Video summary
The video presents a success story of a sports coach named Hugh who successfully launched his business in a completely new city from scratch. Despite having no prior client base in this specific location, Hugh managed to secure his first two clients within just five months by implementing a structured approach. His strategy resulted in generating nearly $3,000 in revenue, with one client paying 50% upfront and the remainder later in October, while the second client paid the full amount of $1,425 immediately upon signing. This achievement marks a significant milestone for Hugh, as it was his first time conducting evaluation calls via Zoom to close deals, proving that a systematic method can yield immediate results even when starting fresh in an unfamiliar market.
The core lesson highlighted in this case study is the critical importance of having a standardized system that every parent goes through, rather than relying on ad-hoc interactions like direct messaging to discuss pricing and availability. Hugh's process involves a clear sequence where interested parents first have an introductory call, followed by an evaluation session if they are deemed a good fit, and finally an enrollment call where the contract is signed. This methodical progression ensures that the coach remains in control of every step of the sales journey, which helps to train ideal customers who are more committed and willing to pay premium prices for proven results. By avoiding chaotic back-and-forth communications, the coach builds a professional environment that filters out uncommitted leads and focuses on high-quality prospects.
While the specific three-step process demonstrated by Hugh is highly effective, the video emphasizes that this system should be customized to fit the unique strengths and weaknesses of each individual coach. The creator notes that other coaches they work with have adapted the model in various ways, such as having parents watch educational videos before an evaluation or conducting everything on a single call without a separate evaluation phase. Some even utilize multiple evaluation sessions before allowing a client to sign up, depending on what works best for their specific business dynamics. The key takeaway is that there is no one-size-fits-all solution; instead, coaches must tailor the sales and enrollment process to their own style while maintaining the fundamental principle of a repeatable, organized workflow that drives consistent growth.
Ultimately, this case study serves as proof that with the right system in place, coaches can overcome the challenges of entering a new city and quickly generate significant revenue. Hugh's ability to close two clients so soon after moving demonstrates that structure and control are more important than having an established local reputation or a large network of contacts. For other coaches looking to implement similar strategies or need assistance refining their own business models, the video concludes with an invitation to book a call for personalized guidance. By adopting a customized yet systematic approach, coaches can charge higher fees, attract more committed clients, and build a sustainable business that thrives regardless of their geographic location.

Hey, what's going on coach? Welcome back
to my channel. Today I have another case
study video. This is with a coach who
moved to a brand new city, started from
absolute scratch, and he had previous
experience in his business in a
different city, but he moved to a brand
new city and I want to share this win.
So, coach Hugh posted this on July 15th
inside of my members area. He said,
"Small wins, started in a new city and
signed my first two clients on a
five-month model. First time ever doing
the call evaluation zoom and he's closed
both customers. So, the first client did
1375 where they did 50% up front and the
other 50% in October and the second one
did 1425 all up front. So, it's pretty
much, you know, close to $3,000 in terms
of revenue in the business. And the
thing that I want to highlight in this
video is one of the most major changes
that I help coaches make in my program,
which is you need to have a system that
every parent goes through. So, with him,
particularly, he has it set up to where
the parents do an introduction call. If
they're a good fit, they come to an
evaluation and then he does an
enrollment call where they sign up,
right? So,
it's very systematized. It's not set up
to where they're DMing him, "Hey, what
how much is it?" and then he's trying to
get them to sign up right there. No,
it's we move slowly through this process
with parents where they realize he is in
control. He's in every He's in control
of every step of the process here when
he's talking with parents and that
allows him to train the ideal customers
that pay way more, they're way more
committed. Ultimately, they're paying
for results. And this system is exactly
what I've done with coaches
for years. And not every coach that I
work with does this exact same system.
Um we've customized this down at the end
of the day now to your strengths, your
weaknesses, what's going going the best
setup for you, Something that can be
repeatable
day in day out that works for you. Cuz
there's some coaches I work with right
now, they've modified this to where
they don't even do a sales call at all.
They just have parents watch videos
before they come to the eval. There's
some coaches that just do everything on
one call without the evaluation. There's
some coaches that do this set up that
I'm showing you here. There's some
coaches that do like three evaluation
sessions before someone can even sign
up. So, I try to modify that and
customize that down to your business.
But, this is a great example here
because this coach went to a brand new
city,
basically made $3,000 or close to it uh
with this model just with two clients.
So, if you're watching this and you want
more help with your business and you
want someone to help you implement and
get results and charge numbers like that
or charge numbers that are way higher uh
for your services and program, go below
here, go book a call with me, and I'd
love to chat with you. See you later.
