fish, My Bait Gets BIGGER! (10lb Bass Pond)

Every time I catch a fish, my bait gets bigger. But this time, we're at a hidden pond rumored to hold 10 lb bass. The bigger the bait gets, the harder the catch becomes. But at this pond, the final bait could hook a fish of a lifetime. >> Right there. Oh my goodness. There she is. Get out of there, big girl. Oh my gosh. Oh. Oh gosh. Oh gosh. Oh gosh. This is giant. Every time I catch a fish, my lure is going to get bigger. 10 pounder pond edition, baby. Give us a round of applause. It's been a couple months since we've been out to the 10 pounder pond. And today, we're going to be upgrading the size of our bait after every single fish catch. And without further ado, we're going to be starting off with our first bait, which is just a Ned rig. This is the smallest bait out of any bait that we're going to be throwing today. And you guys are probably wondering, Noah, why the heck do you have it on this jig head? Well, I did not have any of the TRD Ned heads, so I had to deal with what I had. And I just had this little swimbait head, and I said, "Screw it. That is what we're going to be throwing." I'd appreciate it. Without further ado, let's get to casting and see what we can catch. And since we haven't gone out to the 10 pounder pond in a minute, I'm expecting these fish to be biting, man. They haven't had much pressure. Okay, let's not do that off the rip. Come on, fish. This is the smallest bait we got in the box. Bite this thing so we can keep this challenge rolling. Oh my gosh, that looks so good. We know the small baits can catch small fish, but they can catch big fish, too. And I'd sure rather catch a big fish. Uh-oh, there she is. Oh my goodness. What is that? Is that even a bass? I don't know if that's a bass, guys. Guys, that might be a big bluegill or no, it is a bass. All right, there we go. And that is a fish on the first and smallest bait today. The old Ned rig. Got us a small little bass. He got that thing perfectly in the top of his mouth and then it hooked around his eyeball. Boom. Pop it out just like that. That is fish number one on the smallest bait we have in the box. Now we got to move on to a bait bigger than that one. Oh, okay. I was trying to get a nice release, but that didn't work. So, we're going to put the old spinning rod down and grab our bait caster. And here we go. For bait number two, we got us an old lipless crankbait, just a little bit bigger than the old Ned rig, but this is a different profile. This is a bait that we can throw out, retrieve, and catch some of those more active fish. The Ned Rig is one of those baits that you work on the bottom, you work a little slower. This thing we can cover water and catch any aggressive fish we would want. Now, without further ado, let's get to casting. I saw a splash out here in the middle, and that would be sick to catch one right off the rip on this trap. These fish were actually schooling right out here when I was talking to y'all. I was trying to hurry really quick. I was like, man, we got to get in the water. That's when I wish I had a top water on. Got a little bit of wind rolling right up into this creek, too, in this little pocket. So, this color right here is the perfect natural color. Got a little bit of purplish blue glare on top. Got some white on the body and on the bottom. And you got that chartreuse line right down the middle. It's like a perfect little natural shad color. These fish should munch. We're going to find a hungry one. Just wait. Feel like this whole section where it opens up out here in the middle is going to be pretty stacked. We just got to figure out where they're sitting. Right there. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. He is a big one. I think I got a pretty large one, guys. Unless I got him hooked. Weird. He stopped that thing cold. Turkey, baby. Come on. Woo. It's a good fish, but not not a big one by any means. Hey, this is the thing. The fish is an upgrade from the last fish. So, not only is our lure size changing, our fish size is changing, too. And at the end of the day, that's all I care about. I'd love to save the big one for last. That's why he felt so big, by the I got him right under the freaking chin. Look at that. And that is exactly why we need our kicking their bass premium tool kit. Oh. Oh my god. This is a disaster. There we go, guys. Fish number two on the whipless crankbait. Let's get this puppy back in the water. She is ready. And get on to bait number three. See you, dude. Well, this lipless crankbait did good. We just had to get around the fish. Now, let's move on to bait number three. Moving on to bait number three, we have a Strike King Rage Crawl, which is one of my favorite baits of all time. And not only do we have a Rage Crawl, but we have this crawl in summer crawl, which is one of my favorite colors that I have ever used. This bait is just a little bit bigger than the lipless that we just threw. But the rig we're going to put it on is going to make the bait even bigger than it is standalone. We're actually going to be putting this on a 1 and 12 ounce punch rig. And this bait is going to be perfect to pitch and flip in some of this thick grass. And