How To Get BEST OP WEAPON AT THE START! The Great Martyr's Blade EARLY Boss Cheese - Mortal shell 2
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
This Mortal Shell 2 guide demonstrates a method to acquire the powerful Great Martyr's Blade weapon very early in the game, approximately twenty minutes after completing the prologue. The primary requirement for this strategy is defeating the first boss, Magdelena Delena, located at the Lady Woods gate accessible from the initial beacon in the open world. Although the boss utilizes various area-of-effect attacks that can be dodged, she is considered quite straightforward to defeat even with low levels and minimal upgrades. Upon her defeat, players must cleanse the resulting beacon to gain access to over eggs, which are essential for clearing a specific corruption blockage later in the journey.
After securing the necessary resources and clearing the corruption, the player follows a specific path through a village and into a well to reach a dungeon-like area accessed via a portal. Inside this new zone, the objective is to navigate past traps involving floor pads that trigger wall-mounted arrows and defeat several enemies, including a large gangly foe. The guide highlights a crucial mechanic where players must lure the large enemy into a specific cell area by kiting him through gates. Once inside, pressing a button on the wall locks the gate behind the player, trapping the dangerous enemy in a separate room while allowing safe access to the rest of the dungeon.
The final step involves dealing with the trapped large enemy who is now locked behind the gate. While firearms are ineffective against him because they only damage the gate structure, the Great Martyr's Blade can be used to attack him from behind safely. The only caution required is to avoid standing too close when he glows and extends spikes from his armor. After eliminating this threat, a previously sealed gate on the opposite side of the room opens, revealing the location of the Great Martyr's Blade. This process allows players to obtain one of the game's best weapons at a very low level, effectively cheeseing the progression system to gain a significant advantage early on.

In this Mortal Shell 2 video, I bring
you a complete guide on how to get the
incredible heavy weapon of the Great
Martyr's Blade super early in the game,
more or less 20 minutes after you've got
past the prologue. And the best thing
about this is, guys, I'll showcase you
how you can cheese the boss in order to
get this weapon. Let's go. How's it
going, guys? My name's DP Jen. If you do
enjoy the video, leave me a like. It
really helps out. And if you like what
you see and want to see more, be sure to

So, what is an absolutely super powerful
weapon easily capable of almost
one-tapping those minor enemies, the
Great Martyr's Blade is a weapon that,
although it's slower to swing, it hits
so hard. So, with time combat, knowing
what you're doing, this is definitely
one of the best weapons in the game. And
I'm going to show you how you can get
this thing super, super early. The only
single requirement to get this is you
need to defeat possibly the first boss
in the game in uh Magdelena, Delena, uh
the lady woods. I say this because I
believe you need to have enough over
eggs to clear out a curse. Um and this
clears a path for you to move forward in
getting this weapon. But again, this
boss is super, super easy, too. So,
yeah. Now, if you don't know where uh
Magdelena is located, she is a boss that
you can just run to from the very first
beacon within the open world. And you
see me do this on screen now. So, she's
located within this gate which you have
to enter. Now, along the path to this
boss, there are beacons that you will
run to. And I'll show you where they
are. Now, what I always recommend you
cleansing all beacons, so don't skip
that. I also recommend as well, guys,
exploring. Now, you can do this before
or after you come to this boss and get
this sword. That's completely up to you.
But I always recommend you don't skip on
those cleansing of the beacons. Do that
straight away, people.
>> So when you get to this boss, you can
use a someone,
but you really don't have to. I don't
think it's needed, but that's up to you.
The boss is quite straightforward. She
uses many AoE attacks, which you can
avoid,
and you can then lay down that damage
between her attacks. At first, I thought
I'd struggle with this boss, but it's
quite easy to do after a few attempts. I
did this literally right off the bat,
people, with barely any levels. So yeah,
that's the first thing I did. Now, but
on defeating this boss, you want to
cleanse the beacon that appears. This
will give you the over and a cutscene,
and then guys, you return to Marrow
Keep, and here I recommend you go into
the over egg room and siphon those
collected eggs, people.
