Dr. Blessy from SRM Institute of Technology Ramapuram described her journey with NPTEL starting as a mandatory requirement before evolving into a voluntary pursuit that greatly upgraded her knowledge base for teaching students effectively. She specifically praised the course on feminist writing by Dr. Abhishek Pari, which offered unique perspectives through animated stories and broadened her understanding in ways she had not encountered previously. As this was her first visit to IIT Madras, Blessy expressed excitement about exploring everything at the institute while thanking the organizers for creating an environment where educators can continuously learn and improve their pedagogical approaches across diverse subjects like English literature.
Dr. Prince representing the Park Group of Institutions shared his long-standing association with NPTEL since 2019, during which he has completed more than forty courses primarily in mechanical engineering along with five management-related ones that earned him a star award this time. He recounted taking the fundamentals of manufacturing engineering course organized by IIT Kharagpur as one of his favorites and mentioned achieving gold medals twice while aiming for perfect scores to stay ahead professionally. Prince explained that even though he has taught certain subjects for many years, NPTEL provides essential extra knowledge that helps him mentor students more effectively so they can shine in their careers, making the award from IIT Madras a source of great pride and motivation for his continued professional development.

an assistant professor. So here I'm very

enthusiastic that
so I am I selected first time as NPTEL
star. So I'm very much
excited. So thank you very much for IIT
Madras for providing such a good event
and organized that organization. So that
is a
the conducting this much of so crowd and
handling this much of crowd is not easy
and also I thank for Sona College of
Technology Management principal and our
HOD to motivate each and every staff to
do the NPTEL courses. Different we are
we are motivating the students
to enroll in NPTEL and to get skills. So
and they enhance their skills. So all
those things are
reaches to the students. So that's the
beauty of NPTEL. So thank you very much

So do NPTEL course within in your core.
So core that is a core means if you are
a CSE student you do it in a so CSE
domain. You if you are a ECE student do
the ECE domain. So it will be it will be
very useful
to develop or to

I'm working in Sona College of
Technology.
I have completed this time 12 courses in
NPTEL. Totally I have completed four
sorry
I got four
star in this time
and then I have completed 44 NPTEL
courses so far.
I learned lot of things in the NPTEL.
Before the NPTEL
we are not getting that much
guidance
from the textbook but the professors are
teaching
very good mainly on the researches
researches they're concentrating they're
taking some journals so they are telling
related to the research very good so it
should be very useful for academics and
also for research.
I think
technical communication for engineers. I
think I I learn a lot of knowledge from
this course and
we get new concept from professors
teaching so that should be very better
for me.
And then that should be we can teach in
the classes for the students also should
be better for me. I really thank our
management Sona College of Technology
our chairman our principal and our head
head of the department and our NPTEL
coordinator and SPOC.
We have to create the awareness for the
students
faculty will create the awareness for
the students
they will learn a lot. I I really thank
for IIT for uh
uh
doing this kind of
uh NPTEL star events and uh
uh this is the second time I'm coming
here because I I already got
three to four times but I was not able
to come during on the time so this is
the second time I am coming here.

uh Ramapuram. Uh so far I have completed
nearly four courses and I'm very happy
with the NPTEL courses. Initially I
started this NPTEL courses as a
compulsion from our college and later it
really helped us to upgrade our
knowledge even it helps us to upgrade
our knowledge to teach students it helps
us a lot. Um recently I completed uh Dr.
Abhishek Pari sir's feminist writing
actually it gave us a different kind of
perceptions that we have not really look
into. So, even from animate animated
stories we had a different kind of
experience. So, that is a very very
significant course that I have done so
far. So, this is the first time that I'm
visiting IIT Madras. So, I'm very much
excited and I really wanted to explore
everything here in IIT.

So, actually I did manufacturing
engineering course fundamentals of
manufacturing engineering organized by
IIT Kharagpur actually. It was my
favorite course actually.
So, I got a gold medal in two times I
got gold medal. I'm I'm aiming to score
100%.
Actually, it's I want to guide the
students actually first. I'm basically
I'm a professor. So, I want to equip
myself in my own domain actually. So,
NPTEL course helps me to
hone my knowledge in my particular
domain so that I can mentor my students
so that they can shine in their career.
That's my motto to do NPTEL course.
Actually, I know the subjects actually
we have been teaching the subject for
so many years so many years. But this
course gives me some extra knowledge.
