Video summary

Narsisistler asla anlayacakları için beklemezsiniz; iyileşmek, his

In this video, I'm going to explain how narcissists slowly break impaths. This might hit quite deeply for some of you. So, I just want to warn you now because I think a lot of people who are watching this have spent years trying to explain a feeling they could never put into words. You just knew something was happening to you emotionally. You felt yourself changing along the way. but you weren't sure exactly what it was. You found yourself becoming more anxious, more tired, and more unsure of yourself. And yet, to everyone else, the relationship may have looked completely normal. That's what makes these relationships so confusing, because they don't always destroy people loudly. A lot of the damage happens quietly behind closed doors. They chip away at you over a long period of time until one day you wake up and you barely recognize yourself anymore. You see it in yourself that you're a completely different person from how you used to be. And the strange thing is that you may have felt it very early on. You may have noticed things right at the start that made you very uncomfortable. You may have felt confused after conversations, but you may not have blamed them. And instead, you may have doubted yourself because maybe you were afraid or you felt lonely. But this is how the real damage starts to begin. Because as impaths, we look inwards first. We want to understand. We want connection. We want peace. So instead of trusting the discomfort you were feeling or questioning what could be going on with that other person, we find a way to justify it. We assume that they must be stressed. Maybe they had a difficult childhood. Maybe they're afraid of intimacy. Maybe I'm overthinking things. Maybe I need to communicate better. And while you're questioning yourself, you start disconnecting from your own instincts. Instincts that were actually correct the entire time. And this is one of the main ways that narcissists break people psychologically. Not through one seemingly significant event, but through constant emotional erosion. They slowly teach you not to trust what you see or what you even feel because their relationships are often built on contradiction. They may act as though they represent something, something that is valuable or meaningful to them. But then they will go and do things that contradict what they are meant to represent. And it is these contradictions where they constantly say one thing and do another that eventually erodess your sense of meaning and purpose because at the start they can feel intensely emotional. You may have felt chosen. You may have felt wanted. You may have felt special or different. But then suddenly they go cold all of a sudden. And this can be very destabilizing for an impath because one week they may be obsessed with you, but then the next week they're cold and distant. One day they're affectionate and they want to be with you. The next they act irritated by your emotions. One moment you feel safe, the next you feel like you're walking on eggshells trying not to upset them. And because impaths are emotionally adaptive people, you may find that you stop shapeshifting to stabilize the relationship, even though it is the relationship that's toxic. And this is really important. Impaths shapeshift. They become calmer, softer. They become more patient, more understanding. They start monitoring tone of voice, timing, mood, or energy. They become hyper aware of emotional changes [music] in their environment until eventually they stop feeling like themselves. They start becoming whoever keeps the relationship peaceful, whoever makes them feel safe in the relationship. And it is very exhausting. Now, here's something many people underestimate. Narcissists don't just hurt impass through cruelty. A lot of the damage comes from inconsistency. And inconsistency creates anxiety. Your nervous system never fully settles. You start living emotionally on standby where you're constantly in a state of high alert for the next emergency. Ensuring that you are close by and ready to jump in at a moment's notice. You're checking their mood before you speak. You're replaying conversations afterwards, constantly wondering if you said the wrong thing. You're feeling relief when they're in a good mood, and you're feeling tension when they walk through the door. Many empaths don't even realize how much stress they're carrying until the relationship is over. They may develop panic attacks, hair loss, insomnia, constant stomach issues, brain fog, and emotional numbness. And the most heartbreaking thing about it is how many of them still defend the narcissist while they're falling apart internally because empaths do not stop loving that easily. They keep trying to understand regardless of what they're going through, regardless of what is being done to them or how it is affecting them. And that is what makes these relationships so psychologically addictive. The empath keeps chasing emotional clarity that they're never going to find. They keep thinking, "If I'm just more like how they want me to be, if I show them approval and kindness, or if I'm more transparent and honest, then maybe we can get back to how things felt before." But what empaths eventually realize is this. The beginning of the relationship was not emotional safety. It was emotional intensity which can feel similar to connection in the early stages, especially to deeply empathetic people. Many empaths are not traumatized by what happened to them. They're traumatized by what never happened. They waited for reassurance. They hoped for accountability. They kept trying to learn emotional safety. And yet calm conversations kept turning into confusion. They never felt emotionally chosen until after enough time in this dynamic. They start to abandon parts of themselves just to survive emotionally. They stop expressing their needs. They stop speaking openly. They stop reacting honestly. And they stop trusting their own intuition. until eventually they become a quieter version of themselves. And it's not because you're weak. It's because your nervous system adapted to emotional instability. But you were not too sensitive. You were emotionally overloaded for a very long time. You were not crazy. You were trying to make sense of constant emotional contradictions. You were not hard to love. You were trying to emotionally connect with someone who often experienced relationships through control, validation, and self-interest instead of vulnerability. So, the damage wasn't just the arguments you had. It was the gradual loss of selfrust. But your healing begins when you reconnect with yourself again, not when you finally get the apology. Not when the narcissist finally understands. They are never going to understand. But it will all begin to make sense to you when you stop needing permission to trust what you felt from the very beginning. Because the odds are that not only did you notice something that was wrong when certain things were happening, but you were already on edge. You already knew something was wrong even before that. And once you fully reconnect with that intuition again, the manipulation stops working the way that it did before. Just think about this. What were you pretending not to know in the relationship? Think about it and write it down or let me know in the comments because that is why healed empaths become so powerful. Not because they become cold but because they finally stop abandoning themselves to keep someone comfortable, someone who doesn't even deserve it.
