Hey guys, it's Nate aka the foot
accountant. Welcome back to the channel.
Today we're talking about pre-order FC
points. One of the most popular topics
of discussion at the beginning of a new
Ultimate Team every single year is what
do you do with those FC points that EA
give us for pre-ordering the Ultimate or
this year ultimate plus edition of the
game? Do you save them for evolutions or
season passes later on down the line
when you don't want to spend your coins
on those and save your FC points for
that? Do you spend them in draft where
you could get some really good rewards,
but it takes more time and you have to
be better at the game? Or do you spend
them on packs? That's the fun way to
spend these FC points, right? We're
going to talk about that today because
there is an obvious clear winner of
where you should spend your pre-order FC
points, but it's not with the packs that
you probably would imagine to make the
most coins out of this. That is, because
coins are king in the early stages of
the game. Let's discuss today, guys. If
you're excited for this one, drop a

and subscribe if you are new. Now, when
you log into the ultimate or ultimate
edition game of FC27, when you log in
for the very first time to the full
game, that is when you will get your
2,000 FC points. Now, I actually logged
in early today thanks to the EA Critter
Network Access, and I didn't get my
2,000 FC points. But I'm hoping that
that will happen on the 18th when this
game does open up and we get the rest of
our pre-order rewards. right on the 18th
as well. That's when we're expecting to
get the 85 plus overall icon pack and
the Hall of Foot player pick if you got
the Ultimate Plus edition. But back to
the FC points, we are expecting these to
drop on that 18th date as well when you
log into the game for the first time.
But as you see here, for the Ultimate
Edition, we're getting 6,000 points. For
the Ultimate Plus, we're getting 10,000
points. Notice the fine print text. It
is over a certain number of drops. This
is the second year that EA is splitting
up all of the FC points that they are
giving us as a part of these pre-order
rewards. We don't get all 6,000 or all
10,000 at once. That'd be a lot of coins
straight away. They split them up over
multiple drops. And if we're reading the
fine print for this year's release of
the FC points, EA have said that the FC
points will be distributed in three
equal increments. So that would be the
6,000 FC points over three increments.
The 10,000 is over five equal increments
of 2,000 each. And they have said here,
the first one will be granted with your
initial login into the game. The second
and third distributions will be granted
by the 15th day of the following two
months, respectively. Now, last year,
the very first time that EA did these
split up releases, they messed up the
times and the dates for what they
originally said they were going to do.
Last year they said they were going to
drop them on September 19th and then
October 19th and then November 19th. But
October 1st came around the night of
October 1st dropped and we got our
second distribution of 2,000 FC points.
The second of the third that we were
going to get last year for the 6,000
points, right? 2,00 2,000 2,000. Same
way this year, but this year they kind
of loosened up the wording. They just
said it's going to happen between the
beginning of the month and the 15th of
the month. So, you'll get 2,000 when you
log in. We'll probably get 2,000 in
early October and also early in
November. It's hard to say exactly when,
but then of course begins the discussion
of how do you want to spend those FC
points? And that is the big discussion.
Now, guys, I think there's three ways
that you can spend these. The number one
option is packs. The number two option
is draft. And the number three option is
evolutions or season passes. Now, let's
start by discussing the worst option in
my opinion to spend these FC points
first and that is in evolutions. Guys,
EA have said themselves that evolutions
this year in FC 27 are going to be less
impactful and they are going to come at
more intentional moments. Like this is
their exact wordage here. You can expect
to see impactful evolutions throughout
the year just at a lower frequency. And
when I think of impactful evolutions,
I'm talking about power curve pushing
EVOs like the 200k or that one 500,000
coin EVO that we had last year in FC26.
We had a couple of those, right, in
FC25. It seems like we're going to get
less of those this year because EVOs
last year were like crazy. Why did you
even need to do SBC's or open store
packs? Because you could just create
insane cards through evolutions. EA's
trying to nerf the EVOs and their
overpoweredness a little bit this year.
Hopefully, they're still good. We still
like EVOs. We want them to be usable. We
want them to be good, but I don't think
this is a good place to be spending your
pre-order FC points even through the
later distributions of the FC points
that we will get in October and in
November. I think there's a clear space
to spend these and it is not in
Evolutions. I also would rope in the
season pass discussion to this. A lot of
people, including myself, last year
saved FC points for like season passes
months down the road, and that did work
last year, but this year, with the way
this is going, and especially with the
way the market is going already, I don't
really think it's worth it to be saving
our FC points that long into the year.
Even in November, let's say the
beginning of November, we get our third
distribution of the uh 2,000 FC points.
Whether you're getting two more
distributions to get 10,000 total FC
points for the Ultimate Plus edition or
whether you're just getting the three
distributions of 2,000 to get 6,000
total FC points, by that time we will
still be in season 2. That means all of
the season passes are still covered. I
believe the first is it the first season
pass or maybe it's just the first. I
thought it was the first three season
passes that were covered by the Ultimate
Edition. It looks like it is not the
first three. It is just the first one.
