Hey, uh we are at EA. My name is Jan and I'm going to show you our technology highlight when it comes to >> So it says SQD miniLEDD. Uh this is SQ SQD. >> Yes, SQD and S stands for super. So on the super. So these are super quantum dot mini LEDs. So on these guys, we do not deal with regular QLED anymore. We deal with super QLED. A lot better technology. the most recent technology of quantum dot. Do >> you work with Nanosys to make this happen? >> Yeah, we work together with Nanosis. This the best quantum dot implementation so far. >> Exactly. Exactly. Exclusively for TCL. This is the core. So we still rely on our backlighting technology called mini LED. And we improved the zone counts significantly. So density of the zones is a lot higher. What is it showing on the screen here? >> So, these are the microscopes. So, you can take a look how how do they really look? >> They all are blue and improved quantum dot technology here. The quantum dot layer transforms the blue light into pure white light into >> super technology. Exactly. Based on mini LED, the true mini LED, the full array local dimming. For example, the guy behind you, X11L in 98 in, it's based on more than 20,000 independently dimmable zones. >> So the light up to 100% BT 2020 >> all wide color gamut >> all scenes. >> All right. And also we have better colors here thanks to the quantum dots and we have to filter those colors better. So that's why we also have improved our panels. So these three things, the backlighting and these two core improvements, they basically deliver multiple benefits. I I see here it looks like um uh Brussels. No, I mean it's the it's the atoms. What are you talking about? Is it like uh what is this? How does it work? Uh it's the better filtration on the panel side of things. So the final layer of the panel has RGB filters and uh they are densier so they can filter the batters better the colors better less than 5 nm narrower together with super quantum dot it delivers white color gamuts all in all scenes because RGB is also wide color gamut technology but RGB delivers great results in tests when there is a large area of a single color. But when it comes to displaying multiple colors at once, the >> it just looks so great. >> Gets weaker. >> Is it going to cost? No, it's not going to cost €100,000, right? It's not 98,000. >> No, it ain't. It ain't going to be affordable. >> It's actually a lot more affordable. And uh the X11 is top of the range. Uh you can see how beautiful the picture is. very bright highlights and great blacks at the same time. But here what we also show is C8. And actually this is my favorite, my personal favorite because it shares so many good things in common with X11 L but is a lot more affordable. >> Uh so so our a lot more affordable for 98 in >> even more affordable than the other one. >> Yeah. Yeah. A lot more affordable. And still they will get all this tech. >> Yeah. Yeah. Only the density of the zones uh is little bit >> little bit less >> little bit less zones and a little bit less bright. >> But still it has those >> it's better not to have too much brightness. No, because sometimes if you have too much brightness um it's too much. You know what I mean? >> Yeah, I know. But that guy over there, X11L, is capable of doing 10,000 nits, which is also the maximum of today's HDR content. So there's no clipping, no detail loss. >> What is the brightness peak here? >> Uh this less >> this is less. >> And uh what what do you mean by fourth generation LED TV? >> Uh virtually zero border. >> This is related to our beautiful design. You can see it here or we can take a look at it over there. It means that we have got rid of the gap which is usually between the end of the screen and the bezel. So there's no gap and we have almost completely eliminated the bordering area between the end of the picture and the end of the >> border to hold the whole thing together. >> But so this is the frame and the build quality is also nice. But anyway, the screen to body ratio here is beautiful. Is very very large. >> Nice. >> Very nice. >> So this is exciting here.
