Video summary
The video provides a comprehensive guide on how to evolve animals in the game Aniimo, addressing common questions about the process, required materials, and necessary conditions. The host explains that while there are numerous animal types and complex menu structures, the evolution mechanic itself is straightforward once you navigate to the Animal Management tab after pressing start. Within this interface, players can view their animal's stats and look for a specific icon resembling a cat with upward arrows next to the "Level Up" button; clicking this reveals exactly what is needed to proceed. It is important to note that the two starting animals, Helian and Lunara, cannot be evolved early in the game, serving as the initial choices for new players before they can begin the evolution journey.
A primary resource required for evolution is a variety of stones, which are distinct from other materials and are primarily obtained by defeating alpha bosses found across different regions on the map. These bosses drop a set amount of stones upon their first defeat, with subsequent drops being random, but players should be aware that repeatedly farming these bosses will deplete their energy reserves known as primagy. Beyond just stones, evolution often involves specific criteria that vary significantly between animals, such as location restrictions, time-of-day limitations, quest completion, or the need to defeat certain creatures multiple times. The game's interface is designed to be intuitive by displaying all these requirements and explaining how to acquire necessary resources directly within the evolution tab, helping players avoid wasting precious materials on impossible tasks.
One of the most interesting aspects of the system is that many animals can evolve into two different forms rather than a single predetermined outcome, giving players meaningful choices in building their teams. These branching paths result in animals with different elemental attributes, such as fire, water, grass, or dark types, which greatly impact team composition and strategic capabilities in end-game scenarios. The requirements for each branch are always completely different, ensuring that players must actively choose which evolution path to pursue based on their current resources and goals. Additionally, if an animal lacks the specific personality trait required for a certain evolution branch, players can use special materials to alter its personality, allowing them to unlock the desired form even if they started with an incompatible individual.
Ultimately, the evolution system in Aniimo is designed to encourage experimentation and strategic planning rather than providing automatic upgrades, rewarding players who invest time and resources into grinding for specific stones or completing complex quests. While the sheer number of animal varieties and forms can be overwhelming at first glance, the game provides clear explanations within its menus to help players understand exactly what they are getting before they spend their limited resources. The host emphasizes the importance of double-checking all requirements and understanding the potential outcomes of each evolution path to ensure that players build a strong and versatile team tailored to their preferred playstyle. By engaging with these systems, players can enjoy a deeper level of customization and progression that sets this game apart from others where upgrades are purely linear.

So, I have had countless questions in
regards to animal and how to actually
evolve animal, what it takes, how you
find the menu, etc., etc. And in this
quick guide, I hope to answer all your
questions in this regard. Let's go.
How's it going, guys? My name is DPG.
And if you do enjoy the video, leave me
a like. It really helps out. And if you
like what you see and want to see more,
be sure to subscribe. Also, before we
start, I just want to say I've created a
dedicated server category within my
Discord for animal players who want to
come, join, play, team up, chat animal,
trade, and much more. My Discord you'll
find linked in the video description.
Okay, so there's an absolute ton of
different animal in this game, but there
are also a tons and tons of menus,
submenus, and things of this nature. So,
I'm not one bit surprised people are
struggling in regard of how to actually
evolve these animal into their more
powerful forms. Now, I will say Helian
and Lunara early game cannot be evolved.
These two, by the way, uh are the two
animal you get to choose, well, you get
to pick one of the two at the start of
the game. So, yeah.
Okay, so to evolve your animal is
actually quite simple. If you press
start, uh
then select the animal management tab.
Then, guys, the animal you want to
evolve, make sure you've clicked on it.
Then, guys, you'll see its stats on
screen. You have three tabs here, but
you want to be within the first tab.
Um and then, guys, at the bottom of the
screen, if you can indeed evolve this
dude up, where it says a level up next
to you, you'll see that little animal
cat looking icon
with arrows pointing upwards. Or, if
you're playing on console, a set could
be left thumb stick in. Uh but, you'll
see it right next to that level up
button. If you click on this, guys, it
will bring up exactly what's needed to
indeed evolve your
animal.
Now, what you will notice here in
regards to using this feature is the
fact that a variety of different
materials are needed. And when I say
this, I don't mean for a specific single
animal. I mean in regards to evolving
different animal, you'll notice
different materials are mostly needed.
And these are stones. There are a
variety of different stones in the game,
but stones as far as I'm aware come from
alpha bosses. Now, these alpha bosses
you'll find on the map in certain
regions. There's always an alpha boss in
every region. And when you take out this
alpha boss, these stones are in its
loot. Well, the first time you defeat
them, you'll get a set bunch of these
stones. And then after that, guys, I
think they're random drops or they're
just like drop down in regards to how
many you get upon you defeating them.