if you guys want my honest opinion, I think this is the best way of catching big fish in a location like this. As you guys can tell, we have grass patches around us just like this. And we're going to be taking this heavy weight and punching it right down the middle. And I'll tell you, on a hot summer day, that is where some of the big girls are sitting. Now, without further ado, let's get to flipping around and getting us some bites. Man, let's catch us a freaking tank. So, one thing I'm looking for in these grass patches are any little sections that have a hole in them or any spots that I can just get into pretty easy, but I also want it to be protected, just like where I just flipped there. We don't want to go all the way in the back to where we can't get our bait through this grass at all. There might be some openings that we can pitch in, but the trick is to find places that are protected. Find little holes, but also little spots that are buried pretty deep in the grass. So, I don't know if you guys see that right here, but there's actually a hole right in the middle of that grass. It's exactly what I was talking about. I can pitch it right up in there. The only thing is if we hook a fish in that, it might be a little hard to get him out. Sometimes that's where the big girls hide. Big mama's right there. I feel that one. There she is. Come on. Get out of there. She's still on. Get out of there, big girl. Oh, I can't tell if she Is she still on? Yeah, she is still on. What in the world, guys? Oh my goodness. That was a sick eat. I knew that was the spot, man. She just got a pound of salad on her. Oh gosh. Hey, this fish is bigger than the first two we caught. So, not only is our bait getting bigger, man, our fish is getting bigger, too. And realistically, that's what you would expect, but that is a beautiful bass right there, man. About a 2 and 12 pounder, and that is a pretty one, man. Something about pitching that crawl up in that thick grass and getting that bite is one of the best feelings in the world. Let's go, baby. Come on. Thank you, honey. You can go swim back in your old grasshole. Well, I know we said no grass fish earlier, but I do not mind a grass fish as long as a grass bass is connected to it. Now, let's move on to bait number four. Moving on to this fourth bait is one of my favorite baits out of all the ones that we're throwing today, and it has to be an old top water frog baby. A little bit bigger than the crawl that we're throwing, especially with those silicone legs. But the frog that we're throwing right now is a hot pink frog. I've only caught one fish on this before, and it was not easy to get the bite. So, without further ado, let's start casting and see if we can get a crazy eat on this top water. Finally, we get to throw an old top water lure. Watch just get slammed on our first cast. Just a eight pounder. Just slurp that puppy down. The question is, does the fish like the pink? That's not really a natural color. I don't know what these fish are seeing every day to see something that's pink. Maybe a dragonfly. Maybe some weird poisonous spider. I mean, I don't I don't know what else they would see that is actually pink. I doubt they're going to see a pink frog naturally in the wild. But that pink color could spike curiosity. Oh my gosh. Oh gosh. Let's go, baby. Oh my gosh, that was so cool. That was probably one of the softest top water frog bites I have ever experienced. And he just spit a worm out of his belly. Come here, boy. Come here. Oh my gosh. He's just an old skinny guy. I kind of feel bad, man. But that puppy ate the frog. And what's crazy about that is that is the quickest bite we've had on any bait that we have thrown so far is on the dang pink frog. What in the world? I was just talking about how the first time I used it, it took me forever to get a bite and this guy was not hesitant. This poor guy was hungry, man. You don't got no belly on him. I feel kind of bad. One thing I need to start doing is carrying like some live bait with me so I can at least reward the fish. Well, that is the fourth bait knocked off the list. The old hot pink frog got a beautiful two plusb fish here. very skinny, but still an old healthy bass. And that was pretty cool. I was expecting a crazy eat, but hey, sometimes those subtle eats like that are really cool as well. Thank you so much for biting, baby. Catch you next time. Peace. For our fifth bait, we are going to be using the old Primal Spin. So, if you guys don't know what the old Primal Spin is, by the way, on the package it says catch the beast. Well, that is what we're here for today is to catch the dang 10 lb beast that's living in these waters. So years ago, one of my favorite baits was the old under spin by Fish Head. Well, they actually came out with a bait that is a hybrid of a Under Spin and a ChatterBait. And I haven't thrown this thing in years, so I was like, you know what? We have one brand new in the package. Let's give it a shot. And for the back of this thing, just to make it bigger, we're actually going to put a full-size Zoom Super Fluke right on the back of this puppy. And boom. Just like that, we got us a Fluke Chatterbait under spin hybrid