So, we'll try and do it cheaply. That's one thing about the conservatories that I underrate is that if you can suffer the pain of the griffins, the reward is like it. These six angels have just unlocked fights and given Sephro a chance to breathe. She doesn't have to, you know, cast a hundred points worth of chain lightnings every fight. It's like, oh, thank God. I can just use the angels. Um, yeah. Who cares? I'm still not casting anything until I have to. It's It's less glitzy. It's less glam. Uh, let's make sure these are dead cuz having demons come back is really annoying. Decent damage. Not bad. Uh, how many do I kill? Not enough. I've always felt like the giants could do with a little bit more clothing. Is it just me? Am I being too much of a prude? Just play carefully. You can do it without spell points. The morale risk would be unacceptable though, I think, with think if if you're planning to take this long. But spirit of oppression Oops, I misclicked there. But it turns out that it didn't matter. I accidentally double clicked the mouse and then immediately clicked it again, which waited on the harpy's turn. If I'd waited on the giant's turn, I may have been in strife. No, probably would have been all right. What's his HP? 150. Not great. But yeah, we just want to use the angels to do all of the work here. That's fine. They're not going to risk anything here. Yep. Sure. She just flew up the water chain instead of learning it. Yeah. Um anyway, you meet an old armorer who claims he owes you a favor, taking him up on it. Pieces together. He pieces together some dragon scales forming a well-fashioned breast beat. And this is good for her. Attack and dispense by four. That's just buffing the angels nicely. So, we're really happy with that. You could get this these fang arm things. I don't think they can hypnotize I'm just quickly checked. Yeah. So, I looked it up. They 27 of them can only hypnotize probably the giants. They're not going to be able to hypnotize a stack of six angels. So, I think it's a safe attack. It's a shame we don't want to do the things in here. Um, I've already got this. It's a bit out of my way is the only thing. No, I'm going to move on here. Okay, I did all the things. Uh, I didn't get you the money you needed for. What did I need to do again? Upgrade these bad boys. I need like 800 bucks, so I'm not going to the trading post. I'll just do it this way. A decent fighting force for Jedi to go and get to work. This is actually quite good. Now we're getting fights in. I like this. Not sure how he's going to go against the griffins. And he doesn't have mysticism, this guy. So, we do need to use our spell point sparingly. Uh, it's just gremlins here. So, let's just do this as is. Uh, and because we have the good archery, uh, I'm actually going to say do pursue 70 without any masters, we'll die to this completely academically. I don't think there's any need to take uh any more time to show that fight. We'll just take it. Okay. Happy with that. Let's end the turn. Any movement from Tan Ran? So, I thought maybe we might see. Okay. So, there's the edge of the cover of darkness. That tells us something about where the town is. It's here. So, the question is, could Sephro get there today or this week rather? And I could consider um flying over the walls with the angels and chain lightning everything behind the walls. That's if they're easy even our defenders. Okay, Ran's existing army as it was is going to really struggle against the chain lightning if we fight in the open. I could leave the steel elves guarding that portal. Uh, or I could poke my head through. Lots of steel elves. Depends how spread out they are. If they're in one tight pack, I can blind. Uh, I could haste the angels actually if they're in the middle. Might be another option. Yeah, let's come and have a look. I don't know yet or whether I want to do it or not. I'll take a step. Is it worth that time? I mean, he's got plenty of time to go and challenge Renloo. So, I think it's okay. We'll do the fight. See if we can do better there in two stacks. A bit of a shame. I probably should have split the angels, but even then that's going to be problematic. Um, yeah, they're quite tanky actually, these things. 24 health for a ranged attacking unit is pretty good at tier three. That's the same as a Medusa pretty much. Eight shots. 25 health I think they are. Maybe they're 30. 24 health on these. Yeah, very, very strong. Um, so a well aimed lightning bolt would do the job. I can't get morale, but it's effectively the same. It's cheaper to just haste, right? Does the exact same thing. Plus three moves. Yeah, we just have to accept this. We are going to lose harpies in the exchange, but it's okay. That's kind of what they're there for. Um, yeah, there's no morale. There's nowhere to hide. Oh well. a pack of great shamans. Similarly, the great shaman is a quite powerful creature from the bullwark. They have a ranged attack. They could surprise us uh because they one of the things they can do is they can freeze. They have a 20% chance to freeze uh the target. Um so the way I like to think of them is a bit like a unicorn. Sorry, I just bumped my microphone there. Uh, bit like a unicorn, but imagine a unicorn that could shoot. Pretty scary, right? Um, imagine that blinding attack