So, there maybe could be a life where
you enjoy having those FC points for the
second and maybe for the third premium
pass that do come out. I think that's
maybe okay to save your your points for
if you have the regular Ultimate
Edition. So, that's one backward step
that I would say maybe for the season
pass it could be worth it later on. But
for myself was the Ultimate Plus
edition. And if any of you guys have
Ultimate Plus, I would definitely not
spend your points on the season pass
because we get the first five seasons
included with the pre-order of the game.
So, you don't have to pay at all for
those. Those are already included. Now,
the second most popular way to spend
your FC points anytime you get them from
drops 1 2 3 4 or five is in draft.
Right? A lot of people look to FootDraft
because it's 300 FC points for a draft,
which is equivalent to 15,000 coins. And
that can get you more than 15,000 coins
worth or more than what 300 FC points
can get you in the store. So, the
potential here is you're good at the
game, you have time to play the game,
and you don't care to get the coins
immediately when you log in. And if
that's you, if you're an elite level
player in this game, by all means, go
for it. I would say go for it. I would
say go for the draft, get involved, play
those games, have fun using the very fun
cards, the higher rated cards. I played
a couple of drafts yesterday, my first
day on the game, and they were a blast
because I was using cards like Delp
Pierro, who was absolutely cracked. I
was using Thierry Enri, I was using
Ziko, I used Hullet at center back. It
was a blast. So, draft is very fun, but
it's very sweaty and it's very
competitive. You need to be an elite
level player to be kind of making that
worth your time spending your FC points
in the draft. But you have that's why
you have to win or get to the third
round of the draft to really make it
worth it and to get the tradeable packs
back and the rewards back that would
make the time value worth playing in
draft. So you can do a good number of
drafts with those 2,000 FC points and
then of course you get 2,000 more. You
can do more drafts. same thing when you
get your third installment. But that's
just up to you and your skill level.
Now, the number one option, and it
always has been the number one option,
is to spend your FC points on packs
because coins right away at the
beginning of the game are king. Coins
are always king. But getting coins as
fast as you can up here into the top
right of your coin balance when you log
onto this game for the first time is one
of the most important things you can do
to set your account up for success for
the future. Right. We're getting a lot
of coins this year from end of match
rewards, which is fantastic. But these
FC point packs are also giving us a lot
of coins from quick sale value. This is
what we just learned from seeing the
first packs of the day yesterday on this
game. I'm talking about these preview
packs. Even I opened one preview pack. I
didn't actually buy it, but the new way
that they have these preview packs and
these quicksell values, the players
quickell for a lot. And especially the
way that these large gold packs, which
are the new 7.5K packs, the way these
are structured, you're guaranteed three
player items, but you can get more than
that. And I watched multiple people
yesterday open these 7.5K packs with FC
points and get five, six, seven players.
And those packs are quicks selling for
four and a half to sometimes 5,000 coins
per pack. That is an incredible amount
of coins. Now, currently, if you're not
getting more than three players, if
you're getting right around three
players, which is the minimum, you're
going to be quick selling each of these
7.5k packs for 3,000 coins a piece.
That's going to make you a solid chunk
of change if you're opening uh what is
it like 12 of them or 13 of them that
you can open uh with your 2,000 FC
points. Is that math correct? Let's do a
quick calculator check here because that
is 2,000 FC points divided by 150 FC
points per pack. It is 13. So, you'll
have a little bit left over, but you can
open 13 of those packs. So, let's say
you're getting 3,000 coins per 13 packs.
That's 39,000 coins minimum basically
that you're going to be making. If you
quick sell everything, you may not quick
sell everything because of course some
of the cards may be good packs. And if
you pack somebody like a Laminia Mall,
then you're going to want to hold on to
them because they're going to appreciate
in value and you're going to want to
keep them in your team. But that's the
upside with opening packs is getting a
lot of coins and getting them right
away. Now, this is where for what we
just learned in Etsy 27, the surprise
lies within because with the way the
quicksell values work for players and
with the price of silver packs being
onethird of the price of the gold packs
in the store, you can open three silver
packs for the same price as one gold
pack. And three silver packs can get you
about 4.5k
of discard value, which means you're
basically doing that math of getting 3k
per pack for the gold packs. You're
getting 4.5k
for three silver packs, which is the
same price. That means you are going to
make a lot more coins. Let's do that
math again. Let's pull up the
calculator. If we do 13 of those, since
it would be the same metric, 13 * 4.5K,
oops, 4500, that would be 58,000 coins
instead of 39,000 coins as basically a
minimum. Now, opening the silver packs
is not as fun and it is not as cool
because you can't pack Luminium all from
a silver pack. And that's the draw to
opening the 7.5K packs with your 2,000
FC points. And when you get 2,000 FC
points down the line, that's going to be
the draw with them as well. However, it
just comes down to your personal
preference. Do you want that chance at a
big or bigger pack pull? Do you want
that chance at hitting something good?