baby that we hope we can catch a donkey on. So, without further ado, let's tie this thing on our rod, get to casting, and hopefully we get us a big bite. Well, here goes nothing, guys. The old primal spin. First bait that I would say is pretty dang unique. Oh my gosh. Watch me get slammed first cast in that pocket. I could totally see that happening. So, one of those baits I had a lot of confidence in years ago. And obviously you guys are like, "Oh yeah, Noah, you've had a confidence in a chatterbait all, you know, for years now." But this one is different, man. This is a different one. Like there was at times where I wasn't even throwing a standard chatterbait, I was actually just throwing this puppy. And with it saying catch the beast on the package, I hope we do catch the dang beast. And one thing that makes these challenges really hard is like once I catch a fish on a bait, it's like I got to switch to the next one. So even if I think a bait's going to produce a big bite, if I catch a small one on it right off the rip, I just got to keep going. Maybe this is telling us a sign to get out of this pocket and go to the other side of the lake. That might be what I do. Man, all the fish we've caught back here have been around two lbs. So, maybe we'll go to the other side and be catching some fives. Let's keep it moving. Well, maybe we didn't make it to the other side of the pond, but I did make it out here in this middle section. And right here, with it being so hot, I feel like a lot of these fish have been stacked out here in the middle. Got a little bit of wind, too. That should help our bite here. get these fish a little aggressive. I'll tell you the best looking spot in this whole little section though is right up there. And even that spot right there where we have a little bit of shade. We don't only have grass and trees, we got some shade action as well. I feel like most of these fish are not on the bank. I feel like they're out in the middle. All right, here's my game plan. We're just going to go down this bank, make as many good casts as we can, skip this thing up under the trees, get in the little shade lines, try to see if we can find a big girl just hiding out. So, we've been fishing with this bait longer than anything that we've thrown today. And usually I would be like, man, they don't want this. But let me hear me out with my theory. That's actually giving me even more confidence because I feel like this bait right here is going to entice a bigger bite. And at the end of the day, if we got to wait a little bit longer to get a bite, but the fish is triple the size, count me in, man. Sign me up any day of the week. But we've only had one bite on this thing so far. We've thrown it in a lot of good spots. I feel like we just have to keep casting. Have confidence in what we're doing and I think we'll get a really big bite. Come on, big Bertha. Where you at? And I just know that one of these trees has a tank on it. There's no way. You're telling me all this juicy looking territory doesn't have a fish at all. So, I love that this bait is like super unique, but the one thing that I've been having trouble with is hard to skip because of that spinner on the bottom. It's kind of like you're trying to skip a dang spinner bait. still has that smaller uh tied up profile like a regular chatterbait. It's just something about that spinner on the bottom. It's kind of hard to get this thing to glide. See what I mean? It just kind of spanks the water. I'm not going to lie, I love what I'm seeing up here. So, you have this little midsection. This is actually where we have spotted a lot of big fish recently. This has been pretty much where they have been caught. And if you look right out there in the middle, you have a little bit of ripple. There's some wind pushing through right here. If you look, it's even pushing through all the way up on this bank. So, I feel like this could be a really good zone for throwing this chatterbait here. Might be able to get some that are more active and chasing bait. Oh gosh, that bite was actually insane. I actually think that was a big bite. One thing I was doing that time is I really slowed down my retrieved and I feel like this unique chatterbait runs better when it's slower. Feel like you get that spinner on the bottom moving when you reel that thing slow. You're reeling it too fast. I feel like this thing rolls a little bit and like turns around. We need to pay attention to that. Oh my god, they're blowing up. I just landed right on them. I landed right on them. Oh my god, my bait's messed up. My bait's messed up. No. Oh my gosh, I missed another one. What is happening? How am I missing these fish? Now, if they're small ones and I miss them, I am totally okay with that. But we have missed a lot here. Like, it's honestly concerning how many we've missed. Oh. Oh my gosh. Yeah, baby. Come on. That's our biggest one today. Not a giant, but that eat was insane, guys. Please stay pinned. Please stay pinned, honey. Let's go, son. Oh my gosh. I'm about to fall in the water over here. And look at how he ate that old chatter bait with the under spin attached. That is a beautiful fish right there. Old unique chat donin