triggering from long range. That's pretty much what freezing is. So, yeah, pretty good unit actually. The great shaman, I think. Uh, not one that I want to fight right now. And I'm kind of busy anyway, but it's nice to have that scout done. I don't have time for these things, I don't think. I think I'd like her to just come here. You may as well clear these for me. could clear these for me. Hand the harpies off first. I think there's a good 10 chance the 10 say, "Hey, the evil eyes are going to retaliate and murder me. I'll just take one of these." This thing's getting blinded. So, I only kill five to seven. What? Blindness persists until it's attacked or dispelled. Does not affect undead. Okay. What's not explained there though is that when it wakes up, it doesn't get a turn. if you're an advanced one, if you're an advanced caster. And that nuance was uh lost on me a little bit there. That's okay. It's a shame about the Medusa. No, I'm keeping everything open. I want I need I need to roll Earth Magic. Two angels and we thankfully do have room for them. I've made that mistake before so many times where it's like I've got seven great stacks and I just don't have room and I have to sacrifice one of my things. It's like no dema demon demon. What do I want to do with dema now? So we've kind of done it. We're going to kill the cyclops. We're going to win that fight. I think we're going to win this win. We're just going to keep winning. Day four. Day five. I'm actually okay with this. Let's Let's I know it's not amazing, but it's okay. His time isn't worth that much. The main reason you're here is to know me shower and eventually teach it to us and to run around helping us with various errands. And I know that that's not as awesome as your journey usually ends up being, being one of the absolutely best heroes in the game. I mean, he really is. Just look at this meteor shower. And he comes with scouting. Like he's fantastic. He's like he's a probably top three, top four in the whole game. I can't remember. Um I talked about him. I did a heroes tier list, but it was a hero's class kind of podium thing where the classes were, you know, figuring out who was the best class available now on the channel. Um, someone asked me to do like the actual individual heroes tier list, which sounds pretty fun. I might do that. Dimma would be up there. He's S. Demer is S. Spoiler alert. Uh, but in this run, he came to the party a little late. Um, yeah, our town's looking good, eh? Okay. I don't want to build anything. I don't want to waste time on the mushroom rings, I don't think. Don't I? Let's build the mushroom rings. We have the external dwelling. It's maybe it's kind of half relevant. That's all right. All right. We got to kill Tan, though. We're end of month one and we haven't we haven't stuck it to them. Do I have time to do all this or do I need to quickly go upstairs and kill Tan and and say, "Okay, let's do this." This is a sort of a key pivoting moment of the game. If I go upstairs and Randlu embarrasses me, um, I respawn. I lose six angels, but I respawn with expert um, wisdom. Yeah, I learned the fire elemental. I'm galloping back down again with mana vortex mana. And I'd rather kill him before day one. It' be nice to have my angels a bit more. I come here do this day five, day six, day seven. I don't think I've got enough time. I do have enough time, I think, to get the plus two attack. I I'll do that. Uh, it is attack rather than defense now because that's what the angels are about. I mean, they're also about defense to be fair. I'm not going to visit that one. I want to fight Ranloo. They're going to be waiting for us to come to them. Um, and we're going to want to prevent them from shooting. I always find that blinding a cyclops feels kind of ironically cruel. I'm reminded of that scene in Kill Bill, you know, where oh, spoiler alert, but anyway, it's like you've got one eye and then even then, like, of all the people to pick on with the blind spell, you pick on that one poor bloke who's only got one eye. It feels kind of mean. Okay. Um, I do wish to attack them. Ooh, should be some good prizes here. Four of each. Love it. Okay. Okay, the kings will walk up to the guys here. So, how many do I kill? I kill two. Okay. And then the evil eyes do get to act before you. Who are you? Right. So, you're the unlucky one, I think. Oh, it's not going to matter because the harpies will be next to you. And then the evil eyes are going to act. Uh, okay. Right. Well, this harpy is going to frustrate you. I am going to take a mle hit to the um trogos, which is a bit of a shame actually. Maybe even. How far can they walk? They might come up and finish the job against the uh a clutch. Although, see, yeah, that's clever AI. I love that AI. That's clever enough to figure out, well, okay, I can't attack, but I can unlock one of my friends instead of just killing this. How many humans would think of that? Maybe we would. Okay, so this comes down to whether or not this can get to me. It can. I love the optionality, the monomally penalty. Cop that. Nothing better to do but this. But that's suicidal. Okay. Whereas when I was advanced, they do counterattack, but at one quarter strength. Okay. Okay. So, this is totally fine. Um, okay. Shame about the evil line, but I'll take it. All right.