But, keep in mind this will take that
precious energy
in this game known as primagy, um which
you do recuperate over time. But, what I
will say is if you want to to farm a
certain stone from a certain boss over
and over and over, it will deplete. So,
do keep that in mind. It's a system I
haven't seen many many people talk about
or even acknowledge, but it's definitely
in the game and it does limit you
somewhat.
So, that's the one main resource that
will be required to indeed evolve said
animal. But, there's also a variety of
different things you may indeed need.
There are certain requirements you may
need need to unlock the criteria for uh
before you can even spend any material
you may already have. And these
requirements can massively differ. And
there's so many different requirements I
have indeed come across. Like with
certain animal, you have to be at a
certain part of the map. Some you can
only do night time. Some you can only do
daytime. Others require you to take out
the same animal multiple times.
Some requirements to evolve may be tied
to quests. I mean, mean so much here.
It's absolutely unreal, but I do
actually like this feature. I do like
that it isn't just straightforward in
every single sense cuz people be jumping
straight to the very very very best end
game animal right off the bat. So I like
this sort of this sort of grind that
they've added here in regards to getting
the very best animal. That is for sure.
Now back to evolving. The good thing
about this as well guys is it explains
exactly what's needed in regard to every
requirement, how you do it, what needs
to be done, certain resources, how you
get certain resources in regards to the
stones and what have you bosses. It's
all explained within this
evolved tab. You just simply click on
how to get on a certain thing or
if it is a stone and said requirements
are right there before your eyes. So
yeah, very very very intuitive which I
like. I really do. Now another thing you
may indeed notice is the fact that some
animal can evolve two different ways and
this can be for multitude of reasons and
this is where it can indeed seem a
little bit confusing, but let me
explain.
So animal can indeed evolve different
ways giving you different choice of
paths you may want to take your actual
animal. And what this does guys, it just
adds to the build crafting and what's
capable in this game. It really does.
So an animal and how it indeed evolves
different ways, what does it do? It
gives you a choice of an animal you may
actually want or prefer for certain
build or path you're trying to go with.
The good thing here guys though isn't
something to remember. They will never
evolve automatically. That choice will
always be yours. So if you have one
animal, it branches off into two
different animal.
If you meet the requirements for both
evolutions, you get to pick which one
you want to go with which is a great
great feature in my opinion.
But these obviously the requirements for
each will differ massively, and as I
mentioned earlier with resources
and certain criteria needs to be met,
always always seems to be that the two
different branches and requirements for
each are always completely different.
So, yeah, odds are you'll probably hit
one before you hit the other, but either
or, guys,
again, when it comes to evolving, it
isn't automatic. That choice is still
yours.
So, when an animal does branch off or
can branch off into two different
evolutions, these evolutions will offer
differences in regards to stats and
important things like elements that they
do indeed offer. One could be a dark
one, one could be a grass, one could be
water, one could be fire, etc., etc.
And this will obviously be massively
important to your end game build and
what you are looking for even for a
certain team cuz as you probably know,
you can set up various different teams
and just select between each one on the
go if you want to.
Um so, these and things like this are a
nice way for you to not only experiment,
but also build class upon two, which I
absolutely love.
Now, many of these branches, as I said,
will vastly require different things in
order for you to indeed complete said
evolution. Sometimes there's doing
certain quests, sometimes you have to
defeat certain animal, and other times a
personal trait is required for that
novel form, for that branch. Uh this
might mean to even branch off a certain
way, you may need have to catch multiple
of said animal to try and get that
required personality
before even being able to think about
evolving it in that certain way.
Now, these personalities, uh I haven't
seen much in regards to evolving,
uh but if you do land a certain animal
which doesn't have that personality you
need, there are materials you can indeed
use to change the personality of that
animal
too, which will allow you to then go in
the direction of where you want to
evolve this thing. So, yeah guys,
there's a lot going on here with
evolving in this
game. But, as you continue to play,
you'll pick up more systems like this
very, very quickly. But, the fact that
there's so many different varieties and
forms of said animal, there's a lot to
indeed take into account. So, make sure
you're double-checking everything when
it comes to evolving. Make sure you know
what you're actually getting, people,
before you spend those precious
resources.
On that note, the end of the video has
arrived. If you enjoyed it, leave it a
like, really helps out. If you like what
you see and want to see more, be sure to
subscribe. And hopefully, guys, I will
see you on that next
one.