knocked off the list, son. And we are still getting bigger in size, guys. Listen, we have not caught a giant by any means, nor have we seen the 10 pounder we're obviously looking for. But I will say, at least the fish is getting bigger with the bait. That is really exciting and that gives me high hopes for the final bait of this whole challenge, man. Because that bait is so big. I feel like it can really take only a big old massive fish to eat it. But thank you for biting, buddy. We lost multiple fish before we caught you, but you slammed that thing. Thank you, son. Let's go. We're finally getting into more of the big bait category. This is actually a 6-in Magdraft. So, not the biggest bait in the world. We have some bigger swimbaits coming up, but this is the perfect segue to the next bait. And this is actually one of my favorite baits of all time. This probably is my favorite swimbait ever made, and I have a lot of confidence in it. I've caught a lot of big fish on it. And this is in a color I love. As you guys can tell up top, it has a little bit of grayish blue. The bottom is that translucent white. And this is just a really great natural color. And these fish tear this bait up. So, let's go ahead and tie this on and get to casting. And hopefully we end up catching one at least 5 lbs on this thing. And I'll tell you, if we catch one that's 5 lb on this puppy with our progression that we're doing, I would think that we're on the way to catch a 10 lb donkey. All right, we got our first big swimbait tied on for the day. Let's get to casting, guys. I'm excited about this one. Now, I'm going to tell you that last bait took a while. I do not mind if this takes a while, but we catch a tank because I know the potential of this bait right here. here. And in my opinion, we might get more bites on this thing than we do that chatter bait we just threw. So, what I'm doing right now is I'm just going down these grass lines here. They're in some really good parallel cast just along the edge of the grass with a swimbait. And all I'm doing is trying to attract a big fish that's hiding up under the edge of this grass. I'm not targeting the fish that are way back up in this grass like that. I'm just targeting the fish that are hanging out on this grass edge trying to ambush bait. And that is why we throw this parallel cast because it keeps our bait in the strike zone. Oh my gosh, I had one. What I was saying is like I keep this parallel cast cuz it's keeping that bait in the strike zone the whole time. Let's see if this fish will come back and hit it. Oh my goodness. Look at that beautiful skip. It looks so good, guys. Oh my gosh. When I throw a bait like this, it looks so good. But it just makes me lose my marbles, man. Start getting a little delusional. I start envisioning a 10 pounder coming out of that grass going, "Let me slurp that puppy up." That's what happens with me, man. For it to happen, you got to manifest it. You got to visualize it, man. I'm visualizing it right now. I'm visualizing a donkey coming out of this grass, eating it thing. Oh. Oh, it's a giant. That's a giant. Oh, come here, baby. Come here, baby. Y'all, she got a huge head. Huge head and skinny body. What is going on? You looked about five times your size, buddy. Look at that massive head. Oh, baby. Look at the head on that fish, dude. I actually got his gill a little bit. Let me try to get this out. That's what I'm talking about, though, guys. Look at that. Listen, not I will say not the biggest fish in the world. Could have been a lot bigger, but man, would you look at that fish. He is bleeding a little bit, so I want to get him back in the water. But listen, we didn't get a 5 lb pounder on that big swimbait, but I will say that's our biggest one yet, man. We're still upgrading. Not only the lure, but the fish, man. We've been on a roll. Thank you, baby. There she goes. Thank you, baby. So, we got the mag draft knocked off the list. Now, we are moving on to our next bait, which is a bottom bait, and this is a Zoom Old Monster. And this is actually in June Bug Red Flake. And look at that big old worm right there, guys. I believe that is a seven to eight inch worm. Actually, I don't even know, guys. That might be bigger than that. But yeah, this bait right here is a great bait to throw in the summertime and get some big bites. There is not a better bait than a big worm in the heat of the summer like today. So, with us throwing this big worm, the best way to throw it would be on a Texas rig. So, we have a quarter ounce bullet weight right here. And then we have a four extra wide gap hook right there. here. And we're just going to rig this thing weedless. Pretty basic rig. Standard Texas rig. Just like that. And you can catch fish on a big worm like this year round. And just wait. We have a worm that's I would say double this size that we're going to be throwing later. But I would still consider this a pretty big worm. And you know, in the summertime, these bass are more lethargic. Therefore, giving up a bigger bait option like this big worm can tend to get some really good bites. Without further ado, let's get the cast in here, guys, and see what we can get into. Those last two