I think the trick is we need to figure out how we're going to conquer purples towns. That portal there is here and it's not far from the yellow. Um, great. I can't get there now. How do you want me to I can't interact with that. I'm I'm totally stranded. All I could do is go through this portal, come down here. I could get back to it the really long way. Right. The fortress zone might not have a town. You know, before I sign off, let's just have a quick look again at what we think's going on. We know there's 10 towns in the template. That means that pink and blue each have one each and that's the tower and the factory respectively. Purple have two which is the ramp part and the I think it's another factory which we can check by hitting the scenario information. Yeah, purple has its own factory as well as the rampart. And that means it's glued. This is one the these are two factories. This is a blue factory. There's another whole factory up here. A purple one. Okay, which I think we will find and kill between us. The thing is that this this this zone can be physically we can walk through here with Luna and attack them from this side. Jedi can walk up through here probably and attack this side. And then Sephenroth kills the tower by walking the hard way up through here and killing it. Welcome back for more Paul Goes goodness. Just had a huge roast dinner. So so nice. And now I'm scanning the scene before I do anything else. I hit the record button. Um, and you know that feeling you get when you're playing a game like this, um, or a scenario like this, and it just starts to feel like, I think I might have this. I think I might have got it. Uh, so I've helpfully left us right at the end with everyone kind of parked where they need to be for the end turn button. Let's go ahead and hit that end turn button and see where we're see what we're dealing with. Yep. Okay. Victoria getting in the water could be a problem if she's going to do that. This is reminding me of the Levita campaign in Conflux. where there was a lot of resurrection of grand elves happening all the way through the game. I cannot enter the town, but I can buy the stuff that's here. Um, if I buy it, he's welcome to try to fight it, I guess. Or I can let him take it. And that will cost me 16 spell points if he chooses to do that. It is slightly annoying. I don't know whether I need the money yet. Luna is the person who would want the money spent. Um, she's got this job to do. Um, he's going to come out and meet her ideally to upgrade the liches. So, he could come to here and do that. Run back again. That's part of her natural journey. Yep. He'll get most of the way back. So there's no need to spend any money at the necro today. So that's nice. Ratcher would like to move off here, but he doesn't have to. Uh I am scouting for the team. I don't think Luna needs to come to the necro. She knows anime dead, so it's not resurrection. She needs to know it's anime dead. She needs to know. And she has that 760 and it's way cheaper. Oh, it's four points cheaper. Okay. She's also going to gain some attack and defense. And when we look at Victoria 8 978, so I beat that as things stand. Come out and meet her, Jac. Good. I think on a resourceless start, it's not too bad. Pop your head in here just to say hi. And let's have a look at the factory. Wow. What kind of town is it? Yeah. Built from the ground up, literally. Um, I love this art. I mean, look at the resource silo, the steam punkiness of it. Uh, at first I was really hesitant. I thought with the gunslingers, I was like, rifles, really? Gunpowder? about gunpowder weaponry and Heroes of Mind magic, but it works. It It just does because there's so much more to the town than just cowboys and stuff. It's like there's the cotals, the armadillos. Um, integration of the halflings into the town I think really works from a theme point of view. I mean, I've talked before about how I think the halflings are a bit of a clunky trap um to go into, but um I'm not as much of a fan of them as I am of the uh of the Gremlins. Um but uh yeah, it's just a cool town and I love the vista with the kind of the canyon, you know, um Grand Canyon inspired vista. It's just it's just so so good. This is their best work in my opinion. Uh, of the three towns they've made, um, this one really really stands out to me. It's it's just so well done. The heroes are amazing. They're charact so characterful and that hero of magic that's a specialist in sandworms and he's got this whole history of being a shepherd of the sandworms. Like, it's been thought about and looked up and um, I don't know, they they just engage really well on this town. Anyway, wax on about it enough. Um, I'm not taking anyone with me. I don't want the totals. I could consider leaving behind my slowest stuff, which is the queens. How much are the queens really helping me? How much would I miss them? I can't leave the queens. What are you talking about? I love the queens. You're not taking my queens. He's looking back out at the screen at me. You're not taking my queens. Fine. I'm hoping the two regions connect to each other naturally, but they may not. Uh, if I was a betting man, I'd say that there's no chance of me guessing, right? So, let's just guess. Okay. So, she definitely wants all the wraiths. Um, no more money coming from other sources. How do I get all this wood and stone in the space of a few turns? I have tons of both. Not complaining. But one thing I did actually on this template is I deleted the um wooden stone from all the other zones other than the starting towns in an effort to try to turn down that glood of stone and ore that happens in the late game and actually make it a bit more of an interesting commodity for a bit longer. Obviously didn't work. Now what does Luna does Luna have any nondead? No, it's pure undead. Do I leave any soldiers behind? She has no zombies. And she has no lords. There's only 16 of them. No, we need to push push on to the task's end. up here. Luna comes through here to challenge purple to challenge Victoria. Oh, I should have taken a screenshot of her army. It's five to nine of the upgraded total. Five to nine gold dragons. I have expert animate dead and about 180 spell points to work with. I can reanimate till the cows come home. 16 lords is no joke. Um, these things get stronger and stronger, right, when they gobble up corpses. And that means the green dragons can't come back. But I can't do much about it. Give them a haircut. I was like, "No, you're supposed to be running from me. Don't you know I've got the armor of the damned?" It's like, "Yeah, you've got the armor of the damned, but this isn't a very good attack." Turn three implosion. And then just start spamming resurrect. So you take basically an implosion. You give all of these an implosion haircut right off the off the bat. That's what I needed to do instead of resurrecting the unicorns. So, mistakes were made. Ballistics, of course. Mistakes were made, but now there's no one left. Well, all right. I probably Yeah, it's probably more of like um yeah, the warlocks. Uh I don't know, circle. Um Luna fits so beautifully into the team as well. Elementalist is just perfect to hire when you're doing all this spellcasting stuff. Scholar thing was really interesting. The whole journey of Jedi becoming a teacher after all. Um, Sephan Roth eventually learned resurrection and just yeah, that that build at the end, 800 spell points, 14 archangels, and um, all of the uh, yeah, all of the time in the world to resurrect and all the rest of it. Um, extremely difficult to deal with for anyone uh, any enemies that we come across. Cool fight. Great time had. Will I ever crack tier seven in these in this new Horn of the Abyss um structure with the eight opponents on extra large? I actually am not sure that I ever will now because I'm I'm trying to look back at all the mistakes I made strategically. There were some, but do I have enough skill to see beyond those to the act like the bigger ticket items that you know I could have done better? um the kind of unknown unknowns. I don't know that I do. Um but anyway, I'll end up watching it all back cuz I've got to do the editing uh of everything. So, I'll have a think about that in the meantime.