>> I'm glad the lady shall not trouble us
anymore.
>> Well done.
>> Okay, so from this point, guys, you now
want to push forward to getting this
amazing weapon. So, from the very first
beacon within the open world in the uh
Widow's Overlook, follow the path I take
on screen now to this next beacon.
Okay, so from this next beacon, guys,
you want to follow the path I take now.
This is where you come to that point
where that corruption needs to be
cleared. You'll get the option when you
move close to it. This is why I believe
you need to get those over eggs and
defeat that first boss. I could be wrong
here, but I did read along that this was
indeed the case.
So, after you remove that corruption,
guys, push forward and follow the path I
take into this village, and then you'll
come to this well, which you want to
enter.
So, once you're down here, guys, again,
this is a place I do ex- well, I expect
you to explore. I think you should
explore. Now, you can do this after
you've got this weapon. That's your
choice though.
So, once you're down here, guys, follow
the path I take on screen. Now, you want
to stay up top, and you want to come
across these platforms.
So, you will eventually come to this
small corridor room here with an
annoying enemy in here. Here on the wall
on your right, there's a button you need
to press. You press this button, it
opens a gate, which we need to take the
path into.
So, upon doing this, guys, follow all
the path I take on screen now into that
unlocked gate.
Here, you'll come to this point where
you need to be careful. There are pads
on the floor, which if you or enemies
stand on them, arrows are fired out of
walls. You can just run by them though,
but just be careful.
So, running past them, follow the path I
take, and you need to come down to uh
this other corridor, too. Then, at the
end of this corridor, guys, there is a
rope, which leads you out of this place,
which you want to take.
Okay, so once you are out of this place,
here, you want to trigger any nearby
beacon, which follow where I go on
screen now, guys. Um it's important
because if you do accidentally die, you
don't have to run all this way back. So,
you just come and trigger this beacon.
So, once you have this beacon done, head
back to where we exited that well.
>> [screaming]
[groaning]
>> So, from this point, guys, you want to
enter this dungeon-type area through
this portal. Here, guys, run down, take
the lift down, and interact with this
object. This teleports you to this
cell-type place.
>> When you're here, guys, firstly break
the lock and take out this big old
gangly enemy.
Then any stragglers that may be
wondering around. Also, loot this place
while you are here, guys. I don't
believe you can come back here once
you've done this actual this part with
getting this weapon.
Then, guys, break into this cell and
press this button on the wall. This
unlocks this gate.
>> [groaning]
>> So, once you've opened this gate, guys,
you will notice some strangly ass
enemies and someone who definitely ate
all the pies. He does not skip a meal.
Here, guys, what you want to do is stay
inside of these cells and kite these
enemies, especially that big guy, into
this cell area. And once you get him in
here, guys, you run through that gate
into where that fat dude initially was.
What will happen here, guys, is that the
gate will drop, locking the big guy
behind the gate.
From this point, guys, you just to take
out this stringy folk. And once you've
done this, guys, you can then just hit
this big dude from behind the gate, and
he barely can do any damage to you. The
only thing you will have to be careful
of is when he kind of glows and he
brings spikes out of his armor. That can
hit you if you're too close, but other
than that, guys, you can just hit him
with your sword. What I will say is your
um your gun, your uh firearm won't do
any damage to him. It kind of like hits
the gate and doesn't do anything to us,
but the sword you can attack him with.
So, guys, just take him out. Once you've
done this, a gate on the other side of
the room will indeed open. Within here,
guys, is this weapon. And there you have
it. It is as simple as
that.
People, how you get one of the best
weapons in the game super super early. I
did this literally, guys, at like a
level five or six. Probably a little
higher, but nothing crazy. You can do
this way lower if you need to. So, yeah.
Guys, if you enjoyed the video, leave it
a like. It really helps out. If you like
what you see and want to see more, be
sure to subscribe. And hopefully, guys,
I'll see you on that next
one.