baits took a while. Will this big worm take a while? I have no idea, but I guess we're gonna find out. The one thing is I want to continue to increase our fish size because I feel like every time we've increased the bait, our fish has at least got a little bit bigger. Man, we've been screaming about these tree lines all day and for the most part, it has not been good. It has not been good at all. Those fish have just have not been hiding under these trees. But I will say if there is a bait that's going to catch these fish up in the trees, it's going to be a Texas rig. So the one thing to think about is when you're fishing the banks and they're not biting like that, especially on a hot day, most of these fish are going to be in the middle on any bottom structure right here. It kind of necks down in the middle and creates this little tiny ditch. So it's shallow up on the banks, is deeper right there, slap dab in the middle. So all I'm doing is dragging this worm right through that ditch. And I bet you there's some fish here. Come on, Big Bertha. I think Big Bertha is right there, man. Right where I just thrown. I think Big Bertha is just chilling right there on the edge of that tree. Let me get a Big Berth a bite, baby. Come on now. >> Two hours later. >> Well, guys, I've been fishing with this worm for a very long time. And I decided to come all the way over to this other side of the lake here. As you can tell, there's some baby bass schooling. And this is a side of the lake that I usually don't fish and I wanted to throw this big worm on the edge of the grass over here and see if we can get any luck. I wish I fish this side more often. Just feel like I never come all the way back here. So, I was like, you know what? We're having a little bit of trouble with the worm. Let's go try some new water. And I will say this part of the lake or andor slash pond is a lot clearer. Or not clear, is a lot dirtier. The other side of the lake is a lot clearer. Oh my. Okay, I'm gonna keep it a stack with y'all. I cannot even believe. Hold on, man. One, this is a 8 in bait. Okay, I'm pretty sure it's 8 in. This fish is probably 6 in. He's got a deformed tail. I don't even know what's going on. And he ate that worm all the way in the back of his throat. Dude, what is going on, man? Look at that. Literally, the worm is bigger than the Is it as big as the fish? That is literally ridiculous, man. What is going on? Okay, with that being said, I think we need to catch one more. I'm not even going to count that fish. Well, there's clearly fish up in that grass. Let's keep on fishing for a minute, guys. There's a lot of fish schooling around us, too. I saw some fish blowing up behind us. Some fish way out there. This whole part of the lake seems really active, but I feel like that does not pass to to move on to the next round. Bro, that is a teeny weeny fish. See if we can at least catch one more. Hopefully this is not a mistake with me because it took us a while to get that bite. But who knows? They might be loaded back here. We might be able to catch a dang 5 pounder in five cast. You never know. We got to continue our streak of catching a big fish with the bigger baits. Man. Oh gosh. If he had it for like 2 seconds and he spit out, I might have lost my worm. It's on there. It's good. I'm try little left corner right there. I could have been a little small one picking it up. Just had the back of it. Oh my gosh, look at those bass. Oh my gosh, he's chasing me. Look at him. They're chasing my worm. Those bass are no bigger than 3 in. Man, man, we have thrown this worm on the far side in the middle over here. And nothing but one little mini bass. That's the size of the worm. It's not even like I'm getting other nibbles. I'll tell you, these fish are just out in the middle, man. I know that's exactly what it is. Fish are not up on the bank right now. It's too hot for that. Maybe in the morning and in the evening, but in the day like this, I think they're all pushed out in the center. Oh yeah, it's a miracle. Oh gosh, I didn't even move the worm. That feels like a good one too, guys. I think. Decent fish. Way bigger than the last one. Way bigger, but still not big. Beautiful fish though. Gosh, he hammered that thing, guys. Right there on the big old worm. And just know that this worm I have one double its size that we're going to be using here in a little bit. So, don't be thinking this thing's giant because we got one double. It can eat it. That's a pretty old fish on the old June bug red worm. Not a giant by any means, but a pretty old bass. And I appreciate it. I guess that officially breaks our streak of not only upgrading our bait, but upgrading the fish. But that's okay. We still got a couple more big baits left. And in my opinion, those are the baits that are going to pull the biggest bites. Moving on to one of the biggest baits that we are going to be throwing today. And this is actually called the 9 in Nessie. It's a very large swimbait. It's just a little glide bait. This is a glide bait. And it's actually a soft plastic glide bait. As you guys can tell, it's got this like rubbery material. And look at how freaking massive that swimbait is. This should entice