Which I'll be honest, the odds look
pretty low because after the first day
of being on the market, there is not a
lot of high rated cards like cards
listed over a 100,000 coins on the
market right now, there are very few. I
mean, there's a couple heroes, there's
an icon. I mean, if you you had a
handful here, that's it. like two pages
of cards, some high rats, sure they are
there, but those are probably people
that are opening hundreds and hundreds
of thousands of FC points on those 7.5K
packs. And most people that are opening
2,000 FC points don't hit a big pack
like this that's going to sell for a
couple hundred,000 coins. So, taking the
guaranteed 58k over the guaranteed 39 or
40,000 coins doesn't sound like too bad
of an idea if coins are the number one
motivator
for you when you're getting these FC
points in the beginning of the game. And
that is the number one motivator for me.
Now, as a content creator, I also don't
find it super fun, and I wouldn't
imagine that it would be super fun to
sit here and watch me open silver packs
for like 30 minutes. Maybe it would take
like 15 minutes to get all of them open
with my 2,000 FC points, right? That
would take a bit of time. But if you're
looking for the best value in terms of
however many coins you can get from your
pre-order points, the silver packs are
going to be what you want to open. So,
you're going to want to open those and
then quick sell all the players and all
the everything to get the optimal
quicksell value. And then you'll just do
that. Open all those packs, quicksell
them, and collect the coins. So, that is
the breakdown that I wanted to show you
guys. We were kind of seeing this all
pan out yesterday. People tweeting about
it like Jake on Twitter and then even
hearing people talk about it in the
stream. I wish I would have been able to
maybe even try it myself if I would have
gotten my 2,000 pre-order FC points
because you know what? You could do this
too. You could do some of the gold
packs. You could do some of the silver
packs. Split the difference, right?
Maybe you do like five of the gold packs
just to test your luck and then you do
the rest on the silver packs so that you
get that guaranteed quick sale value.
That would be a middle road that would
be pretty nice as well. So, whenever I
do get my 2,000 FC points, I will be
going to the store and opening those
packs because getting the coins as fast
as you can so that you can go and invest
in players or go and trade in players,
whatever you're going to do with those
coins, maybe it's even to go and buy
players for the gallery, to go and buy
players for SPCs, whatever it may be,
right? Coins are king. Maybe you're
going to go in invest in players that
you think are going to rise in price
over these next couple of days as people
log on to the game for the first time
and you want to have coins in that.
Whatever you want to do with your coins,
coins are king. And if you have that
currency, then you have the opportunity
to make a lot of coins with those coins.
So that in my opinion is the breakdown
of how you should spend your 2,000 FC
points. I mean, it's always kind of been
the coins that's always kind of been or
sorry, it's always been the packs that's
been the answer to get the coins right
away. Um, and even as I think about
going down into October and as we head
down the line into November as well, I'm
going to still probably sit here and
say, "Yeah, open the packs." And maybe
even the silver packs will become more,
you know, interesting and more lucrative
in a month's time or in a couple weeks
time because getting 50,000 coins at any
time of the game is sick. Like that's
what you get from rivals rewards. That's
like what you get from Foot Champs
rewards for the middle tier like reward
sections. I think that's amazing just to
have a 50,000 coin injection of coins
into your club like this from opening
those silver packs or those gold packs
in October or November and even into
December when the Ultimate Plus, you
know, distributions of those points are
still going to be given out. I think
that's an incredible way to look at
things. Now again, you do have the
opportunity to spend on a premium pass
if you only have the ultimate edition of
the game and you only have those three
drops. So that's kind of one way you're
going to have to look at it and decide
what you want to do. But hopefully
opening the packs right now in the early
stages of the game gives you coins so
that you can go trade and continue to
acquire that currency and make more
coins so that you can then afford all of
the EVOs and all of the season passes
and everything else that you would want
to afford with the coins that you have
built up in the early game stage. Does
that kind of make sense? So like getting
the coins as fast as you can right now
to then use those coins to trade, build
those coins. We're playing games and
building coins this year. I mean, we've
I feel like I talk about it in every
video right now and every like other
sentence I'm thinking about. Yeah, we're
making a lot of coins from playing the
game because it's true. This is
completely different about this year in
SC27. That is super duper sick. Coins
don't think don't feel like they're
going to be a rare commodity. Like I've
got 30,000 coins right now and all I've
done is a couple of trades. Like I've
probably made 5,000 coins of profit.
That's about it. But I've done
objectives which have given me coin
boost and I've played games and I've
also done objectives that just give
straight up coins. Coins are everywhere
to start this game and that's going to
be interesting for the market as I keep
saying every single day. But that is
another reason why I think having more
coins from opening those pre-order
points on packs could give you a nice
little head start at the beginning to
keep using coins to grow your coins. So