a big girl. I don't know how easy it is to get a bite on this thing. This honestly might be the toughest bait that we've thrown today, even over the last bait that we're going to do, which is even bigger than this. But I guess we'll just have to find out. We're going to fish this thing up shallow around some of this grass and lay downs and see what we can get ourselves into. Hopefully, we'll see us a dang seven pounder come out of that grass and just swallow this thing whole. Which when you're throwing a bait like this, this is what that's really what you're looking for. And what gives us some good luck today, I've actually caught some big fish in this exact location with this swimbait, but I've also caught some small fish on it as well. So, hopefully we'll catch the biggest one that we've ever seen on this swimbait. I mean, if there's fish in this grass, this big girl should call them out. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh. Oh gosh, dude. Oh my gosh. That was like a 4 pounder. If the boat was further away from the bank, man, he probably would have ate it. Oh my gosh. Oh, gave me a heart attack. We just started throwing this thing. That is the crazy part about big swimbaits, guys. There's something about that S motion in a glide bait and throwing it around some good cover like this that would just call out some of the biggest aggressive bass. Even if they don't eat it, most of the time they're going to follow it out, which honestly gives you even more of a heartbreak. But the fact that we got some action on this swimbait right away is a great sign. Let's just keep on casting, put our head down, and hopefully get one to actually commit. Gosh, that was crazy. My heart is still racing. So Nessie just looks like a massive shiner, man. Like a massive shiner. Oh my gosh. You can skip this bad boy. That's dangerous. When you got a 9 in swimbait like that, you can skip. That's a dangerous tool right there. So, one thing I'm trying to do with this swimbait is I'm trying to get it in these little tight spots up in the shade. And usually when you do that, you can get a re reaction bite. Just like that. You can get a reaction bite. It's literally coming out of my mouth. I was literally about to say they can blow up on it. Oh my gosh. Well, that was insane. Maybe we can get one bigger than that to blow up on it. That was crazy, though. That was our first uh official eat. That's the thing. When you're throwing it up in those little crevices in the shade, you tend to get a reaction bite because what a bass is thinking when it's positioned up on the bank, there's not many places for that bait fish to go. When you're throwing that thing out in the middle in open water, that fish can pretty much go in any direction it wants. So, a bass is going to rather want to ambush the bait closer to the bank than it would out here in the middle. So, when you throw it up there and the bass is just chilling, he just wants to tackle it. Literally, just how that bass did. That was pretty crazy. That was one thing I was going to add, too. I wouldn't be surprised if one blows up on it like a top water with how close it is to the surface. And fish literally took the words out of my mouth. So, one thing, too, is like just cuz I threw a cast on that edge there, I didn't throw it back up in here. So, I still want to make that cast. You'd be surprised making a second cast like that, how much that can do. That first fish that followed me back, I actually made two casts in the same spot. It's not a bad idea if a spot looks really good to throw multiple casts in it. So, we haven't thrown in the middle yet. We've been just throwing along the bank, you know, trying to keep what we're casting at pretty visual. But, I'll tell you, on a hot summer day like today, those fish tend to get out in the middle. We've seen a lot of activity in the middle. So, we need to throw this bait around and see there's any out there that are more aggressive. Oh. Oh, no. Oh my gosh, that was such a good cast up under that tree, too. It's perfect shade. It's got lay downs, got a little bit of wind, got some bait nearby. Fish freaking tackled this thing. Let's see if we'll eat it again. I didn't stick him at all. Gosh, it's two bites so far. Had a couple followers as well. Oh man, not easy to get him to commit to this big thing. That's the difference between big baits, normal size baits, and small baits. These big ones takes a specific fish to want to eat it. So, we have been throwing this swimbait for a very long time. We've had two blowups and one follow. And what concerns me is the follows because usually like if I don't have a ton of bites on it, but I have follows, at least the fish are interested. We've only had one follow on this thing um minus the two bites. So, one thing I want to do is actually switch up and start targeting some fish out here in the middle. I feel like the banks are really hot right now, guys. And I feel like the fish are just not up there. They're actually out here in the middle. So, let's try to get out here and see if we can call some big fish to the top of this thing. That's the one thing is this bait does not sink very fast. It sinks very slow. So, we can get it down the water a little bit, but it just takes a very long time. So, maybe we can call them up. But the one thing I will say, there's been a lot of blowups out here. I don't know how big the fish are. That was my only concern. didn't seem like there might have been smaller schools of fish blowing up, but hey, we got to at least try it. And I will say the last time I was out here with Adub, I threw randomly in the middle with a swimbait and I caught the biggest fish of the day. Oh. Oh my gosh. There he is. There he is on the big 9 in Nessie baby. Oh. Oh gosh. Oh gosh. It's a giant. It's a freaking giant. That's five plus pounder. Oh, his head is so big, dude. Oh my god, look. Oh my god. Look at that fish. Yep. The big ones are in the middle, guys. He's barely hooked. Oh my gosh, dude. Woo! Holy cow. Look at that bass, dude. Gosh, that's the big girl we've been looking for. Oh my goodness, guys. Look at that big fish on the giant Nessie, dude. Holy cow. She kissed it like three times before she ate it. We haven't been fishing out here in the middle this whole time. And finally, we decided to throw out there with that big old Nessie and catch this freaking toad, baby. Look at the head on that fish. I'm going to tell you right now, that is a 8 lb fish. If the fish was actually filled out, he's very skinny. But the head on that fish is ridiculous. And that is a freaking monster. Come on, baby. All that hard work paid off, dude. All that time we waited caught us a dang giant. Oh my gosh. Well guys, I guess the big ones are hiding out in the middle. That's going to um key us off for our final round and our final bait. I think we should spend some time out here in the middle. And that is probably the location that we're going to find a 10-lb giant. But that is a monster fish. Let's go ahead and get a release on her and tie on our final bait. Thank you, baby. Gosh, man. That's close to a six pounder all day long. Oh, that's the moments we live for, guys. Especially when we've been throwing that swimbait for a very long time. Didn't get many bites. To have that big girl come up and eat it is just the coolest thing in the world. Look at her go. Come on, baby. That's what I'm talking about. We waited all day for that moment. And that is why we fish right there, guys. Going out in the outdoors, having the excitement of never knowing what can bite the lure that's on your line. And especially when we're out in a place like the 10 lb wonderland, you never know what's going to happen. And that is why we come out here and fish right now. Come on, baby. Now, I'll tell you guys, the only thing is we have one more bait. It is way bigger than that one. And I'll tell you, the only thing that'll make this video even better is to catch obviously a bigger fish on that bait, but more importantly, the 10 pounder, baby. So, let's go ahead and tie this thing on and get to casting. Now, here goes nothing. The final bait of the day, the biggest one that we have thrown yet. We have one of these old big old Bass Pro Shops worms. Now, this worm is 12 in long. It is the same length as a jelly worm, and I wanted to bring the jelly worm out, but I could not find it. It's just slightly skinnier. But that is a big old worm right there for our final bait. And with us catching a big one out here in the middle, I think we should tie this thing up on a Texas rig and just really fish this middle section. We have an opportunity right now, guys, to catch us a giant. And that's exactly what we're going to do. Gosh, we spent so much time, guys, on that one fish. But it paid off, dude. Oh, it paid off. Only thing that can make it better is to catch one double that one size. And we know it's possible in this pond. So, here's our big old worm. Now, let's get to casting, guys. Come on, big fish. Oh my gosh. Right, dude. Right where my line's going in the water. One just blew up there. There's some big girls out in this neck of the woods, man. You know, it's funny. All day we've been trying to fish the banks to get some really cool exciting bites, which I don't really regret doing. But ever since we came out here, we kind of knew. I was talking about it. I'm like, "Hey, we need to be fishing in the middle." But if I knew that those fish were going to be that big, I would have been casting in the middle this whole day. Oh my gosh, I got them. Oh my gosh. Not a big one. Woo! She dancing for me. All right, guys. cuz we're going to make a truce to ourselves. We're throwing this thing back and we're going to catch another one. Don't get me wrong, that's a that's a pretty fish. It's a good two pounder. That is not what we're looking for for the last bait today. After catching that last one, I got to throw at least another cast, dude. Got to at least catch one more. Oh, come on, big girl. Give me a dang seven pound. Give me a 10 pounder. Make sure we're at the 10 pounder pound. Just give me a 10. Uhoh. That might be a good one. Oh, it's not. It's not. But I will tell you, it's pretty crazy to see a fish eat a worm. We saw that twice today where the worm is actually the same size as a fish. But there we go. That is a fish on the final worm. I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
